On The Road Again

Where is the BMEWS Secretary Of War? By the time you read this, I will have been on the road for several hours. Before I reach my destination I will have have traversed six interstate highways on the way to my new home. Several people have guessed at the final destination. Only one has come close.

A Bat Bites Back

Providing continuing proof that some people just do not pay attention in science, health, and “life” classes, we have a marketing major at a college who finds a bat wedged under a classroom door.

What’s the first thing a normal person would do?

1.  kill the bat by stomping on it
2.  kill the bat by closing the door
3.  call animal control

Normal people would not get down to the bat’s level and try and move it.  Normal people, had they NOT killed it outright, would have called animal control.

Why?  Because bats carry RABIES!!

Our dumbass pal probably never paid attention to the thousands of ads, commercials, programs, etc. on TV telling people about rabies, either.

So now he’s undergoing rabies shots.

At taxpayer expense, more than likely.

If I was at that school I’d make sure that everyone who came near him would, from now on, before he came close enough to touch, hold up a little cross, carry some garlic to hold up in his face, and ask him if he’s had his rabies shots yet.  The garlic and the cross?  In case he’s gone vampire. Hehehehe

What Happens When You Live A Sheltered Life?

I found something yesterday on Mike King’s site.  It was a link that even now I have no idea why I clicked on it. I got sent here. It’s some kid caught on webcam doing this “numa numa” song.

WTF,O?  I never heard of the Numa Numa Song before yesterday.  See what I mean about living a sheltered life?

Anyway, I went backwards on the link to the main page.

After almost an hour of watching some of the funniest crap I’ve seen in a long time (and a testimony to the power of the web to demonstrate how stupid some people can be) I found the original video clip unedited. Here.

Warning, you can waste a lot of time here but in the end you will come to the conclusion that we have some pretty stupid people on this planet.

Which then begs another question?  How stupid were we for having spent so much time doing so?

Oh, and this is for Nefarious Ferret:  if you click here you will see what happens at the Air Force Academy.  Think about it---when you get out this guy COULD be your commander!!!  I’m glad I retired already.

Democrats, Illegal Aliens And Voter Fraud

Arizona, home of this month’s Minutemen action, has a governor who’s a real piece of work (STRIKE!!!!!) shit.  She vetoed legislation requiring ID in order to vote.

Why?

She said that “could result in properly registered Arizona citizens being denied the right to vote.”

WTF?!?!?!?  If you show up to vote and don’t have ID you should be sent home with a big sign on your back saying, “I’m stupid. I’m also not fit to be a good citizen.”

Someone please explain to me why it is a violation of someone’s rights to demand identification for something as important as voting.  How many times have you been asked for ID just to cash a $10 check?  And voting is LESS important than that?

What the hell is it with Dummycraps and their desire to sell our country out to crooks, criminals, illegals, and frauds?  What vile pieces of shit these people are.  Damn it, I am mad!

Let’s hope the legislators of Arizona have the balls to over-ride her veto.  But I suspect they are all a bunch of eunuchs.

Illegals News

Somebody is listening, at least.  And to think it’s going on in California!!! 

Yep!  That’s right!  Orange County, California is now spending money to train its deputies in immigration laws.

Now, let’s hope they don’t train them to give illegals more rights than legal immigrants and we’ll be OK.

Meanwhile, the Los Angeles Police Department is working to revise its policy to allow officers to arrest illegal immigrants, changing a 1979 policy that restricted officers from asking a person’s immigration status. The policy was designed to encourage people to cooperate with police without fear of deportation.

Go ahead.  Re-read the above.  If ever there was an example of misguided and misdirected actions, its this politically correct bullshit about not asking someone for ID in order to get them to feel more “comfy” about sharing info with the law. 

Please, please, let’s bring back torture chambers and make these bastards talk about the mules, the gangs, the drugs, those that hire them, etc.

Don’t like your social security number?  Want a new one?  Go online and buy one!!!

Of course, the INS and the SSA administration will do nothing to stop this sort of abuse, either.  It could alienate some people and deprive them of basic human rights...........to fraudulent social security numbers.

An easy problem to fix----but an impossible outcome to hope for given the congress critters we have in office.

Wait until this technology grabs hold.

For couch potatoes---you no longer need to even press buttons on the remote.  Just talk into the damned thing. Soon it’ll order your pizza and beer, fatso!

If that weren’t bad enough, they now have IPods where you can change the songs by simply nodding your head. Better not be dancing or you’ll be in a world of hurt.

Greedy bitch.  That’s all there is to it.  A man and woman decide to divorce.  She gets half in a settlement but just short of the court finalizing the divorce he croaks.

She goes to court trying to nullify the divorce in order to keep everything,

Some time ago there was a story about Mark Thatcher (son of Margaret) getting involved in rather nefarious activities in Africa.  Something about a coup in New Guinea.  Well, Marky boy wanted a visa to come to the US.

No way.

Colorado is doing what Florida should be doing....getting the retards out of the left hand lane.

If there’s one thing I can’t stand is some dumb son of a bitch blocking the left lane.  If he or she is doing under the speed limit it really drives me bat-shit.  That’s when I start laying on the horn and using “sign language.”

Stupid fucks act like they own the road.  When I took my driving lessons the book specifically mentioned that left hand lanes must stay clear and be used only for passing.

Apparently it’s not the same book used down here.

Then again, it could be like lots of the laws in the books---there only for decoration.  No one enforces them.

Maybe a few drivers some sub-machine guns strafing the roadways would get the attention of law enforcement.

Hell, it seems to be working with the INS!

The Swedish government recently reduced work-out sessions for prisoners.  I guess they were getting too bulked up.

How do they respond?  They go on a hunger strike.

Good!  Let them starve to death.  I hope no one will put feeding tubes in them.  They did, after all, decide to die this way.

Surely the leftists can agree to that, right?  It’s the prisoner’s right to choose his manner of death and deny extraordinary measures to keep them alive.

But I will bet you $10 to a donut the left will scream they need to be put on life support since prisoners have more rights than Terri Schiavo.  Any takers?

We Have Clinton To Thank For This

Kids are now going around saying oral sex is “safe” and that it is not considered “sex” at all.

WTF?!?!?! 

Is this going to be Clinton’s legacy?  Sitting around discussing what “is” is and engaging in banter about what defines “sex.”

All I can say is “BLOW ME!!”

If it is not sex then why do we call it “oral sex?”

Next thing you know someone will try and convince me that “gay” no longer means “happy” but a “homosexual.” Or that a “partner” is not someone you have business relations with but someone you engage in playing “hide the salami in the hershey highway” with or someone you practice your “carpet munching skills” with.

This Is Serious Stuff

I found this on Michelle Malkin’s site. It deals with a HUGE scandal going on in Canada.

Why should we care, right?  It’s only Canada, after all.  It does not matter to us too much (although there are very nice people there, right Dan?)

But if you read the links Michelle provides you will see that there are SERIOUS implications for bloggers.

Captain Ed, at Captain’s Quarters, is right in the thick of it.

Take the time to follow them, follow the story, and understand the seriousness of what is going on relative to freedoms of the press, the internet, and bloggers.  We’re talking international implications regarding freedom of speech and who can link to whom (and who goes to jail for having done so.)

You should first go though Michelle’s postings and her quotes.  Then go read the other stuff.

Before We Begin Today

With our beloved SecWar out for several weeks (save an occasional guest appearance) it will be my responsibility to guide you through the maze of news, idiocy, buffoonery, and outrageousness that exists out there.

It goes without saying that in an attempt to maintain the high standards you are used to, I will be busier than a one-legged man in an ass kicking contest.

With that caveat out there, I will warn you ahead of time that I could get testy. (not sure what that means?  Ask Oink or OCM.  They’ll tell you.) I also might not have time to respond to comments.  Additionally, readers love to send me links, ideas, essays, attachments, etc.  Please DO continue that but do not get offended if I do not answer you or acknowledge receipt.  I’m not being rude.  I just ran out of time.  Also, for you new readers out there, don’t even bother sending attachments to me unless you:  1.) register first AND 2.) send me a plain text email FIRST telling me you are about to send an attachment.  No text email?  Well, that’s easy!!  The second and subsequent go straight to the rubbish bin.

Important Announcement!

What: Blogging by Allan, the BMEWS Secretary Of War will be light for the next few weeks. Posts by Allan will be infrequent but will contain their usual incisive commentary. Vilmar is going to have to handle the major share of the blog probably until the first of May. Please be gentle with him and if he starts any crap behind my back let me know. There will be no palace coups while I am away. Our Benevolent Dictator has been warned that the BMEWS Armed Forces remain under my control and I have the only keys to the missile silos. Treat Vilmar with respect (well, as much as you can). I will be watching all of you. Especially Oink and OldCatMan.

Why: Plain and simple, my employment contract here in Alabama was terminated back at the first of February. I will explain in more detail the circumstances at a later date. Needless to say, it was rather ugly and I am still quite angry at a certain company which will be revealed in due time. For the last two months, I have been looking for work which is, in itself, a full time job. I have flown out and interviewed in nearly a dozen states including: Florida, Georgia, Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, DC, West Virginia, Pennsylvania, Missouri, Illinois, Utah, Colorado, Arizona and Idaho. As you can see, I have visited states where several of you live and work. My airline miles have grown tremendously. I apologize for not getting in touch with any of you during my travels. Most of the visits were of short duration purely for interviews and discussions with hiring managers. The result of all this travel is that I have accepted a position in another state. Out of eleven offer letters, I finally made a decision last week. I will be leaving tomorrow to journey to my new location and start shopping for housing. Start work date is next Monday, April 11.

Where: That is for me to know and for you to find out. During the next few weeks, you may amuse yourselves guessing where I am hiding. Let’s see how good you folks are at sleuthing. I will drop hints every now and then to help you along. Here is your first hint ........ Out of the states named above, I will be moving to one where a BMEWS member currently resides.

Let the detective games begin .... be on the lookout for a dashingly handsome, highly intelligent, suave, debonair, ultra-cool, sophisticated intellectual .... if you see that person, it ain’t me! Hehehehehe ....
