Evening Snacks

bat Pope John Paul II is now a comic-book superhero. Rocky and Bullwinkle retire.

bat Congress votes to extend Daylight Savings Time, reject plan to reduce energy dependency. Why do you think they call it CON-gress? It’s the opposite of PRO-gress.

bat Cookie Monster going on cookie diet to help kids. Now eats only carrots, cabbage, cauliflower and other crap.

bat The UN finally paid their $90k back rent to the Congo. Eviction papers withdrawn. Bad mistake.

bat SmellyTV has finally been developed. Now, in addition to plots that stink you can smell the actor’s socks too.

Apologies

I apologize for the recent outage, although brief. We were experiencing technical difficulties and encountered a number of issues that needed an immediate resolution among the blog staff. Those issues have been resolved. Carry on.

For Ladies Only

And for you “men” (I use the term loosely) who happen to be so inclined:

I give you the new James Bond.

Frankly, I am not impressed.  A dog who’s ass was shaved and made to walk backwards would be better looking.

So ladies, what say you?

From The Blindingly Obvious Dept.

Not only is this proposal one that fits into the “it’s so blindingly obvious you’d need nuclear-blast type sunglasses to keep from losing your eyesight” but it is too little, too late, I am afraid from the leader of a world body that no longer has any credibility.

You’re going to love this: the Koffing Anus at the UN is telling the world that UN credibility is being hurt by the conduct of the UN Human Rights Commission.

Ya’ think, Kofi?  Really!?!?!

With countries like Libya being put in charge?  With countries like Syria, the Sudan and Zimabawe on the commission?  You think there just MIGHT be any correlation?

You piece of crap.  You vile, disgusting worm-like creature pretending to be a human being interested in the welfare of those less fortunate around the globe.  Why don’t you just kill yourself and spare us any more of your tortured anguishes and agonizings.

Like Rubbing Salt Into The Wound

Imagine yourself in Iraq right now.  Further imagine yourself being one of Saddam’s guards.

Now, just think of the warm, tingling feeling you’d get from knowing that it had to piss him off to no end to watch as a KURD got elected president of Iraq!

They ought to make him watch it 24/7 and videotape his reaction.

And then broadcast the film to the Iraqi public.

Oh, I forgot, the UN Human Rights commission would have its panties in a wad at this flagrant abuse of human rights.

I Wonder Why?

Of course, this could come from no other group than the Urban League. They say Blacks lag behind Whites

in economic status, health and education and are in danger of “a great backslide” from the gains made since the civil rights movement began

Gee, I wonder?  Can it be from having embraced a cult of victimology?  From having listened to alleged Black “leaders” who misled them for decades?  Could it be due to a culture of “gimme, gimme, gimme and don’t expect me to do anything for it?” Could it be that Black males are responsible for several times more crimes than whites on a proportional basis?  Could it be that kids don’t have fathers and that those fathers think its cool to knock up women and desert them?

Could it?

If the Urban League would spend as much time breaking this cycle of dependency as they do bemoaning how “unfair” Whitey is, then maybe we could see real progress.

Sorry, the Black community will not listen to a White man tell them what needs to be done.  The Black community needs about 10,000 more Bill Cosbys.

Who Sends Their Kids To Private Schools?

This comes from our local rag here in St. Pete. It’s quite an eye opener.  Frankly I am amazed they published it.

You know how the dummycraps are always saying we shouldn’t have vouchers?  How we need to “invest” more money in education?  That teachers need to be paid more?  That we shouldn’t have testing of either children or teachers?

Well, the SP Times did a survey and this is what they found:

Democrats with school-age children were more likely than Republicans - 44 percent to 37 percent - to have their children in private schools.

That’s 16% MORE Democrats than Republicans use private schools!!!

I wonder how long it will take for the local moonbats to DEFEND this behavior?  Oh, yeah, they’ll find a way to cover the asses of their favorite donkeys, that’s for sure.

Lawmakers’ children who are in public schools are more likely to be enrolled in A-rated schools than the population at large, 59 percent to 46 percent.

Really?  I wonder why?

Oh, and get this:

The Times survey shows a 60 percent private school rate among members serving on the Senate education and education appropriations committees.

What does THAT tell you?

Go ahead, read the rest.

Minutemen News

Great news!  So far 141 of the scumbags have been caught.

Not only that but now New Mexico wants to do the same thing.

Ain’t it wonderful?

And I think we may have found a Presidential candidate in City Councilman David Pfeffer who said:

“I would be willing to get involved with an effort along New Mexico’s borders,” Pfeffer said.

As for carrying a weapon, Pfeffer said he “wouldn’t go out there unarmed.”

Click here for a first person account from a Vietnam vet as to why he’s doing this.

President Bush called us “vigilantes.” That just means “vigilant ones.” It doesn’t mean hate, KKK or white supremacy.
It just means “vigilance.”

I will not be disarmed and made helpless like the “world citizens” of Europe, England, Canada and Australia.
I am not a “citizen of the world.”

I am an American.

BRAVO!!!!

But all is not peaches and cream out there, though.  Some Arizona residents are not happy with what’s going on.

In Bisbee, a haven for “artistes” and other assorted moonbat leftists, there is a café owner who says:

“I had a Salvadoran work for me for six months, and it’s not uncommon for people here to drive a migrant north in their car rather than hand them over to the U.S. Border Patrol,” said cafe owner Charles Lewis.

Having admitted that you think thr Border Patrol or INS will do anything to monitor this dirtball?

This is the sort of mentality we are dealing with in America:

“I’d rather take my chances with the Mexicans than one of these U.S. military type idiots taking part in the patrols.”

When we have asshats like this, then can we ever hope to do something about illegals?  This bleeding heart nonsense upsets me to no end.

Thank God there are some with their heads screwed on straight:

Arcangelo Coco says he applauds the group of volunteers who have come into the area with their brand of frontier justice.

“I support the Minutemen, and if I see them I’ll shake their hand,” Coco said, adding that they are not “gunslingers” but are just “out to defend themselves.”

International Snippets And Bits

International Snippets And Bits

bat The dead just keep on turning up---in Berlin---from 60 years ago.

German and Russian soldiers who died in a battle during WW II were found outside Seelow, Germany.

They expect to find thousands more.

bat Imagine that!  The French are good for something! If only the rest of the country were worth a crap!

bat In more French news, Amnesty International has its knickers in a twist because they think:

The French government ministers, judges and senior police officers are allowing members of the police force to use excessive and sometimes lethal force against suspects of Arab and African origin without fear of serious repercussions

Like.........we care?

I know, two article that display the French is somewhat of a positive light---in one day.  Gotta be a first for BMEWS.

The article goes on to say:

The number of fatal shootings by police officers or gendarmes, in disputed circumstances, has declined in recent years, but complaints of ill-treatment have increased. Complaints about police conduct increased by 18.5 per cent in 2004.

Come on!  Really!  Give me a major league break here!  Considering how people whine about the littlest thing nowadays and considering these sheetheads are getting wise to the western judicial system that penalizes the white majority no matter if it is guilty or not, should we be surprised that complaints go up?  The ragheads KNOW they’ll get attention f they complain.

Amnesty International needs to go the way of the dodo bird.  Soon.

bat The Spanish are no slouches, too, when it comes to phenomenal stuff.

If only they weren’t a bunch of yellow bellies when it comes to terrorism.

bat Speaking of the Spanish, remember that bombing in Madrid by terrorists?

You know the Spanish judicial system solution for the detainees?  Turn them loose and ask them to come back once a week.

Yeah!  Right!  Sure they will.

But don’t hold your breath, judge.

Hat Tip: Phil

Why Is Education So Expensive?

Can it be that our school systems are spending too much money on issues NOT related to education?

Like in New York where immigrants are demanding translators be provided for them so they can understand what is going on?

Why don’t these morons get their own translators?

And, of course, New York’s City Council will bow to that demand because----hey! It’s not THEIR money, is it?

DeLay In Deep Doo-Doo

For months now I’ve been following this story but only on the periphery.

It now appears as if our little pal Delay has been up to no good.  From what I’ve read, he knew better.  He should not have gone on those trips.

He should not have accepted all that money. No matter how you look at what services they provided, this is an incredible amount of money.

This is bad.

I wonder if the Republicans will be as eager to throw him to the wolves as they were with Trent Lott?

Better yet, will there be anyone within the ranks of the party attempting to do the same thing to the other side?  I’m sure there are no lack of Dummycraps doing the same thing Delay did.

Or will the Republicans once more fall back on the mantra, “it’s not how we operate. Republicans don’t go on witch hunts...yada...yada....yada”

Then again, it could be nothing more than a media feeding frenzy and witch hunt.

Not that very many people ever read this far down, but this blog was the creation of Allan Kelly and his friend Vilmar. Vilmar moved on to his own blog some time ago, and Allan ran this place alone until his sudden and unexpected death partway through 2006. We all miss him. A lot. Even though he is gone this site will always still be more than a little bit his. We who are left to carry on the BMEWS tradition owe him a great debt of gratitude, and we hope to be able to pay that back by following his last advice to us all:
  1. Keep a firm grasp of Right and Wrong
  2. Stay involved with government on every level and don't let those bastards get away with a thing
  3. Use every legal means to defend yourself in the event of real internal trouble, and, most importantly:
  4. Keep talking to each other, whether here or elsewhere
