Quote Of The Day

“Say nothing of my religion. It is known to God and myself alone. Its evidence before the world is to be sought in my life: if it has been honest and dutiful to society the religion which has regulated it cannot be a bad one. ”
-- Thomas Jefferson (1743 - 1826)

On This Day In History

September 4, 476 - Western Roman Empire Falls
Romulus Augustus, the last emperor of the Western Roman Empire, is deposed by Odoacer, a German barbarian who proclaims himself king of Italy. Odoacer was a mercenary leader in the Roman imperial army when he launched his mutiny against the young emperor. At Piacenza, he defeated Roman General Orestes, the emperor’s powerful father, and then took Ravenna, the capital of the Western empire since 402. Although Roman rule continued in the East, the crowning of Odoacer marked the end of the original Roman Empire, which centered in Italy.

September 4, 1886 - The Last American Indian Warrior Surrenders
For almost 30 years he had fought the whites who invaded his homeland, but Geronimo, the wiliest and most dangerous Apache warrior of his time, finally surrenders in Skeleton Canyon, Arizona, on this day in 1886. Known to the Apache as Goyalkla, or “One Who Yawns,” most non-Indians knew him by his Spanish nickname, Geronimo. When he was a young man, Mexican soldiers had murdered his wife and children during a brutal attack on his village in Chihuahua, Mexico. Though Geronimo later remarried and fathered other children, the scars of that early tragedy left him with an abiding hatred for Mexicans. Operating in the border region around Mexico’s Sierra Madre and southern Arizona and New Mexico, Geronimo and his band of 50 Apache warriors succeeded in keeping white settlers off Apache lands for decades. Geronimo never learned to use a gun, yet he armed his men with the best modern rifles he could obtain and even used field glasses to aid reconnaissance during his campaigns. He was a brilliant strategist who used the Apache knowledge of the arid desert environment to his advantage, and for years Geronimo and his men successfully evaded two of the U.S. Army’s most talented Indian fighters, General George Crook and General Nelson A. Miles. But by 1886, the great Apache warrior had grown tired of fighting and further resistance seemed increasingly pointless: there were just too many whites and too few Apaches. On September 4, 1886, Geronimo turned himself over to Miles, becoming the last American Indian warrior in history to formally surrender to the United States. After several years of imprisonment, Geronimo was given his freedom, and he moved to Oklahoma where he converted to Christianity and became a successful farmer. He even occasionally worked as a scout and adviser for the U.S. army. Transformed into a safe and romantic symbol of the already vanishing era of the Wild West, he became a popular celebrity at world’s fairs and expositions and even rode in President Theodore Roosevelt’s inaugural parade in 1905. He died at Fort Sill, Oklahoma, in 1909, still on the federal payroll as an army scout.

September 4, 1957 - Arkansas Troops Prevent Desegregation
Arkansas Governor Orval Faubus enlists the National Guard to prevent nine African American students from entering Central High School in Little Rock. The armed Arkansas militia troops surrounded the school while an angry crowd of some 400 whites jeered, booed, and threatened to lynch the frightened African American teenagers, who fled shortly after arriving. Faubus took the action in violation of a federal order to integrate the school. The conflict set the stage for the first major test of the U.S. Supreme Court’s unanimous 1954 decision in Brown v. Board of Education of Topeka that racial segregation in educational facilities is unconstitutional.

Freedom Fighters?

This is what your Islamic “Freedom Fighters” have accomplished in Russia.

These are dead children. They never harmed anyone. Now they are dead.

Wake up, people! These madmen are NOT “Politically Correct”.

Bodies of schoolchildren and hostages killed in a school seizure seen in a hospital
morgue in Beslan, North Ossetia, Friday, Sept. 3, 2004. Commandos stormed a
school Friday in southern Russia and battled separatist rebels holding 1,200
hostages. An official said the death toll could be significantly higher than 150.

NO!

When will this madness end? It will end when the last of these pissant raghead fuckers is dead, dead, dead. Please forgive me, everyone. I just punched a hole in the wall with my fist. I gotta go lie down for a while. The bastards who are killing children are not human. Words alone cannot express my anger over this. I am angrier than I was on 9/11. I just hope Putin feels the same way.

Just remember, these killers are the same people that the Liberals tried to shield in Iraq. The Liberals think we should try to help these killers and try to understand their anger. I’m sorry but I already understand them and I know how to handle them. Kill them all and be done with it. Nukes are an option at this stage.

At least 150 people are reported to have died at a school in southern Russia where Chechen separatists had been holding hundreds of hostages.

Dozens of corpses were seen outside a local morgue, and the number of dead is expected to rise further.

Heavy gunfire and loud explosions were heard throughout the morning as Russian troops stormed the school, in the town of Beslan in North Ossetia.

Russian troops are fighting to free children still held hostage.

Update: Ten (10) Arabs were among the bastards captured by the Russians. Any questions about who we should nuke next?

And In The Seventh Hour He Rested

And the webmaster gazed out upon the havoc he had wreaked and saw that it was good. The animals of the blogoshpere were all settled down and seemed happy with the new creation. With a sigh of relief, the webmaster sank into his lounge chair on the patio with a glass of Johnny Walker Black and nodded off as the slow rain came down upon the lawn outside.

I hope you are all happy and enjoying the new blog software. I apologize for any disruptions or problems encountered. I hope I have solved everyone’s problems .... for now.

Peace!

HMMMM?!?!?!

Well!

Talk about opportune!  Seems that Bill “Blowjob” Clinton is going in for heart surgery.

Why is it I am not all broken up about this?  Could it be all that pork he eats (or is it all those pigs he porks?!? I don’t know; it’s so confusing!)

Iif I didn’t know better this SOB planned this in order to get the attention back on to himself and The Hildebeast and take away from the great Republican convention.

But, then again, I WAS always somewhat of a conspiracy theorist!

LOL

The Poodle, The Chi-Coms, and NY TImes

We’ve heard snippets here and there about Fuckface selling out to the Chi-coms. How would you feel if you knew he accepted campaign donations from them in exchange for technology?

Or how about the ties between The Poodle and the New York Times? You have to wonder how objective a paper can be when its top executives contribute ONLY to Kerry!

Islam, the Religion of Peace, Love and Understanding

....and also the religion of beating the shit out of your woman if she doesn’t act in accordance with the scriptures.  Muslim men are advised to carry a rod on their shoulder for these eventualities.

And this mullah sheethead asshole goes on to say that women in the west are beaten by their men all the time---as if to justify his Koran!

Since inquiring minds want to know who are these women who must be slapped around, allow me to quote directly from this shit-for-brains and show you the three types:

“The first type is a girl who was brought up this way. Her parents ask her to go to school and she doesn’t – they beat her. ‘Eat’ – ‘I don’t want to’ – they beat her. So she became accustomed to beatings; she was brought up that way. We pray Allah will help her husband later. He will only get along with her if he practices wife beating.  The second type is a woman who is condescending toward her husband and ignores him. With her, too, only a rod will help. The third type is a twisted woman who will not obey her husband unless he oppresses her, beats her, uses force against her, and overpowers her with his voice.”

However, in a backhanded kinda way I did kind of agree with this one:

“Claiming women naturally want to be controlled by men, the cleric declared, “Allah has created woman, whether Muslim or infidel, so she is happy under a strong man who will protect her and lives with her.”

***runs like hell yelling, “hey, don’t stone me!! You women admit to desiring strong men!"***

***still running, voice becoming distant:  “Why else do younger women marry older men?"***

It’s About Time

Finally someone is passing decent legislation in Arizona. New laws permit the confiscation of assets from “coyotes” those sons of bitches that run illegals into this country.  Before, the courts could only confiscate cash.  Now they can take houses, cars, property and----any CONTINUING STREAM OF INCOME!!!

About fucking time!

And speaking of illegals, here we have some moonbat ass-in-the-air-five-times-a-day type caught lying about the fact that he was an agent for Saddam Hussein.  And yes, he lived in the US and was part of an sleeper cell.  Can you believe this SOB was trying to become a citizen?

If I were in charge I’d give all families of soldiers killed in the Iraq War 5 minutes with this fucker and if he was still intact I’d send the body back in a coffi----- with a really pissed off hungry wild pig to keep him company!!

T.G.I.F.

So, what do you think? Good idea?  How long before EVERYONE starts screaming that the poor people out in the boonies deserve the same service and we need to add a special tax to the phone bills to enable this?  Hey, it’s happened once before!

This is what happens when we classify everything as a disease.  Oregon is now out of money to treat its “gambling addicted” citizenry.

We’ve gone a bit too far with this bullshit of labeling things over which we have control as a “disease.” And don’t give me that shit about “some people can’t control it.” We started with mental diseases then over the past thirty years have migrated to such stupid shit as drugs, gambling, AIDS, and now, even personal weight.

Sorry, but my tax dollars should not be spent on problems people get themselves into because they lack a bit of self control which could eliminate these things.

Ladies, I am sure you know it but if not, were you aware that the stuff that makes your perfume smell linger on your skin is nothing more than glorified whale waste?

EEEEW!

But people in New Zealand love to hunt for it.  Hey, at $2300 a pound I guess I might be interested, too!

Getting a Good Shot In

This came from Neal Boortz’s site as he was describing Fuckface giving a speech.

“He also took a lame, weak personal shot at the president by calling his speech “All hat, no cattle.” That’s a reference to the president somehow being a phony cowboy.  John Kerry ... mounting his trusty windsurfer and skipping across the waves into the sunset.  All wetsuit .... all wet.

That’s great!  All wetsuit....and all wet!

Thanks, Neal!  You made my day!

Quote Of The Day

"To err is human, but to really foul things up requires a computer."
-- Farmers' Almanac, 1978

On This Day In History

September 3, 1777 - The Stars And Stripes Flies
The American flag is flown in battle for the first time, during a Revolutionary War skirmish at Cooch's Bridge, Maryland. Patriot General William Maxwell ordered the stars and strips banner raised as a detachment of his infantry and cavalry met an advance guard of British and Hessian troops. The rebels were defeated and forced to retreat to General George Washington's main force near Brandywine Creek in Pennsylvania. Three months before, on June 14, the Continental Congress adopted a resolution stating that "the flag of the United States be thirteen alternate stripes red and white" and that "the Union be thirteen stars, white in a blue field, representing a new Constellation." The national flag, which became known as the "Stars and Stripes," was based on the "Grand Union" flag, a banner carried by the Continental Army in 1776 that also consisted of 13 red and white stripes. According to legend, Philadelphia seamstress Betsy Ross designed the new canton for the Stars and Stripes, which consisted of a circle of 13 stars and a blue background, at the request of General George Washington. Historians have been unable to conclusively prove or disprove this legend. With the entrance of new states into the United States after independence, new stripes and stars were added to represent new additions to the Union. In 1818, however, Congress enacted a law stipulating that the 13 original stripes be restored and that only stars be added to represent new states. On June 14, 1877, the first Flag Day observance was held on the 100th anniversary of the adoption of the Stars and Stripes. As instructed by Congress, the U.S. flag was flown from all public buildings across the country. In the years after the first Flag Day, several states continued to observe the anniversary, and in 1949 Congress officially designated June 14 as Flag Day, a national day of observance.

September 3, 1783 - Treaty Of Paris Signed
The American Revolution formally comes to an end when representatives of the United States, Great Britain, Spain, and France sign the Treaty of Paris. American independence was recognized by the British, and the boundaries of the new republic were agreed upon: Florida north to the Great Lakes, and the Atlantic coast west to the Mississippi River.vIn April 1775, on a common green in Lexington, Massachusetts, American colonists answered King George III's refusal of political and economic reform with armed revolution. On July 4, 1776, more than a year after the first volleys of the war were fired, the Second Continental Congress officially adopted the Declaration of Independence. Five difficult years later, in October 1781, British General Charles Lord Cornwallis surrendered to American and French forces at Yorktown, Virginia, bringing to an end the last major battle of the Revolution. With the 1783 signing of the Treaty of Paris with Britain, the United States formally became a free and independent nation.

Vilmar moved on to his own blog some time ago, and Allan ran this place alone until his sudden and unexpected death partway through 2006. We all miss him. A lot. Even though he is gone this site will always still be more than a little bit his. We who are left to carry on the BMEWS tradition owe him a great debt of gratitude, and we hope to be able to pay that back by following his last advice to us all:
  1. Keep a firm grasp of Right and Wrong
  2. Stay involved with government on every level and don't let those bastards get away with a thing
  3. Use every legal means to defend yourself in the event of real internal trouble, and, most importantly:
  4. Keep talking to each other, whether here or elsewhere
