PB&J Break

Getting in a quick bite to eat, changing into shorts now that it’s warmed up, and going back out to paint some more.

At some point today I have to get down to the garden center and order a yard and a half of topsoil. The bulbs are shipping next week. Well, some of them. I have to contact the other vendor and see what their ship date is. Right. So the big day is coming. I can’t wait.

Ok, let’s go earn some more money.

Berliners will deflate when they realise what Mrs Merkel has done in their name.

This article comes with 29 photos, which isn’t my focus at all.

Take out all the photos and article isn’t too long, and it is of interest.

For myself and perhaps you might agree, the part that stands out the most, the one thing that says WAKE THE HELL UP, comes in the last page of a two page hard copy article.  In fact, it’s the final two lines of the story that have the impact and make one sit up.

So that’s what I present here.

The very end of the article.

Should you want to read and see it all .... here’s a link.

SOURCE FOR FULL STORY

warned by a Syrian minister that two in every 100 people in the camps are ISIS jihadists trying to slip into Europe undetected.
Europe is witnessing the biggest inward migration since World War II.

In the first six months of this year, 450,000 migrants registered with the German authorities.
There were 105,000 asylum applications in August, and 37,000 in the first week of this month. Germany says it expects these to reach a total of 800,000, or even more, by the end of 2015.

And still they try to come. In the age of the internet, social media and mobile phone, Germany’s invitation to Syrians is common knowledge in tea houses across Africa and the Middle East, luring more migrants to set off. Visiting a Berlin asylum processing centre, where she was cheered by migrants, Mrs Merkel promised last week that Germany would give a ‘good future’ to everyone.

It is a far cry from five years ago, when she said a multi-cultural society in Germany had ‘utterly failed’. Now, she tells her citizens: ‘Being a country to which so many want to migrate should be a source of pride.’ The irony is that she’s unlikely to be understood by many migrants, even those who have been in Germany for some time.

Take Syrian Muslim Mohamad Dugmush, once a Damascus restaurant manager, who is struggling to speak German after arriving in February 2014.
Mr Dugmush, in his 40s, moved to Berlin when his asylum application was approved. In July this year, he brought in his wife Amani, their daughter and four young sons.

The family have been allocated a three-room apartment, near the coffee bar where I met Mohammad and his friends in Neukolln, where 40 per cent of residents are of non-German origin.

Mr Dugmush and his wife get more than £500 a month, plus free housing and extra benefits, for their five children. It is far more than he earned in Syria.

‘I live on a street with a German name, which is nicknamed locally as Arab Strasse,’ he told an American TV channel proudly last month. ‘When I go outside, and everyone speaks Arabic, I smile.

‘Near my house, I have a mosque. My wife is wearing a veil. When she goes out, nobody speaks badly to her because she is among Muslims. I feel thankful for Germany.’

OK ..... in photo terms, here’s the money shot. Whatcha think?

Saudi Arabia is offering to finance the building of 200 mosques in Germany to cater for the new generations of Muslims.

One can only wonder if the spirits of ordinary Berliners will deflate like those balloons when they realise what Mrs Merkel has done in their name.

still churning

Still plugging away here. Trying to find the right groove to fit an ever expanding amount of job into my life.

Looks like the painting project has become almost permanent. At first it was “just scrape off where the paint has bubbled up and repaint that part.” Which I did, but the new paint doesn’t dry exactly the same shade as the old paint, so I gather there were a bunch of complaints. So now it’s “Scrape where needed and repaint the whole facade anyway.” Which quadruples the amount of painting needed. It’s going to take more than 200 hours of labor to do all the garages here. At 2 to 4 hours labor a day, M-F, weather and seasons permitting, using a paint that ought to last a decade or more. And Winter is coming. So I’d call it steady work for at least a year. Not bad for a 2 hour per day job.

OMG, I’m going to have to dig out a travel mug for my morning guard duties. Pack it full of Triple espresso rocket fuel. It is so boring. For the first hour there is hardly even any traffic coming by. So it’s just me, alone, sitting there in my little box. MUST. KEEP. EYES. OPennnnnn ....

Screw the bastards. Let em all starve. Film and then show as entertainment.
They are vermin, scum, invaders who somehow believe they have a right to be wherever they set their ass down.  And while we’re at it, F*** the UN!

State of Emergency Declared in Hungary as Refugees Stage Hunger Strike

United Nations vows to find alternative routes allowing refugees to flood into Europe

by KURT NIMMO | INFOWARS.COM |

Refugees on the Hungarian-Serbian border have declared a sit-down hunger strike in response to not being allowed to cross into Hungary and proceed to Germany and other destinations in Europe, according to Twitter posts.

Hungary has declared a state of emergency in two of its southern counties, reportedly Bacs-Kiskun and Csongrad. The government has warned refugees they will be arrested if they attempt to break through a fence erected along the border with Serbia.

Refugees have gathered along the border demanding entry into Hungary and the EU. “Open border, open border!” they demanded, according to a Reuters reporter.

The border was officially closed at midnight on Monday and refugees from Syria and Afghanistan were turned back.

Serbia has protested the border closure. “Europe has to find a solution fast before the situation escalates even further. This border crossing, one of the main ones in Europe, has to remain open,” said Aleksandar Vulin, the Serbian social affairs minister.

The United Nations is working to bypass Hungary and find other countries that will allow passage of hundreds of thousands of refugees into Europe.

“We’re definitely in touch with different countries on contingencies and UNHCR is ready to move and assist different countries as best we can. It’s going to be just as much a struggle as it has been for Macedonia and Greece,” said Melissa Fleming, the spokeswoman for the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees.

europe temp. closed to invaders who say europe has no humanity. does that surprise u?

At last

Quite a bit late, and don’t take this to mean the weepy hearts will entirely give up on the subject.

Today’s front page headline.

Could not find the on line story that went with the hard copy headline above.

But we have this, and I’d encourage you to visit the link for the video and all the photographs. Do many of these invaders appear desperate and in poor shape?  Do ANY appear that way?

Hungary declares a state of emergency as it struggles to deal with influx of migrants: Army could be deployed to help enforce strict crackdown on border

9,000 migrants entered Hungary in one day before the country launched a tough crackdown at its border with Serbia
Police and soldiers have arrested dozens of Syrian, Iraqi and Afghan migrants after strict new rules came into effect
Serbian government calls for the restrictions to be lifted as Hungary declares state of emergency in two counties
Germany has said today that it approves of cutting EU funds to member states that refuse to accept migrant quotas

By Julian Robinson for MailOnline

Hungary has declared a state of emergency as it struggles to deal with an influx of migrants - and could deploy its army to help enforce a strict crackdown on the border.

More than 9,000 migrants entered Hungary in just 24 hours before the country launched a crackdown at its border with Serbia last night, it has been revealed.

The Hungarian government today declared a crisis in two of its southern counties while a border zone in the area is being extended to 180ft from 30ft and transit zones could be set up to handle migrants.

Hundreds of refugees spent the night in the open on Serbia’s northern border while police and soldiers arrested dozens of Syrian, Iraqi and Afghan migrants after Hungary’s strict border rules came into effect overnight.

The Serbian government has made urgent calls for the restrictions to be lifted with one official insisting ‘the Hungarians never told us that they will close the border’.

It comes as Germany threatened to cut EU funds to member states that refuse migrant quotas after several eastern European countries refused distribution proposals.

Naturally a good many of the invaders protest the decision by euro countries, but at least for now it’s with dumb signs like this one.

creepy find in Ireland

Oh finagle, there’s a great Irish ghost story waiting to be born from this one.  “… and every time they burned a log, the legless screaming man would grasp for them from out of the flames ...”

Forbidden romance, jealous murder, howling weather, an errant bolt of lighting, class warfare, justice from the grave generations later? Come on my authors, crank out a dozen fast pages from this News Muse To Use.

Medieval skeleton bursts out of the ground after centuries-old tree is ripped up by storm

Archaeologists were stunned when the thousand-year-old skeleton of a young man was found among the roots of a tree ripped from the ground.

Storms blew over a 215-year old beech tree outside Collooney, Sligo, Ireland, unearthing a human skeleton.

The National Monuments Service commissioned Sligo-Leitrim archaeological consultancy Archaeological Services (SLAS) to excavate and retrieve the badly disturbed remains.

The burial was that of a young man (17-20 years old) and it id believed he suffered a violent death during the early medieval period.

Radiocarbon dating puts the man’s death at 1030-1200 AD.

Several injuries were visible to the ribs and hand, probably inflicted by a knife.

He had been given a formal Christian burial, however.

As the photos show, the lower leg bones remained in the grave; but the upper part of the body was entangled in the tree roots and raised up into the air.

a small explanation

image

Not that I’m angry or anything.

And now we have the constant, mostly unreported air attacks on ISIS. Spend a fortune, spies in the sky, hi-tech death from above ... total waste of billions. This approach will never get the job done, or hardly even slow it down. This is the best we can do? Like hell.

germany closes border with austria as they now confess to being overwhelmed

Caught this just as I was ready to shut down.

Schengen is the treaty that did away with borders and border controls.
So far ,,,, the closure is just the border with Austria.

Lets hope with luck those patriots I mentioned in a previous post ...

“Keep the home fires burning”

image

German politicians have called for urgent action on the migrant crisis as the country suspended all trains from Austria today. The sudden halt of trains comes as an overwhelming influx of refugees from across the border have left Germany struggling to deal with the precedent number of new arrivals. This evening Germany reinstated ‘temporary’ controls at its borders with Austria as Europe’s top economy attempts to re-gain control of its porous borders. The move marks a dramatic shift away from the current abolishment of passport checks throughout Europe’s Schengen zone, but the European Commission said that ‘the current situation in Germany ... appears to be a situation covered by the rules.’ Some 13,015 refugees arrived in Munich yesterday alone and 1,400 more are expected to reach the city today - but there are fears it is already at breaking point. The news comes as dozens of migrants arrived into Munich’s main train station, celebrating as they got off the train.

German Interior Minister Thomas de Maiziere said: ‘At this moment Germany is temporarily introducing border controls again along [the EU’s] internal borders. The focus will be on the border to Austria at first.

‘The aim of these measures is to limit the current inflows to Germany and to return to orderly procedures when people enter the country.

Mr de Maiziere added: ‘This step has become necessary. The great readiness to help that Germany has shown in recent weeks… must not be overstretched.’

The Interior Minister did not specify how long the border controls would remain in place or give details of exactly how incoming migrants would be handled. He said there could be disruption to rail travel. Most migrants have been arriving by train.

Germany’s national railway, Deutsche Bahn, said it had halted service between Austria and Germany for 12 hours at authorities’ orders.

The rules of Europe’s passport-free travel zone, known as the Schengen area, allow countries to reintroduce controls in exceptional circumstances, and the European Commission said that ‘the current situation in Germany ... appears to be a situation covered by the rules.’

In a statement the EU executive said: ‘The temporary reintroduction of border controls between member states is an exceptional possibility explicitly foreseen in and regulated by the Schengen Borders Code, in case of a crisis situation.’

It added that the executive would keep the situation under review and said the aim would be to return to the normal situation of no border checks between member states of the Schengen zone ‘as soon as feasible’.

The European Commission added: ‘The German decision of today underlines the urgency to agree on the measures proposed by the European Commission in order to manage the refugee crisis.’

It is not yet clear exactly what the temporary measures include, but the move comes as German authorities have warned they are at ‘the limit’ in coping with the migrant crisis, with locals claiming Munich is on the brink of collapse.

Well ,,,, cannon would solve that problem very fast.  woops. I forgot. they have a right to your country.

eastern europe rebels …. we don’t want islam here. migrants, go home. you aren’t welcome

Just some of the headlines that greeted us this cloudy, chilled and depressing morning.

I put the red lines around that one photo for a special reason.
Has to do with the Prime Minister of Hungary and his reply.  I admire the guy and so far he is the first head of state I have heard, or in this case read, wherein he said out loud for all to hear.

“The people of Hungary have a right to decide who enters their country”

They are clearly fed up with the chaos and the mobs.
That was his reply to the politically correct loudmouth in Austria. And good for him.

Good as well for a few German patriots (naturally labeled as Nazis cos anyone worried about their country and where it is headed has to have a label like that one to shut down the argument).  Anyway ... some patriots burned down an empty house that was to have been used to house immigrants coming to their town. It’s one of many arson attacks that have lately occurred in Germany.  Bravo. Good for them and may they continue the good work and ignore the name calling.

Meanwhile here in soft hearted easy touch Britain, people in the tens of thousands filled London streets yesterday in support of migrants, using the usual two or three word chants repeated over and over in boring repetition, or trying to sing some kind of impossible to understand protest song that also only has two or three words.

Mr. Faymann is clearly full of crap.

image

take a look at this sob story the west was supposed to be the fault of

from poland

image
Thousands of angry protesters took to the streets in Eastern Europe to voice their opposition to the influx of migrants into the region. ‘Islam will be the death of Europe’ chanted protesters at a rally in Warsaw, with the pre-dominantly Roman Catholic crowd reaching as many as 5,000 people. Hundreds also demonstrated in Prague and in the Slovak capital Bratislava, some holding banners reading: ‘You’re not welcome here so go home’.

and Bratisslava

image

See all the photos. At least parts of Europe are now awake.
Slovakia says they only want Christian migrants.

source for video and story

image

I hate to put it this way, makes me look bad however.  Protests can only go so far and do so much. Usually blow off steam and then ... nothing.
Therefore ,,,, blood has to be spilled.  The pc powers that be won’t be impressed by anything less and neither will the invaders.
The folks who need to save their countries must organize, assign special groups to certain specific activities. For example.  Deleting the enablers that help migrants.  Deleting traitorous politicians. And attacking in large numbers, the invaders themselves. Make no allowances for age or sex.
Out-Out Damn Spot!

All it takes is a hard heart and stomach and a desire to save your country from the threat of islam’s invaders.

off to a good start

Yes indeed, how wonderful it is to bowl with a full team. Especially against your arch rivals who have a vacancy this season. So far. Vacancies can’t come through when the pressure is on.

We were up against the team that bested us left and right last season, and gave us lots of trouble in summer league as well, which they won. Except they’re down one bowler right now. So even though their ace anchor was beyond hot, throwing 8 in a row for a 266, we kept up a regular barrage of marks and took them down in the first game by about 48 pins. Sweet. So sweet. Their anchor couldn’t bring that kind of power to Game 2, and their other two rollers were kind of in plod mode, so we dropped the hammer on them and took the second game by 75. They did their best to rally, but we were in fightin’ mode. It was pretty much heads up bowling anyway - they got a whole 4 pins from us - and we trade the lead back and forth several times. And I know they’re a Closer Team, always pulling it out in the 10th. So we started our own closing a frame or two earlier, and went into the 10th with a turkey, a double, an open, and a spare. And we did our jobs right. So we took the third game as well, plus the wood. For a 7-0 wipeout.

Nice way to start a new season. I’m going to be the anchor this year. Yikes. And I threw all night without a brace, working on my bare handed release, which is doing fine. No great scores for me, though I did break 200 with one game.

Another load of hot air

image

FWWWOOOSH!! FFWWOOOOSHH!!

If you live here at our condo park long enough, you’ll know what that sound means. It means there’s another hot air balloon right over your head either scrambling for altitude or getting ready to land. It’s a pretty regular business, taking people for rides over our pretty countryside.

Around 8:15 Saturday morning a big black balloon came down out of the mist and nearly set down on the grass behind us. But with the basket of passengers barely more than 50 feet off the ground the pilot changed his mind, and blasted the burners to pop back up in the sky for another minute or so. That gave us time to grab the cameras and go, to see them make their landing in the old Wachovia Bank parking lot up on Bank Street. From where we stood it looked like they came mighty close to the power lines, but that was probably a matter of perspective.

Once down everyone got out, the balloon cooled off, and they pulled the dump valve to drop the bag. Packed it up and away they went. Another aerial adventure here at UGV.

Keep your cameras at hand here folks, you never know what will happen next.

Actually, we were outside having our coffee, enjoying the garden, and hardly bothered to look up when we heard the first 4 or 5 blasts on the balloon’s gas heaters. We’re so jaded. Balloons come over all the time when the weather is decent. But when our half-wild cats suddenly looked up, shrank back in horror, and ran away in a panic, we knew it was time to get the cameras out. And wouldn’t you know, the batteries were mostly dead in the ones we like to use the best. So we didn’t get the classic “giant black orb blots out the sky” picture as the thing practically set down on our patio. The pilot bounced it up a hundred feet and we immediately gave chase. How can you not? As we ran for the car they floated up to the top of the hill, and put down in the old bank parking lot. Which is right across the street from my little morning job’s guard shack. But I don’t work there on Saturday. What evs. So touchdown with a couple of little bounces, everyone got out OK, then they got to work deflating and packing up. And in less than half an hour they were gone.
