ban war, the bomb, guns and pressure cookers

H/T Doc Jeff

Thanks Doc. Checking my inbox. Can’t believe this.

I wish I could think of clever things to say. Something pithy perhaps.  But really, this speaks for itself.

While it did not surprise me, what did stop me in my tracks was the guy taking a course in Beatles History. That’s a college course? For credit?

America is doomed too it seems.

no good deed goes unpunished … the state of things today …

There’s a story been doing the rounds the last couple of days, and if I had been up to it I should have shared this bit of insanity with you yesterday.  This is an example of what this once great country has come to.  What makes things worse yet, there are young Brits bleeding and dying and not just on the streets of their local communities.  Young fellows in far away places leaving a little bit of England etc.  It bothers me a lot, and does so even more when I read this sort of thing, which convinces me that this place is finished and doomed, because there are far too many people like one of those in the story I should have posted.  And too many like the city council involved.
For all that I post about the crumbling justice system and teen killers, it is a good feeling to hear about one young kid who without thought to reimbursement or even thanks, does something good quietly on his own. At age 15 he actually was able to get a city to commit thousands for the restoration of a neglected war memorial.  A memorial he had been tending in his spare time, from the age of 7.  A memorial he spent spare pennies on buying stuff for it to make it presentable.
Jeesh.  You have to wonder about some people.  And trust me, you won’t figure them out.  They all fit one kind of mold.
I’ll let Richard Littlejohn pick up this story, he tells it better.  And all of the rest of it is, as usual, at the link below. Don’t miss it.

SOME DEEDS
Richard Littlejohn
Daily Mail

Some stories make my blood boil. You won’t always find them on the front pages or leading the television news bulletins. But they tell you more about the condition of modern Britain than most of what passes for ‘news’ these days.

Take the case of 19-year-old Kurtis Green, from Dersingham in Norfolk. For the past 12 years he has been lovingly tending the war memorial opposite his parents’ fish and chip shop.

image

It began when he was just seven. Kurtis saved up his pocket money to buy gardening tools and started clearing litter and planting bulbs.
Over the years he has devoted hundreds of hours of unpaid time to his task. When he was 15, he mounted a successful campaign to persuade councillors to spend £20,000 restoring the memorial with new flowerbeds, railings, seating and block paving.

Kurtis won a Norfolk Young People’s Role Model of the Year award and was congratulated by the Queen.

Thanks to his efforts, the local branch of the British Legion collected a prize for Norfolk’s most improved war memorial.

But Kurtis wasn’t content to rest on his laurels. Deciding the plants and flowers could do with more irrigation, he tapped into a nearby water supply, which had been installed as part of the restoration programme.

Together with a fellow villager, 65-year-old John Houston, he went about the work in a professional manner. At the insistence of the council, he took out public liability insurance and coned off the area where the trench was being dug.

Once the work was complete, the trench was filled in and new grass seed planted. ‘It actually looked better than when we started,’ said Kurtis proudly.
But this is where it all began to unravel. No good deed, as they say, ever goes unpunished.

His grandfather served in World War II and Kurtis says he started his clean-up campaign because it ‘was not in a fit state’ to honour those who had fought for their country.

While Kurtis and John were carrying out the work, along came a councillor and started taking photographs on his mobile phone. ‘The next thing we knew we were reported to the police.’

Not so fast folks. There is more right here Oh boy, is there more.

Because the insanity continues with ice cream vans being banned to save on carbon emissions. It’s all at the link. And none of it is funny.

‘Whatever happens, we have got. The Maxim Gun, and they have not.”

It occurs to me yet again, as it often does, that this generation or a large part of it, would never have seen the Nazi threat.  Of course, the Brits felt duty bound to honor a treaty they signed with Poland.  Not to mention they tried to undo it ( some did try ) but anyway, the war began in ‘39 with the French reluctantly dragged along for company as well.

So fast forward to where we are now, and read some of the comments ppl are making with regard to the cowardly use of drones and GASP, the fact that Brit RAF people are involved as well, and one gets the feeling these folks would never have fought WW2.  All the angst and all the hand wringing over civilian casualties as if they were intentionally targeted.

Anyway, some Brits are angry that RAF people are flying American drones . WAR CRIME they shout.  Jerks.  As wars have progressed the weapons technology has done so also. That isn’t rocket science.  But to read some of these folks, I get the idea they want us to go out jousting against the Taliban with flags waving and ladies favors tied to the lance.  Nice picture.  For Hollywood maybe.

It was well put a long time ago and wars always go this way.

‘Whatever happens, we have got. The Maxim Gun, and they have not.” And nothing will ever change that in war. Oh right. The left isn’t calling this a war.

RAF’s role in US drone attacks that killed hundreds of Iraqis: MoD admits for first time that Britain helped pilot the aircraft from American bases

Ministry of Defence has admitted for the first time British helped fly drones
Drones were operated remotely from bases thousands of miles away
RAF were involved in as many as three missions a week from 2004
Tory MP said news raised ‘serious questions’ about British role in Iraq war

By Robert Verkaik

RAF pilots took part in America’s notorious drone programme in Iraq in which hundreds of civilians died, The Mail on Sunday has learned.

Heavily armed drones – using deadly missiles to destroy targets – were flying as many as three missions a week from 2004.

They were operated remotely by pilots, often from bases thousands of miles away.

It had been thought the operations in Iraq, which have been condemned by human rights groups as war crimes, were run solely by the US Air Force. Now the Ministry of Defence has admitted for the first time that British personnel were helping to fly the drones from bases in the United States.

In a statement to Parliament, Armed Forces Minister Andrew Robathan was forced to correct a previous account in which he said the RAF flew US drones only in Afghanistan and Libya.

He said: ‘The answer should have said that UK personnel embedded with the US Air Force have only flown US RPAS [Remotely Piloted Aircraft Systems] in support of operations in Afghanistan, Libya and Iraq.’

The MoD conceded that these embedded missions ran from 2004 to 2009, but a spokesman was unable to provide further details. One intelligence source said British pilots would have worked on drone operations in Basra, using Hellfire missiles to target insurgents fighting UK forces.

the jerk

It’s clear as gin clear water I need to stop reading this shmuck who rants about my country and how we react. Cos every time I read the shit I get angry. Why the hell can’t I just stop?  Must be something bad going on in my head to read this crap. How can anyone be so fucking stupid and hold down his job and make the millions he has over the years?  And he says NY Senator Greg Ball is a madman. Jeesh.

Would some patriot PLEASE, shoot this mother*****r

From Piers (dough face) Morgan

Until tonight, I thought that Alex Jones was the most obnoxious human being I’d ever interviewed.
He was the Texan radio host who screamed at me on air after the Sandy Hook school shooting – a bizarre encounter that got 12 million hits on YouTube.

But then came New York state senator Greg Ball.

After the police captured one of the Boston Marathon bombers alive, he tweeted: ‘So, scumbag No. 2 in custody – who wouldn’t use torture on this punk to save more lives?’

The slight problem being that Dzhokhar Tsarnaev is an American citizen, who committed a crime on American soil – so torturing him would be a breach of the U.S. Constitution.

He was issued a green card in 2007 and became a naturalized citizen of the U.S. in 2012.  And it’s doubtful from the beginning if being an American citizen meant anything more to the turd, except a chance for a step up a ladder. Anyway, considering what the bastard did to his “fellow” citizens, why should being a citizen make any difference?

Fuck You Piers! I hope you get hit by bus but please don’t die too quickly. Dumb ass.

Our gun hating hero continues:

I asked Ball if he stood by his comments, and off he went, like a ranting madman.

‘Politicians are full of crap! I’m a red-blooded American! Dude, you’re talking to a guy that supports the death penalty for cop killers and terrorists!’

He was almost foaming at the mouth.
‘Let me ask YOU a question. If you’d had 30 minutes with Osama Bin Laden before he was shot, what would you do – PLAY CARDS WITH HIM?’

Bin Laden, of course, was not an American citizen, but this minor detail was lost on Senator Ball.

‘Maybe I should say it in a British accent!’ he scored, ‘This man KILLED INNOCENT MEN, WOMEN, CHILDREN.’

He was now smirking manically, like Jack Nicholson in The Shining.
‘Can you stop being such a jerk?’ I rejoindered.

‘You get paid for it!’ he shot back, ‘I figured I’d give you a taste of your own medicine!

‘You just don’t like it when you don’t have another BOBBLEHEAD you can beat up and treat like a coward, do you?

‘If I was in a room with Bin Laden and a baseball bat, yes, I would TORTURE HIM!’

‘Very macho,’ I observed.

‘It’s not about being macho! If I wanted to be macho, I would challenge you to an arm wrestle!’

Mr Jones, move aside.

-30-

Jeez ... is this damn fool a total idiot er what?

Wife threatens to get the magazine before I do and shred his column before I can get to read it. She doesn’t care for the color blue I paint the air with when I read this guy.

Facepalm Time

There Are None So Blind As Those Who Will Not See

Man Shouts Allah Akbar and Tries to Cut Rabbi’s Throat: Police Say Motive Unclear

Crivens, do I even need to grab quotes and post the link? Another day’s circle on the endless Merry Go Round Of Stupid.

PARIS — An escapee from a psychiatric institution slashed a rabbi and his son with a box-cutter on Tuesday, prompting witnesses to tackle and subdue the attacker after a chase through a Paris synagogue, officials said.

The rabbi, who is in his late 40s, was recovering from surgery for a neck injury and his 18-year-old son sustained lesser injuries in the attack north of a touristic shopping area near Paris’ gilded Opera Garnier, according to police and judicial officials and Richard Prasquier, who heads CRIF, France’s largest umbrella organization of Jewish groups.

The assailant was of Iranian origin, and an official investigation was underway to determine a possible motive, Prasquier said.

Agnes Thibault-Lecuivre, a spokeswoman for the Paris prosecutor’s office, said the two victims had been wearing Jewish skullcaps, and the attacker was detained after a chase through the synagogue. The Simon Wiesenthal Center, which monitors anti-Semitic incidents worldwide, said in a statement that the assailant screamed “Allah-u-Akbar” — or “God is great” — during the attack.

PARIS.

Fwance.

Oh well, that explains everything.

Saw this on Fox today, even though the story is a couple weeks old. Another armed minority type in serious need of anger management and patience classes. OTOH, IMHO nobody in their right mind should ever go near an urban Micky D’s.

Georgia detective allegedly pulls gun in McDonald’s drive-thru

image
“allegedly” because that’s him in the picture right there

A metro Atlanta police sergeant accused of pulling a gun on a customer in a McDonalds drive-thru has been arrested.

Forsyth County sheriff’s spokesman Courtney Spriggs Wednesday said DeKalb County police Sgt. Scott Biumi has been charged with aggravated assault after authorities say he pointed a gun at a man during an argument on April 9.

Sheriff’s officials say surveillance footage from inside the restaurant shows the 48-year-old sergeant step between the man’s car and the drive-thru window. Authorities say he pointed the weapon into the car as he leaned into the driver’s side window.

Authorities say the April 9 incident was caught on surveillance video, MyFoxAtlanta.com reported.

The station identified the alleged victim as 18-year-old Ryan Mash.

“I’m just like, ‘I don’t want to die.  I’m sorry, sir.  I didn’t mean for any of this to happen,’” Mash recalled.

Mash told MyFoxAtlanta.com that he was waiting for his food, and he said he told Biumi that’s the only reason he was still sitting in the line.

My guess is that the McNugget Ho was taking too long with the car ahead of him in line.

WHAT WAR? IT’S LOST THANKS TO IDIOTS LIKE THESE AND THERE’S MORE OVEM IN THE WINGS

This is just one reason why the west and possibly us along with it, are losing this so called war.

Certain legal eagles and judges and those who foil the ability of the west to protect itself, should be hunted down and deleted with extreme prejudice.

This arrived from BBC news withing the last half hour.

Human rights court blocks extradition of UK-based terror suspect to US

European court of human rights bars Haroon Aswat’s extradition on account of his severe mental illness

Owen Bowcott, legal affairs correspondent

Extraditing a UK-based terror suspect to an American “supermax” high security prison would constitute “inhuman or degrading treatment”, the European court of human rights (ECHR) has ruled.

The Strasbourg court barred the removal of Haroon Aswat, whose nationality is unknown, from Broadmoor psychiatric hospital to the US on account of his severe mental illness.

Aswat, who suffers from paranoid schizophrenia, has been indicted in the US as a co-conspirator in a plan to establish a jihad training camp in Oregon.

He was arrested in 2005 in Britain following a request from US authorities for extradition. His lawyers have resisted his removal since then in a series of appeals.

n its judgment, the court said that it had given “full consideration to the submissions of the US department of Justice … and observed, in particular, that it could not be determined with certainty in which detention facility or facilities Mr Aswat would be placed if extradited to the USA, either before or after trial.

“It was also unclear how long he might expect to remain on remand pending trial. As for his detention following a possible conviction … although Mr Aswat would have access to mental health services regardless of which prison he was be detained in, his extradition to a country where he had no ties and where he would face an uncertain future in an as yet undetermined institution, and possibly be subjected to the highly restrictive regime in ADX Florence, would violate article 3 of the convention.”

Article 3 of the European convention on human rights prohibits inhuman or degrading treatment. Last year the Strasbourg court allowed the extradition of Babar Ahmad and four other suspects to US federal supermax prisons where inmates can spend 22 or 23 hours a day in solitary confinement.

The Home Office has expressed disappointment at the court ruling.

Tuesday’s judgement does not become final for three months.

So for the hell of it and to save arguments, lets agree the goat screwing, bearded SOB is truly out of what passes for a mind.  Fuck him.  Fire when ready and make it hurt.  I don’t really care.  If someone is that far off his game, if they’re totally nuts, they are just wasting resources and are a waste of valuable time. Time people.  The one thing that does not renew itself.
But okay. Some bleeding heart judge in Europe feels sorry for the poor boy.  He believes insanity should be treated differently, and I know he isn’t alone.
But some judges also have another view which to me is worse yet.

Like this ass wipe judge here in the UK who says .....

“Terror suspect must be allowed a normal social life.”

You couldn’t make that up. Wait, these days you could and it would be real.

Potential suicide bomber must be allowed a normal social life, rules judge, despite being named one of the country’s ‘most dangerous suspects’

Al Qaeda fanatic will be able to mingle more freely with fellow students

Man has tried to get into Afghanistan on numerous occasions for terrorism training

He also visited Olympic venues in London despite being banned

By IAN DRURY

image

A judge yesterday ordered strict curbs on a potential suicide bomber to be relaxed so he could enjoy a ‘normal social life’.

Mr Justice Wilkie said the alleged Al Qaeda fanatic ought to be able to mingle more freely with students at his university to avoid his ‘embarrassment and isolation’.

The constraints on the 24-year-old Somali man – considered one of the country’s most dangerous terror suspects – were ‘chilling’ and ‘disproportionate’, he said.

His High Court ruling ordering Home Secretary Theresa May to water down the restrictions deals a serious blow to the Government’s fight against terrorism.

And it comes despite fears by the security services that the man – known as CF – will contact other Islamic extremists to plot attacks against Britain.

The decision could lead to similar challenges by other terror suspects and may fuel concerns that the judiciary is chiselling away at measures to protect the UK from jihadists.

‘CF’ is one of nine people subject to Terrorism Prevention and Investigation Measures (TPIM) orders, introduced last year to restrict their movements, the use of computers and who they can meet.

The suspect, who is thought to have tried to get to Afghanistan for terrorist training and of fighting for the feared al-Shabaab group in Somalia, is only allowed to mix with undergraduates when it is ‘exclusively for the purpose of studies’.

But Mr Justice Wilkie said it was difficult for CF to avoid ‘informal social contact’ at lectures or the library. ‘They [the orders] must impose a chilling effect on CF’s participation in the life of a student on this course without any, apparent, beneficial effect on national security,’ he added.

Meanwhile, on our side of the ocean, things moving along as usual.  All is normal.

Jeesh. Just look at these shits.  Justice would demand they exit the same way they took out their victim. But no. They’ll be out in a few years still young enough to do it all again.  Just for laffs tho.  Bastards like these are all the reason one needs to own a gun.  So sorry tho ... not here. Have problems? Call police.

Btw ... they have an older brother who is serving life for murder.
See link for mommy dearest who is also in jail for trying to help cover up their crime. Nice family. Just the sort we all want to live next to. Hey wait, I wonder if I can get one of them to delete my neighbor’s dog.  Hmmmm. Only a thought.

And then there are yet more of these sub human life forms popping up.  They’re everywhere like roaches, and like insects they should be exterminated.
But no.
Chances are they won’t be deported anywhere because they have ... “rights” .....

a bit of left wing eye candy … have barf bag at the ready … this is one ugly bitch!

Even the American Embassy is cautioning Americans to be watchful and go with care, advise avoiding demonstrations.  Which will take place during the funeral for Mrs. Thatcher.

muslims?  Nope.

There will be anti Thatcher demonstrations next week and will continue for three days, by various left wing groups.  They hope to disrupt her funeral.

You folks wouldn’t believe the bile these scum, many who were not even born when she was in power, are spewing.  The song from Wizard of Oz, Ding Dong, The Witch is Dead, is being bought or played in record numbers so that it has gotten back on the charts.  The left is pushing for it to hit #1.

If a crowd of right wingers were to stage happy celebrations over the death of some commie puke we hate .... oh hang on. The right would never be allowed to hold any demonstration like that.

Anyway ....  remember this hag?  This skank?  This ugly pile of wrinkled filth?

Some of you do.  She made a bilious attack on Lady Thatcher in Parliament this week.

This is the face of the left folks.  Eye Candy for the twisted.

She said Mrs. Thatcher was not her idea of a woman.  Crivens.  Don’t think I wanna see what her idea of one is.
Here’s her vomit inducing photo.

Ten strangest holiday complaints

Travel company revealed British cruise customers’ quirkiest complaints

One woman wanted a full refund because she saw no celebrities on board

A man on an Alaskan cruise wanted compensation because it was cold

JAN DISLEY

A disgruntled travel agency has revealed the ten strangest complaints their customers made in the last 12 months.

Top of the list, compiled by bonvoyage.co.uk, was a woman who wanted a sound-proofed room because the noise of the Mediterranean kept her awake.

She was closely followed by a newly wed husband who was furious that he wasn’t offered a private butler to bring him rose petals, strawberries and champagne.

Third place went to the woman who moaned because she wasn’t sent a text prompting her to remember her passport.

And one couple were miffed when the captain ignored their note saying they would be back two hours later than departure time – and left without them.

A young woman on a Hawaiian cruise heard Gary Barlow had once been on her boat – and demanded to know why she hadn’t seen him.

One man on a cruise around Alaska even wanted compensation because the weather was not as warm as he had expected.

An elderly couple who went on a holiday around France and Spain asked for a refund because they weren’t provided with a packed lunch every day.

And a woman on a ship called Celebrity Cruises asked for a full refund last summer because she didn’t see any celebrities on board.

Rounding off the list was a couple from Yorkshire who moaned that staff were so kind it cost them too much money in tips and a woman who wanted a sea view in her windowless cabin.

Steph Curtin, from bonvoyage.co.uk, said: ‘The vast majority of feedback we get from holidaymakers is hugely positive, telling us what a great time they had, but from time to time we come across a few quirky complaints that we can do little to help.

‘Whilst we make sure we go back to every complaint, I’m afraid we can’t be held responsible for the sea being too loud or the lack of celebrities – as much as we wish we could put Gary Barlow on every cruise!’

There are two get my vote as dumbest and deserving of our moonbat award.

What were these folks thinking?  Hard to decide which the more unreasonable and stupid. But if pushed, I’d think the couple who thought a ship could be delayed with all it’s passengers just for their convenience. I mean, they took it for granted as something quite normal.  Makes ya wonder, what sort of demands might this couple make of people in their circle?  If they have one.

Prices Slashed! Best Deer Of The Day!

Too Good A Deal Deer To Pass By

Man Charged For Hunting In A Walmart Parking Lot

[Pittsburgh PA] An Indiana County man is facing several charges, after wildlife officials say he went deer hunting in a Walmart parking lot.

The Pennsylvania Game Commission says 40-year-old Arcangelo Bianco, Jr., fired several rounds from a handgun at a 10-point white-tailed deer from within the Burrell Township store’s parking lot, and then bagged the animal near Old William Penn Highway.

The alleged shooting happened last November, while Bianco was shopping at the store, and then saw the buck in the parking lot.

Oho, there might just be a competitor for Clinton NJ in the “biggest and mostest deer everywhere you look” competition. Out by Pittsburgh you get 10 pointers IN the parking lot. Here in Clinton we get them across the street from the Walmart parking lot. There a huge herd over there by Edna Mahan and the Developmental Center

“He got out of his car and chased the deer down through the parking lot, and I believe even across Route 22,” said Patrick Dougherty, the Indiana County District Attorney.

According to charging documents, the deer ran around a corner of the store, and Bianco hopped out of his truck, gun in hand, and “began firing multiple rounds at the deer.”

Concerned shoppers packing the area on a busy day for holiday shopping called 911 to report a man with a gun running through the parking lot.

Buck Fever. You never know when it will strike.

Bianco faces a misdemeanor count of reckless endangerment, as well as several hunting violations, including hunting without a license, shooting on or across highways and unlawful killing or taking of big game. The charges come after a four-month investigation.

State police initially opted to not file charges and hand over the case to the Game Commission whose charges carry stiffer penalties.

Dougherty says it was important that the charges be filed.

“Number one, we’re a big hunting community, and people that are legitimate hunters were very upset about this. Number two, that people that were at risk in parking lot that night,” said Dougherty.

Oh yeah, did I forget to mention that brainwave here went out hunting at 9pm??

Here in NJ they’d never get around to charging him with the hunting violations. He’d be locked up so fast for gun crimes and so on that it would make your head spin. Out in western PA they understand things a bit better. Man, gun, big deer. It’s inevitable what happens next.

Diabolical Stupidity

Too Stupid To Be Random Chance

Border Patrol Uniforms To Be Made In Mexico

“Ah, so sorry Senor, the machine she got stuck, and made an extra 250,000 uniforms by mistake. Not to worry, we sold them all for cheap to my cousin Pedro to cover expenses.”

(CNSNews.com) - U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) has granted uniform contracts to VF Imagewear, Inc., an apparel company that relies on manufacturing sites in Mexico for a “significant percentage” of its occupational garments.

The latest contract with the company was awarded on Dec. 20, 2012, to make “uniform and insignia items” for the CBP at an estimated cost of $6,157,997.57, and a ceiling of $8 million.

The CBP, which is responsible for protecting America’s borders, told CNSNews.com that items from VF Imagewear, a subsidiary of VF Corporation, are manufactured in a number of locations, “including Mexico.”

“There are no domestic preference regulations or statutes applicable to DHS/CBP that would prohibit the manufacture of uniform items in Mexico,” the CBP said.  “In fact, United States obligations under International Agreements require that the Agency accept items manufactured in Mexico.”

Well, there you go. Effed up regulations and treaties we get the short and dirty end of the stick on. But this is wrong. No, it’s far, far beyond wrong. This is past even typical thoughtless pig-headed stupidity. This smacks of “not enforcing laws we don’t like”. Of subverting the system from within, man. This smells almost like treason. It has the same kind of smarmy stench to it.

Sure, NAFTA and other treaties say we have to buy things from those other companies. But you do your research first, and then you award the contract under the Stimulus Plan, putting Americans back to work. And you have a little talk with the owners of the company ahead of time, just to make sure you have an understanding. No outsourcing this one. No offshoring. No importing. Here, you want an import contract? Here’s the shoelaces contract. Go get them from Honduras.

Effing government. It’s like they’re TRYING to fail. To weaken America. To leave us weak and exposed.

You Go Pamela!

San Francisco, Bizarro World As Usual

Fox News, Not Far Behind

In San Fran, this direct quote from Hamas is hate speech. AGAINST MUSLIMS.

Bus ads with jihadist quotes draw outcry in San Francisco

San Francisco leaders and the local Muslim community are slamming what they call a series of anti-Islam bus ads that contain quotes attributed to terrorists.

The ads, which began appearing on at least 10 city buses Monday, contain quotes such as one attributed to the militant Islamic group Hamas that reads: “Killing Jews is worship that brings us closer to Allah.”

“San Francisco is a city that celebrates its diversity and hateful speech and discrimination against our Arab and Muslim communities will never be tolerated,” Mayor Ed Lee said according to KTVU.

Lee, District Attorney George Gascon and other elected officials joined Arab and Muslim community leaders to publicly condemn the ads Monday, calling them racist.

First off, you stupid bung hole blasters, jizzlam is a religion, not a gene code. Thus any activity against it can not now, or ever, be racist. Pedalers of the pedophile profit come in all colors, shapes, sizes, and languages. So boy howdy, are you Wun Dum Phuc.  <-- now that’s racist!

Second, pull your brains out of your Hamster Hideaway™ as well. These ads contain quotations made by jihadists, and made by Islamicists in the support of jihad. You navel gazing narcissists have spent far too long staring in your mirrors adoring your own reflection; now the mirror is what you use to see the whole world. Which means you have it EXACTLY BACKWARDS. Those quotes are hateful speech alright. Hateful, anti-Semitic speech made by Muslims against Jews, and against the West, and against Christians.

Look, we know you guys play for the other team. You’re here, too near, we’re used to it. But get over your bad, sad, last year’s Prada wearing, selves; you can play for the other team and live here but you can’t play for the other team and live here. Which means you can’t get uppity when someone criticizes terrorism. Which is what you’re doing. And the whole country wants to knee you in the knutsack for your stupid. You can be as sensitive as you want, but don’t you DARE to ever claim that accurately quoting someone is making hate speech against them. That’s beyond screwed up in the head; that’s boringly, commonly stupid. Not outre at all. Vulgate, not fabulous.

The ads are paid for by the American Freedom Defense Initiative and feature Usama bin Laden, the Times Square car bomber and the alleged gunman* in the Fort Hood, Texas, shootings accompanied by quotes about warfare and weapons that the group links to Islam.

The group ran similar ads in San Francisco in August and has also posted ads in New York City, including one in September that called enemies of Israel “savages.”

San Francisco’s transit agency believes a First Amendment court decision forces it to accept the advertising. It plans to give the $5,000 used to pay for the ads to the city’s Human Rights Commission to study the impact of discrimination on San Francisco’s Islamic communities and run its own ads against discrimination.

American Freedom Defense Initiative’s executive director, Pamela Geller, told The Associated Press on Tuesday the purpose of the campaign is to show the “reality of jihad and root causes of terrorism, from the words of jihadists themselves.”

“City officials denounce our ads, but not the actual quotes from high-profile jihadists calling for holy war and genocide,” she said in an email.

“Our new campaign focuses on how jihadists use the texts and teachings of Islam to justify violence and supremacism.”

So I say Right On! for Pamela Gellar, the one war War On Terror who sees things like they are. She’s too scary for the paid-off faux-Conservative pussies at CPAC to have around, and now she’s taking the TRUTH out to the public. More power to her. Thank God that at least ONE public figure has the gall to stand up on the side of right. Darn shame she isn’t an elected politician or something even more public.

And her take on this panty twisting hissy fit from Backdoor Land? “The sickest news story ever” and you can read all about it in her blog right here. “The most perverse reversal of common sense ever.” Yup, that’s San Fran. Ass backwards, inside out, upside down. Dumber than fuck, but so full of their own hot air that they float along up by the ceiling.

Hindraker at PowerLine weighs in:
Hate Speech, San Francisco Style

The American Freedom Defense Initiative is a Pamela Geller-led organization that seeks to inform Americans about the dangers of Islamic extremism. Among other things, AFDI has placed advertising on buses in several metropolitan areas that contain educational messages. Many Muslims regard these posters as dirty pool, because they are so unfair as to quote the actual words of respected Islamic clerics.

Exactly. And that’s pretty messed up.

* = you know, the alleged gunman they caught red-bloody-handed at the scene when he ran out of bullets. The Allah-u-ackbar screaming psychiatrist the military had KNOWN was an armed raving jihadi for ages and was TOO FUCKING PUSSY to do anything about. The one where, TO THIS DAY, that mass murder had NOT been labeled the act of terrorism that it is. No, it’s “man made tragedy” and “workplace violence”. Also, he’s the guy who has STILL not gone on trial, either in civvie court or at a courts martial, so he STILL hasn’t been hanged or drawn and quartered or burned at the stake as he so richly deserves. And for that, I blame Obama.

diary of a fool

Shared something last week in which a number of you had things to say about the guy I was posting about.
Drew had a few choice words which fit quite well.  In fact you all did. Most did I believe.

Well, heeeeeees baaaaaak.

Yeah, the very same jerk writing in his magazine column today.

Just no way to resist this corny name dropper.  I wonder how much his Brit audience buys this stuff.

Get ready to be sick.

Former President Jimmy Carter will be judged more favourably in the future

Interviewed former U.S. President Jimmy Carter in San Diego today. And I asked him what his personal mantra had been during his time at the White House.
‘Never lie to, nor mislead, the American public,’ he replied, instantly.
‘And did you stick to it?’
‘I believe I did, yes.’
Carter gets a lot of flak for his one-term presidency, which many Americans saw as weak.
Yet, as he told me, ‘We never went to war during my time as President, never dropped a bomb, nor fired a bullet.
‘We also brought peace between Egypt and Israel, peace between the U.S. and most Latin American countries, and established good relations with China and Russia.
‘And we brought in an energy policy that cut America’s dependency on imported oil by half.’
I suspect history will judge Carter – a man of extraordinary energy and enthusiasm, despite being nearly 90 – much more favourably in the future.

Jimmy who?

FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 22

One of the most extraordinary coincidences of my life came in 2007 when I dined with Jerry Springer in Beverly Hills.
He recounted to me how he’d met Muhammad Ali a few months earlier, and The Greatest had revealed he watched Springer’s outrageous TV show every day.
I found this hard to believe, until we walked back to the hotel, a limousine pulled up as we arrived, Muhammad Ali stepped out and his wife shouted, ‘Hey, Jerry! Great to see you again! He’s still watching the show!’ I never doubted Jerry’s word again.
Tonight, I interviewed Ali’s daughter, May May, and she finally solved the mystery as to why her father likes The Jerry Springer Show so much.
‘Dad loves all the fighting!’ she giggled.

Oh nice.  That wonderful icon of good taste and promoter of .... what?
I can only credit Springer’s success to the fact that the culture really is in the crapper when anyone like him can be accepted and, here in the UK there was something called Jerry Springer The Opera a few years ago.  And Morgan thinks this sleazeball (Springer) is someone to admire and look up to.
And nothing to add re Ali who I’m surprised to learn is even allowed out based on recent reports.  And oh how convenient that the limo just happened to pull up.

SUNDAY, FEBRUARY

I attended a flash, star-studded post-Oscars party in LA tonight, and quickly found myself in a corner booth with those delightfully naughty sisters Jackie and Joan Collins.
Between them they know just about everyone in Hollywood, as was confirmed when Joan whispered in my ear, ‘Would you like to meet Steve Martin?’ I looked across to see the great man sitting a few feet away. ‘God, yes – he’s one of my all-time comedy heroes!’
Joan didn’t hesitate. ‘Steve, this is a friend of mine, Piers Morgan.’
Martin looked up, smiled broadly, stretched out his hand and uttered the immortal words, ‘Hi, Piers – I really admire your work.’ I waited for the inevitable punchline, but it never came.
Martin, possessor of one of the most magnificently diverse and impressive bodies of work in showbusiness history, had actually meant it.

Later, I bumped into Jeff Bezos, the billionaire creator of Amazon.
‘We’ve met before,’ I said. ‘I sat next to you at a dinner in London 12 years ago when I was editor of the Daily Mirror newspaper.’

TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 26

Heather Locklear watched me record my cameo appearance
I recorded a cameo performance in a hit American TV legal comedy called Franklin & Bash today, and a few of the show’s stars came to my CNN studio, including the two male lead actors and famed Hollywood beauty Heather Locklear.

OK, since I don’t see any American TV here and never even heard (and no reason to) the TV show he mentions, would anyone here know if Franklin & Bash is actually a hit show?

I SAVED THE BEST BIT OF PURE BS FOR LAST.

Still on his campaign to discredit American gun ownership, he presents this to his Brit public, as though ALL American gun owners buy the same thing.
As if anyone actually believes we will be invaded by the UN under an armed force.  Nonsense.
First, we already have been and it’s been done without firing a shot.  AND .... mostly it’s been done by us. Well no not bmews.  But you’d have to be blind not to know that where we are today could not have taken place without home grown help and encouragement.

So here. Take a look.

WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 27

I interviewed an American pizzeria owner from Virginia Beach last night, who’s offering customers a 15 per cent discount if they arrive carrying a gun.
He claimed he’s doing this to ‘protect my Second Amendment rights’ – but after further questioning, he revealed the real reason he thinks his fellow civilians should be armed to the teeth:

‘The United Nations may attack us.’

And yes, he really did believe this.

Not that very many people ever read this far down, but this blog was the creation of Allan Kelly and his friend Vilmar. Vilmar moved on to his own blog some time ago, and Allan ran this place alone until his sudden and unexpected death partway through 2006. We all miss him. A lot. Even though he is gone this site will always still be more than a little bit his. We who are left to carry on the BMEWS tradition owe him a great debt of gratitude, and we hope to be able to pay that back by following his last advice to us all:
  1. Keep a firm grasp of Right and Wrong
  2. Stay involved with government on every level and don't let those bastards get away with a thing
  3. Use every legal means to defend yourself in the event of real internal trouble, and, most importantly:
  4. Keep talking to each other, whether here or elsewhere

Oh, and here's some kind of visitor flag counter thingy. Hey, all the cool blogs have one, so I should too. The Visitors Online thingy up at the top doesn't count anything, but it looks neat. It had better, since I paid actual money for it.
