New Controversy Over Kerry’s Medals

We are somewhat surprised at the scant news coverage given to John Kerry’s quick trip to Athens this past Saturday to cheer on the beleaguered US Men’s Basketball team in its bronze medal game against Lithuania.  It was a noble gesture and we are sure it meant a lot to our players, who by the way ended up winning the game 104-96.

More controversial for Kerry was the story that followed the game. Kerry had spent only four hours on the ground in Athens, yet somehow---to the surprise of everyone---ended up winning three Olympic medals, a silver and two bronze.

When asked about how he won them, he refused to talk about the story with the press--- though second-hand reports indicated he got the silver in Rowing, and the two bronze medals were allegedly for the Javelin and an obscure equestrian event.

Within hours, some 260 Olympic athletes from more than 40 countries --calling themselves Olympic Athletes for Truth (OAT)--signed their names to a document protesting Kerry’s medals.  The document stated that none of the Kerry medals was legitimately earned.  85 of the athletes went further, signing affidavits indicating they had had Kerry in visual contact during his entire four-hour tour of the Olympic site and that he had never even participated in any of the events in which he claimed to have won medals.

However, the next day a group of seven Olympians from France and Germany emerged. Flanked by syndicated columnist Maureen Dowd and TV Talk Show host Chris Matthews, the “FG7” held a press conference and announced that they knew that Kerry had indeed won three medals because they had competed alongside Kerry in each of the events in question.  Not only did he win them legitimately they said, but he had done so with extraordinary courage.  One of the French competitors told a moving story about havingbeen “pulled from the water” after falling from his scull just after the finish.  “Kerry came back for me,” he said in broken English, “and he didn’t have to, he risked his life---I can’t swim you know, even though I am in crew.”

This story was disputed by a British crew member (and OAT signatory) however, “The Frenchman had to have been disoriented, besides the Frogs finished 27th in that event and were over five minutes behind any of the medal crews, anyone winning a silver or bronze medal would have never even seen the Frenchman.”

Ten minutes later however, Democrat National Committee Chairman Terry McAuliffe blasted the 260 athletes, claiming they had “smeared” John Kerry “in a way that shamed all Olympic athletes throughout history.”

Senator John McCain weighed in less than an hour later, saying “Kerry’s record in Athens should not be questioned.” ABC News Anchor Peter Jennings, NBC News presenter Tom Brokaw and CBS’s venerable Dan Rather all praised McCain for his “centrist” comments.

Jon Stewart, interviewing Kerry on The Daily Show, told the nominee, “I understand you were never in Athens.” Kerry laughed heartily.  The next day, Neal Gabler of Fox News Watch said Jon Stewart was the only credible newsman on this story---"the only one to show with film footage that the Olympic Athletes for Truth were lying.” Jane Hall, Gabler’s colleague on FNW concurred, “He won the medals, no question about it,” she said.

Hours later the New York Times published an eight-page investigative piece proving “conclusively” that Kerry had indeed won the three medals.  “We found literally scores of contradictions among the Olympic Athletes for Truth(OAT),” said the Times, “their stories just don’t hold up when measured against the documents that Kerry’s staff produced.”

OAT countered that the documents purporting to support the medals--with descriptions of each event and a narrative of Kerry’s own participation in each---had been written by Kerry himself.  “Yes, all those documents are on International Olympic Committee (IOC) letterhead,” the OAT press release read, “but they were all written by Kerry.  He wrote them and submitted them to the IOC.”

Appearing at different times on Cable News Shows, James Carville, Juan Williams, Dowd and Matthews, as well as Kerry Spokesman Tad Devine, all denounced OAT, calling them “extremely disreputable,” “disgusting,” and “liars.” They called on President Bush to denounce them---as well as the IOC for good measure.  Two hours later the President was asked at a campaign stop about the Kerry medals. “Look, I think he earned them, and I think his participation in Athens was honorable, and we should all be proud of what he accomplished in such a short time; But I think this campaign is about the future, not about what happened in Athens.”

Veteran Olympian Bruce Jenner however, expressed doubt when queried by American reporters in his home town.  “Three medals and never broke a sweat?” asked Jenner, “I saw that and I was amazed, I mean even if he was the coxswain in the rowing crew he would have worked hard enough to break a sweat; but I saw him as he was leaving to get back on the plane and he was cool, very cool, no sweat at all--still in a coat and tie.  Something’s wrong with that picture.”

Chris Matthews expressed disgust with Jenner’s comments when Jenner appeared on Hardball later that evening.

Mathews:  Were you there? I mean if you weren’t there, you don’t know whether he won the medals or not do you?

Jenner:  Well, I...

Matthews:  You weren’t were you?  Look the French and Germans were right there.

Jenner:  I...uh...

Matthews:  Just answer the question, I’m asking you a simple question.

Jenner:  I...u

Matthews:  It’s a yes or no question, I am asking you a question, were you there?

Jenner:  u...

Matthews:  That’s it, you’re off the show, I’m done with these disgusting people who have no evidence, not a shred of evidence and who make up these foul charges based on nothing at all, when all the official documents, everything in the IOC records supports everything Kerry has said, supports his story completely.  And Bush---he was nowhere near Athens---did not even qualify for a single event.  I mean whose record has more credibility on this issue?

wink (-- Thanks to Renee)

What Passes For Education

Professor Mike Adams discusses what is so wrong at Wesleyan University. The language might offend some so let me preview what you’ll find:  Wesleyan touts itself as a place where a person can get a fine education.  But if you peruse their website you’ll see things like C**T Clubs where women sit around saying the word over and over to “empower” themselves, I guess!  That word seems to be OK with campus officials but when students tried to form a KYKE Club, they were told they couldn’t.

It’s a great read if for nothing else than to point out the lunacy happening on campuses (and to sample Professor Adam’s prolific use of puns.)

Problem Solving

PROBLEM: Two books are for sale.  But which one to buy? “The Titanic” or “My Life” by Bill Clinton?

Titanic: $29.99
Clinton: $29.99

Titanic: Over 3 hours to read.
Clinton: Over 3 hours to read.

Titanic: The story of Jack and Rose, their forbidden love, and subsequent catastrophe.
Clinton: The story of Bill and Monica, their forbidden love, and subsequent catastrophe.

Titanic: Jack is a starving artist.
Clinton: Bill is a bullshit artist.

Titanic: In one scene, Jack enjoys a good cigar.
Clinton: Ditto for Bill.

Titanic: During an ordeal, Rose’s dress gets ruined.
Clinton: Ditto for Monica.

Titanic: Jack teaches Rose to spit.
Clinton: Let’s not go there.

Titanic: Rose gets to keep her jewelry.
Clinton: Monica’s forced to return her gifts.

Titanic: Rose remembers Jack for the rest of her life.
Clinton: Clinton doesn’t remember Jack.

Titanic: Rose goes down on a vessel full of seamen.
Clinton: Monica… oooh, let’s not go there, either.

Titanic: Jack surrenders to an icy death.
Clinton: Bill goes home to Hilary… basically the same thing.

A Special Note To Our Readers

The past couple of days we’ve been switching over from Movable Type to Expression Engine as the vehicle for powering our blog.

Unless you are brand new to the site, you have noticed quite a change in our appearance which we hope to have back to something resembling our old one soon.  The banner we used to have is cool and we’d like it back.  Getting there and setting our background colors and fonts will take a bit more work.  Allan is the “man from Havana” when it comes to this sort of stuff and he’s been slaving away.  Me?  I poke around, cause things to crash, I screw up settings and ask lots of questions the answering of which, by Allan, of course explains why it is taking him so long to return the site to “near original” condition.

It goes without saying that this would not be possible without so many of you who helped out by contributing towards making it happen.  We’ve thanked you before and want to do so again.  We probably would have transitioned anyway but your contributions made that possibility occur sooner rather than later.

Most importantly though is that you understand our motivation for having made this change.

So.............................Why did we do it?  Features!!

You’ve probably seen where if you want to make comments to the site you must pre-register.  Fear not as we do not use or sell any of your data nor will we ever give it out to anyone.  Our word is our bond.  The information you provide as a registered user can also be looked at by other users so be careful what you put out there.  But if you are the chatty type or wish to engage in conversation with another user, enter your AIM or Yahoo IM address.  That allows you to take your interaction between one another to another level.

(We’ll be offering dating services soon!  hahahaha)

Registering allows us to filter our the lurking moonbats out there who hijack our site (and piss you all off to no end) with their screeds.  For some reason they think that what we all pay for they have a right to use to post their noxious tripe.

Disagree with us?  Sure!  We expect and invite that.  Use our blog as your own personal soapbox to irritate us ad nauseum.................... you’re outta here!

We can do that now.

We can also moderate all our posts if we want.  This means if we suspect someone is out trolling around even after having registered, we flip a switch and nothing gets on the site unless we say it is OK.  That’s a cool feature.

You’ve probably also noticed we have more options for you, the commenter.  You can be automatically notified if anyone comments to your comment.  No need to go back over and over to see who’s taken your bait (or spit it back out!)

You can also use emoticons to express yourself.  That’s pretty cool.

We also have the ability to set the time between comments to zero.  Under Movable Type if you tried to post too quickly it would not let you and you’d get an error message.  Now you can post comments as fast as your fingers type and your modem sends info.

Another spiffy feature is at the bottom of each post.  We now display the posts category.  So if you are reading a post and the subject is “Exposing Kerry,” just click on that link and you will see all the posts about that category.

So, thanks for sticking with us.  Thanks for donating.  Thanks for participating.

This is Allan and Vilmar signing off.................and we approve this message.  LOL

Waiting For Frances

OK, Here I am again, three weeks after Charley, waiting for Frances to come barreling through.

Fortunately I am on the west side of the state.  She’s expected to hit this afternoon on the east side, possibly slow down and then, like our pioneers of old, “head west!” Her trip will be a slow one as she’s carrying a heavy load of water and wind.

Geez, do I even want to get into how long a blow-job she’s going to give us all? red face

In about 6 hours I am expecting darkening skies, winds and slashing rains described as between CATS and DOGS and BUCKETS.  Early tomorrow morning we’ll gradually progess from BUCKETS of rain to SHITLOADS of rain.  By mid-day tomorrow we’ll be in the thick of it with tropical storm force winds (39-73 MPH) and rains of BIBLICAL PROPORTIONS.  Consult below for definintions.

So I went out today and cut the grass, secured the doors of my shed, positioned potted plants in the shelter of my live oaks, and brought my lawn equipment into the garage.  My batteries are charged, my water is in large pans, my candles and matches handy and a deck of cards nearby for when power goes out.

Now all I can hope for is that Frances does her thing and gets out of here by Sunday night because I have an early morning flight Monday to South Dakota to visit my son, daughter-in-law and grand daughter.

Reporting to you from the “West Coast”, your valiant, brave and courageous Benevolent Dictator **hey!! stop that snickering!**

DEFINITIONS OF FLORIDA RAIN AMOUNTS:

SMATTERING-------------------> less than 1/4 inch
SHOWERS----------------------> less then 1/2 inch
AFTERNOON RAIN-------------> less than 1 inch
SOAKER------------------------> 1 to 2 inches
CAT and DOGS----------------> 2 to 4 inches
DOWNPOUR--------------------> 4 to 6 inches

Barking Moonbat Of The Week Award: 04-SEP-2004

This week’s award goes to the most obnoxious newscaster in the business, Chris Matthews. MSNBC’s Liberal Attack Dog is bordering on madness with his ambush tactics on Republicans and Conservatives. This man needs to be exiled to a remote island in the Pacific where he can cause no harm.

For ambushing Michelle Malkin and trashing her on air.

For attempting to do the same thing to Zell Miller (with absolutely no success because Ol’ Zell gave him hell and challenged him to a duel).

Awarded To:
Chris “Snowball” Matthews

Daily Dose - 09/04/2004

Quote Of The Day

“Say nothing of my religion. It is known to God and myself alone. Its evidence before the world is to be sought in my life: if it has been honest and dutiful to society the religion which has regulated it cannot be a bad one. ”
-- Thomas Jefferson (1743 - 1826)

On This Day In History

September 4, 476 - Western Roman Empire Falls
Romulus Augustus, the last emperor of the Western Roman Empire, is deposed by Odoacer, a German barbarian who proclaims himself king of Italy. Odoacer was a mercenary leader in the Roman imperial army when he launched his mutiny against the young emperor. At Piacenza, he defeated Roman General Orestes, the emperor’s powerful father, and then took Ravenna, the capital of the Western empire since 402. Although Roman rule continued in the East, the crowning of Odoacer marked the end of the original Roman Empire, which centered in Italy.

September 4, 1886 - The Last American Indian Warrior Surrenders
For almost 30 years he had fought the whites who invaded his homeland, but Geronimo, the wiliest and most dangerous Apache warrior of his time, finally surrenders in Skeleton Canyon, Arizona, on this day in 1886. Known to the Apache as Goyalkla, or “One Who Yawns,” most non-Indians knew him by his Spanish nickname, Geronimo. When he was a young man, Mexican soldiers had murdered his wife and children during a brutal attack on his village in Chihuahua, Mexico. Though Geronimo later remarried and fathered other children, the scars of that early tragedy left him with an abiding hatred for Mexicans. Operating in the border region around Mexico’s Sierra Madre and southern Arizona and New Mexico, Geronimo and his band of 50 Apache warriors succeeded in keeping white settlers off Apache lands for decades. Geronimo never learned to use a gun, yet he armed his men with the best modern rifles he could obtain and even used field glasses to aid reconnaissance during his campaigns. He was a brilliant strategist who used the Apache knowledge of the arid desert environment to his advantage, and for years Geronimo and his men successfully evaded two of the U.S. Army’s most talented Indian fighters, General George Crook and General Nelson A. Miles. But by 1886, the great Apache warrior had grown tired of fighting and further resistance seemed increasingly pointless: there were just too many whites and too few Apaches. On September 4, 1886, Geronimo turned himself over to Miles, becoming the last American Indian warrior in history to formally surrender to the United States. After several years of imprisonment, Geronimo was given his freedom, and he moved to Oklahoma where he converted to Christianity and became a successful farmer. He even occasionally worked as a scout and adviser for the U.S. army. Transformed into a safe and romantic symbol of the already vanishing era of the Wild West, he became a popular celebrity at world’s fairs and expositions and even rode in President Theodore Roosevelt’s inaugural parade in 1905. He died at Fort Sill, Oklahoma, in 1909, still on the federal payroll as an army scout.

September 4, 1957 - Arkansas Troops Prevent Desegregation
Arkansas Governor Orval Faubus enlists the National Guard to prevent nine African American students from entering Central High School in Little Rock. The armed Arkansas militia troops surrounded the school while an angry crowd of some 400 whites jeered, booed, and threatened to lynch the frightened African American teenagers, who fled shortly after arriving. Faubus took the action in violation of a federal order to integrate the school. The conflict set the stage for the first major test of the U.S. Supreme Court’s unanimous 1954 decision in Brown v. Board of Education of Topeka that racial segregation in educational facilities is unconstitutional.

Freedom Fighters?

This is what your Islamic “Freedom Fighters” have accomplished in Russia.

These are dead children. They never harmed anyone. Now they are dead.

Wake up, people! These madmen are NOT “Politically Correct”.

Bodies of schoolchildren and hostages killed in a school seizure seen in a hospital
morgue in Beslan, North Ossetia, Friday, Sept. 3, 2004. Commandos stormed a
school Friday in southern Russia and battled separatist rebels holding 1,200
hostages. An official said the death toll could be significantly higher than 150.

NO!

When will this madness end? It will end when the last of these pissant raghead fuckers is dead, dead, dead. Please forgive me, everyone. I just punched a hole in the wall with my fist. I gotta go lie down for a while. The bastards who are killing children are not human. Words alone cannot express my anger over this. I am angrier than I was on 9/11. I just hope Putin feels the same way.

Just remember, these killers are the same people that the Liberals tried to shield in Iraq. The Liberals think we should try to help these killers and try to understand their anger. I’m sorry but I already understand them and I know how to handle them. Kill them all and be done with it. Nukes are an option at this stage.

At least 150 people are reported to have died at a school in southern Russia where Chechen separatists had been holding hundreds of hostages.

Dozens of corpses were seen outside a local morgue, and the number of dead is expected to rise further.

Heavy gunfire and loud explosions were heard throughout the morning as Russian troops stormed the school, in the town of Beslan in North Ossetia.

Russian troops are fighting to free children still held hostage.

Update: Ten (10) Arabs were among the bastards captured by the Russians. Any questions about who we should nuke next?

And In The Seventh Hour He Rested

And the webmaster gazed out upon the havoc he had wreaked and saw that it was good. The animals of the blogoshpere were all settled down and seemed happy with the new creation. With a sigh of relief, the webmaster sank into his lounge chair on the patio with a glass of Johnny Walker Black and nodded off as the slow rain came down upon the lawn outside.

I hope you are all happy and enjoying the new blog software. I apologize for any disruptions or problems encountered. I hope I have solved everyone’s problems .... for now.

Peace!

HMMMM?!?!?!

Well!

Talk about opportune!  Seems that Bill “Blowjob” Clinton is going in for heart surgery.

Why is it I am not all broken up about this?  Could it be all that pork he eats (or is it all those pigs he porks?!? I don’t know; it’s so confusing!)

Iif I didn’t know better this SOB planned this in order to get the attention back on to himself and The Hildebeast and take away from the great Republican convention.

But, then again, I WAS always somewhat of a conspiracy theorist!

The Poodle, The Chi-Coms, and NY TImes

We’ve heard snippets here and there about Fuckface selling out to the Chi-coms. How would you feel if you knew he accepted campaign donations from them in exchange for technology?

Or how about the ties between The Poodle and the New York Times? You have to wonder how objective a paper can be when its top executives contribute ONLY to Kerry!
