A Nice Series

I subbed for the Wednesday night league last night. A whole sea of familiar faces; I know just about everyone on that league. As a sub, I didn’t have to pay. And while I was out to bowl my best, I really was just filling in for someone else’s team. So there was no pressure at all on me, which left me free to concentrate on putting the ball down exactly the same every throw in exactly the same spot. And paying better attention to the changing conditions. I got some good advice from one of the guys on the team I subbed for Monday: put some pressure in my fingertips so the ball would snap more strongly off my hand. And he was right.

I threw a 652 series. 223, 225, 204. On my 185 book average. So I gave my temporary teammates nearly 100 pins. They were happy. I was happy too; I’ve only thrown a better series than this two or three times ever. So maybe I’m learning, finally.

still buzzing

Mr. Busy Bee, that’s me.

Doing all the things that need doing today. I’m also bowling nearly every day this week. Practiced a bit Sunday afternoon, got asked to be a substitute Monday, Greed League on Tuesday, subbing tonight for another league, Fun League on Friday. You’d think I’d be getting better; “practice makes perfect” it’s said. But like most things everybody knows, that’s wrong. Practice makes persistent. Not better, just habitual.  OTOH, I’ve rolled 2 games above 200 for every 3 that I’ve played since last week. Unfortunately the 3rd one has usually been a stinker, so my average hasn’t changed a jot.

Down to the auto parts store now; have to get those spark plug wires. Meh, I was hoping I’d get off cheap with just replacing the plugs, but I kind of figured it was the wires. Oh well. Not unexpected.

And away I go ...

Oh hey, did you see this one? Jeweler in France gets robbed, another one of those motorcycle snatch ‘n grab crimes so prevalent in Europe. So he kills the guy. And the gendarme arrest him. And now France is in an uproar. How dare anyone consider it a crime to use deadly force in defense of yourself and your property?!? Mon dieu.

Outrage in France after jeweler charged for killing thief

Outrage is growing in France over the decision to bring voluntary homicide charges against a jeweler who shot and killed an escaping robber, but the country’s top security official on Tuesday urged fearful storekeepers to let justice take its course.

The 67-year-old jeweler, Stephan Turk, was confined at home with an electronic bracelet after the shooting last week that left a teenage robber dead in the street outside Turk’s jewelry story in the French Riviera city of Nice. An accomplice escaped on a motorbike as the body lay in the street.

In a country where gun violence is rare but armed robbery is increasingly common, the shooting—and the formal charges of voluntary homicide—have placed the government in a difficult position.

“Even when faced with the unbearable, we have to let justice prevail,” Interior Minister Manuel Valls said Tuesday in Nice, where he was sent by the president a day after a protest by hundreds of Turk’s supporters.

Jewelers in southern France say they’re being targeted as never before and lack the resources to protect themselves.

“It was a difficult situation. I don’t know how I would have reacted myself. I don’t endorse what he did, but he had been beaten and threatened with death,” Yan Turk, the son of the jeweler, told the Nice Matin paper. “We’ve had it with being targeted by robbers.”

Good for France.

idiot judge orders moment of silence for dead gang member. what next?

Insomnia at 3am ... pills not working ... so booted to see what’s what and found this.
There is NO way to ignore the suck up stupidity of the action by yet another idiot, accommodating and appeasing judge.

Some background for you readers briefly.

You will recall the riots that burned cities here in recent years.  The excuse used was the shooting by police of a black gang member who it was thought, was reaching for a weapon inside a car he was riding in.  It turned out there were indeed guns in the car, but a question as to whether the negro was actually going for a gun or had one in hand.  When a cop has to make a quick life and death decision, seconds count.  Fact ... there were weapons in the car.

So now there another inquiry into the shooting.  When a black is shot or killed by cops in line of duty, the inquests hardly ever end.  They go on and on because of course as everybody knows ... there isn’t any such animal as a guilty black person. Only guilty and racist cops.

That now brigs us to this latest inquest in which the judge .....

Orders moment of silence for ‘notorious gangster’ whose shooting death by police marksman sparked wave of riots: Unprecedented move at start of Mark Duggan’s inquest

Do you understand now why I claim this place is DOOMED?  Anyone disagree?  Have your say.

Judge takes unprecedented decision to hold a moment’s silence for Mark Duggan at start of inquest into his shooting by police

The 29-year-old was shot twice by police marksman in Tottenham, London

His death sparked the 2011 London riots

Judge Keith Cutler asked everyone inside the courtroom to fall silent

The request is understood to have been made by Duggan’s family

Decision to hold a silence at an inquest is virtually unprecedented

The inquest at the Royal Courts of Justice is expected to last two months

By ARTHUR MARTIN

image

A judge took the highly unusual step of leading his court in a moment’s silence to commemorate Mark Duggan, the alleged gangster whose death sparked the 2011 riots which scarred Britain.

Judge Keith Cutler, sitting at Duggan’s inquest, asked everyone inside the courtroom to fall silent and to acknowledge the ‘regrettable loss of a young life’.

Later the inquest heard Duggan was a member of one of Britain’s most notorious gangs and was shot by a police marksman who believed the suspect was about to fire a revolver in a crowded street.

Judge Cutler, sitting as a coroner at the High Court, led the 20-second silence by lowering his head and clasping his hands together.

Addressing the jury, he said: ‘It is right that you should know that present in court today are a number of Mark Duggan’s family and friends and to acknowledge the grief of those family and friends and to respect that loss we will together just have some moments of silence as we sit here to recognise the seriousness of the hearing for which we are about to undertake.’

The request for a moment’s silence was understood to have been made by Duggan’s family and supporters.

Inquests, by their nature, involve the passing of a loved one, but are not generally used to commemorate someone’s death.

The decision to hold a period of silence at the start of an inquest is virtually unprecedented.

this would not be a family you’d complain to about loud music or a barking dog. well, maybe once.

Ok I know crime and violent crime isn’t restricted to just a few countries. We just naturally hear about bad thing in our own back yard and here in the UK.  Don’t go looking for crime in other places. Nuff here to worry about.
And then, along comes a thoroughly bizarre and sickening story.

From Russia, and it ain’t with love.  Take a look at this and read the article. They all deserve the DP if Russia still uses it.
Burning at a stake would be nice too.

image

She even murdered her god daughter and her friend, took out their eyes.  A quick death would be too good for these monsters.

RUSSIAN VERSION MA BARKER ?

Family had a ‘comfortable’ home but travelled for miles to carry out crimes
Boy, 7, was shot in the head while his sister was stabbed 37 times
Two teenage girls had their eyes gouged out in horrific torture routine
Six policemen were among murder victims of six-year-crime spree
Mother Inessa Tarverdiyeva demonstrated how she gunned down victims

By Will Stewart

A family in Russia are behind a six-year reign of terror including at least 30 murders and countless robberies, say police.

Former nursery teacher Inessa Tarverdiyeva, 46, and her second husband Roman Podkopaev, 35, a qualified dentist, were involved in the spate of ruthless serial killings.

Tarverdiyeva’s daughter from her first marriage Viktoria Tarverdiyeva, 25 and her 13-year-old daughter Anastasiya ‘actively took part in all crimes’, say police in the Rostov region.

Podkopaev died in a shootout with police when the middle class killers were finally arrested, and Viktoria was seriously wounded.

Six policemen were among their murder victims in a family crime spree which began in earnest six years ago though some offences go back to 1998.

They saw murder and robbery like ‘going to the office for a day’s work’, claimed Inessa who also confessed to hating police saying: ‘I am a gangster by nature.’

Killing was a ‘means of earning money’, she said, before demonstrating to police how she used a gun to kill her victims.

In one 2009 murder, the gang murdered paratrooper Dmitry Chudakov, his wife Irina and son Sasha, 7, with a semi-automatic weapon before daughter Veronika, 11, was knifed 37 times.

‘It was not me who killed the children. My husband shot them,’ claimed Inessa, who confessed to gunning adults to death.

On another occasion the gang tortured and killed two teenage girls, gouging out their eyes. One is believed to have been Inessa’s goddaughter.

The former teacher allegedly robbed the girl’s house because she knew her father was a passionate hunter and kept hunting guns at home.

She reportedly hid inside the house with with her gang waiting for the girl’s parents to return. But her goddaughter and her friend walked in and were killed.

The gang used camping trips - which seemed like family holidays - as a pretext for their murderous activities.

The group were finally arrested after a robbery on the home of a former military officer in Baklanova Street, Aksai, in Rostov region.

As well as killing an unnamed husband and wife, they stole alcohol and candles - as well as chicken drumsticks from the fridge - after finding no money.

Podkopaev and his adopted daughter Viktoria tried to escape on a scooter but minutes after leaving the crime scene they were stopped for an ID check by police.

When they asked for his documents he pulled out his weapon and opened fire.

A second police car came to assist but not before patrolman and father-of-one Ivan Shakhovoi was gunned down.

another inconvenient truth

FBI: Um, Sorry, Navy Yard Shooter Did NOT Use AR-15

Remember this, when in a week or two the story changes. No AR-15 used here. Or in Newton, probably; I’m never going to accept that BS 180° about-face.

Facts? We don’t need no steenkin facts!

image

Piers Morgan and his apoplectic rants notwithstanding, it seems that the FBI has let a small cat out of the bag o’ lies. No AR-15. One shotgun, legally purchased. Several handguns, possibly pick ups from those he shot.

And no Piers, it wasn’t an AR-15 shotgun either.  rolleyes

… federal law enforcement sources told CNN Tuesday that authorities have recovered three weapons from the scene of the mass shooting, including one—a shotgun—that investigators believe Alexis brought in to the compound. The other two weapons, which sources say were handguns, may have been taken from guards at the Navy complex.

The sources, who have detailed knowledge of the investigation, cautioned that initial information that an AR-15 was used in the shootings may have been incorrect.

“may have”. You sniveling little waffle wiener. It either WAS, or it WAS NOT. Right. Wrong. No “may have”. Yes. No. Pick. One.

http://townhall.com/tipsheet/katiepavlich/2013/09/17/cnn-ar15-was-not-used-in-navy-yard-shooting-n1702425

http://twitchy.com/2013/09/17/gun-grabbing-medias-narrative-crumbles-navy-yard-shooting-suspect-reportedly-not-armed-with-ar-15/

http://www.mediaite.com/online/ny-daily-news-splashes-ar-15-across-navy-yard-shooting-cover/

http://www.ijreview.com/2013/01/30208-nbc-admits-no-assault-rifle-used-in-newtown-shooting/

And of course, the left wing diarrhea from Mike Lucia in the NY Daily News, “AR-15 is the rifle for the ‘sport’ of hunting humans”. Because, you know, panicking witnesses can tell a rifle from a shotgun as they’re blindly running away, and because Lanza [Newton shooting] couldn’t possibly shoot a semi-automatic handgun as fast as a semi-automatic rifle, and hit all those kids from 2 feet away and kill them. Because pistols are just movie props, right?

So when you hear Oblahblah going on again for more gun control, whining how “we had 90% of the people”, let’s ban evil Assault Rifles, you’ll know it’s just more opportunistic nonsense. As if you didn’t already know that. Once again, we’ve got a case of crazy people with guns. And another case of crazy legislators shooting their mouths off from the hip before the bleeding even stops.

Shot Down In Flames

You Make ONE Little Mistake ...

image via Insty A new high school level textbook designed to prepare students for the Advanced Placement exam, may be chock full of revisionist leftist slant. I don’t know; I haven’t read the thing. But it does contain at least this one major error, restating the Second Amendment in the classic, classically WRONG, far Left manner. Even though that view was never supported by most citizens, and was shot down by SCOTUS a couple years back. I think people are getting damned fed up with the indoctrination, and they’re pushing back. Finally.

At Amazon the tome is getting savaged, garnering hundreds and hundreds of negative reactions. Good. I wonder how many it will take before they pull this POS off their digital shelves?

This text is designed for a one-semester or one-year United States history course for students preparing to take the AP U.S. History Exam. Teachers can assign the book as the course textbook or as a supplement to a college-level textbook. U.S. History: Preparing for the Advanced Placement Examination presents the history of the United States from pre-Columbian times to the Obama administration. It follows the curriculum put out by the College Board for this course of study. Thirty chapters, each covering a different time period. Each chapter begins with an historical quote. Then each chapter narration is divided into sections and subsections by three levels of heads. Each chapter then has an “Historical Perspectives” (historiography) essay on some topic related to the chapter. This is followed by a list of key names, events, and terms from the chapter. Each chapter ends with a set of multiple-choice questions, a set of essay questions, and a set of questions related to a group of documents. In some chapters, this last set of questions is called a Document-Based Question (DBQ). Five of the text’s chapters have a special feature on how to write DBQs. The instruction is sequential, from one feature to the next. Students can gain additional experience by completing the Practice Exam at the back of the book.

Yadda, yadda, yah ... want to bet the entire thing is nothing but Black Armband History? Oooh, dem eviil Dead White Men done come over and mess up everything! ‘Merika all wrong, all bad, da big lie, and worse!

Burn it.

miss america, eye candy and a real goddess all in one beauty

I do not follow this sort of thing. No real interest.  And now that I’m away from home of course this sort of thing is hardly ever reported anyway.
This made the news because of her background.  Her folks are from India, so ppl are all kinds of happy because it’s said look, Miss America is Indian and it’s a first.
Well, she is a straight ‘A’ nerd type person and was born and raised in the USA and speaks better than I do.
Her background may be of Indian extraction but she’s as American as Chocolate Cake.  (I never cared much for apple pie)

So anyway, she made the news for another reason as well which is why I caught it without looking for it.

Seems a number of jerks out there wrote that she is no American cos her color is all wrong and they claim, she isn’t American, she’s Indian. WTH is it with that?

What I see here is a Goddess, a very bright young woman and I wish her well.

A Visit To The Dark Side

image

Welsh actress Eve Myles. Currently starring in Frankie a BBC drama about a Welsh nurse with a Scottish boss who visits patients in England. For all I know, it’s a sitcom, a new version of the old classic Lost In Translation.
Prior to that she played 4 seasons in Torchwood, flashing those amazing big green eyes and saving the world every week.

I know, I know: she’s not a redhead. Not a ginger. Nowhere close to being a blonde. Nor is she just 20, or a skinny mini. But she does have freckles. Call this one a visit to the dark side I guess.

Such A Buddhist

Navy Yard Shooter: We Don’t Know Why He Did It

Cops Seek Motive After 12 Dead 3 Wounded

Dems/MSM Immediately Call For More Gun Control

image

Aaron Alexis, the Navy vet suspected in the killing of 12 people at Washington’s Navy Yard, had a troubled past that included two previous arrests involving shootings and a “history of misconduct” in the Navy.

Alexis, who friends described as a convert to Buddhism, was arrested in Fort Worth in 2010 after firing a gun into his neighbor’s apartment, leaving her “terrified,” according to a police report.

In addition, he was arrested in 2004 in Seattle for shooting out the tires of a construction worker’s car in an incident he later described as “an anger-fueled blackout.”

Investigators are turning their attention early Tuesday to the question of why Navy veteran Aaron Alexis killed 12 people at a Navy building in Washington Monday morning.

Alexis, 34, who was discharged from the Navy two years ago after serving hitches in Texas and Illinois, sprayed bullets from the fourth floor down to the cafeteria area in the Naval Sea Systems Command headquarters in southeast Washington in an attack that began just after 8 a.m. Alexis died later as he traded shots with responding police, although it was unclear if he killed himself or was brought down by cops.

At a late night news conference Monday, Metropolitan Police Chief Cathy Lanier said she was confident that Alexis was the “single and sole person responsible” despite earlier reports of a possible second shooter.

Gray said those killed ranged in age from 46 to 73. Eight others were injured — three by gunshots and the other five by non-shooting causes like stress and falls.

Late Monday night, D.C. police identified seven of the 12 victims: Michael Arnold, 59; Sylvia Frasier, 53; Kathy Gaarde, 62; John Roger Johnson, 73; Frank Kohler, 50; Kenneth Bernard Proctor, 46; and Vishnu Pandit, 61.

Two federal officials who spoke on the condition of anonymity told The Associated Press that Alexis had an AR-15 assault rifle, a shotgun and a handgun that he took from a police officer at the scene.

Just hours after the deadly shooting rampage at the Washington Navy Yard, gun control advocates tried to reignite the national debate over gun laws that had only just subsided.

Sen. Dianne Feinstein, California Democrat and a longtime gun control advocate, denounced “the litany of massacres” over the past few years and asked rhetorically, “When will enough be enough?”

Mrs. Feinstein, who was first thrust into the national spotlight as president of the San Francisco Board of Supervisors announcing the shooting deaths of Mayor George Moscone and Supervisor Harvey Milk, said, “Congress must stop shirking its responsibility and resume a thoughtful debate on gun violence in this country. We must do more to stop this endless loss of life.”

Authorities investigating Monday’s D.C. shooting spree believe the gunman brought a shotgun, legally purchased from a suburban Virginia gun shop, to the Navy Yard and acquired additional weapons at the scene, according to three law enforcement officials.

The officials said Aaron Alexis of Fort Worth, Texas, a 34-year-old discharged Navy engineer, entered the building with a Remington 870 12-gauge shotgun that he’d purchased last week in Lorton, Va., and was later found with two additional weapons, a Glock handgun and an AR-15 semiautomatic rifle.

Back ‘er up Achmed!

Talk about things going in circles. Or going backwards.

Syria has moved 20 trucks worth of equipment and material used for the manufacturing of chemical weapons into neighboring Iraq, the Lebanese daily Al-Mustaqbal reported on Sunday.

The government in Baghdad has denied allegations that it is helping the Syrian government conceal chemical stockpiles.

The report came just a day after the United States and Russia struck a deal stipulating that Syrian President Bashar Assad’s regime would destroy its chemical arsenal to avert an American military assault.

The newspaper reported that the trucks crossed the boundary separating Syria with Iraq over the course of Thursday and Friday. Border guards did not inspect the contents of the trucks, which raises suspicions that they contained illicit cargo, according to Al-Mustaqbal.

Golly. Seems like it was barely 10 years ago when we saw this picture on TV, showing us all those WMDs of Saddam’s that didn’t exist, being trucked over the border into Syria a month before we started the invasion.

Which was purely coincidental, I’m sure, after some Democrat ... was it Jim McDermott or was it Nancy or Teddy, or Jay Rockefeller, I don’t recall ... went over there and let him know we were absolutely going to come by and stomp him real soon.

image

And now they’re going the other way. Shame we don’t have troops on the ground in Iraq.

oh look. the sky is falling again. muslim family offended. again.

This is not the story of the week or month, but I just wonder what the letters page will look like tomorrow morning.  I’m sure the usual libtards will be out in number taking offence on behalf of the family.
Actually, I think it’s funny someone at the store offered booze.

· Khan family from Cardiff was ‘highly insulted’ by Morrisons supermarket
· Complained about meat pasty and were offered champagne as apology
· Yousef, 3, tucked into pasty before realising it contained non-halal meat

By Anna Edwards

The devout Khan family was ‘highly insulted’ by Morrisons supermarket over the meat and alcohol double offence to their culture and religion.

His father rang the branch of Morrisons in Cardiff Bay where the manager apologised - and caused further insult by offering them a free bottle of alcoholic bubbly in compensation.

Angry garage worker Mr Khan, 28, said: ‘It is ridiculous and ignorant of our faith - not just once but twice.
‘Firstly they should be far more careful with how they label their products, especially when it could contain meat.
‘But then it is completely wrong of the manager to then give us champagne when Muslims don’t drink alcohol.
‘I feel highly insulted. I don’t want this happening to any other people who are Muslim.’
Mr Khan and his wife Nadia, 29, of Canton, Cardiff, said he will never shop at Morrisons again after the humiliating blunder.

more at source

Woo-hoo.  Morrisons will now file for chapter 11 or whatever it is over here.

Do you find it interesting that Mr. Kahn just automatically assumes that everyone in the country know muzzies aren’t allowed alcohol? Well, there might be a lot who don’t. I guess Mr. Kahn believes it’s the duty and the responsibility of every citizen here to know all about his twisted 7th cult.  And another thought.
There are lots of muzzies who DO in fact drink booze.
These folks live for the opportunity to be offended and outraged.

All Hell Breaking Loose In DC

Man on the run with a gun.

Breaking News ...

The body count increases by the minute.

Guy shot one or two people in the DC Navy Yard. Then the story was 4, one the victims being a police officer. Then it was 5. A couple minutes later, now it’s 10.

Don’t know where this is going, but it appears there’s another armed crazy on the loose.

Damned white people. It’s always some dumb creepy ass cracka with this kind of thing, right? Always.

At least 10 people have been shot at the Washington Navy Yard and an active shooter is still on the base grounds in Southeast D.C.

The U.S. Navy says shots were fired at 8:20 a.m. Monday at the Naval Sea Systems Command Headquarters building. D.C. police confirm that at least 10 people, including one D.C. police officer and one base officer, have been shot. The MPD officer was shot in both legs and transported to MedStar Washington Hospital Center with critical injuries.

Authorities have reportedly described the suspect as a bald black male dressed in all black, possibly carrying an assault rifle and a double-barreled shotgun. Law enforcement officials believe the suspect is still in the building.

Well I’ll be a son of a   gun   squirrel. Guess mass shootings can be equal opportunity after all.

UPDATE, NOON:

WASHINGTON (CBSDC/AP) — Multiple people are dead and several more are injured after a shooting at the Washington Navy Yard on Monday morning in Southeast D.C.

U.S. Navy spokesman Ed Buclatin says at least four people were killed and eight were injured when at least two gunmen opened fire around 8:20 a.m. Monday at the Naval Sea Systems Command Headquarters building.

Buclatin says that the building has been evacuated and authorities believe they have one shooter cornered in the building.

The Navy Yard is on lockdown and a “shelter in place” order has been issued, the Navy says. About 3,000 people work at the Naval Sea Systems Command headquarters.

UPDATE 12:35

ONE GUNMAN IS DEAD and police say there may be two others at large in the shooting of at least 10 people — including ‘multiple victims that are deceased’— at Washington Navy Yard at a building housing the Naval Sea Systems Command Headquarters, above. The AP is reporting six fatalities, but there are conflicting reports on the number of victims, and the number of gunmen.

Gator Done

First Time Hunters Catch 727lb Gator

In Mississippi River

image

Vicksburg, MS - A half-century old, cold-blooded, and weighing a third of a ton: there’s a new record for heaviest gator killed in Mississippi.

Three men struggled for hours to pull the beast out of the Mississippi River in Port Gibson. They say they finally got it out of the water on Monday morning.

The Mississippi Department of Fisheries, Wildlife, and Parks official calls it a record-breaker at 727 pounds.

Right now it’s being kept in deep freeze at a Vicksburg meat processor - a frigid end to the heated battle with completely inexperience gator hunters.

The tag-holder is 27-year-old Dustin Bockman, a UPS driver who lives in Vicksburg.

“It was about 8 o’clock [p.m. on Sunday] and it was me, my brother Ryan, and one of my best friends Cole Landers,” Bockman said.

“He marked him with a buoy with the first shot,” Cole said of Bockman’s strategy. “And we also snagged him with a rod and reel.”

“After you get a hook in him then you just have to fight him and wear him out until you can get him up,” Ryan Bockman, Dustin’s brother, said.

“It was like trying to pull a tree out of the water,” Dustin Bockman said.

“It just would go to the bottom and would not move. It didn’t matter what you did. It’d just stay there until he decided to move,” Bockman said.

After two hours of fighting the 50-something-year-old gator slipped up but it wouldn’t break the surface of the water.

Three shots to the back of the head killed it but also earned it a nickname.

“Elmer,” Bockman said.

“When you stick a gun in the water and it shoots, the pressure, the gas comes out and it can’t come out the end of the barrel. It exploded the gun barrel back like a banana he said that it looked like Elmer Fudd on the cartoon so he called him ‘Elmer’,” Bockman said.

Oh God. Bubba, Earl, and Skeeter in a pirogue. Trying to fire a rifle underwater.  rolleyes  rolleyes  It’s a small miracle they didn’t also earn themselves a Darwin Award.

Not that very many people ever read this far down, but this blog was the creation of Allan Kelly and his friend Vilmar. Vilmar moved on to his own blog some time ago, and Allan ran this place alone until his sudden and unexpected death partway through 2006. We all miss him. A lot. Even though he is gone this site will always still be more than a little bit his. We who are left to carry on the BMEWS tradition owe him a great debt of gratitude, and we hope to be able to pay that back by following his last advice to us all:
  1. Keep a firm grasp of Right and Wrong
  2. Stay involved with government on every level and don't let those bastards get away with a thing
  3. Use every legal means to defend yourself in the event of real internal trouble, and, most importantly:
  4. Keep talking to each other, whether here or elsewhere
It's been a long strange trip without you Skipper, but thanks for pointing us in the right direction and giving us a swift kick in the behind to get us going. Keep lookin' down on us, will ya? Thanks.

Oh, and here's some kind of visitor flag counter thingy. Hey, all the cool blogs have one, so I should too. The Visitors Online thingy up at the top doesn't count anything, but it looks neat. It had better, since I paid actual money for it.
