Two-fer From Taranto

This stuff is quite good.

First, in an Ashville, NC paper an asshat biological psychologist comments on state interference in the Terri Schiavo death.

He says this:

the frequency of persistent vegetative state in the United States is 64 to 140 per million people. Thus, somewhere between 538 and 1,176 North Carolinians are probably afflicted with this condition. At a cost of about $80,000 a year per person, this translates to an annual financial burden to the North Carolina health-care system of $43 million to $94 million - enough to hire between 1,500 and 3,500 additional public school teachers.

Y’all caught that right?  Knock off people who are in a PVS and hire more teachers!  A wonderful solution to our educational problem!!!  Kill off the disabled, the elderly, etc. and throw the money into a corrupt and worthless piece-of-shit educational system so that teachers can make more money for teaching even less (at least they won’t waste red ink!)

Incredible!!!

This next one is even better.

Maxine Waters, back in 2004, had this to say at an abortion rally:

“I have to march because my mother could not have an abortion.”

Well, that seems to put a different spin (and definition) on the term self-loathing.  Did she really mean she wishes her mother was able to have gotten an abortion, and by virtue of such, not birthed this cretinous bitch?  We should have been so lucky.

From The “Absolutely Redundant and Ridiculous” Department

Concerned that the youth of America do not have a liberal venue for their views on TV, Al “The Bore” Gore is launching a TV station for the 18-34 Y.O. crowd.

This was precious:

Gore, who narrowly lost the 2000 presidential election to George W. Bush, has publicly complained about the number of conservative voices dominating the airwaves.

Yet he insisted that Current will have no political agenda.

OK, I challenge all College Conservatives, Young Republicans, etc. to make submissions.  Then tell me what your success rate was at getting anything accepted.

As far as I am concerned, this will be a rousing success................a la “Air America.”

Great God, it will be so much fun to watch this go in the shitter, too!

England, Land Of Liberal Asshats

Like the US, England has laws currently on the books prohibiting criminals from voting.

Except now England wants to give ALL criminals the right to vote.

As said so succinctly by those protesting this move:

those excluded from society should not have a say over the way it is governed.

I could not agree more.

“one of the jobs of prisons is to make them better citizens.”

Somehow these moral relativist asshats and believers in some sort of “feel-good” nonsense seem to think this proposal will somehow make criminals decent people again.  What fools!  What lunacy!!!

Education News

Good Lord!  To say “education” and our school system in the same sentence is enough to cause cognitive dissonance nowadays.

But here we have it: the use of the color red in grading papers. I first wrote about this last August. My niece is a teacher. She confirmed it.  That story came from Mass-a-two-shits.  This one comes from Connecticut.  Both blue states.  Both liberal havens that love mind-fucking our young kids.

Just what the hell kind of kids are we raising when even colors terrorize them?  Will they be able to grow up and defend themselves in the job environment? Or will the northeast by the breeding grounds for future McDonald’s workers, lawn care guys, and cart-pushers at Wal-Mart?

Listen to this drivel: 

“It’s taken a turn from ‘Here’s what you need to improve on’ to ‘Here’s what you’ve done right,’” Powell said. “It’s not that we’re not pointing out mistakes, it’s just that the method in which it’s delivered is more positive.”

In other words, instead of using red and allowing the kid to know he or she screwed up on the test, we now use a different color to say the same thing?  Exactly what’s changed?  That now the kid will feel better about being a fuckup?  What pure bullshit and tripe.

Her students, she said, probably would tune out red because they are so used to it. So she grades with whatever color — turquoise blue, hot pink, lime green — appeals to them.

So that’s like saying, don’t whip me with that black cat o’ nine tails.  Use the blue one.  It hurts just as bad but the color appeals to me.

What am I missing here?

Meanwhile, in the Socialist Kingdom of England we have a change coming to their educational system where the lowest grade a student can receive is now a C.

Obviously there is something about British schools that I am missing here, too.  Hey, they have things like O levels and A levels.  Maybe our English friend can explain this to me.

The Border Patrol weenies are pissed off at our Minutemen. Seems they keep tripping the sensors put in the ground.

Too fucking bad.  If they won’t do their jobs, the Minutemen will.

Look for the liberal media (hell, let’s throw President Bush into the group, also) to use this as a justification for allowing illegals to stay in the US.

No????  Really???  Who’d Have Guessed?

Paris has slipped to number 8 of places people want to go to. First time ever.

“Experts” are saying it’s because people want to go elsewhere for their adventures.

I’d say the chickens have finally come home to roost.

French are notoriously arrogant and rude.  They look down their noses at anyone who does not speak perfect French.

I guess people got tired of that attitude and are going to where they are better treated.

Hey, when you have L.A., Thailand, and South Africa AHEAD of Paris it sure looks like tourists would rather take their chances with (look closely now) gang wars, drugs, shootings, assaults, racial violence and tsunamis then the pissant French.

It serves them right.  My memories of France are of rude people, small cars, dog shit on the sidewalks, and a nice shady area they made for the German soldiers in WW II.

The Inherent Agenda of The Liberal Media

While Terri Schiavo was dying I kept hearing poll result after poll result saying a majority of Americans wanted to let her die.

I was appalled.

Then news trickled in about how blissfully ignorant so many Americans were to the story behind Terri’s situation.  About the possible abuses, about the refusal by her husband to give her a swallow test, about his prohibiting her from getting an MRI, about how the doctors and judges were from a cult of death going back years.

No w it turns out that Americans answered the way they did because of the way the questions were asked.

Go ahead.  Read this. And then get really pissed off.

Well, The SecWar Is Gone

So now what?

Hmmmm.......

I think it is time to name an interim SecWar to keep Barking Moonbats at bay.

I need some candidates.  So please, via the comments, submit your CVs detailing why you should be Interim SecWar at BMEWS. 

In order to minimize the impact of being the first and having your “vitals” copied, all applicants are welcome to modify/add to their CVs as the day progresses.

Selection will be made Wednesday.

Power transfer is immediate and you will be expected to act as a SecWar, not some bleeding heart panty-waist.  Therefore that will require monitoring of posts and comments to slap down moonbats and other assorted asshats.
