skull cracker on the loose after open prison day release, kids killing teachers, just another day

Interesting and very short item caught in the morning paper.

Never mind the question , what’s it take to get arrested?

One has to wonder just what it takes to get put away when given 13 life sentences.

A bank robber who has been dubbed “the skull cracker” is on the run.

He was allowed out of prison on short term release. Apparently 13 life terms means he was still safe enough for an open prison.

On release even though, he has a long history of violence. I guess skull cracker isn’t a joke then. Who wouldda thought?
AND ... he also has a history of prison escapes.

But hey. What the hell. Give the guy a break and let him loose on his word he’ll be nice and return.  Well he didn’t. He surprised everyone by breaking his promise. It’s getting so that these days, you can’t even trust the word of a criminal.

Meanwhile, in the world of budding criminals.
A week ago a boy of 15, (they’re always troubled you know) has killed his teacher. He stabbed her in front of the class.

One girl, from his art class, said: ‘He was very bright though, he was in the top sets for everything and was good at drawing too. I’ve heard he comes from a loving family”.
Sound familiar?

Not to be outdone .... a few days after that news broke, two girls age 14 carried knives to school for the purpose of stabbing one of their teachers, just for the exercise.  They were undone only because they were overheard.

And today comes word that two 10 year old boys in primary school attempted to poison their teacher. She was warned by other kids not to drink her coffee, which was found to be spiked.  The school in Warwickshire has declined to say what punishment was given to the little darlings.  Most likely none that would make any difference.

And worth every penny too.

OK so .... the sell price is only the beginning. There’s upkeep and grounds and all sorts of other neat stuff. But I could see living here.
Get a printing press and make my own money.

Wife on some sort of diet that’s making me crazy. Or is it just dizzy? Or both?

Tickerage Mill, near Uckfield, East Sussex, was bought by Vivien Leigh for just £20,000 in 1961 and, after she died of tuberculosis in 1967, her ashes were scattered on the pond of the country estate.

Estate agents say interest in the property has soared since its current owners, Ken and Honer Hoggins, decided to sell up.

Political illustrators ( I was told not to call em cartoonists but isn’t this the same?) seem always (almost always) to nail the issue with a pic and a few words. Sometimes they do it with no words at all.

In case any here missed a previous posting on the topic ....

The British Government has ordered inspections of 15 schools in Birmingham after allegations they are being taken over by Islamic hardliners. A row has been brewing in the UK’s second largest city for weeks since the local council received an anonymous letter alleging a plot to force a change of leadership at four state-run schools.
The aim was apparently to impose a conservative religious agenda, turning parents against head teachers by telling them the school is corrupting their children with sex education, promotion of homosexuality and making them take part in Christian prayers.
Unnamed school staff have since made accusations about gender segregation and the bullying of non-Muslim staff.
The central English city has one the highest Muslim populations in the country. The 2011 census found 22 per cent of residents were Muslim, compared to 4.8 per cent nationwide.

TWO HEADLINES, SAME STORY.  SIGN OF THE TIMES.

Two different headlines from two different conservative papers covering the same story.

The Telegraph is the more responsible and less tabloid in their approach.
But the Mail?
The Daily Mail is a whole other country.

It isn’t a pleasant story and to be honest, it has all the elements to make an oldster like myself much concerned about the future. 

I think the care home in the following story could have handled this a lot better. They could have spoken to the old fellow and heard what he had to say.  But their reaction was typical of the informers and jobsworths and the politically correct lemmings that populate the world today. 

First, from The Telegraph.

He was arrested for administering a toxic substance and his subsequent bail conditions bar him from seeing his wife until the end of the month.
Mr Compton insisted the treatment had been prescribed by a doctor. “It’s a patch. Nobody ever killed anybody with a patch. I don’t understand why they needed to arrest me. I was just trying to help my wife and I didn’t know it was against the rules,” he said.

RAF hero, 83 arrested and locked up for seven hours – for taking painkillers to his wife in a care home

AN 83-year-old grandfather was arrested and banned from seeing his wife of 60 years after he gave her painkiller patches during a visit to her care home.
Walter Crompton took in the prescription medication – which contains morphine – when his wife Eileen complained about pain from arthritis.

But suspicious workers at the care home in Manchester called the police and the devoted husband was arrested for ‘administering a noxious substance’.
The RAF veteran was then detained for more than eight hours – seven of which were spent in a cell on his own without any food. He was asked to give fingerprints and a DNA sample and his house was searched, before he was interviewed by officers at midnight.

Mr Crompton was eventually released and taken home at 1am – but as part of his bail conditions he was barred from contacting his 83-year-old wife or visiting the care home. He now has to be supervised during his visits and could still be charged. If convicted, he could be jailed for up to five years.
Last night Mr Crompton said he had been treated as if he was a ‘drug dealer’ and ‘hardened criminal’ for giving his wife the patches she had been prescribed by a doctor for more than six years.
‘I have been her carer for 15 years, to arrest me over a criminal act is crazy. I used to look after her 24 hours a day so I know what she can and can’t have.
‘They put me in a police van and locked the cage. I have never been in trouble in 83 years. The police banged me in a cell. I have never been in a cell, I’ve only seen stuff like that on television.’
At midnight they sent for a solicitor and took me into the interview room where I was interviewed for 45 minutes.
‘Fortunately the solicitor said this is ridiculous and I got home at 1.10am.’
Mr Crompton was at first not allowed to see his wife. From yesterday his bail conditions were changed so that he can visit her – but only with a supervisor.
He said: ‘A woman is going to tell me when I can see my wife.
‘If I want to go at one o’clock she has to agree otherwise I can’t see her. You don’t want somebody sat there when you are seeing your wife.

Mr Crompton, who was an aircraft engineer, joined that RAF aged 20 and was based in North Wales and Germany.

Wonder What They Aren’t Telling Us Here?

[ Monday, The Cumberland Hotel, Mayfair district of London, right outside of Hyde Park. One of the very toniest corners of town ] A woman is critically ill and two others suffered serious but not life-threatening injuries after an intruder attacked them with a hammer at a London hotel.

The three women, all in their 30s and from the United Arab Emirates, suffered head and facial injuries during the attack at the Cumberland hotel in Mayfair early on Sunday, the Metropolitan police said. They are treating it as attempted murder.

Officers were called at 1.50am. They believe a man entered a guest bedroom on the seventh floor of the building where the three women and three children were sleeping in adjoining rooms.

It is understood that the three women, who are all from the United Arab Emirates, had deliberately left their door unlocked because they were staying in the hotel as part of a large family group.  They were sleeping with three children, who were unharmed, in two adjoining rooms.

The wealthy family, who had come to London for shopping and sightseeing, arrived in the UK between April 3 and 5 and the women had visited large West End stores on Saturday. No keys were stolen from the hotel and police said there had been no breach of security at the venue. Detectives are scouring CCTV to establish the movements of both the women and their attacker earlier in the day.  The Cumberland Hotel is near Europe’s busiest shopping street, Oxford Street, and has 1,000 rooms including a Jimi Hendrix suite.

[ Wednesday ] Police investigating a hammer attack on three female tourists in an upmarket London hotel arrested four people last night.

The women - all from the United Arab Emirates - were attacked at the four-star Cumberland Hotel yards from Oxford Street on Sunday night.

The assault in the 1,000-bedroom hotel has left Khalood Al Muhairi, 36, fighting for her life. She is said to be in an induced coma.

Her sisters Fatimah Al Muhairi, 31, and 34-year-old Ohoud Al Muhairi are recovering at a London hospital.

Police investigating the attack arrested three men aged 56, 34 and 32 in Islington, north London, on suspicion of attempted murder and a 31-year-old woman on suspicion of handling stolen goods.

[ Thursday ] A fifth person was arrested on Thursday by detectives investigating the hammer attack on three Emirati sisters in their London hotel room.

Jaffar Nasser Al Najjar, the 70-year-old father of the three women, spoke to The National earlier this week saying he had been left devastated. “My heart is broken to a million pieces and I can’t do anything except to pray that they return safely,” he said.

The British ambassador to the UAE Dominic Jermey said: “After such an appalling incident, our hearts go out to the victims and their families. This is a terrible time for them and I know that all of us from the British community here in the UAE are deeply saddened at the injuries they have suffered.

Don’t See This Too Often

A Queen’s Guard pointed his bayonet-tipped rifle at a member of the public outside Buckingham Palace when an argument erupted with a police officer, it has emerged.

The soldier left his post to intervene when the man refused to stop shouting at the officer outside the palace gates on Friday.

A photograph published in the Sun on Sunday shows the guard pointing his bayonet-fixed rifle towards the man’s face while standing next to the police officer.

A Metropolitan police spokesman said: “Police were made aware of a disturbance at the north-centre gate of Buckingham Palace at approximately 5.50pm on Friday April 4.

“Officers from Royalty Protection spoke to a man and he was given words of advice and there were no arrests.”

The Queen’s Guard are a contingents of soldiers charged with guarding the Palace but carry a largely ceremonial role.

The guard involved is not believed to be facing any action over the incident. An army spokesman said: “We are aware of an incident outside Buckingham Palace on Friday and while no one came to any harm and there were no arrests, we are very clear that the Metropolitan police lead on royal security arrangements including outside the palace itself.”

Buckingham Palace declined to comment.

Yeah, that’s a guy in the picture. No woman would wear pearl earrings with that blouse.

My post on Barnes Wallis, “Winning the war with weeds and seawater: the geodetic airframe” is taking far longer than expected. Just too darn many links and too many interesting side tracks. Like why the Pidgeon Process for isolating magnesium is so bad for Climate Change.

So here’s a picture  of Islamic Rage Boy with a pancake on his head  of the new bridge going up 3 hills over here, the new white bridge on White Bridge Road.

Pretty neat, huh? It’s a half connected Warren pony truss. But what makes it super neat is that the bridge was designed to carry modern loads while still looking like an old time bridge. So note the lacing between the beams, and the extensive use of rivets on the gusset plates. Cool. Because the folks in the neighborhood really really loved their old iron bridge (ca 1898), but it was just too beat up, too rotted away, and too weak to do the job any longer. 

If the rain lets up, I’ll run down to the job site today and get some fresh pictures. For now, here’s a link.

And Barnes Wallis? What a genius. What an amazing natural engineer. If Wallace, from the claymation films featuring Wallace and Gromit wasn’t named in his honor, he ought to have been. Cracking toast, what a brain he had.

Never heard of him? Actually, you probably have. He’s the WWII Dam Busters guy, but that was one of his lesser accomplishments.

On May 16, 1943, 19 aircraft took off from RAF Scampton, Lincs, to fly to Germany’s industrial heartland and destroy the heavily-defended Mohne, Eder and Sorpe dams on the River Ruhr.

The Lancasters were carrying 9,000lb of ­“glorified dustbins” – bouncing bombs designed by Sir Barnes Wallis, the “wizard boffin” immortalised in the gung-ho 1955 film The Dambusters.

Almost half of the 113 airmen who took off on that historic mission never made it back.

Hopgood and Byers were among the 53 British, American, Canadian, Australian and New Zealand airmen killed.

Three others were shot down and taken prisoner while 1,294 people on the ground in Germany were killed – many prisoners in forced labour camps.

cameras catch abuse by those who are supposed to give aid and care

Just so ya know …. this wasn’t national health. Yikes … 3g a week?  So in American terms ….. $4,952.50.  A WEEK?  That’s what it says in the paper.  And they’re out on bail.  Makes one scared to death (no puns there) of ever ending up in care of any sort and unable to do anything.  At some point in time as you’ll read, some family members complained about care and were banned from the care center.  If this had been some out of pocket family on the NHS, I wonder if the evil scum who were finally brought to book would have been found out.  The case goes back to 2012, and so we must assume these two scum are only now answering to misdeeds.

Two carers have been filmed slapping, jabbing and humiliating a brain-damaged patient as he lay groaning in bed at a £3,000-a-week Priory hospital.

Rita Page, 68, and Lynette Crook, 33, were caught smacking the young victim’s legs and swearing at him as they changed his bedding in Bury, Greater Manchester.

On the secretly-filmed tape, Page can be heard saying: ‘You won’t beat us, b******. There’s this very fine line between abuse and neglect.’
And Crook is heard saying: ‘Better not think about being sick on me lad. I don’t do sick, so stop it scummy lad. Don’t you dare be sick on me boy, don’t you dare - you dirty, scummy boy.’

The footage was filmed between August 28 and September 19 in 2012 by the patient’s family who were worried about his treatment at the privately-run hospital.

Believing their concerns had not been addressed by senior staff, they hid surveillance cameras around the man’s room at The Priory Highbank Centre specialist hospital for neurological treatment.
After a court case yesterday, the victim’s uncle said: ‘All institutions must be brought to justice and we wanted to make sure these two women were brought to account for what they did.
‘We were very concerned about the treatment our relative was getting and we made that many complaints that two family members got banned from the premises.
A spokesman for The Priory Highbank Centre said: ‘Everyone at the company deeply regrets the unacceptable actions of these two members of staff - both of whom had over 10 years’ service and previously unblemished records.

Astonishing: Crook (pictured) pleaded guilty to three charges relating to her jabbing the patient in the torso and head with a pen whilst he was asleep, using abusive language and slapping his leg while taking blood pressure.

Ten years service and good record?  What’s that mean?

This is the first time either had been caught on camera with proof.

pc outrage, as train conductor tells passengers, ‘beware gipsies and pickpockets’

Soon as I saw this, even before I finished reading all of the morning paper, I knew it had to be shared,
What a bunch of phoneys.

I think his comment should be seen as a public service announcement.

I’d be greatly willing to bet that most of the “anger” is nothing more than one or maybe two pol. correct schmucks, who really aren’t angry but think they should be.

What was racist about the comment?  And btw, it was something you’d be warned about at many train and bus stations by tour guides on the continent.
And may remind the readers, it only takes one complaint by one idiot who says he or she is “offended”, to launch a police investigation.

Fuckin people today are total loons I swear they are. And worse of course are complete idiots who buy into this and are in positions of authority.

Pickpockets be aware, are a continuing and growing menace on this side of the Atlantic.  And Roma Gypsies lead the pack, training their young to carry on the family (and cultural) tradition.  They are worthless slime, they pollute the very air more advanced cultures must breathe.  But the very first group that ought to be deleted, are the pc ass-wipes who defend them, as well as the dupes and fools like the people mentioned in the story below, who take it upon themselves to be, “offended”.
I don’t want them offended. I want them graveyard dead.

Train passengers were astonished when the conductor told them to ‘beware of gipsies’ as they pulled in to a station.

The London Midland service was stopping in Shropshire on Saturday when the announcer said: ‘Now approaching Telford Central. Beware of gipsies and pickpockets.

‘Many passengers and residents reacted with disgust at the offensive comments.

(How many were the many?  Two? Three?  A guess? One and a half ? )

Father-of-three Mark Peaker, 47, from Telford, said: ‘I couldn’t believe what I was hearing – they have not only used a derogatory term they have managed to offend an entire town.
‘Somebody in a professional role should not be insulting places while they are working.

‘I’m all for them having a sense of humour but this was not funny at all and I hope he is disciplined.’

The Gipsy Council today called for the matter to be taken up with the police and branded the remarks racist.

Bill Kerswell, a spokesman for the council, said: ‘This is unlawful, it is a racist comment.
‘It is the same as using any offensive word relating to homosexuals or people of colour.

‘I would think it is a police matter and I hope they take it up and look into it.’

A London Midland spokesman said the operator had been unaware of the incident but had launched an investigation, adding: ‘We do not tolerate any sort of comment of that kind made by anyone on our trains.’

This bmews reader, is what this country has sadly become. I hate to see it and hear it.  Wanna guess what the next generation is being filled with in schools?

A businessman whose office was vandalised was arrested and hauled through the courts after he put up a poster branding the prime suspect a ‘dirty pervert drug dealing grass’.

Nazier Din, 44, was infuriated when police told him no one would be prosecuted for smashing his office window with a brick.

The name of the suspected culprit was handed to police but they said they could not press charges because of a lack of evidence.

So company director Mr Din put a large sign over the boarded-up window, which expressed his view of the suspect without naming him.

He was astonished when police said the suspect had complained about the sign and warned him he could face arrest for public order offences for causing ‘distress and alarm’.

So then he taped over the word ‘pervert’ and added a disclaimer apologising for any distress to the public.

But police were not satisfied and Mr Din was arrested and later charged with using threatening, abusive or insulting words – behaviour likely to cause harassment, alarm and distress.

The father of two then faced two months of legal wrangling over the case in the courts – and a £1,000 legal bill – before finally agreeing to a police caution.

Last night Mr Din, from Bury, Greater Manchester, who has run a successful accident management and car hire firm for 12 years, condemned police and courts for failing to side with victims of crime.

He said he was appalled that the vandal, who caused £2,500 worth of damage, will face no punishment.

And he claimed he put up the sign only after he had been repeatedly goaded by the individual he suspected of committing the crime in the first place.

OK so .... what was on that sign that brought in the plod?  Musta been been pretty bad.  Take a look at this outrageous bit of anti social behavior.

Well maybe not so dumb and dense after all.  She gets a million for what?

Getting drunk and getting injured.
But it isn’t her fault. Oh no. It’s the Navy that let her down. Yup .. she’s a Lieutenant in the Royal Navy?

Skank.

Here’s what happened.

She fell down. OK, she fell down 30 feet. Ouch. BUT, the bitch was was drunk at the time. So who is at fault. Well obviously not her. No, the Navy is to blame. The other participants in the fun night building human pyramids, with her on the very top. From which, she fell. And broke her back. Told she might never walk again, she was up and walking with sticks 6 weeks later. Although she still needed a wheelchair, she got out of that to get married, and with special equipment has been scuba diving and snowboarding.
By the way .... she’s still in the Navy. Oh yeah. They can’t dump her. She’s female and has extra special rights. Gee, too bad she’s white or she might get even more. Anyway, she is on the Paralympic basketball team. Isn’t that nice?
She has become a poster girl for the navy which celebrates her sporting achievements on its website, according to the press. I do not wish her well.
There are service people who have had limbs blown off who get half what she did, and all this ugly duckling did was get drunk and fall 30 feet.

Following a six-year legal battle she won a payout of £1million – ($ 1,663,222 ) nearly double the maximum £570,000 compensation given by the Ministry of Defence to soldiers with the most severe battlefield injuries such as paratrooper Ben Parkinson.

He lost his legs when he was blown up by a mine in Afghanistan in 2006.

Lt Wallace, who is from Ardrishaig in western Scotland, took up wheelchair basketball in 2009 and made her debut representing Great Britain at the BT Paralympic World Cup in Manchester in May 2011.

muslim takeover of uk schools? hoax or for real?  Read this space.

I heard this on the radio last night for the first time.
This story is new but the activity of the members of the rop is not. And they have been doing this for awhile.  I’ve been banging on for years about 5th columns and people hiding behind screens and infiltrating, yadda,yadda and blah, blah.  But this reportage really is new if not surprising to anyone here. But it’s damned dangerous and can not be left unchecked.
Wanna bet tho .... it will.  These bastards will think of something. They always do. Meanwhile, Britain’s borders remain pretty much open, in spite of how hard some are working to keep out the undesirables.

Revealed: Islamist plot dubbed ‘Trojan Horse’ to replace teachers in Birmingham schools with radicals

Birmingham city council has warned of an alleged dirty tricks campaign
It has documents purporting that non-Muslim teachers are being targeted
Islamic fundamentalists allegedly want to replace them with radicals
Called Trojan Horse, the operation has reportedly succeeded in places
The documents reveal a plan for the operation to target other cities

Muslim fundamentalists are plotting to take over state schools, according to leaked documents.

Activists have launched a campaign to oust headteachers using dirty tricks such as spreading false allegations and packing governing bodies with their supporters.

The plot, which ringleaders have named Operation Trojan Horse, has emerged in documents drawn up by the group and leaked to a local newspaper.

The dossier names several schools in the Birmingham area as targets of alleged plots.

The authors of the documents discuss extending the ‘jihad’ operation to Bradford and Manchester – cities with rapidly growing Muslim populations.

‘Recruit parents, turn them against the head, then target other cities’

The Trojan Horse documents appear to be correspondence between a Birmingham-based Muslim fundamentalist and an acquaintance in Bradford.

They outline a five-point guide for taking over a school and encourage expanding the operation to Bradford and then Manchester.

The recipient is first urged to identify any Salafi parents – Muslim fundamentalists – sending pupils to the school.

‘They are always the most committed to the faith and are hardliners in that regard and once charged up they keep going for longer,’ the documents say.

‘When the parents have been identified, we start to turn them against the headteacher and leadership team.

‘The only way to do this is to tell each parent that the school is corrupting their children with sex education, teaching about homosexuals, making their children pray Christian prayers and mixed swimming and sport.

‘If you can get them to be very vocal in the playground as they drop off or pick up their children that will stir up other parents.

‘The parents MUST be given direction and told not to discuss this with anyone, you only need a maximum of four parents to disrupt the whole school, to send in complaints to question their child’s education and to contact their MP and local authority.’

Further steps are to ‘parachute in’ Muslim governors to ‘drip-feed our ideal for a Muslim school’ and galvanise staff to urge the council to investigate the school.

The document stresses the importance of having ‘an English face among the staff group to make it more believable’.

Anonymous letters should then be circulated to MPs, press and ministers.

The documents state: ‘All these things will work toward wearing the head down, removing their resolve and weakening their mindset so they eventually give up.’

The documents state: ‘Operation Trojan Horse has been very carefully thought through and is tried and tested within Birmingham, implementing it in Bradford will not be difficult for you.’

The operation, the papers say, has been fine-tuned so that it is ‘totally invisible to the naked eye and allows us to operate under the radar’.

They go on: ‘I have detailed the plan we have in Birmingham and how well it has worked and you will see how easy the whole process is to get the headteacher out and our own person in.’

State schools with poor Ofsted reports and with large Muslim pupil populations should be targeted for takeover, the writer says: ‘The poor performing schools are easy to disrupt, the better performing with strong head teachers are much harder and so we have to manufacture a strong enough reason, but rest assured we have not failed yet, no matter how difficult removing the head teacher may be.

‘You just have to be clever and find the most appropriate way to deal with the school.’

The documents add: ‘This is all about causing the maximum amount of organised chaos and we have fine-tuned this as part of operation Trojan Horse. You must identify what the heads’ strengths are and build a case of disruption around that.’

Salafi Islam is a strong fundamentalist version of the faith that seeks to rid itself of modern-day ‘impurities’. Followers believe in strict adherence to the Koran.

They argue worshipers have lost touch with the true nature of the religion and want to revert to the ancient form of Islam. Salafi comes from the root word ‘ancestors’.

If all the above is true and it is not a hoax of some kind, the one place in the article that had me look 2wice was the use of the word, “whilst”.  That word is so Brit in origin, it leads me to believe whoever wrote it is a hoaxer or, most probably, a home grown jihadist.

Even if it turns out to be true, for awhile there will be a lot of very loud noise which as always will fade, and they will go about their business which of course is, their war against the west and modernity.  They will do so with the connivance as always, of the far left and anarchists of every stripe.
Because, should you ask, those are the rats the west is infected with and those are the ones calling the shots in today’s world. If that were not true, you would not be living in a world of the politically correct.

Oh boy. Can you imagine it folks?  The EU with it’s own CIA? OK, MI5. Same thing innit?  By which I mean to say, spies, spooks, intel. Yes?
Scary stuff. Come to think of it, I’m surprised they don’t have it already.

Eurocrats will demand that Britain give ‘rights without borders’ to EU migrants.

In a move certain to spark a new row with Westminster, EU Commissioner Viviane Reding is pressing for a ‘fully functioning common area of justice’.

Most controversially, citizens would be able to ‘enjoy the same rights they have at home in another Member State’ - potentially importing a string of onerous new rules and obligations to the UK.

Wow. Can you imagine if the USA were told it had to open it’s ........ oh right. They already are. Unless you’re a law abiding white person.

In a pointed reference to Britain, Ms Reding said new rules were vital at a time when ‘the right to free movement of EU citizens is being challenged by some’.

The Government is currently facing a string of legal battles with Brussels over attempts by the Prime Minister to restrict some of the benefits paid to migrants.

Ms Reding’s blueprint will be presented to a meeting of the EU Justice Council in Brussels, attended by Chris Grayling, today.

The commissioner - who also wants the EU to establish its own version of MI5 - is seeking a formal agreement by the end of the week.

Migrants would be expected to enjoy uniform rights, such as those laid down by the European Union’s controversial Charter of Fundamental Right ,which includes the right to strike and collective bargaining.

Documents drawn up by Ms Reding, who is from Luxembourg, says there are currently 14million EU citizens residing in a Member State of which they are not a national - including around 2.3million in the UK.

Last night, a Whitehall source said: ‘Heaven knows why we keep seeing proposals like this appearing. This may be Commissioner Reding’s vision for the future, but there’s no appetite in this country for our justice system to be ‘Europeanised’. This is just more mission creep out of Brussels.’

Ms Reding also wishes set-up a dedicated intelligence agency to rival MI5, MI6 and GCHQ. She says the new spy agency is needed to keep track on the surveillance activities of GCHQ.

The UK taxpayer would be expected to pick up a huge bill for funding the new agents.

It follows claims that GCHQ, in partnership with America’s National Security Agency, has been carrying out mass surveillance on EU citizens, diplomats and heads of State.

Well now ... when I said insanity in a post earlier today ... I did not have this in mind. First, who could possibly imagine this bit of total loony tunes?
I had not yet seen this one or I might have posted it first. Better late than never.

OK wait a minute.

Either this is a very early April 1st send up, or the tea at the kop shop has something illegal in it. Come on. This just can not be real.

Police ask the public to identify knife-wielding robber using THIS picture where his face is completely hidden then say they can’t call him a suspect because it would breach his HUMAN RIGHTS

With his face covered by a makeshift balaclava and a knife gripped in his right hand during a robbery at a bookmakers, it is probably safe to say this man is up to no good.

CCTV footage also shows him threatening a cashier at Ladbrokes in the east Dorset village of West Moors before making off with cash from the till.

But today the county’s over-cautious force refused to call him a suspect in the violent crime, in case it breaches his human rights.

And detectives have appealed for the public to help identify him - even though his face is impossible to see - and even hope he might come forward himself.

A force spokesman maintained today the man in the photos is not necessarily the robber, just ‘someone we want to talk to’ in connection with the attack.

This is because Dorset Police believe calling him a wanted man could impact on his ‘right to a fair trial’, and they say they would treat any person potentially involved in a crime in the same way.

They have also failed to issue a description of the robber, leaving out key details such as his height, build and accent.

Members of the public who are being asked to help name the offender took to internet message boards to poke fun at the appeal.

One wrote: ‘This has to be a wind up. Not sure what’s more laughable, the detective asking the man to contact him - errr do you really think that’s likely? - or the CCTV image showing a man with his face completely obscured from view?’

Detective Constable James Lee, the investigating officer, said: ‘I am now able to release CCTV images of the man I wish to speak with.

‘I urge the man pictured - and anyone who recognises him - to contact me, in confidence, as soon as possible.

‘I also would like to hear from anyone who saw this man enter or leave the premises around the time of the incident.’

When asked about the fact that the suspect’s face is hidden, a force spokesman said: ‘We are looking for people to identify the man, not just his face.

‘We are not suggesting the man in the pictures is the suspect, just someone we want to talk to.’

The spokesman confirmed that no arrests have been made in connection to the raid.
