McCain’s Kissing of The Poodle’s Ass
There is currently a shitstorm of activity regarding the ad the Vietnam Vets Against John Kerry have put out.We've not heard the end of it and I suspect that somehow these guys will get egg smeared on their faces. I sincerely hope not but sometimes when we tend to be rabidly hateful of someone we tend to do and say stupid shit. Again, I hope this is not one of those instances.
So what's got my knickers in a wad? John McCain. I truly dislike this guy. And I absolutely do not trust him as far as I could throw him.
McCain came out yesterday against the ad. He wants the Vets to pull it. He wants President Bush to denounce it.
As far as I am concerned McCain is doing this for one reason and one reason only---he wants payback from Kerry should he (GOD FORBID!) get elected President or some sort of tit-for-tat in the Senate should Kerry lose.
As for McCain's demands, I have three conditions:
--- it will be done as soon as he disowns the McCain Feingold bill which precipitated the formation of 527 groups and allowed these sorts of adds to be broadcast AND passes legislation to close that loophole (not propose legislation, PASS legislation in BOTH Houses!)
--- that George Soros immediately pull back funding the MoveOn.org and other PACs he's funding
--- that all similar ads by democrat 527 groups stop running
Then and only then will McCain rise one notch above asshole, scum-sucking, ass kissing, bottom feeding opportunistic fraud..
UPDATE: No sooner said than done, there's already one Vet who was against Kerry and is now retracting some of what he's said and done. I told you!!!
It is starting.
