The Democratic Mantra

Not a day goes by that the Democraps moan and groan about how bad the economy is.  Yet in the same breath they will tell you noting is wrong with Social Security (I wonder where they were in the 90s when Clinton was saying SS was doomed?  HMMMMM?)

Anyway, it should come as no surprise that our economy is in good shape notwithstanding the recent surge in oil prices.  Airline travel is high; home building is high; consumer spending is high.  None of these can occur in a period of bad economy regardless of what any leftist tells you.

Yet still the Duumycrats persist in their mantra.

I wonder if they’d have any vocal chords left from screaming about a bad economy if they lived in Germany, France, or Spain?  Of course not!  Those are models of perfect socialism to which they aspire.

Meanwhile, unemployment in Germany is 12.1% YIKES!!!

According to Bloomberg, the German numbers are 11.1% (adjusted) and Spain’s numbers are even higher with France coming in at 9.7%

Overall, in the EU the rate is 8.9%

GOOD!  FUCK THEM!  Maybe they will learn a lesson about taxation and free spending socialistic programs.  But I doubt it.

OBTW, in the US it is 5.4% Better than when Clinton was running for re-election (without a war, without major corporate scandals which his administration swept under the carpet); without 9-11; without a doubling of oil prices.  And still the Dummycraps call it AWFUL!

(hat tip to Political Vice Squad for the numbers)

Home From The Hills

I just got back from a two-day trip to Nashville. Four hours drive time each way, twelve hours of meetings. Now I have 143 e-mails to sort through. Bear with me. Yours truly may be leaving Alabama soon. All will be explained in due time, grasshopper.

Update: GREAT GOOGLEY-MOOGLEY! After gently perusing the first 50-60 e-mails, it looks like I missed the opening battle of the Great Social Security War. May I interject a little reality here .... you all have valid points but I’m not seeing very many pure facts and numbers. If you want to convince me one way or the other, document your arguments and note sources, please. Pretend I’m the American populace and you’re George Bush or Teddy Kennedy .... show me the money - with real facts and numbers. Otherwise, Vilmar and I will stage a coup, take over Washington, DC and run this mess as WE see fit!

Social Security For The Logic and Fact Challenged

For those who can not understand the concept of why people should be given the option of getting out of the Ponzi scheme called sociali security, Mrs. duToit tries to explain why we want out and she uses pictures!

Hopefully, now even the socialist nanny-state lefties incapable of grasping simple written concepts will be able to understand.

Go here.

Be advised that Kim and “The Mrs.” do not suffer fools gladly.  You must register to comment as on this site but careful what you say and how you say it.  You’ve been warned!!

A Public Service Message

Are you a cyclist?  Have a nice bike you do not want ripped off?  Secure it with a Kryptonite lock, maybe?

Well, Boopsie, look out!  You may find yourself with a lock and a bike.  Some enterprising low-life equipped with nothing much more than a bic pen can steal it all.

No shit!!

I just read about this in Fortune or some such magazine and thought all y’all might be interested.

So if you own a Kryptonite bike lock you may want to see this site.

As a result of a post last year (at a blog, no less), it spread like wildfire.  Kryptonite ignored it.  The fire grew.  Now the company has to spend almost $10,000,000 to replace its locks or lose credibility and go bankrupt.  I love blogging!!

Anyway, if you do own one, you can get it replaced by going here.

They’ll send you a UPS label you can print and return the lock to them and they will replace it, free.

Another friendly public service reminder from the Benevolent Dictator.

You Know What’s Disgusting?

The behavior of Democrats last night at the SOTU speech where they erupted into cries of “NO!” when the President mentioned overhauling the Ponzi scheme also known as Social Security.  I understand that it was unprecedented.

NPR, of course, loved it!  The leftist America-haters loved it.  The Democraps loved it.  And in so doing are further hardening the cement overshoes they will be wearing when they jump into the frigid waters of the next election.

I hope someone in the White House is now reviewing those tapes to find out exactly who it was that did so and from now on out, accord those people no civility, no favors, nothing.

Your thoughts?

P.S.  I’ve been asked to retract these comments because Republicans booed Clinton during his S.O.T.U. address.

I refuse to do so simply because I think the actions of Democrats last night was reprehensible.  I also think that it is just as equally reprehensible for Republicans to do similar to a Democratic President.  It shows a lack of respect for the office.  It is unprofessional.  After all, this is not England and their Parliament of Whores (to steal from P.J. O’Rourke!)

Sure To Get Some Of You Exercised!

I do not know what to say on this one.  The truth always lies somewhere in the middle but I can help but side with the father on this one.

The heavy hand of government is about to take away the home of a family because the father “employed” his sons and ran afoul of the child labor laws in the “People’s Republic” of Washington.

I will say one thing: the father has powerful arguments for winning his case but I suspect the “rule of law” will conspire against him.

Read it and be upset!

If you were judge, how would you rule and why?

Figures Lie and Liars Figure

You may recall some time back when the cry of the left was that many Americans were one paycheck away from poverty....or hunger....or some such bullshit.

Well now we have some assclowns who conducted a bankruptcy study and determined that many Americans are “one serious illness away from bankruptcy.”

What pap!  What drivel!  What bullshit!

What I want to know is, “of all the people who filed for bankruptcy, how many were ALREADY saddled with huge credit card debt and this just pushed them over the edge.?”

How about this question: “How many people filed for bankruptcy simply to get out from paying those bills?”

Come on!  Give me a break!  How about some real science here?  Look at the amounts they cite:  $10,000 to $15,000.

Yet people have no problem going into hock for $30,000 for a new Avalon or Cadillac but pay their medical bills?  No sir!  We’ll declare bankruptcy, thank you!

Fucking moonbat researchers!

Going Too Far

If you ever wonder why Social Security is going broke or Medicare is going broke, you need only read something like this.

When we have entitlement programs where we expand the list of eligibility to almost everyone and start giving benefits to them (and in a somewhat capricious way) the results are predictable.  We will either need to raise taxes or go broke because government programs will never get cut.

What’s got my knickers in a twist?

Medicare will now pay for impotence drugs.

Look, it’s wonderful to get your rocks off but I just do not see why it has to be at taxpayer expense.  We do we have to pay for some old man to get his jollies?  If he can’t, let him deal with it.  It’s not like he will die from it.

I wrote a few days about how nature abhors a vacuum and that if the government throws money at something, that something will grow ever more.

Same concept applies here and is noted by an economist at the Heritage Foundation who said:

“But this should not be a shock…. Once you create a universal entitlement, the tendency is for the entitlement to expand.”

Sorry, this is just wrong.  Our tax dollars should not be going to anyone so they can orgasm.  If they are so desperate, let them buy the drugs themselves.  Don’t make me pay for it.

The Tight Lipped Naysayers

Oo where are Michael Moore, Jimmy Carter, George Soros and all the other shitbags who were wailing and gnashing their teeth over how the Iraqi elections were going to be a bloodbath?

More Hypocrisy At Our Colleges

More Hypocrisy At Our Colleges

Mike Adams writes a great piece about how a college did not permit a student group from showing “The Passion of the Christ” yet allowed another student group to stage a live performance of “F***ing for Jesus.”

When the Christian students complained about censorship, they were yanked out of their classes and demands were made upon them to apologize.

He then goes on to skewer them for saying that the college does not permit “R” rated movies which is why the movie was cancelled.  But “F***ing for Jesus” showed student copulating with a statue.  And THAT’S not “R"-rated?  Plus the school allowed the airing of “Welcome to Sarajevo” which is also “R” rated.

Hypocrisy, anyone?

These assholes are guilty of practicing the same intolerance against Christian groups that they accuse Christian conservatives of engaging in.

Make sure you write the VP of student affairs.  jmoore@ircc.edu

I did.

On a more pleasant note, Dr. Adams writes of an organization that was formed to address some of the ills that plague the education system, today.  They are the National Association of Scholars.

S.H.I.T. Silliness

A man walked into the ladies department of a Macy’s and shyly walked up to the woman behind the counter and said, “I’d like to buy a bra for my wife.

“What type of bra?” asked the clerk.

“Type?” inquires the man, “There’s more than one type?”

“Look around,” said the saleslady, as she showed a sea of bras in every shape, size, color and material imaginable.

Actually, even with all of this variety, there are really only four types of bras to choose from.

Relieved, the man asked about the types.

The saleslady replied: “There are the Catholic, the Salvation Army, the Presbyterian, and the Baptist types. Which one would you prefer?”

Now totally befuddled, the man asked about the differences between them.

The Saleslady responded, “It is all really quite simple… The Catholic type supports the masses. The Salvation Army type lifts the fallen, The Presbyterian type keeps them staunch and upright, and The Baptist makes mountains out of mole hills.

Have you ever wondered why A, B, C, D, DD, E, F, G, and H are the letters used to define bra sizes? If you have wondered why, but couldn’t figure out what the letters stood for, it is about time you became informed

(A} Almost Boobs..
{B} Barely there.
{C} Can’t Complain!
{D} Dang!
{DD} Double dang!
{E} Enormous!
{F} Fake.
{G} Get a Reduction.
{H} Help me, I’ve fallen and I can’t get up!

One more thing:  they forgot the German bra. Holtzemfromfloppen!-

(thanks to AlanS)

An Excellent Read

I almost did not read this as I am sick and tired of Michael Moore.  But I printed it out and sat down with a cup (or two) of coffee to do so.  I am glad I did.  Lowell Ponte has done a great job pointing out what a hypocrite Moore is.  You’ve heard some of this stuff but Ponte takes you from Moore’s childhood (where the lies began) through 2004.

You’ll find out:

--his agent is the brother of Rahm Emanuel, former operative for Bill Clinton.

--Moore’s parents were affluent, not as “working class” as you’re led to believe by Fatass Moore.  They lived a life of leisure p[aid for by unions

--he’s a quitter who loves to rant and rave at those he disagrees with

--he’s undependable

--he hates capitalism and loves unions but will not hire his own workers at union scale

--he hates guns but his own bodyguards get arrested for unregistered possession (the poor can’t defend themselves but apparently Fatass can afford to hire body guards to protest his lard ass)

--most of his movies are full of inaccuracies

I could go on and on.  This REALLY is a great read.

Conclusion: the guy is a real pus-bag, barking moonbat who needs to be put down like the rabid batshit he is.

The link is printer friendly so hit “print” and enjoy.

What A Great Idea!!!

Kofi Annan has chosen Bill “Blowjob” Clinton to head up the tsunami relief effort. Somehow Annan thinks Clinton has the skills to pull this off.

I think it is a great idea!

Now, when the effort begins to bog down, or supplies get stolen or supplies rot in ports or convoys get hijacked, etc., we can blame Clinton and call him an incompetent piece of crap incapable of outsmarting a bunch of third worlders.

Well, hell’s bells!  Will you look at that!  It’s starting already!

Let’s see Billy-boy wiggle out of this one!

Speaking of Kofi Annan, looks like his son is admitting his role in the oil-for-food scandal.

Aw!  Ain’t that special?  Wanna bet that now the apologists who call themselves the caretakers of the poor and downtrodden will begin to demand we stop picking on him because he’s come clean?

Meanwhile, that asshole professor in Colorado, Ward Churchill, needs to have his nose rubbed in these facts like a puppy has its nose rubbed in its shit pile for his comments that the US was responsible for hundreds of thousands of children’s deaths in Iraq when in all actuality it was people like Kofi and Kojo who were responsible for all those deaths.  Their greed and avarice resulted in untold deaths and hunger throughout Iraq.

But the leftist bastards like Churchill can never find fault with their socialistic pals, can they?

Hey, one more thing:  doesn’t Kofi and Kojo sound like a couple of names for trained circus monkeys?

  3. Use every legal means to defend yourself in the event of real internal trouble, and, most importantly:
