Blog Tip For The Day

Who are the members you are talking to and who was on-line here at the blog recently? There is a simple way to find all this out and I am going to tell you how. This feature is available to members only.

When you come to this blog and login, you will see in the top right sidebar (right under Batty) the “Members” section. In this section you have three links, “Your Account”, “Logout” and “Member List”. If you are not a member or are not logged in, you only see “Login” and “Register”.

Clicking on the “Your Account” takes you to your profile screen where you can fill in any information you wish to share with other members about yourself. This information is strictly voluntary and you should not reveal anything you do not wish other members to see.

Clicking on “Member List” takes you to a page listing all the members. Clicking on the members name takes you to their profile page where you can view their avatar and any other information they disclose to the public, as well as how many times they have commented and other blog statistics. On this page, clicking on the “E-Mail” link opens up an e-mail editor window that allows you to send an e-mail directly to them from within the blog. Clicking the “URL” button takes you to their web page, if they have one. All other link buttons, if present, open up an instant messenger window to allow you to communicate with other members in real-time. Again, these buttons are only visible if the member has chosen to share that information with the public.

Now, to make it easier to locate a particular member, look at the bottom of the page. You will see selection options to narrow your search. For example, let’s see who was on most recently, OK?

Simply click on the “Sort” pull-down list and select “Last Visit” then click on the “Order” pull-down list and select “Descending”, then click “Submit”. The list will be re-ordered with the most recent visitors at the top.

There are many other options to enable you to sort the list and find the member you wish to communicate with. I only ask that you use the member lists in a civilized manner. Again, this list and the information is only available to registered (and logged-in) members only. A word of caution here too: if you do not want information revealed to other members, do not put it in your member profile. All information you provide in your profile is available only to other members and is strictly voluntary.

Any abuse of these features should be reported to me immediately and as most of you know I can be one mean son-of-a-bitch when somebody starts getting abusive or acts too rowdy on this blog. Any abuse will result in severe penalties, up to and including, a slow miserable death .... not to mention permanent banning.

Now go forth and have fun ....

Oscar Contest

Can you guess the identity of this mystery girl? She was a Hollywood actress and this picture is from 1933. She graduated from Bryn Mawr College, Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania in 1928, with a degree in history and philosophy. She was a direct descendant of Britain’s King John through one of his illegitimate children. Who is this mystery girl and what record does she hold when it comes to Academy Awards?

Have You Seen Me?

This little girl is missing down in Vilmar’s neck of the woods. Maybe our Benevolent Dictator can keep an eye out for her and alert everyone down there to be on the lookout. Anyone who may have seen the girl or has information about her whereabouts should call the sheriff’s office at (352) 726-1121 or the sheriff’s office tips line at (888) 269-8477.

In this undated family photo provided by the Citrus County (Fla.) Sheriff’s Department, Jessica Marie Lunsford is shown. The family of Lunsford, a missing 9-year-old girl who disappeared from her bedroom of her home in Homosassa, FL, pleaded for her return Friday, Feb. 25, 2005, calling her an ``angel’’ who needs to be home. The father and grandparents of the missing 9-year-old cried as they described a girl who they say would never run away. (AP Photo/Citrus County Sheriff’s Dept, File)

Vladimir Putin:
Leave Him Alone

utin is doing the best he can to straighten out a complete mess, one he inherited from Boris Yeltsin. Make no mistake about it. Yeltsin was a drunk and he has almost killed himself with his drinking. On his watch, the former Soviet Empire got its first taste of democracy and the old Soviet party leaders simply moved from running the country to running their own version of the Mafia. Crime was rampant and corruption the order of the day. Governors of provinces were bribed to ignore the Russian Mafia’s activities and money flowed out of the country in a steady stream as these criminal warlords invested overseas.

While Yeltsin wandered about in an alcoholic haze, the Russian country was gradually deteriorating into almost total chaos. All during the 1990’s, America turned a blind eye to Russia and simply laughed at the destruction of the old Soviet Empire. President Clinton rode the wave of the internet economy and fought to keep his pants zipped while renting out the Lincoln Bedroom of the White House. Enron and several other American companies were practicing corrupt business activities on a grand scale that would not end until the goofball Clinton administration was replaced. The same thing was happening in Russia, except on a much larger and much more dangerous scale.

image

This is the mess Vladimir Putin inherited: a country whose infrastructure was quickly rotting, a currency that was headed straight down, political corruption throughout government, rampant crime and terrorist attacks from Chechnya. The mainstream media in America simply poo-poo’ed it and wrote it all off as “bumps in the road on the way to democracy”. This was utter bullshit and also patronizing, to say the least, on the part of the media elite in the US .. who, by the way, were sucking up to Clinton and ignoring his transgressions while fawning over his “leadership”. Complete crap! Clinton and Yeltsin were simply two sides of the same coin - two inept populists who coasted on the newly found peace created by Reagan and Gorbachev.

image

With the 21st century arriving, both America and Russia had to make some hard choices. In America, the economy was going into the tank with the collapse of the internet bubble and in Russia, the criminal elements had taken over the country. America needed George W. Bush and Russia needed Vladimir Putin. Unfortunately, America found itself embroiled in a foreign war after the attacks of 9/11. President Bush had to revive the economy while fighting an unwanted war at the same time. Because of this, the deficits have ballooned and security has had to be tightened. The liberal left in the US has been screaming its collective head off about “infringement of civil rights” ever since 9/11 without pausing to consider that the US is under attack. That same liberal left in the US is also now accusing Putin of “backsliding on democracy” and “creating a new police state” in Russia.

Utter rubbish! Putin is simply doing what needed to be done after the train wreck of the 1990’s. He has gone after the Russian criminal element, shut down their operations, regained control of the corrupt regional governors and gone after the Muslim terrorists in Chechnya. He has gathered more power at the federal level in order to clean out the mess. Bush has had a tougher road of it because the US is more of an established democracy with a vocal, angry press watching his every step - not to mention the leftist opposition elements.

Putin has quietly gone about the business of rebuilding Russia into the great country that it once was. The real test of his administration will come in a few years when he gets it all sorted out and starts to surrender the power he has recently acquired - if he chooses to. Russia is not America, not by a long shot. Our Russian friends still have a long way to go on their road to freedom and democracy. For the time being though, Putin is the man for troubled times and the US should back him in his struggle.

As the leftist media in this country attacks Putin and accuses him of everything from “returning to Stalinism” to being “the anti-Christ”, we all need to remember the early years of our country. George Washington had to put down a rebellion or two and America had its share of bumps in the road in the early years. The key test came after Washington served two terms and a lot of people thought he should accept permanent leadership, sort of a king. Washington gracefully stepped down and power passed to others who carried the torch of freedom along. Putin will face that decision in a few years. That will be the time when we get the measure of the man. Now .... it is just too early to tell. Why don’t we just give him the benefit of the doubt for the time being? Russia could be a very valuable friend and ally in the near future. Let’s let Putin (and the Russians) sort their problems out on their own and help them regain their place in world affairs. As one great country to another ....

I Couldn’t Pass This One Up!!

If you recall, yesterday our SecWar posted about the MSM’s fascination with Condi Rice’s sartorial choices when she visited Europe.

I just read James Taranto’s “Best of the Web” for yesterday and found this gem:

the band Cake anticipated all this with the 2001 song “Short Skirt/Long Jacket”:

I want a girl with a mind like a diamond
I want a girl who knows what’s best
I want a girl with shoes that cut
And eyes that burn like cigarettes
I want a girl with the right allocation
Who’s fast, and thorough, and sharp as a tack
She’s playing with her jewelry, she’s putting up her hair
She’s touring the facility and picking up slack
I want a girl with a short skirt,
And a loooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooong jacket

Could there be romance in the air? And if so, how long before the secretary of state becomes Mrs. Rice Cake?

Rice Cake!  What a hoot!!!!!  But those lyrics were spot-on!!!

Bully For Him!!!

I am glad this guy won!  Can you imagine a woman pulling this on you:

Woman:  hey big boy!  Had a bad day at the office?  Come here and let me “unwind you.”

She pulls you close, pulls down your trousers and proceeds to kneel in front of you.  (I’ll leave the rest to your imagination.)

Woman leaves for bathroom, spits into a cup and places it in the freezer.

Two weeks later you quarrel and leave her.

She goes to the freezer, takes the contents to a fertility clinic and gets impregnated.

Two years later you get sued for child support.  And YOU LOSE AND MUST PAY!!!!!

That’s basically what happened here.

I hope he sues the shit out of her.  And I hope some judge has the decency to revoke the requirement he pay child support for a child he did not willingly create.  And then I hope the self-same judge orders her to pay him back all the child support he’s already paid in, plus interest.

Of course, her lawyer whines and says:

“There’s a 5-year-old child here.  Imagine how a child feels when your father says he feels emotionally damaged by your birth.”

No asshole, how about imaging you as a fraud?  And a despicable one at that because that’s what you are.

What say you?

On Homosexuals And AIDS

Recently we discussed the merits of making people with AIDS or who were HIV positive to be entered into a database and be tracked like pedophiles and sexual offenders because they are a menace to society.  Read here and here.

Some of you were very displeased with that idea.

Now go read this and tell me if the idea is still so wrong.  There are a lot of sick sons of bitches out there and some of these people act out through a sense of vengeance.  They want to strike back because they got contaminated.

Look, you say you’re a homosexual?  Fine.  I do not have a problem with it.  Hell, we could even be neighbors and I can help you cut down trees, work on your car, etc.  I’d even invite you over for backyard BBQs.  But don’t try to cram your lifestyle down my throat and go parading around trying to make it look like its all normal.  It isn’t.  Stop with the hand holding and kissing in public shit, too.  Kids don’t need to see that.  Do not try and make me accept that lifestyle.

But if you decide to engage in risky habits, then do not expect me to feel much pity, either.

Meanwhile it appears like Blacks have a death wish consistent with what’s going on in Africa.

Of course, the mommy government types now want more funding for drug programs!!  How about so called “Black Leaders” undertaking a massive effort to convince these people of the dangers of their lifestyles and the consequences of their actions?

What the fuck are they called leaders for if they can’t lead?  Come on Jesse Jackson.  Al Sharpton. Louie Farrakhan.  Barak Obama.  Charlie Rangell.  Show us your leadership, you race baiting, victi-crat pushing SOBs.

Now, if only we could spread this to goats and camels we’d have the sheethead problem in the world fixed in no time!!!!

On A Personal Note

I haven’t figured out how to do it myself so until the SecWar graciously makes the necessary changes to my icon, my personal website dedicated to bicycling across the United States, a bike trip down the Pacific Coast, and adventures in Antarctica, New Zealand, Australia, and Fiji can be found here.

(Please do not criticize it for lack of CSS or whatever.  I already got those and am NOT about to undertake a re-write of a site so large.  All other critiques/pointing out of errors gladly accepted.)

Update From SecWar: Links to Vilmar’s Excellent Adventures in right sidebar are now complete. We are now hosting Vilmar’s pages here on our own server. My personal web pages (for computer geeks) are coming soon. Stay tuned.

Another Assnugget Bites The Dust

Remember this ass nugget?

According to Steel, who contacted the hosting company:

Forsake The Troops is no longer a customer of SMIS Hosting. Their website is no longer hosted by our company. We initially gave them the courtesy of more than 24 hours’ notice to terminate their account, but due to their threats and vile behavior, which violated our TOS, they were removed as of 5pm on Thursday, February 24th, despite a grass-roots campaign to attempt to flood our e-mail boxes and telephone lines with cries of “Save our Ship!”

If you go to the address now you will find, in its place, this.

White Supremacy?  Mr. Crook?  Well, well!!!

A Story About A Man Who Lacks Commitment……………….

.................yet is committed to be a politician.

Our society is fucked, I tell you, fucked; as long as people like this live.

Do you remember when I wrote about the candidate for office in St. Louis who threatened, via his blog, to kill himself?  Allow me to refresh your collective memories.

Thanks to Gary I got a follow-up about this sorry excuse for a human being. He is still running for mayor!!  He still has not killed himself.  He does not expect to win but will start working on campaigning for the 2009 election. He says:

“What do you want me to do?” Haas says. “Give up?”

What I want to know is how anyone can vote for a guy who is not committed to what he says.  He did, after all, say he was going to kill himself.

He didn’t.

How can you trust a guy who doesn’t keep his word?

The FRAUD Strikes Again

The FRAUD Strikes Again

Thanks to various readers and Michelle Malkin, too, I found this post about the FRAUDULENT, VILE, PIECE OF SHIT Wardass Churchill selling his paintings as originals when they are nothing more than copies of copyrighted art for which he does not have a license.  (don’t forget to click on the video link to watch this SOB strike out at reporters.)

If this fuck is able to keep his job then I will not know what to think about American academics.

I wonder how long before EBay pulls it?  After all, they are fraudulently represented as Native American art when he admitted he is not NA and federal law says you can not pawn yourself off as NA to sell things.

Here’s what reader Terry wonders:

I wonder if you can pay with fake money?  Seems fitting.

If you will pardon a crude paraphrase of an old adage:  Fake Indians that live in straw teepee’s shouldn’t shoot flaming arrows.

Well said, Terry.

Weekend Wackiness

Weekend Wackiness

bat Look, I understand being in love and all, but how stupid can you be to go off on a 60 mile hike through the woods in temperatures approaching MINUS 22?!?!?!?!?!?!

Well, this asshole did and will now lose fingers and toes.  Yeah, a real prize!

Come one!!  Love is one thing but would any of you want to stay in a relationship with a person so stupid?

bat Somehow I do not think too many men would complain if these commercials came to the US. So long as the papers do not run headlines saying:

“Big breast bras good for people with small brains.”

bat I thought so.

Men!!!  Listen up!  Do you suck at reading maps?

Yes?

Sucks to be you, I guess because apparently you’ve a greater tendency to be homosexual.

bat I just don’t know how to lead into this one about Michelangelo’s “David.” But I will give you a teaser of professor’s analysis:

He has an orthosympathic activation consistent with the combined effects of fear, tension and aggression. A contraction of the genitals is totally normal in such conditions

bat Looks like Kraft Foods is giving in to political correctness. An animal rights group was offended at Kraft’s Road Kill Gummi Bears candy and demanded production be stopped because:

the candy encouraged children to be cruel to animals.

And you wonder why I hate PETA and all those other groups?

bat Every fisherman should have this problem!

More Paleswinian Madness

Four dead and fifty wounded in Tel Aviv homicide bomber attack. So, tell me ....how many times has some wild Jew gone on a rampage and set off a terrorist bomb in Egypt, Syria, Iran, Iraq or Saudi Arabia? Answer: none.

Why do these murdering filthy scum keep killing Jews and why does the world continue to turn a blind eye to this madness? I for one am sick and tired of this shit from the “religion of peace”. I say we assist the Israelis in running the so-called “palestinians” completely out of ISRAEL (that includes Gaza and the West Bank) and then help them build a HUGE damned wall to keep them from coming back. These Muslim retards will never stop in their ceaseless genocidal attacks on Israel until somebody slaps the ever-loving shit out of them in huge numbers. Why not start with a carpet-bombing run over Gaza? Kill a few million of these shit-fer-brains and tell the rest they can play nice or be the next to die. Period.

In a seemingly unrelated story, Condaleeza Rice cancelled her trip to Egypt today.

Not that very many people ever read this far down, but this blog was the creation of Allan Kelly and his friend Vilmar. Vilmar moved on to his own blog some time ago, and Allan ran this place alone until his sudden and unexpected death partway through 2006. We all miss him. A lot. Even though he is gone this site will always still be more than a little bit his. We who are left to carry on the BMEWS tradition owe him a great debt of gratitude, and we hope to be able to pay that back by following his last advice to us all:
  1. Keep a firm grasp of Right and Wrong
  2. Stay involved with government on every level and don't let those bastards get away with a thing
  3. Use every legal means to defend yourself in the event of real internal trouble, and, most importantly:
  4. Keep talking to each other, whether here or elsewhere
