Sticker Shock

What has 750 HP under the hood, can go from 0 to 60 in 2.8 seconds and can cover a quarter mile in 10.7 seconds? Why, the all new Saleen S7, of course. If you have to ask how much it costs, you can’t afford it. The sticker price for the base model is only $559,000.00. Let’s see, if you financed that at 4% interest for 60 months, your payments would only be .... aw shit, forget about it. For now, it is officially the most expensive car in the world. So unless you’re Donald Trump, just drool ....

High-Res images of this beast can be found here.

Here’s a little teaser though ....

Sexist Pigs At The Washington Post

The Washington Post is concerned about Condaleeza Rice’s wardrobe.

Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice arrived at the Wiesbaden Army Airfield on Wednesday dressed all in black. She was wearing a black skirt that hit just above the knee, and it was topped with a black coat that fell to mid-calf. The coat, with its seven gold buttons running down the front and its band collar, called to mind a Marine’s dress uniform or the “save humanity” ensemble worn by Keanu Reeves in “The Matrix.”

As Rice walked out to greet the troops, the coat blew open in a rather swashbuckling way to reveal the top of a pair of knee-high boots. The boots had a high, slender heel that is not particularly practical. But it is a popular silhouette because it tends to elongate and flatter the leg. In short, the boots are sexy.

When was the last time a reporter wrote such ridiculous drivel about a male Secretary Of State? OK, I’ll grant you Henry Kissinger did look like a sack of potatoes in a wrinkled suit but that’s beside the point. Why does the Liberal Rag Of The Beltway concentrate on her freaking wardrobe? Isn’t this some kind of double standard going on here? I thought Liberals wanted an androgynous society where all sexes are treated equally. Why is the liberal Post so concerned about fashion in our government employees all of a sudden? More importantly, why are liberals allowed to get away with this sexist bullshit?

Note: Damn! She does look sexy though.

Vilmar Note:  Damn Straight!  Check it out:

Eunuchs On Parade

The nutless wonders at the United Nations never cease to amaze me. For your late night entertainment, we present the latest installment of ”Honey I Shrunk The Cojones”, starring Kofi Annan as the Cowardly Lion ....

UNITED NATIONS (AFP) - UN Secretary General Kofi Annan’s spokesman denied an Al-Arabiya television report that Annan had demanded a Syrian withdrawal from Lebanon by April or sanctions if they do not comply.

“The secretary general never set an April deadline for a withdrawal nor did he support sanctions if the pullout didn’t happen by then,” spokesman Fred Eckhard said, providing a partial transcript of the network’s Annan interview.

OK, it seems the eUNuchs are scared of the big bad Arabs and are backpedaling. Well, what exactly did the Cowardly Lion say?

“If it’s partial withdrawal, I will have to report. If it’s total withdrawal, I will have to report,” Annan said, adding that it would be up to the council to impose any sanctions.

“I would urge them to do everything possible to comply so that I can report to the council that they have satisfactorily performed and therefore we wouldn’t need to go for additional measures,” Annan said.

“But of course, if they do not perform, the council may wish to take additional measures,” the UN chief said.

“If they sense that the resolution is not being implemented and they want to take additional measures, it would be up to them,” Annan said, according to the transcript.

Great Googley Moogley! I haven’t heard such utterly inane, verbose bullshit since Bill Clinton was in the White House.

Memo to Kofi: Either grow a pair or start wearing a dress, you dumb useless shit! Better yet, just put on the dress, keep your mouth shut, pack up your useless organization and move it all to Paris.

We’re All Gonna Die, Part MCLVII

Flash: Important Bulletin From The Chicken Little Institute

The CLI today issued its 1,157th environmental disaster announcement. It turns out that scientists at CLI have found rocket fuel in boobies.

Now, far be it from me to question the experts at CLI but I do have a few things I would like to have cleared up ....

1- How did you goobers go about testing the alleged rocket-powered boobies?

2- Where do I apply for this job as tester?

3- What does rocket fuel taste like when mixed with milk?

4- Is there more rocket fuel in big boobies than there are in itty-bitty-titties?

5- Does this mean Dolly Parton may blast off for Mars any day now?

6- Can I volunteer to test her “blastoff capabilities”?

I thank the CLI in advance for clearing these issues up for me.  boobies

Quote Of The Day

“It’s strange for me to say it, but this process of change has started because of the American invasion of Iraq. I was cynical about Iraq. But when I saw the Iraqi people voting three weeks ago, eight million of them, it was the start of a new Arab world . The Syrian people, the Egyptian people, all say that something is changing. The Berlin Wall has fallen. We can see it.”
-- Lebanon’s paramount Druze leader Walid Jumblatt

What are the chances that Democrats and Leftists will finally admit that George W. Bush knows what he is doing and might be turning the world into a better place?

Go read this and then decide.

Ward Churchill Back In The News

Well!!!  AssWard spoke at a group in Colorado yesterday and his ass sucking minions were there giving him standing Os even after he FINALLY ADMITTED he is not an Indian (the woo-woo type, not the dot-on-the-forehead type.)

In further good news, it appears that out-of-state enrollment in CU is down 19%. Oh happy day!  Good, those sons of bitches in the board of regents deserve to have this happen to them for allowing this fraud to continue teaching for so long.

Of course, the spin form the politically correct crowd is that enrollment is down due to “the soft economy and big increases in tuition.”

What a bunch of pathetic losers!

I hope the school folds.

How Many Were Democrats?

I’ve done this before simply because I do not have time so I will ask some dear reader to take some time and do a little research.

This story is about a bunch of elected officials in New Jersey who got arrested for taking bribes.

I’ll bet you a dollar to a doughnut that almost 75% (if not all) are democrats.

Anyone up to the challenge of searching city and county records?

Meanwhile I will continue ferreting out stories to post.

Thanks!

Another Proposal For The UN To Clusterf**k

In addition to all I loathe about the UN, I just had another reason dumped on me:

Leaders of a U.N. Internet panel yesterday said they hope to set up a global system where cyberspace would be under the control of the United Nations.

WTF,O?!?!?!

Those sons of bitches couldn’t run a simple oil-for-food program without going corrupt and I am now expected to believe they can do this?

We may as well go back to 14.4 modems and nanny-state censorship, to boot.

The following will warm the cockles of your cold heart----they say the reason the UN should be in charge is because:

“it calls on us to establish international rules, which citizens can rely on.”

The article further goes on to say:

At the time, China was leading efforts to globalize Internet control.

CHINA!!!???!!!  Isn’t that like putting Libya in charge of the UN Human Rights Commission?  China?!?!  Which just shut down tens of thousands of internet cafes?

How can we ever take these fucksticks seriously when they say crap like this?

Social Security/Retirement Plans News and Commentaries

Larry Kudlow slams the President for acting very George H.W. Bush by saying, “watch my lips, no new taxes” and then says increasing the payroll cap on social security is on the table.

Leftists and mommy government types think this is the solution:  raise the caps so that more money can flow in.

What they don’t realize is that it is a hell of an increased tax not only on people but the employers as they must match those contributions, too.  Raising taxes does not solve ANY problem.  It just increases government bureaucracy and in this case, the legal obligation of the government.

The problem is that the leftists in this country only want to go half way--they want to increase the cap but say nothing of the obligation that SS must cut even higher checks to those who contribute more.

But before we get too excited about government legal obligations, you would do well to read this little snippet:

In Flemming v. Nestor, the U.S. Supreme Court ruled in 1960 that we don’t have a legal right to a dime in Social Security benefits. Payroll taxes, said the court, are just that – taxes, not “contributions” to an assured or fail-safe program of defined benefits.

In the eyes of the law, Social Security retirement checks are no different from the subsidy checks that farmers get for not growing wheat. Either set of payouts can be reduced or eliminated by a vote in Congress.

Simply stated, Social Security is a legislated and changeable entitlement, like food stamps, and not a contract.

Where’d this little bomb come from?  Here.

This next one goes back about 2 weeks but I saved it because it is now pertinent to the subject.

It comes from the WSJ’s Pete Du Pont who reminds us of this:

“Sen. Hillary Clinton telling a California audience last summer that taxes must rise because “We’re going to take things away from you on behalf of the common good.”

Even better is what the left REALLY thinks when we read Noam Chomsky’s comments against SS privatization:

“putting people in charge of their own assets breaks down the solidarity that comes from doing something together, and diminishes the sense that people have responsibility for each other.”

That basically sums up the attitude of the Democraps:  socialism and group think are better than individual responsibility.  Government and social collectivism are the only solutions.  No independent thought or action are allowed.  1984, anyone?!?!

Mr. Du Pont does an excellent job here exposing the left for what it is and the article is worth reading in order to understand why he ends it this way:

And that is why today’s very liberal Democratic Party is so vehemently arguing against personal ownership of Social Security market accounts. The government’s Social Security system is socialism’s last redoubt, and must be preserved at all costs.

The left is constantly trumpeting the “transition costs” of privatizing SS as their main argument against it.

Hey, look, even I thought there would be costs associated with this.  But this article which quotes noted economists, to include the one who recently won a Nobel Prize for economics, who say it is all so much bullshit.  Nothing but semantics.  Read it here.

Walter Williams, another noted economist, exposes the hypocrisy of the left as it concerns social security when he details for us the efforts of noted Dummycraps who opposed President Clinton’s plan to force almost 5 million currently exempt employees into SS.  Their argument?

They warned of the adverse impact on employees in terms of lower rates of return and lost flexibility.

Yet why is it that now the President is Republican that they can’t support privatization---which is exactly what those 5 million currently have?

Governor Ah-Nold is giving them hell in California. I almost shit when I read that California’s contributions to retirement plans has gone from $160 million in 2000 to $2.6 BILLION!!!! this year!!  (that is a 16 fold increase!)

You gotta love this:

At CalSTRS, four of the governor’s own appointees voted against his plan, which led Schwarzenegger to retaliate by firing them, a move his critics dubbed the “Thursday afternoon massacre.”

And here are some ideas from 7 investment gurus about where we should put that SS privatization money.  Some of these guys think anything would be fair game but on this I disagree.

Social Security is meant to be something that would keep people from being totally broke in old age.  As such, any investment plan should be limited to 5 index funds (S&P, Midcap; World, Total Stock Market, Bonds) a balanced fund and cash instruments (CDs, money markets, etc.)

Expenses are infinitesimally small and potential for defrauding investors low.

Now go forth and privatize!!!!!!!!!

Finally!!!  Common Sense!!!

Virginia lawmakers have crossed a threshold that I hope many other states will soon cross---they are banning any state or local benefits to illegals.

About damned time!

Of course, the legislature is republican and easily passed this measure.

The problem is the governor who is a Dummycrap and presidential hopeful in ‘08 for the Dims.  He’s already vetoed legislation that would have forced illegals to pay out-of-state tuition.

Now here is something I do not understand.  They are illegal.  They broke our laws.

Why is it when we find them that we do not kick them out and allow them to get benefits?  Get them the FUCK out of this country!

Of course, the ACLU opposes this state measure!  DUH!!!!  I thought ACLU stood for AMERICAN Civil Liberties.  Not ILLEGAL IMMIGRANT civil liberties?

We Must Not Be Getting The Whole Story Here

Surely this kid was some troublemaker from way past.  Maybe he assaulted other kids.  Maybe he sexually harassed teachers.  When you think about it though, in today’s politically correct climate, none of the aforementioned offenses ARE grounds for dismissal.

But shoot a rubber band at a teacher? HEAVENS!!!

And the clarion cry goes out from academia to all barking moonbats:

“Expel him immediately!!!!”

“He must like guns!!!!!”

“He’s an extreme right winger!”

“Why, he’ll be making guns from pieces of wood next!  He’ll be drawing pictures of cowboys shooting Injuns!  KICK HIM OUT!”

“WE MUST PROTECT THE OTHER CHILDREN!!!!”
