Nice Try Suckas

I’m having one of those days when I have to mess with my PC. And that is taking hours. No viruses or anything bad, it just needed some TLC. I’ve had this machine for 11 years now, upgraded from Win 98 to XP, and I need it to run another 3 years at least. So it needs a bit of tweaking now and again, because I can’t afford to drop $2K on a new and improved machine just yet.

No Defense Against Jack-In-The-Box Missiles
All that was old is new again, so let’s drag up those Cold War fears and apply them to today’s rogue nation terrorist states. Throw in a little bit of modern technology, and voila! Large scale terrorist attack system, literally in a box. For sale to the highest bidder now, but soon to be on the shelves at your local War-Mart. Unless you build your own out in the back yard. Because, duh, it really is that easy.
The Russian company Concern Morinformsystem-Agat is marketing a deadly new weapon [ called the Club-K system ], one that can allow a rogue state to overcome the technological superiority of Western militaries. The system can even be used to carry out devastating attacks on the U.S. homeland with little means of defense.
The system, as seen in its promotional video, allows a weak nation to strike the land and sea targets of a superior force by placing cruise missiles into any type of 40 foot container. The video uses a ship, truck and train as examples of potential launching platforms. This means that once this weapon is sold, any of these transportation vehicles have to be seen as missile pads.
The West normally relies upon advanced surveillance to detect and monitor such pads so that prior notice of a launch can be achieved, allowing for the site to be destroyed before the missile takes off or the missile to be intercepted. This warning allows for preparations for impact to be undertaken and retaliatory measures to be evaluated. By concealing and launching the missiles from cargo containers, there is absolutely minimal time to react, as effective surveillance would require following every truck, train or ship.
In addition, these vehicles can cross borders, making it more difficult to identify the perpetrator of an attack and impossible to predict where an attack might come from. The missiles might from a shipping vessel off the coast or a truck that crossed via the Mexican border. With a range of 220 kilometers, or about 136 miles, they can either be fired from a safe distance from the border or the distance can be minimized by getting close to the target by being hidden.
It is feared that the covert Club-K missile attack system could prove “game-changing" in fighting wars with small countries, which would gain a remote capacity to mount multiple missiles on boats, trucks or railways.
Iran and Venezuela have already shown an interest in the Club-K Container Missile System which could allow them to carry out pre-emptive strikes from behind an enemy’s missile defences.
Defence experts say the system is designed to be concealed as a standard 40ft shipping container that cannot be identified until it is activated.
Priced at an estimated £10 million, each container is fitted with four cruise anti-ship or land attack missiles. The system represents an affordable “strategic level weapon”.
The general idea is nothing new. The US and the USSR both had ICBMs mounted in railway cars back in the late 50s and 60s. Ours - the Mobile Minuteman and the Peacekeeper Garrison, and theirs - photos here.
But back in the day, these missiles were mounted in special freight cars, and driven around by special trains. Now the entire world runs on shipping containers. They are everywhere. Go for a short drive on the highway - it’s almost a guarantee you’ll see a dozen. Hundreds of thousands of them go in and out of our ports and cross our borders every single day. They can’t all be inspected.
The Club-K design concept can be carried out in a larger and less expensive manner with ease. A standard shipping container can hold 2 old school Chinese and their launchers inside with room to spare. They can carry a half ton warhead and shoot it 300 miles in a 30 minute flight 50 feet off the ground. To low and too quick to react to for all but the best hardened and defended targets. All you’d need to do is to build a clamshell pop top lid on the shipping container.
How about taking it down several steps into the realm of uncaring terrorists? If they can’t get real ones, then build a Qassam style missile with folding fins that uses a standard 120mm or 155mm artillery shells for a warhead. Fits inside an 6” or 8” steel pipe with ease. Mount a whole bunch of them inside the container at a 45° angle and you can make the launch tubes almost 11 feet long. A little math ... stagger them in rows of 11, 10, 11, 10, etc; you can fit nearly 500 inside a single shipping container, ready to fire, mounted on an 18 wheeler. Ok, you have to consider the overall weight, so it would probably be more like 250 instead. That’s still a massive barrage. And for protection against counterbattery, it’s probably possible to light them off while the truck is moving down the highway. Hamas doesn’t care about precision accuracy. Towns are hard to miss. Just drive the truck on a road that’s pointing in the right direction. And this is a bigger Qassam than the ones they use now, so it would have a longer range.
What if each missile tube was sealed with a bit of plastic or something, so that the bomb sniffers at the ports couldn’t smell the missiles inside? The whole thing could be built to go off by remote control. A simple pressure sensor in the bottom of the container, along with a counter would know that the container went on the truck, on the ship, off the ship, on the truck, and off the truck at it’s destination. Set the timer for 12 hours and then start shooting. It would not matter where the missiles went, or even if they hit anything. The mere fact that such a container got into the country and went off would cause mass panic and bring the entire shipping infrastructure to an instant halt.
Yes, mobile missile barrage systems are a scary idea. But to design and build one to modern hi-tech spec, and then put it on the global market, is even scarier.
“What alerted me to this was that the Russians were advertising it at specific international defence event and they have marketed it very squarely at anyone under threat of action from the US.”
Reuben Johnson, a Pentagon defence consultant, said the system would be a “real maritime fear for anyone with a waterfront”.
“This is ballistic missile proliferation on a scale we have not seen before because now you cannot readily identify what’s being used as a launcher because it’s very carefully disguised.
Gee, great.

Gosh, this is what I get for avoiding the MSM and by trying to be out working as much as I can. I gather there was a great game of “pin the truck bombing on the tea party” going around the major news networks for several days. And I missed all of it. Gee whiz.
That night, Attorney General Holder said “It’s important that American people remain vigilant.” Sadly, it’s quite clear that the administration and many on the left refuse to do the same; unless it’s remaining vigilant in their pursuit of demagoguing Republicans. It’s gotten to the point where I was honestly waiting for the release of a statement from Obama, consisting of a sternly worded apology and claims that he inherited the bomber, Faisal Shahzad, from Bush.
Michael Bloomberg started the insane blame the Republicans at all costs narrative off with a bang. When asked by the elfin Katie Couric for a guess as to who the bomber could be, Bloomberg offered this:
“If I had to guess 25 cents, this would be exactly that. Homegrown, or maybe a mentally deranged person, or somebody with a political agenda that doesn’t like the health care bill or something. It could be anything,” he said.
I’d like to just shake my head and write this off as a mere tempest in a tea bag, but it’s sterling proof that Big Media works hand in glove with the left to further their agenda, and will portray any event in that light until and even after the facts prove that view to be utterly wrong.

When this truck bomb thing first happened I looked at the bomb itself and said FAIL. Then I said “follow the money”. Hmmm.
On the news this morning I hear that NYC mayor Bloomberg is using this “crisis” to justify not laying off about 900 city cops. Somehow they’ll find the $58 million to pay these guys, but they have been deemed necessary. Cut the budget somewhere else.
I also heard that Bloomberg is back on his Mayors Against Guns bully pulpit, and is again pushing his idea that anyone on a No-Fly list should be banned from purchasing firearms. And probably having their firearms seized if he had his way entirely. Funny, I don’t think there is any Due Process whatsoever involved when someone gets put on one of those lists. I don’t even know what a) groups of officials have the authority to put someone on them, nor b) what oversight that act has, nor c) what minuscule “burden of suspicion” is required to get on one. Probably a) far too many, b) and c) not very much. So let’s restrict their constitutional rights. Thanks Bloomberg. I didn’t know you and Frank Lautenberg were first cousins.
The NYC cops are unionized. Unions are powerful because they have lots of money and lots of political connections. Bloomberg is a gazillionaire.
Not trying to spin a new conspiracy theory, but I wonder ... how much does a jihadi cost? Seriously. Don’t you doubt for a second that money talks and bullshit walks - I absolutely guarantee you that for the right amount of scratch and the right behind the scenes connections, you can buy yourself a suicide bomber to target what you want, where you want, when you want, damn near anywhere in the world. And if you’re slick enough, there won’t be any kind of paper trail. A small bag of money to cousin Hassam, a small bag of money to cousin Achmed, a new used car for uncle Mo back in the old country, an untraceable cash donation for the mosque that got laundered through 8 proxies ... I bet it’s far cheaper than you think.
I would not bat an eye if, once suicide bombs and truck bombs become “normal” here - and they will!! - that they aren’t used as an almost regular business tactic.
Never let a crisis go to waste. Especially the ones you create yourself. Having followed the money, are we seeing that here? I hope not, but we will never ever know. Especially since the fully owned MSM is busy doing it’s best to try an pin this on Conservatives. Damn those dirty treasonous racist violent clingers.

Egypt denies claims it gassed terrorists in border tunnels
An Egyptian intelligence official on Thursday denied allegations leveled by Hamas that Egypt pumped gas into a cross-border tunnel used to smuggle goods into the Gaza Strip, killing four Palestinians.
Egypt has been under pressure to shut down the hundreds of tunnels that are a key economic lifeline for the blockaded Palestinian territory but which are also used to bring in weapons for the Islamic militant group.
The intelligence official confirmed that Egyptian security forces destroyed the entrances to several tunnels this week, but said that no gas was used in the operations. He said that Egypt routinely blows up the mouths to the tunnels to seal them off, and that the blast and an ensuing fire could quickly use up all the oxygen in the confined space, causing people caught inside to suffocate.
Egypt’s denial comes a day after Hamas accused Egyptian forces of killing four Palestinians by pumping gas into a smuggling tunnel. The Hamas Interior Ministry said in a statement late Wednesday that the gas used to try to clear the tunnel was poisonous. It said six people were also injured.
It was not immediately clear what evidence Hamas was basing its allegations on.
Palestinian officials in Rafah say Egypt has stepped up a crackdown on smuggling in recent months, blowing up numerous tunnel entrances on its side of the border, setting up checkpoints in the area and confiscating contraband. Since December, Egypt has also been building an underground steel wall to block the tunnels.
Rafah officials have said about four miles (six kilometers) of that barrier — covering roughly half of the border area — is already complete.
Gee, I wonder if Egypt has access to thermobaric explosives? That way both sides could be right, as I’m certain that breathing any of the unexploded gases is not good for your health. And they do tend to use up all the available oxygen, in less than a few milliseconds. FOOM.
Or this could be more BS from Hamas, which is always a good bet. Secret tunnels don’t have much ventilation, and too many rats in one at a given time will use up all the air. It’s also possible that something being smuggled blew up, in typical splodeydope fashion.
Bottom line is 4 terrorists are dead and another 6 wounded. It’s a start.

Why is it that the so-called ‘news’ doesn’t show this?

We face an increasing number of suicide murders here in the “Muslim world”—in places where suicide attacks were previously unheard of. Some people are coerced into suicide, such as the unfortunate women who were raped and defiled in Iraq, then shamed and coerced into suicide for the sake of “honor.” Or the case of a young Libyan, captured by soldiers from a unit I was with in Iraq. The Libyan was thankful for his capture: Iraqis were trying to force him to wear a suicide bomb.

A day late but no less interesting.
It isn’t funny, it’s the possible future at the rate these life forms breed. There are I am certain some very good ones among them. Unfortunately, way too many are intimated, and who can blame them for feeling fear. The militants are less then animals, hardly human at all and in fact I deny their humanity entirely. Their so called ‘honor killings’ are beyond outrageous but it’s one one many things the all too many militants would clearly love to enforce throughout the west.

IW refers to them as “hijab bullies,” though their focus is not necessarily limited to headscarves. Examples highlighted previously on this blog include a British dentist requiring patients to cover their hair and a teacher in Norway manipulating first graders into donning hijabs. However, these tactics are tame compared to recent revelations.
Consider the experiences of Shiria Khatun, a secular Muslim who serves as a Labour Party councilor in Tower Hamlets, a borough of London and an Islamist stronghold. Police are investigating claims of harassment by locals objecting to her style of dress. She explains:
They’re really disgusting. They would talk about my Western clothes, my tight jeans, and my body parts.
One man said — and it sounds much nastier in [the Bangladeshi dialect] Sylheti — “I know where you live and I’m going to come and show you and your kids.” I just hung up.
I really thought it was a pervert, but then it started to get more intense. My parents died when I was young and the callers must know that because they said they would dig up their graves and bury me inside. I think they’re sick.
Moroccan-born Fatima Ghailan, who works for the government of Cunit, Spain, has had her own run-ins with hijab bullies. Local imam Mohamed Benbrahim and Islamic Association head Abderraman el-Osri now face criminal charges of harassing, slandering, and threatening Ghailan, whose duties as a “cultural mediator” include encouraging “cloistered” Muslim females to participate in the life of the town. As the Washington Post reports, her influence over the community “was something the traditionalists could not accept — particularly because it involved a woman who refused to cover her hair.” The Telegraph elaborates:
In a statement to the court in the nearby town of Vendrells, Mrs. Ghailan, 31, said Benbrahim had harassed her and campaigned to have her removed from her job in the town hall’s cultural department purely because she had a job, dressed in a Western style, drove a car, and associated with non-Muslims.
Finally, self-appointed “morality police” have been patrolling the Muslim-heavy Grønland district of Oslo. According to Aftenposten, women passing through in Western attire can consider themselves lucky if they suffer only “aggressive looks of rebuke, scorn, and contempt.” The unlucky ones are abused by men who “touch their breasts and pinch their bottom, claiming that it’s the girls’ own fault for not covering themselves.” The vigilantes also have taken to tormenting gays and anybody caught snacking on the streets during Ramadan.
Grønland illuminates a vital truth: Islamists may start out as hijab bullies, seeking to enforce dress codes among Muslims. But they do not stop with dress codes — or with Muslims.

Norwegians Will Become a Minority in Their Own Country

There’s a news article in Norway today that says that people who speak Norwegian as mother tongue (Norwegians) may become a minority in Oslo schools by 2021.
Obviously, that’s a mild statement with some political correctness to it. It’s not a matter if it will become like that; it’s just a matter of time. So there is no “may”, just “when”.
Norwegian-speaking students are a minority at 58 elementary schools in Oslo, as shown by the results from a recent study.
During the last five years the number of schools in which Norwegian-speaking students form a minority has increased by 18, from 40 to 58.
In 2000, 31% of the students in Oslo were immigrants.
Today (2010) 40% of the students in Oslo are minorities. The number of non-Norwegian students in Oslo has increased by 1% each year, which means that Norwegians will be a minority in Oslo schools in 2021, if the trend continues.
To stop Norwegians from becoming a minority in Oslo schools, they must stop the immigration at once, send back everyone who can be sent home, and try to make others want to move home. That is what is necessary, whether people like it or not. Without doing that, we can’t stop it.
It’s high time that politicians realize this and grow a spine. But I don’t think they will. None of the politicians will do what’s required — the right wing want to institute a stricter immigration policy, which would obviously be better, but that will just slow the situation, not stop it. Even if they stop immigration entirely, the Muslims will still become more numerous than us because of their birth rate, which shows no sign of decreasing.
I think that the right wing will almost certainly win the election next time (in three years), but it remains to be seen if that will help anything at all. In the long run, I doubt it. I think what is happening in Europe can’t be stopped by politicians, because no politicians are brave and politically incorrect enough to do what must be done, which is to get 80% of the Muslim immigrants out of here.
So I believe the situation will just keep getting worse and worse, until it eventually becomes civil war or at least very violent.

Nearsighted Pirates
No apologies to John Irving for corrupting his “sorrow floats” line from The Hotel New Hampshire. Looks like those Somali Pirates could use some binoculars and a class in ship profile identification.
This is kind of like the armed robbers who try to hold up a pistol range on gun club night. Not too smart an idea.
Somali pirates attempt attack on Dutch warship
Troops aboard the Dutch warship HNLMS Tromp fired warning shots Wednesday off the coast of East Africa as suspected Somali pirates in two small skiffs raced toward their warship, the EU Naval Force said.
After the pirates realized they had made what spokesman Cmdr. John Harbour called a “rather silly mistake,” they turned around and fled. EU Naval Force personnel tracked down the two skiffs and a third suspected mothership, finding ammunition and rocket-propelled grenades on board, said Harbour, a spokesman for the EU Naval Force.
The two skiffs were destroyed and the pirates were set free on the mothership after it had been cleared of weapons.
“This morning’s attack may show a lack of sophistication in the pirate’s selection of targets, but it should be a warning to the merchant community that the pirates will try to attack any vessel on the high seas,” said Harbour.

‘I’m proud of using waterboarding to break terrorists,’ says Karl Rove
I missed taking my blood pressure meds this morning. Everything has me PO’d. I wanted to start and end today with my usual wkend ladies when I ran across a couple of things that had me seeing my usual color (RED) which isn’t even my favorite color. I am so damn tired of reading and hearing about how my country has it wrong and how we have become barbaric all because of water boarding and Gitmo etc. Then one columnist wrote about how maybe the Brit’s American cousins aren’t really that after all. Hey fuckin hey. I have very close friends among Brits and ain’t one of em a cousin. I’m tired of that phrase too. What god damn cousin? Who made us that? Did we ever ask to be your cousins? If so, I’m not aware of it. Oh and btw freeken way I HATE one professional liberal phony cousin I haven’t seen since a funeral 30 yrs ago. I wouldn’t know the other three if I fell over em.
Below are two comments posted with regard to the Rove article that started things this morning. Naturally enough I side with Mr. Rove. I have no problem with whatever our people had to do, to get information from terrorist scum. It pisses me off greatly that our critics simply take for granted that we are in the wrong.
It’s done without question. It’s automatic we’re all Nazi killers who enjoy our work and all for oil or heaven knows what the hell else.
A jackass named Peter Oborne (?whoever the hell he is?) yesterday wrote about our ‘special relationship’ being broken yadda,yadda. He went on to term the USA as “immoral” while all those empty headed lefty umin rights jerks went on about torture as well.
Why is the way in which we defend our country the business of anyone outside our country anyway? And how can they be certain that the information gathered won’t save their lives as well? In his column Oborne says, For years I’ve been a passionate admirer of the U.S. But recent events force me to ask: is it time to ditch our strongest ally? Here’s some more.
For evidence is growing that the U.S. can no longer be regarded as a loyal or trustworthy friend of Britain.
Even more worryingly, it’s no longer clear that Barack Obama’s administration represents the decent and humane values of which Britain has long been so proud.
As a result, standing by the traditional transatlantic alliance is beginning to be damaging to our reputation overseas and to our national interest.
For example, consider the appalling revelations contained in this week’s speech to the House of Lords by the former MI5 spy chief Elizabeth Manningham-Buller.
Dame Elizabeth shockingly disclosed that U.S. officials had deceived Britain over their use of torture following their capture of the Al Qaeda commander Khalid Sheikh Mohammed in 2003.
She said that when she asked why he was talking so freely to his captors, she was cynically told he was boasting because he was proud of what he’d done.
So that gives you some background on the column he wrote. You get the drift. And the grand dame Liz was shocked about our treatment of one of the masterminds of 9/11. Well fuck her and I’m sorry nobody in her family or Obornes was in either of those towers. And I am sick and fuckin tired of our country having demands made upon it, that we live UP to whatever standards some other country finds favor with. Demands we alter how we do things in our country to fall in line with how things are done elsewhere. Hey Mr. Assborne, when were you elected to office in my country? Fuck off! Don’t visit. We don’t need you or your opinions. And Dame Lizzy can go back to her kitchen and do other things.
These comments below were made following the article on Karl Rove. We do have our defenders but alas the feeling I have is that they are not in a majority.
Pity that the American goverment didn’t back up the British Army in its fight against Republican terrorists, instead we were forced by American pressure into accepting these terrorists into government.
I don’t trust these internationalist neo-cons one iota, men like Karl Rove care nothing about the British national interest, all he cares about, is forwarding the dollar empire, the New World Order of global capitalism and anarchic social agendas both of which destroy Nation States.

Now there is a man with guts and determination, not like our own lot, whimps. These terrorists have no consciences, they just kill for the sake of it and love it. Even so, they are cunning enough to use the human rights shield of protection, and the stupid human rights bigots are fooled by it too. The victims of murder and disablement have nobody to protect them like these terrorists do. Now will somebody tell us who is sane or insane in all of this. By DAILY MAIL REPORTERGeorge W Bush’s top political adviser has said he was ‘proud’ of controversial techniques such as waterboarding, which he claimed broke the will of terrorist.
Karl Rove - known as the former president’s ‘brain’ - said he did not believe that the interrogation method amounted to torture.
In an interview with the BBC, he claimed that waterboarding - which simulates drowning - had helped prevent terrorist attacks.
‘I’m proud that we used techniques that broke the will of these terrorists and gave us valuable information that allowed us to foil plots,’ he said.
‘I am proud that we kept the world safer than it was by the use of these techniques. They are appropriate, they are in conformity with our international requirements and with US law.’
Asked if he believed waterboarding was torture, he said: ‘No, it’s not. People need to read the memos that outline what was permissible and not permissible before they make a judgement about these things.’
‘Every one of the people who were waterboarded had a doctor who had to ascertain that there had been no long-lasting physical or mental damage to the individual,’ he said.
The senior Republican aide and Bush’s deputy chief of staff said in the Newsnight interview that subjects had told they would not drown before they underwent the procedure.
He insisted terror plots had been prevented by the tough interrogation, citing flying planes into Heathrow and London, bringing down aircraft over the Pacific and flying an aircraft into the tallest tower in Los Angeles.

Nobody Listens To Poor Joe B
The Palestinian President, Mahmoud Abbas, was set to withdraw from all peace talks with Israel last night after the announcement this week that 1600 apartments would be added to Jewish settlements in occupied East Jerusalem.
The announcement enraged the visiting US Vice-President, Joe Biden, who has told the Israeli Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, that it was liable to ‘’set the Middle East on fire’’.
Mr Biden blames Mr Netanyahu for the decision, telling officials on Wednesday that the United States’ close relationship with Israel was jeopardising its other bilateral relationships across the region.
How much would it cost to ship Israel about 200 million cinder blocks and 50,000 cubic yards of concrete? 1600 homes? Build 160,000!
Oh, and “occupied East Jerusalem”??? Like Gaza, and the Golan Heights? Bite me: it’s Israel. All of it.

Two things this country and the world can do without. Unions and muslims.
So there I was last night looking up flights to the USA on Brit. Air. Originally I had planned to use ship, those plans are not abandoned, but there was a very good write up in the weekend travel section of a little known flight BA runs where one can clear US Immigration at Shannon Airport. Huh? Now that’d be ideal. The filght takes an hour longer then the regular overseas flight BUT, you save time once arriving. So anyhow I’m trying to get further info and as it’s a business class flight I know it won’t be cheap. I also know that the damn union is striking BA and positions are being staffed by volunteers and I guess, strike breakers. So it is pretty risky. And then I woke up to this when I brought in the morning paper. Damn these useless bastards.
Yeah I know I’m not supposed to think this way but have to ask anyway.
Are you all certain that genocide isn’t after all, the only answer? This is a scary read. The boat’s getting to look good again. Oh right. Pirates. Can’t win these days.
BA worker ‘planned to use strike to become suicide bomber and passed on secrets to terror masterminds in Yemen’By SAM GREENHILL and PAUL SIMS
A would-be suicide bomber worked for British Airways and plotted to take advantage of cabin crew strikes to launch an attack, it was alleged yesterday.
Rajib Karim, a trusted IT expert at the airline, planned to volunteer for crew training to help keep flights running during the threatened walkouts.
He also used his access to BA’s computer systems to gain insider knowledge about airline security and pass it to terror masterminds in Yemen and Pakistan, a court heard.
Union bosses seized on the revelations to claim that passengers could be endangered by BA’s tactics for beating the planned strikes. The airline says it has more than 1,000 volunteer staff ready to work as cabin crew in the event of industrial action.
Karim, 30, was born in Bangladesh and came to Britain a few years ago to get a UK passport which would smooth his terror mission, it was claimed.
Two years ago he secured a full-time job at a BA call centre in Newcastle upon Tyne and became ‘heavily involved’ in software development.
But he had a ‘clear intention and desire’ for martyrdom and wanted to become a suicide bomber, Westminster Magistrates Court heard.
His computer allegedly contained encrypted files showing he was in contact with terrorists abroad.
Karim requested ‘permission’ from ‘those who appear to be able to give [it]’ to carry out an atrocity in the UK and suggested to colleagues in Yemen that he might be able to train as a cabin crew member to work on planes during strikes.
This would give him ‘inside knowledge’ of training and procedures that could assist in carrying out a terror attack, the court heard.
He also offered to travel to Yemen and Pakistan to train in terrorism, and suggested other people he knew who could potentially be recruited.
The court heard that Karim gave details of ways in which BA security systems and computer servers could be subjected to physical or internal attack to inflict ‘severe financial losses’.

Meet ‘Jihad Jane’: The blonde American housewife accused in Islamic plot to kill Swedish cartoonist

An American housewife who called herself ‘Jihad Jane’ has been named as part of a plot to kill a Swedish cartoonist who made fun of the Prophet Mohammed.
Colleen LaRose agreed to murder the artist, marry a terrorism suspect so he could move to Europe and martyr herself if necessary, according to court papers.
Al Qaeda put a £67,000 bounty on the head of cartoonist Lars Vilks after a newspaper published his cartoon of the Prophet Mohammed with the body of a dog in 2007.
LaRose, 46, of Pennsburg, Pennsylvania, was arrested in Philadelphia on October 15. She has been held without bail since her arrest.
Yesterday she was named as being part of the plot to kill Mr Vilks. She is accused of having online discussions about her plans with at least one of several suspects apprehended over that plot in Ireland yesterday.
