A BRDWAY MUSICAL FOR BMEWS COURTESY OF RICHARD LITTLEJOHN

Littlejohn is one of our very favorites. Consistently brilliant but he’s outdone even himself with this one.
It’s brought about in large measure due to the financial mess in Europe and Germany’s role in things.
It does get a bit complicated and the post above will explain some of it.

Springtime for Merkel, starring in no particular order...

By RICHARD LITTLEJOHN

The crisis in the Eurozone goes from bad to worse, with two democratically-elected national leaders deposed already on the orders of the shadowy, federalist Frankfurt Group. Other countries teeter on the brink of financial and political turmoil.

Greek newspapers are depicting Chancellor Angela Merkel as Adolf Hitler, after she warned menacingly that unless the whole of Europe takes orders from Germany, the peace which has been maintained since the end of World War II cannot be guaranteed.

This seems like a good time to revive Mel Brooks’ masterpiece, The Producers.

In the movie, theatrical impresario Max Bialystock and his accountant Leopold Bloom set out to stage a musical, Springtime For Hitler, which will be a sure-fire flop. That way, Max can defraud his investors and make a fortune.

The euro, on the other hand, was designed to be a sure-fire success and has ended up defrauding an entire Continent.

(Overture and beginners)

The Eurozone is having trouble, what a sad, sad story,

Europe needs a leader to restore its former glory,

Where, oh where, is she?

Right here, in Germany.

She’s the one we need right now,

The original Iron Frau.

And so it’s . . .
image

Springtime for Merkel and Germany,
Meltdown for Ireland and Greece,

We’re marching forward to bankruptcy,

Watching the death of democracy . . .

Showtime for President Sarkozy,

The markets are downgrading France,

Bang goes the doomed single currency,

Come on Germans, go into your dance.

In East Berlin, the volk are hurtin’

Should have stayed behind the Iron Curtain.

Don’t be stupid, be a smarty

Forget the Bunga Bunga Party.

Springtime for Merkel and Germany,

Riots in Lisbon and Spain,

Berlusconi is toppled in Italy,

And Deutschland is rising again . . .

Springtime for Merkel and Germany,

Bail-outs for Europe’s bust banks,

Billions of euros gone down the drain,

Come on Germans, start revving your tanks.

Listen to Angela’s sermon

All of Europe’s speaking German.

Springtime for Merkel and Germany,

Doomsday for Athens and Rome,

You don’t want to make us your enemy,

We’re creating a brand new hegemony . . .

Crunch time for Britain and Cameron,

Protests on the steps of St Paul’s,

The Tories want out of the Union,

But Cleggy’s got Dave by the . . .

Springtime for Merkel and Germany,

Panic on Wall Street and the DAX,

The Bundesbank’s final solution is,

Make the City of London pay tax.

Come on Mervyn, be a honey,

Give us all the City’s money.

Springtime for Merkel and Germany,

We’re building a new Fourth Reich,

This shouldn’t come as a mystery,

Not if you study your history . . .

(Grand finale)

And so it’s . . .

Springtime for Merkel and Germany,

The euro is dead on the floor,

Frankfurt is dictating policy,

And soon we’ll be going,

Yes, we are going,

It looks like we’re going to war!

RICHARD LITTLEJOHN

NEWS BRIEF

It’s been less then two weeks since I said I was tired of gypsy and traveller stories, and wasn’t going to post anymore on the topic.  Well …. I am reminded of that old expression, never say never cos guess what?
Yeah … that tired old subject is here again with the very same tiresome cast

They’re B A A A A KKK!

Or say they are. Here’s the brief lowdown.

While I was away, Drew posted the story about the eviction of the scum at a place called Dale Farm.  I won’t rehash the story here except to say they were on land illegally and it took sorry ass authorities 10 years to move em, at very high cost in monies.
Some of them said they’d fight their eviction to the death, but none did cos I notice every damn one is still breathing.

Well folks …. here’s a very brief update.

Their caravans are lining up and parked outside the old site where they were tossed from, waiting for the chance to move back in.  Which they say is their plan.

See?  They have proved my point made a year ago and repeated from time to time.
Dead travellers do not return to the scene of their former occupations.

Dead child abusers and rapists do not return to re-offend.  Which is the subject of a later post.  But in a nutshell … guy leaves mental unit unsupervised (after 23 yrs) and kidnaps a 10 year old boy within ten minutes of his release.
Old story with new cast member. The shrinks are so easily fooled.

WHY IS THIS GUY STILL BREATHING?

Conservative Pandering

Gee, Thanks For Nothing

House passes gun reciprocity bill; no parallel bill in Senate

image

graphic courtesy of the NRA

House passes concealed weapons permit bill

A state permit to carry a concealed firearm would be valid in almost every other state in the country under legislation the House passed Wednesday.

The first pro-gun bill the House has taken up this year and the first since Rep. Gabrielle Giffords, D-Ariz., was severely injured in a gun attack in January, it had the National Rifle Association’s backing and passed by a comfortable margin. The vote was 272-154, with only seven Republicans voting against it and 43 Democrats supporting it.

The Democratic-controlled Senate has no parallel bill. But two years ago, GOP Sens. John Thune of South Dakota and David Vitter of Louisiana nearly succeeded in attaching a similar measure to a larger bill.

Under the House legislation, people with a concealed carry permit in one state could carry a concealed weapon in every other state that gives people the right to carry concealed weapons. While states have various standards for issuing such permits, currently only Illinois and the District of Columbia prohibit the concealed carrying of weapons.

“The Second Amendment is a fundamental right to bear arms that should not be constrained by state boundary lines,” said GOP Rep. Lamar Smith of Texas, chairman of the House Judiciary Committee.

The bill’s chief co-sponsor, Rep. Cliff Stearns, R-Fla., said states should consider concealed carry permits no differently from driver’s licenses recognized by all states. He noted that many states already have reciprocity agreements with other states.

Had the Supremes made a bolder, more righteous decision in Heller, none of this would be necessary. But while they did kick the ball far down field, they sort of punted at the end. That’s why we’re still going through iterations of idiocy, like this worthless bill.
Many sources covered this story yesterday. If I wasn’t such a cynic I’d be embarrassed at the level of turbo-stupid displayed in the comments at most of them. Instead I’m merely annoyed because I don’t accept those comments as naive. I see them as knowingly misleading. Especially the ones that blather on about “states rights”. Jerks. States have NO rights, only powers. And NO state has the power to ignore the Constitution or any part thereof.

The right of the people to keep and bear arms - in any manner as they desire, whether on their hip or in their pocket - shall not be infringed. “Brandishing” however is a crime when not done for self-defense. And that’s about all there is to it.

Just Playing

A thread came up on one of the shooting forums I visit, concerning wildcat cartridges for Indiana’s rules for firearms for their deer season. Generally you can’t hunt deer in Indiana with a “high powered” “high velocity” long range rifle, so they wrote the hunting laws in a way to try to avoid that. Problem is that the laws were not written by shooters, but by lawyers who just looked at a bunch of pictures of cartridges and decided to set a specification. Their idea was to force rifle shooters to hunt with guns chambered for “adequate” pistol cartridges, which tend to throw heavy bullets fairly slowly for a short distance. So Indiana set the spec for a cartridge case length no longer than 1.625” (for 2012 it will be 1.8”; I think someone explained brass stretching to them) and a bullet diameter of at least .357”. They did not specify that the cases had to be straight walled, though the example cartridges they list in their 2011 rules and 2012 proposals are all straight walled cases.

They failed to realize that American shooters are a highly inventive lot, and that if a loophole exists we will take advantage of it. There is an entire fraternity within the shooting community, more than a century old, that develops new cartridges, just for the fun of it. Those cartridges are not factory standardized, so they’re called wildcats, and those that play that game are called wildcatters.

So I had a bit of fun and stuck my toes in the waters. Lucky me to live in the 21st century where anybody can have quality ballistics design software on their home computer for just a small amount of money.

Behold the 9.3 Indiana:

image

It looks a bit odd, but I designed it for a purpose. I like single shot rifles, and I like lever action rifles. Both of those need a cartridge with a rim. So I took the largest diameter easily available modern rimmed case, the .348 Winchester, and used the software to modify the dimensions while keeping the case head unchanged. The neck angle and body taper are borrowed from the .458 SOCOM, which is a dandy little cartridge that lets you shoot 45 caliber bullets in your “M-16” (AR-15 platform). This idea isn’t new, but I made it mine by changing the bullet diameter to the rarely-seen-in-the-USA 9.3mm, and went with the SOCOM taper instead of the actual SOCOM diameters. In a single shot rifle overall cartridge length (OAL) is not a factor, so you can get away with just seating the bullet deep enough for the case to get a good grip on it, leaving the most room for the most gunpowder. That gives me a little bit more case capacity, which means more room for more gunpowder. Run the design through the ballistics software, calculate the right powder and charge, and this is what comes out:

image

This is big bullet performance somewhere between a .338 Winchester and a .375 Holland & Holland, and all from a short 22” barrel. A 250 grain bullet at over 2600 feet per second with 3812 lb/ft of muzzle energy. It’s a cartridge suitable for deer, elk, any bear that ever lived, and almost any plains game in Africa. You could hunt lions and elephants with it, although I’d want a lot more gun for the elephants. In other words, it’s a cannon. All from a short little case that meets Indiana’s rules which were designed to limit hunters to “low powered” rifle hunting. Neener neener neener!

PS - yes, the recoil is going to be prodigious in any rifle under 9 1/2 pounds. Baby recoil was not part of the exercise. If you take a regular Ruger No. 1 rifle and install this one in a 22” bull barrel it will be plenty heavy enough. Velocities and recoil would be even greater with a 24” barrel, which is still a fairly short rifle when mounted on a single shot action. And of course, if you dial the pressure way down to lever gun levels, velocity, muzzle energy, and recoil drop as well, which means you can get away with an 8lb gun. But even at only 2350fps this one still gives you enough power and a flat trajectory for elk out to 300 yards. But the case design is efficient, so it should still burn up all the powder even at only 43,000psi. A full charge of VV N135 ought to do it.

Ok, play time is over Drew, back to work.

england as sparta, but the line isn’t being held

H/T British Freedom

This reminded me of something ongoing with regard to border control and immigration here in the UK.

Sorry I haven’t all the facts right at hand but generally, govt. ordered a curb on immigration and unknown to the powers that be, the guy who was supposed to be in charge ignored the order and allowed in thousands telling immigration to stand down and allow immigrants in. Many turned out to be criminals whose whereabouts at the moment are unknown. They’re here somewhere for sure.  So there has been this big bru-haha with charges and counter charges going back and forth.  The official in question was sacked (as I understand it) and might face charges of some kind.  I’m just not clear on all the ABCs of it all and am buried under a bunch of other things.  Well anyway ....  I happened to catch this at the Brit Freedom site and thought it was well argued and worth sharing.
But as we all know ... it comes a bit late in the day.  England is flooded with people who barley speak the language and don’t want to anyway. There are criminals from Europe and especially eastern Europe, who are here in droves due to the open borders of the EU.  I know we have a problem in the USA with our borders, but these folks are really a lot worse off here.  Many Brits want out of the EU.  I don’t think it’ll happen in my lifetime. The lure of easy benefits and the welfare state attract them in large numbers.  The average Brit is at the mercy of his or her own govt. as well as the dictates of the EU and the insane policies followed by the previous govt for 13 years.  Of course, all the blame isn’t theirs either and the problems started even before the previous government.
I get the feeling that folks here have been brain washed, if I can get away with that expression, cos I do run into so many well meaning not altogether bad people but dupes none the less.  LyndonB puts it way better then I do, but I can’t talk him into writing something up here.
So here .... from Brit Freedom.

THIS IS SPARTA

by: Simon Bennett

Immigration criteria? Why is immigration into Europe tolerated at all? Let’s look at the logic of accepting immigrants. One of the favourite excuses proffered is to attract ‘skilled’ or ‘wealthy’ immigrants who will boost the economy – really? Let us suppose we are facing a shortage of brain surgeons, what to do? There are two obvious choices; either train our own people to do the job or import ‘skilled’ foreigners.

The training of our own people would involve no importation of racial or cultural differences, and would benefit the indigenous population who actually voted in the clowns running the government. Who benefits? The people.

The importation of foreigners would bring many social problems, which would need solving – lots of ‘agencies’ and a boom time for the paper industry following the inevitable tsunami of legislation to stop people from voicing the obvious. But in the short term – i.e. before the next election – it would solve the little dilemma. Incidentally, the importation of these aliens would also remove lucrative and prestigious positions from the market thus depriving the indigenous population of opportunities within their own economy and society. Who benefits? The politicians and state bureaucracy.

The second most common excuse for importing aliens is to pay taxes that will support us rapidly disappearing indigenous natives in our dotage. Apparently we are no longer reproducing. There are two points to be made concerning these claims. Firstly the net financial balance to the state from our ocean of mostly Muslim immigrants is firmly in the red. They are not contributing; they are a fiscal drain on the national purse – a not unsurprising discovery once one takes a perusal of the basket case economies from which they originally scuttled. They do, however, consume vast amounts of government funds and public services.

The point regarding our reproduction rates is a very hot potato. It is not that we Europeans are failing to procreate, for we do and at a rate which would guarantee our population base. Unfortunately we are also destroying our own offspring via industrial scale abortion – frankly it’s little short of infanticide on a Biblical scale. Notice, not a peep from the docile MSM.

This mass extermination in turn gives our reptilian political classes the excuse for further mass immigration. Hopefully the dreary pattern has become fairly obvious; we the native people are the milch cows of the parasitic state bureaucracy. This apparatus is not designed for the benefit of those who pay the bills; it is an extension of the political machinery and operates as such. Whatever democracy may have meant to the ancient Athenians its modern approximation has little if any interest in the wishes of the people.

Finally one notices that the other postings here discuss Canada and New Zealand. Britain is an ancient European country; the disturbing fact that we are being compared to such countries is of itself an indication of how bad things are. We are genuine indigenous peoples, not imports from the four corners looking for an easy berth in somebody else’s backyard. This mindset is utterly wrong and incongruous with traditional European mores and customs – stop comparing your own people to New World colonialists or antipodean interlopers. We are natives, and as Hollywood’s Leonidas succinctly asserted, this is Sparta.

smoke, smoke, smoke that cigarette … (very old country tune)

Well here we are again.  Little people with tiny minds.  Little Hitlers minus the brains and the uniform.  (yeah brains. one can be very evil but not stupid)

You should see the politically correct comments at the end of this article. I quit smoking a very long time ago. I know the dangers, I’d never start again.
But come on. Who needs pc policing on smoking in your own car if you’re by yourself?  That idea is being advanced my many in the medical profession.
I guess it’s the English was these days.

Anyway, this article is about a woman who dropped her ciggy butt outside her door on the sidewalk. She was immediately given an on the spot fine by one of the many snoops and spies that abound here nowadays.

OK, she should have brought the butt inside and used an ashtray.  But having been seen she went ahead and picked the butt up and put it in her pocket.
So where’s the litter?  And there’s all these mental midgets making comments about how cities are awash with cigarette butts which end up in the oceans.
Funny thing about that.  I hardly ever see any cigarette butts in the streets anymore. But then even years ago before it became politically incorrect to light and toss the evil weed, I don’t recall seeing streets “awash” with butts.  People who are PC also tend to exaggerate. A lot.

Here. Take a look.

‘I’ll go to prison if I have to’: Mother of three, 48, refuses to pay £465 fine for dropping cigarette outside her home

‘There is no way I’m paying the fine for dropping a fag end outside my own front door’
Council bosses: ‘Eco-criminals will not be tolerated’

By EMILY ALLEN

A mother-of-three fined almost £500 for dropping a cigarette has said she she would rather go to jail than pay the charge.

Tracey John, 48, was smoking on her front doorstep when she was seen by a litter enforcement officer dropping the butt on the pavement outside her home.

She refused to pay the on-the-spot fine of £75 and, after her case was sent to magistrates court, has been ordered to pay £465 - one of Britain’s biggest-ever charges for dropping a single cigarette.

But Ms John said yesterday she had no intention of paying and is even prepared to go to prison.

She said: ‘I’ll go to jail if I have to - there is no way I’m paying the fine for dropping a fag end outside my own front door.

Now doctors want to ban smoking in cars… even if you’re on your own

News of her prosecution came as the British Medical Association called on ministers to make smoking in your car against the law - even if there are no passengers.

The housewife claims she was given the £75 on-the-spot penalty even though she picked up the cigarette and put it in her pocket.

Ms John then refused to pay the fine and her case was sent to the magistrates’ court were she was found guilty in her absence.

She was fined £350, ordered to pay £100 costs and a £15 victim surcharge.

Ms John, of Pontrypridd, South Wales, said: ‘I picked up the cigarette after I dropped it. It was outside my own house in my own street.

‘I’m not paying it, what am I suppose to do? Put it out on my hand?

Ms John has been told to pay one of Britain’s biggest ever charges for dropping a single cigarette

‘They are not being fair they think they can just take advantage of me to make an example.

‘But I’m not going to back down, I’m not going to be intimidated, I’m going to fight this all the way to the top.’

Council bosses in her home town are cracking down on litter and are warning that cigarette ends are counted as an ‘eco-crime’.

In the past two years Rhondda Cynon Taf Council has generated £69,300 from 844 fixed penalty notices for littering.

Blah, blah but now here’s the part that hands me a laugh. Sort of.

Nigel Wheeler, service director for Streetcare at Rhondda Cynon Taf Council said: ’Eco-criminals will not be tolerated. The illegal disposal of cigarette related waste is the biggest single problem throughout the area.

‘As well as creating unsightly environmental conditions, the offence can attract vermin.

‘The Streetcare Enforcement Team will do all in its power to eradicate this type of behaviour.’

SOURCE

So then her butt will attract vermin?  What a load of pc eco rubbish. The vermin are all in city halls and parliaments and congresses and anywhere you find the rop. But a cigarette butt? Vermin?  uh huh.
The biggest biggest single problem in his area is cigarette butts?  I say he’s a flippin’ liar! Cigarette related waste?  What? Ashes? More PC exaggeration.

Three Wives? Two Husbands? Move To Canada, Quick!

This is a very quick follow up to Peiper’s post below on the ‘honor killings’ in Canada. And a HUGE indication of cultural decline.

Canada: Come On Up, Bring All Your Wives! ??

January 4, 2011

A court hearing challenging Canada’s anti-polygamy law on religious freedom grounds resumes Wednesday in British Columbia and will eventually include testimony from men and women who are living in multiple-partner marriages.

The hearing will not immediately change the status quo, as British Columbia Supreme Court Chief Justice Robert Bauman’s ruling will not bind any courts.

But his ruling will address questions about whether polygamy is a criminal activity under Canada’s Charter of Rights and Freedoms, and, if it is illegal, under what circumstances. Observers predict that if Justice Bauman’s ruling is appealed, the issue could end up before the Supreme Court of Canada, which could make a binding ruling about polygamy.

The legal hearing revolves around the British Columbia community of Bountiful. Formed in 1946, its 400 or so members belong to a breakaway Mormon sect that permits men to have multiple wives.

The challengers of Canada’s anti-polygamy law say that the nation’s 1982 Charter of Rights and Freedoms gives people the right to practice “plural marriage.”

For believers in the Fundamentalist Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, “celestial marriage” — i.e., plural marriage — “is an essential FLDS religious principle,” and “unless the faithful participate in it, they cannot enter into the fullness of glory in the kingdom of heaven in the afterlife,” William John Walsh, an expert on FLDS, said in an affidavit to the court.

The FLDS long ago split from the mainstream Mormon Church, which formerly practiced polygamy but ceased the practice in 1890 and condemns the FLDS as heretical.

People who practice Islam, Wicca and other religions also are adversely affected by the anti-polygamy law, Vancouver lawyers George K. Macintosh, Ludmila B. Herbst and Tim Dickson said in a brief to the court.

November 8, 2011

Landmark polygamy ruling expected in two weeks

VANCOUVER — The British Columbia Supreme Court is expected to release its long-awaited ruling in a polygamy case on Nov. 23. In April, after 42 days of hearing evidence about whether or not Canada’s polygamy law is constitutional, Chief Justice Robert Bauman reserved judgment. Bauman’s ruling will be posted on the B.C. Supreme Court website, according to information released by court officials Tuesday.

A lockup for reporters is being organized just prior to the release of the ruling.

Lawyers for the governments of Canada and B.C. called witnesses to testify to the harm caused by polygamy. They argued that the practice puts women and children at sufficient risk to justify limiting religious freedoms.

A lawyer appointed by the court marshalled the groups that say the law is over-broad and unconstitutional and should be struck down. Those groups included the Fundamentalist Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and the B.C. Civil Liberties Association.

Wiki data:

Canada: It is illegal by Section 293 of the Criminal Code of Canada. Bigamy is banned by Section 290. However, the law banning polygamy is not enforced by the government. As of January 2009, no person has been prosecuted in over sixty years. A reference case is currently under way in the Supreme Court of British Columbia challenging the constitutionality of this law.

November 6, 2011: An opinion

There isn’t a shred of evidence that polygamy benefits women. Even the UN, often a laughingstock of blind ideologues, has declared that polygamy violates women’s equality rights. Still, that hasn’t stopped academics (who should know better) from suggesting that polygamy be decriminalized.

The latest educator to jump on the decriminalization bandwagon is U of A poli-sci professor Lois Harder. In a recent study written for the Vanier Institute of the Family, Harder wonders if women in polygamous families might be better off if polygamy wasn’t a crime.

“Decriminalizing polygamy would not entail expanding the definition of marriage to include polygamous marriages,” she wrote. “Rather, it would provide a firmer foundation from which to protect women and children in polygamous relationships from exploitation.”

Yeah, right. Remove polygamy from the Criminal Code and all those young girls and women who’ve been brainwashed by the men in Bountiful, B.C., and other polygamous communities will shake off the shackles of exploitation and go to university to become doctors, lawyers and, oh, poli-sci profs.
...
It’s incredibly naive to believe that polygamy can exist without the exploitation of women. The females in these dysfunctional relationships may not think they’re being taken advantage of. They may, in fact, insist they freely chose such a lifestyle.

After all, what woman wouldn’t want to get married in her mid-teens to someone old enough to be her father or grandfather, drop out of school, have a baby every year and share her husband with a bunch of sister-wives? Isn’t that every woman’s dream?
...
Polygamy is simply incompatible with equality and basic human dignity. It’s soul-destroying and merely feeds the deranged dictates of pathological egotists.

Mohammad Shafia’s house rules

At the Shafias’, court hears, men were the law, women property and teen behavior worthy of execution

On paper, Mohammad Shafia was the ideal immigrant, a wealthy, self-made businessman eager to inject his dollars into the Canadian economy. An Afghan who made his fortune in Dubai real estate, Shafia wasted little time setting up shop in his adopted country. In 2008, a year after arriving in Montreal, he purchased a $2-million strip mall in Laval—with a cash down payment of $1.6 million. He launched a company that imported and distributed clothing, household goods and construction material. And he chose the posh suburb of Brossard to build a sprawling mansion with plenty of room for all 10 members of his polygamous clan: himself, two wives and seven children.

The new house was still under construction on June 30, 2009, when three of the Shafia girls—Zainab, 19, Sahar, 17, and Geeti, 13—were discovered at the bottom of the Rideau Canal, floating inside a sunken black Nissan that also contained the lifeless body of their “stepmother,” Shafia’s first wife, Rona Amir Mohammad. The four passengers appeared, at first glance, to be the victims of a late-night joyride gone horribly wrong. Within weeks, however, detectives in Kingston, Ont., offered a far more chilling version of events, laying first-degree-murder charges against a trio of suspects: Mohammad Shafia, the dead girls’ father; Tooba Yahya, their mother; and Hamed Shafia, their brother.

Today, more than two years later, the Shafia patriarch sleeps in a tiny cell with his eldest son. His wife—the one that’s still breathing—is locked in a separate prison.

Much much more at this link.

Canada long ago fell off the left edge of the earth as far as I’m concerned, and has become a socialist cesspool. I would be amazed if the Canadian Supreme Court upheld the existing law, and I’d be even more amazed if they demanded that it actually be enforced. Selective enforcement of laws is one of the ways that a socialist tyranny hides behind a facade of democracy - just ask Obama and Holder. I fully expect the crazy Canucks to rule that polygamy is perfectly fine and dandy. And that any animal over 40lbs is capable of unspoken consent to a human sexual interaction.

The West is going straight to hell.

kills wife and daughters and would do again as honor demands it

Animal shit murders wife and daughters in ‘honor’ killings and has this to say.  One was only 13 but hey, islam demands honor.

‘May the devil...(defecate) on their graves. Is that what a daughter should be? Would (a daughter) be such a whore?’
Mohammad Shafia

What the F*** is wrong with western culture? Why are these lower then bug life forms even allowed to settle in the west?  Most will never conform to western habit and beliefs. Yeah, maybe a few but damn few.
I really can’t think of anything else to say. Anything I say will only be a string of swear words which won’t add to anything.
And they want to bring their stone age thinking here and make it a state religion for us all to follow.

‘I would do it again 100 times’: Muslim father ‘murdered his THREE daughters in honour killing for dating wrong boys’

· Mohammad Shafia ‘spoke to second wife about “treacherous” daughters’
· Both standing trial in Ontario with son, charged with first degree murder
· Afghani father felt ‘ashamed’ that eldest daughter had married Pakistani boy

By RICHARD HARTLEY-PARKINSON and MARK DUELL

A Muslim father charged with murdering his three daughters in apparent honour killings has said he would do it again - even if they came back to life 100 times.
Mohammad Shafia, 58, cursed his daughters Zainab, 19, Sahar, 17, and Geeti, 13, saying they were ‘treacherous’ as he likened them to prostitutes during a conversation that was recorded by police.

He is on trial for their murders after they were found dead in the family car along with their mother, Rona Amir, 50, in the Rideau Canal, located in the Kingston area of Ontario in Canada in 2009.

Shafia, who moved to Canada from Afghanistan with his family, is polygamous and after his arrest was heard telling his second wife, Tooba Yahya, that his daughters had brought shame on the family.

He said: ‘Even if, God forbid, they hoist us onto the gallows… we accept it wholeheartedly’, a day after his arrest.
The court heard the recordings in which Shafia talks about his daughters and the fact that they were dating while ranting about the family’s honour.
Zainab had married her boyfriend - a Pakistani man - angering Shafia and causing family turmoil.

victim stabbed 56 times and killer let out to attend event after two years. law and disorder

So ya think injustice rules in the USA with regard to the Criminal Justice System?
Ha.  Take a look at this bit of lunatic asylum thinking on the part of authorities here.

If you take the time to read the comments after the article at the link, you will see more evidence of how little public opinion and desire are thought of. And this isn’t new. It’s only the latest in a long line of outrages. And yet many here (on the left of course) still go on and on about the large number of citizens who are “incarcerated” in the USA.  Ignoring that many are not citizens at all. Still though ... this really does beat all.
Is it now okay to say, Only in England?  But then, that wouldn’t be entirely true either. Would it?

I will never, ever understand this kind of thing.

Tough justice? Killer who stabbed love rival 56 times is let out for wedding and a half marathon just two and a half years after being jailed

Karla Biddle, 34, jailed for seven years in 2009 after she killed her ex-fiancé’s new girlfriend
Friend of victim’s family: ‘They are struggling to cope as it is. To see pictures of her enjoying herself so soon after being sentenced for a brutal crime is devastating’

A killer who stabbed her love rival 56 times was at the centre of a prison investigation today after being photographed at a wedding and running a half-marathon.

Karla Biddle, now 34, was jailed for seven years in 2009 after she knifed her ex-fiancé’s new girlfriend Emma Bradshaw in a frenzied attack the previous year.

The family of Miss Bradshaw condemned the sentence earlier this month when it emerged that Biddle is due to be released from prison this week after serving just two years and eight months inside.

But the latest pictures are sure to pile fresh hurt on the grieving family.

They show a smiling Biddle posing in a pink party dress at a wedding in Co Sligo, Ireland, this September. The killer looks on as other guests enjoy a chocolate fountain.

Biddle has also been photographed grinning while running the Birmingham half marathon and joining a Race For Life charity run.

The prison service is now investigating whether Biddle, from Yardley, Birmingham, breached her licence by attending a wedding in the Irish Republic.

Prisoners are not normally given permission to travel overseas while on licence.

If she has been found to have breached the conditions of her licence she would be sent back to prison to continue serving her sentence.

After seeing photos of the killer at the wedding and running events a Prison Service spokesman said: ‘We do not comment on individual prisoners, but if prisoners breach their licence in any way, they will be subject to disciplinary proceedings and are likely to be moved to closed conditions.’

The victim’s devastated family said they were ‘disgusted’ by the photos.

Libyan war casualties arrive in Rotterdam …. and Somali pirates get life in French prison

Caught this today and while short, no less interesting for that.
No problem helping folks in trouble etc. but ...  50 people today.  How many tomorrow and the day after that?  How many will remain and then bring in all their relations both real and imagined?
Does anyone else see that thin wedge?  Or maybe it’s just my silly islamophobic thinking at work.

Libyan war casualties arrive in Rotterdam

The first group of Libyans injured in the recent fighting have arrived in the Netherlands for specialist hospital treatment.
Last week, a Dutch medical team working with Libya’s ministry for war casualties selected people for treatment in the Netherlands. The first 12 arrived in Rotterdam late this afternoon.

The Hague has agreed to treat 50 people in the Netherlands. Several other countries have also agreed to offer specialised medical treatment to people injured in the war against former dictator Muammar Gaddafi. All the cost will be met by the Libyan authorities.

The rest of the patients are expected to arrive over the next few days. After an initial assessment at a specialist facility in Utrecht the patients will be sent to various specialist medical facilities across the Netherlands.

France tries six Somali ‘pirates’ in landmark case

Six Somali men appeared in a Paris court Tuesday in France’s first prosecution of alleged Somali pirates. The men face life imprisonment over charges of hijacking, kidnapping and armed robbery of a French couple’s yacht in 2008.

They are facing charges of hijacking, kidnapping and armed robbery after they allegedly seized the yacht and its crew, Jean-Yves Delanne and his wife Bernadette, both aged 60, off the coast of Somalia in 2008.

They face life in prison if convicted.

The six, aged between 21 and 35, were captured and flown to France after French special forces stormed the yacht, the Carre d’As IV, and rescued the couple. A seventh suspect was killed in the raid.

Journalists were allowed into the court for the start of the trial but judges are expected to later close the hearings to the public because one of the suspects was a minor at the time of the crime.

The suspects had reportedly demanded a ransom of $2 million (1.5 million) for the couple’s release.

Their case marks the first time France has put alleged Somali pirates on trial. Somali suspects in three other cases are currently awaiting trial.

source as above

Europeans do not approve the death penalty. I wouldn’t imagine French jails are a walk in the park, but dead pirates are preferable to live ones, even in jail. Does life mean life in France?  I don’t know.  If it’s anything like other western countries, it might only mean serving a certain amount of time and then going free. Maybe even remaining in France and ... bringing in the family?

Still working

I’m Mr. Busy still. Out making money in the daytime, working like a dog to get this place cleaned up at night. No time for keyboarding.

Hey, I hear Obama and his “Where’s Waldo?” wife have snuck out of the country again to go on yet another high priced vacation um, another useless pathetic begging trip abroad um, a trade mission to the far east that will bring back millions of jobs for US workers. Yeah, that’s it. But at least he’s outta here for a week.

And he’s going down under today for the first time ever. I bet Michelle will be happy for that!

Don’t you just love the black heart pinned to her outfit, and the look of joy and pride she has attending the Veterans Day events?

no hope, no cash,

A quick and funny blurb from the column of Kevin Mackenzie.

Over the past ten years we’ve lost Bob Hope, Johnny Cash, Adam Faith, and now Steve Jobs.

So now we have no hope, no cash, no faith and finally, no jobs.

Let’s hope Ed Balls doesn’t die.

(note: Ed Balls is a left wing politician. Member of the Labour Party and an MP.)

THE AMERICAN WAY OF LIFE

Someone wrote a letter to the editor of a magazine I read today, just bugged the hell oughta me. I let these things bother me.  It isn’t the criticism. When it’s fair. But I’m bothered by the mindless stupidity.

Under the heading of “America, here I come!” was the following.

“I’m not a fan of the American way of life, and its brutal sink – or – swim attitude to success.”

The idiot never tells us what personal experience he has had with our way of life, or what exactly is it he knows. Has he ever lived for any length of time in America?  Probably not. And as for sink or swim, what else is there should you find yourself in the drink?  And if you’ve a goal of any sort, isn’t success the goal?

He goes on to say, and I don’t think he’s serious or I hope he isn’t serious, that he is

“seriously contemplating moving to the US because it (US) gets everything first.”

Gee, isn’t it nice to know our way of life has something this jerk approves.

He is referring to things tech. He says he “loves gadgets and the web” but apparently the problem is, many hi tech gadgets and toys for which he has a passion, are harder to get due to the fact that they seem to appear first in the USA and it then take a year and sometimes two years, for the newest must haves to appear on this side of the Atlantic.  And that bothers him no end.
He asks for example, when the new Kindle Fire will arrive here?  He wants it NOW!

“Not in two years, when the Americans have mastered it.”

He wants the UK to be more technology innovative,

“so we don’t have to watch enviously as some cocky New Yorker gets to grips with a new product ages before we do.”

It’s signed, Pete Murphy.

Well you stupid fuck wad, first of all you learn to swim a hell of a lot harder and a lot faster then your competition.  But of course that’d be cruel and brutal by the lights of your home grown brake on success in the form of some unions.  Or maybe it’s simply your own personal work ethic.
And Please … whatever you do Mr. Murphy …. stay the hell away from our country.
Enjoy what you have now and what you’ll get even if it is late, with the compliments of ;

THE AMERICAN WAY OF LIFE!

Not that very many people ever read this far down, but this blog was the creation of Allan Kelly and his friend Vilmar. Vilmar moved on to his own blog some time ago, and Allan ran this place alone until his sudden and unexpected death partway through 2006. We all miss him. A lot. Even though he is gone this site will always still be more than a little bit his. We who are left to carry on the BMEWS tradition owe him a great debt of gratitude, and we hope to be able to pay that back by following his last advice to us all:
  1. Keep a firm grasp of Right and Wrong
  2. Stay involved with government on every level and don't let those bastards get away with a thing
  3. Use every legal means to defend yourself in the event of real internal trouble, and, most importantly:
  4. Keep talking to each other, whether here or elsewhere

Oh, and here's some kind of visitor flag counter thingy. Hey, all the cool blogs have one, so I should too. The Visitors Online thingy up at the top doesn't count anything, but it looks neat. It had better, since I paid actual money for it.
