And The Media Is “What” Again??

After seeing this article in the paper Saturday and reading the linguistic twists and turns the magazine took to try to cover their asses, I can only come to the conclusion that there is absolutely no doubt our print media has no love for our soldiers, sailors, airmen, and marines.

In a nutshell, Harper’s magazine wrote a story about deserters and used a picture of Marines who had just arrived at boot camp and had yet to have their hair shorn or anything else.

Of course, what’s a normal person to do?  See the headline, look at the picture, and assume the people in the picture are the deserters.

Except one of them is a local boy.  And he is not AWOL.  Nor is he a deserter.  And now people are upset.

I say, “sue the fuck out of Harper’s.  Get a good lawyer and bring them to their knees.”

This is an example of the linguistic torturing Harper uses:

the Marines are not meant to depict people in the article.

“We are decorating pages,” said Giulia Melucci, the magazine’s vice president for public relations. “We are not saying the soldiers are AWOL. Our covers are not necessarily representative.”

So the next time I look at a magazine and it has an article about the richest men in America and I see a picture of Bill Gates or the Waltons I’m supposed to think what?  That it’s a story about some homeless guys?  What fucktards!

I guess they were more afraid of offending actual military members who were AWOL or deserters than they were of smearing the good names and faces of loyal Marines.  Of course, there’s probably more truth in that last sentence that we’d all care to admit.

And if that weren’t bad enough, Harpers manipulated and modified the images they got from a studio.  That’s taboo in the “stock” world.

Assholes!!!  I look forward to their demise.

Why Certain Lawyers Should Be Killed

This bottom-feeding, scum-sucker is defending a Yemeni born man who lost his job as an airport screener.

The man?

--joined the USAF and claimed sympathy with bin Laden after 9-11

--the USAF, concerned, revoked his clearance and discharged him

--he applies to the TSA and says he’s never had a clearance denied

--they fired him for lying.  He faces 5 years and a $250,000 fine

The bottom-feeder, of course, says this:

“My client is an absolutely loyal American.”

Don’t these sons of bitches have any conscience whatsoever?  You mean to tell me that people who do this wake up in the morning proud of who they are and what they do?  A punji stick up the ass is too good for these bastards.  And that goes for the Yemeni, too, and all his collaborating goat fucking butt-buddies.

The Koffing Anus Is Depressed!!

AWWWW!!  Poor baby!  Kofi Annan is depressed over what’s been happening in the UN with the oil-for-food scandal (not to mention the sexual assaults by peacekeepers!)

To me it is incredible that an organization in the spotlight for its monstrous scandals has the audacity to do this:

Just last week it was revealed that, despite earlier denials, the U.N. was paying the legal fees of disgraced oil-for-food head Benon Sevan - and using the escrow account of the oil-for-food program to do it.

What chutzpah!

They say he is so depressed he is thinking of resigning.

Good!  GET THE FUCK OUT!  And don’t let the door hit you as you leave, either!

Of course, this is nothing more than a calculated ploy by the Koffing Anus to shore up his own legacy.  He can leave and say it was for “medical” reasons and not reasons dealing with fraud, corruption, abuse and scandals.  That way, the year after, he can be nominated for and win the Nobel Peace Prize.

1. uniform state euthanasia laws
2. a ban on home-schooling, probably federal
3. a political union with Canada and Mexico
4. an elimination of the right to trial by jury
5. elimination of the separation of powers doctrine (this is already effective, but not apparent)
6. a ban on all political speech by unapproved parties (already in the works)
7. emigration restrictions
8. legally recognized polyamorous relationships
9. a global tax to fund a UN military

Go read the rest. You’ll see what he means.  And you’ll thank me for it.  It’s coming.  It’s inevitable---unless we get off our asses and make our politicians accountable.

Guns, Cops, Criminals and Political Correctness

Hey, this is a great piece by John Lott.  Given that we’ve had three attacks by sick-os in the past several weeks, all using guns, we can expect that the gun grabbers on the left will be screaming for more gun restrictions.

Yet Mr. Lott makes some great observations.

The major factor determining success is the relative strengths and sizes of the criminal and officer. In particular, when officer strength and size requirements are reduced because of affirmative action, each one-percent increase in the number of female officers increases the number of assaults on police by 15 to 19 percent.

That’s what political correctness with police got you in Atlanta.

All three attacks took place in areas where gun possession by those who did the attack as well as civilians generally was already banned — so-called “gun-free safe zones.”

Yep, as he said, it’s like you putting a big sign in front of your house saying your home is a “gun-free zone.” How long before you’re cleaned out?  or killed?

He also found that:

when states passed right-to-carry laws, these attacks fell by 60 percent. Deaths and injuries from multiple-victim public shootings fell on average by 78 percent.

more than two million times each year that Americans use guns defensively are never discussed — even though this is five times as often as the 450,000 times that guns are used to commit crimes over the last couple of years.

Another Reason For Mandatory Registration

Yep, here’s another reason why I believe HIV positive people need to be on a register like sex offenders and pedophiles.

Poor Canuckistani military guys.  Maybe as bit more saltpeter in their food is required.  It might keep them safer.

Here we find a man who got pissed at his wife and withheld sex from her. Courts ruled she could get a divorce.  Oh, did I mention he did so for 7 years?

And if your wife cheats on you, even if she does it more than once, she’ll still take you to the cleaners when you try to dump her for infidelity.

In this case, she got houses, cars, jewelry and LOTS of cash.  About 25% of the estate.

Something is VERY wrong with that.

Somehow I believe that it won’t happen again to this guy.  He’ll either not marry or have one hell of an iron-clad pre-nup.

For all you “single” guys out there---do the same thing.  Keep what’s yours and don’t let the little head talk for the big one.

In this case, if she were on the second floor you’d be able to reach it on the ground floor and climb up.
