Speaking Of Protestors

  1. I wonder if the Naked Idiot Moonbats actually grasp that science has yet to find an actual cure for a single viral disease?

Vaccines, we have done, but no cure.  And why does government need to spend money on it anyway?  Any drug company that invents an HIV/AIDS vaccine is going to make HUGE bucks.  That’s a pretty powerful incentive for Pfizer, Merck, et al to do the research on their own dimes.  Which I’m sure they’re doing.

  2. The United States spends approximately $16,700 to find a cure for each life lost to prostate cancer; more than $21,800 for each life lost to breast cancer, and about $160,000 for each life lost to AIDS.

My mother was a saint, an angel walking on this earth.  She died with dignity and courage, her only complaint that she would miss my father.  It was a miserable, drawn out, agonizing death from leukemia, after all the best medicine of Johns Hopkins could help her no more.

I boil, I rage, every time these whining, self-indulgent, promiscuous me-first butt fuckers, free-love advocates and druggies want taxpayers to fund their lifestyle.  Damn them. Damn them. Damn them.

  3. Dick,

Boil? Rage?  That does not even begin to describe what I feel when I hear these shitheels demanding more money to find a cure for their promiscuity.

  4. You know, when you’re a kid and you start hanging out with peers, you don’t ask about political issues they support.  And usually you find out later that you really really disagree with what some of your friends believe.

I wore my “Vote GOP” tee-shirt to school last Thursday and consequently got into a debate with a friend about politics.  So I asked her which presidential candidate she supported.  To which she replied “Kerry.” Of course, I asked her why and her ONLY reason was because he supports gay rights.  AHHHG!!! I had to stop talking to her for awhile after that.  I’m sorry, but this is not something that the United State should be spending time or money on.

On the Michigan ballot this fall (if I’m not mistaken) is the question of the definition of marriage.  AHHG!  WHY!!!! Why is this suddenly a huge issue?  As of right now, I believe that Michigan does not acknowlege gay marriages.  But who knows what’s going to happen.  Okay...I need to go do something less frustrating before I develope an ulcer....

  5. Kristin,

Always be wary of the intelligence of people who vote for someone this election cycle on any issue other han national security.

Avoid them.  Ostracize them from your circle of friends.  If they ask why, tell them because of their narrow-mindedness and inability to see beyond the tips of their noses to the bigger picture.  Then ask them: “how important will homosexual rights be (sorry, I refuse to use the “g’ word) when the economy is tanked, the unemployment rate is high, people are losing their jobs, and civil rights are suspended because of terrorist attacks on the US?

Ask them how what the price will be to get Germany, Russia and France involved in Iraq if they are not in there now?  How will Kerry do this?  What will he promise them?  Given Germany, France, and Russia’s inabilities to combat terrorism within their own borders, how will they do so in Iraq?  Ask them how the UN, who was unable to get Hussein to comply with their resolutions for over 10 years all of a sudden be able to do so?

I could go on and on but you get the gist of it.

    Keep up the good fight!

  6. It’s the victim mentality shuffle. I got a disease so you owe me. That’s a load of BS..

Well folk let me tell you something I’ve spent the last twenty years in a wheel chair with all the complications cause some guy in a hurry to get to work ran a stop sign and my kid has a couple disabiling medical conditions. If I’d sat around feeling sorry for myself I’d be worse off today than I was the day before I got run over. If nothing else it buys my chance to rant on this one.

Victimization won’t solve your problems. This is life people fix what you can and learn to live with what you can’t. Don’t take from others who need cause you won’t do for yourself.

Yes AIDS is a terrible thing we don’t have a cure or a vacine.(same with the so called common cold). We can manage it, even folks with full blown AIDS can do a lot to control it. Yea it’s going to kill you in the end. Just like anyone who has cancer or any other host of diseases.(life is 100% terminal anyway)

Obesity, same differance. Except for a few cases we know how to control it. Yea some of us have extra problems but if you stick to the program it’s as simple as don’t take in more than you use. I know I deal with it everyday.

It’s a choice issue. I can eat that half pound Angus Burger with bacon, extra cheese and the special blue cheese ranch dressing, a side of chili cheese fries and a mega whopper slurp cola.(ok even I can’t eat that), but thats all I can eat that day and probably the next even if I hit the gym.

AIDS is the same thing, if I have unprotected sex with anything that walks upright on two legs I’m going to catch something. Hell condoms would cut the AIDS Epidemic in half and you could still sleep with anything that walked upright. Is that so hard.

Yea you get obese, AIDS, cancer, what ever, lifes a bitch. In the end what you do will determine the quality of your life and blameing others who didn’t have anything to do with your problem isn’t going to help you.

Throwing money at a problem will not solve it either. If you don’t do your part there ain’t that much money in the world and there are folks out there that could use it and will do their part…

  7. Ric, Last fall I WAS one of those victims. I’ve mentioned my eating disorder-exercise bulimia-brfore. At this time last year, I was trying to starve/exercise myself to death. The “professionals” said I needed IMMEDIATE in-patient-It would have been my third time the other two had been paid by savings-my INS. had other ideas. They would have told Karen Carpenter that inpatient was unnecessary. Well I ranted and raved and threatened and THEN it came to me. While it WASN’T my fault that I had been afflicted with bulimia since ‘86 It WAS my fault that I expected others to be responsible for MY wrong choices. Yes, I had choices. October 1st, I made the choice to seriously work toward my recovery. A year later, you would never know that I’m recovering from an eating disorder. It’ still a struggle -doing much better though, thank you -but I’m no longer a victim. Self respect and victimhood cannot exist side by side. Some of the aids folks wanted to be martyrs for their cause. That’s what people remember-their victimhood.
    No Thanks. Not anymore.
