Editorial writers here, even those conservative ones, harp about America’s gun laws, the gun lobby and those crazed right wing gun nutters in the USA.
As if it’s any of their damn business. Which of course it isn’t.
Well, I saw this story today and could not help thinking, if ever there was a very good reason for owning a gun, this one good reason.  Among many.
But this is Britain, and so this young lady is SOL.
Now 22, she lives alone. 
Thankfully, she came to no physical harm.  But imagine if it’s possible, to be a young woman and be stalked for so long, and to have a court only slap the wrist of the offender and then send him home.

Which happens to be, right next door.
Only in the UK.

A stalker who has terrorised a young woman for two years has been freed from court and allowed to live next door to her.

Darren Blee, 22, plagued Pippa Dowson by following her day and night, hiding in bushes and jumping out in front of cars she was in.

Blee, who lives with his parents, admitted an ‘unhealthy fixation’ with the 20 year-old and told police he could not stop himself from following her.

He pleaded guilty to stalking but was given a suspended sentence and left to return to his home in Truro, Cornwall.

Ms Dowson, who lives alone, said: ‘My life has been ruined for nearly two years and he got a slap on the wrist.

‘My safety is compromised. His feelings were taken into consideration over mine.
‘It’s disgusting. I think it’s horrendous that they have just let him go home right next door to me.’

Garth Richardson, prosecuting at Truro Crown Court, said police first told Blee to stop his harassment in July 2012, followed by a caution in November.

He behaved himself for three months until February when he started following Ms Dowson again.

On one occasion she came home to find Blee screaming at her and making animal noises.

When asked by police why he kept following her, he said: ‘I don’t know why, there is something wrong with me but I don’t know what. I can’t stop myself.’

Dieter Kehler, defending, said Blee found it hard to make friends or interact with people.

New laws were introduced last November which recognised stalking as a specific crime with a potential sentence of up to five years.

‘He threw things at my window at home. It’s been absolutely terrifying. From the beginning of this year it’s been absolutely horrendous’ - Ms Dowson

Blee was the first person in Cornwall to be dealt under the new legislation which Ms Dowson hoped would finally protect her.

He was remanded in custody by magistrates at the end of August when he pleaded guilty to stalking involving serious alarm or distress.

But he was freed when he returned to the crown court to be sentenced and got a nine-month prison term, suspended for 12 months, and an order to do 100 hours of unpaid work.

Blee was also given a restraining order not to contact his victim, go to her work or follow her for five years.

However, he was allowed to continue living with his parents in the house next door to Ms Dowson.
After the hearing Ms Dowson told how her nightmare began in January 2012 when she was just 18 years old.

She had never had any previous contact with Blee before he targeted her out of the blue.

She said: ‘I noticed he was following me everywhere I went and it got to the stage where I could not leave the house by myself.

syrian immigrants in france “DEMAND” to be allowed to come here. French aren’t soft enough for them

So they find their way to France, but that isn’t exactly where they wanna be.  Oh no. Course not.

Where they want to be is ....

Can’t say as I blame them.  I guess the word has been out for a long time.  Soft touch Britain is the place to be.  Muslim friendly too. Oh yeah. It’s the law.

As for those on that hunger strike. Rubbish.  They already know that nobody will actually allow them to starve.  I would, but I’m not running things, so they’ll survive.  But the French don’t actually want them either.

Dozens of Syrian asylum seekers were today occupying a roof and footbridge in Calais and demanding: ‘Take us to the United Kingdom’.

Riot police were trying to control the group, all of whom want to claim housing and benefits in Britain rather than France.

Around 40 of them have gone on hunger strike and refuse to move from the key bridge in the Calais ferry port.

Interesting choice of words by the reporter.
They aren’t here yet but notice, they are “demanding” something already.  I suppose once they arrive they will also demand lots of things as their right.
I guess we’ll see.  Meanwhile, those guys threatening suicide .... nah.  Much doubt about that. Not unless it’s inside a shopping mall or on some high street where lots of death and damage can be done.

Some have also climbed on a roof and threatened to jump off unless their demand to be taken to England is met.

‘We are treated like dogs in France and do not want to stay here,’ said one migrant, who said his name was Majid.

‘Britain is a fair country, and that is why we want to go there – we will be treated will by the British government.’

Placards held up by the 60 plus refugees include slogans including ‘Take us to the UK’ and ‘We want to talk to David Cameron’.

Syria has close historical links with France, which has promised to speed up asylum claims from those who have escaped the Civil War.

But the process is notoriously slow in France, with few benefits made available while migrants are waiting.

French President Francois Hollande had led the calls for military action against Syrian president Bashar Al-Assad’s regime, but is doing very little for Syrian refugees.

Those sleeping rough are quickly moved on by the police, leaving them to rely on homeless charities.

The Calais group includes women and children, all of whom say they come from towns which have been bombed continually.

One woman, who said she originally came from ‘near Damascus’, said: ‘The procedures for us to claim asylum are far simpler and quicker in Britain.

‘Once there we will be well treated, and can bring our families too. We can start new lives in Britain.’

Calais is notorious magnate for migrants from all over the world, many of whom try to get into Britain illegally, either in the back of lorries crossing the Channel by ferry, or by hiding in trains.

Oh hell. Anyone still counting?

I think when shrinks or whoever it may be, that allow scum like this to be free, should themselves be given a taste of what is done to the victims. Really.
There would surely be far less of this sort of thing. Just makes the blood boil. Not that things would be better if the black scum had found an older person, but damn. The kid here was only 16.  Jeez. Have trouble getting my head around that.

A knife-obsessed psychiatric patient will be detained for life in a mental hospital after he admitted stabbing a teenager to death as she took the bus to school to take a GCSE mock exam.

Phillip Simelane, 23, today pleaded guilty to the manslaughter of Christina Edkins, 16, having plunged a blade into her heart in a motiveless killing during the Birmingham rush hour.

The killer, who had a string of violent crime convictions including threatening his own mother with a knife, calmly walked off the double decker after fatally stabbing the teenager as she sat down.

Today it emerged he had been jailed three times last year but despite the authorities having concerns about his mental health he was released at Christmas without any supervision.

Christina’s bereft family have said that had Simelane been monitored the killing of the ‘bright and beautiful’ 16-year-old would ‘never have happened’.

TIMELINE: HOW KNIFE-OBSESSED CRIMINAL WENT ON TO KILL

April 22, 2007: Found in possession of a lock knife, aged 16, and handed a police reprimand.

May 8, 2007: Discovered in an enclosed premises. No further action taken by police.

March 5, 2009: Battery conviction for assault after pushing a young relative up against a wall.

May 10, 2012: Criminal damage. No further action taken by police.

May 11, 2012: Criminal damage. Received a six-month conditional discharge.

May 21, 2012: Convicted and jailed for 11 days for assaulting a police officer who had responded to knife threats and assault against his own mother.

June 1, 2012: Released from prison and spent 42 days out of custody.

July 13, 2012: Convicted of assaulting and battery in the attack against his mother (which happened in May). Jailed for 101 days.

October 15, 2012: Released from prison and spent seven days out of custody.

October 22, 2012: Convicted of trying to steal a car, possession of cocaine and breach of licence of previous sentence for attacking mother. Spent 59 days at HMP Birmingham.

December 13, 2012: Released unconditionally, without any supervision from Birmingham Prison. Lived rough for the next three months.

Mental problems and violent behavior?  Delete the SOBs.  Or use them for medical experiments instead of cute furry animals. Why not?  They are totally worthless and a drag on taxpayers.  Besides mommy, who’d miss them?

Can anyone explain to me the purpose of a criminal trial, other than to determine if a person is guilty or not guilty?
What if a violent crime, murder for example, is committed in broad daylight?  Add witnesses to nail down the proof.  Or … forget the witnesses.  Sometimes they make mistakes or else they might be,
raaaaaaaaacists.  People like me for instance. I’m happily one of those.
However, what if the perp does the crime and then goes in front of a camera dripping his victim’s blood, weapon in hand?  How about that?
What need is there for a trial?  Why waste court time and give vermin a platform?  Why?  Can anyone please explain the point of that?

So here we are today with yet another headline that just screams RCOB.

Anyone, anywhere will know and recall some months back, when a couple of thick lip, broad of nose … Negroes ( mustn’t use the word that better describes the scum) used a car to run into and disable the Brit soldier victim.  Then, the black bastards cut him to ribbons, tried to behead him and then …. and then … faced a camera calmly explaining that this was revenge for the killing of muslims in muslim countries and saying there would be more killings of the infidels yadda, yadda.

Surely most of you saw that video, with one of them covered in blood and weapon at his side, also bloodied.  And a very brave woman who confronted him.  Any question of guilt here?
I thought it was all over, but no.  To my surprise, they are in court (via video link) and they both deny killing that soldier.
AND …. they want to be addressed by different names if you please.  They are of course being referred to as, Mister.  Get that would ya. Mister indeed.  These arrogant, lying, murderous bits of black filth.

Another news source ran a headline as follows.

“Woolwich murder suspects deny killing soldier.” Suspects?  Huh?  I had to look up the damn word to make sure I still knew what it meant. Hey, at the rate the English language is being raped and abused, maybe the word suspect had changed.  But no. So far it hasn’t but that’s just today. 
There isn’t any ‘suspect’ about this case.

Two plead not guilty to Lee Rigby murder in Woolwich

Fusilier Rigby was killed close to Woolwich barracks in May

Two men accused of murdering soldier Lee Rigby in Woolwich, south-east London, have pleaded not guilty.

Michael Adebolajo, 28, from Romford, east London, and Michael Adebowale, 22, from Greenwich, south-east London, denied the charges at the Old Bailey.
They are accused of murdering Fusilier Rigby near Woolwich barracks on 22 May.

The men also denied attempting to murder a police officer on that day, as well as planning to murder a police officer on or before that day.

Mr Adebolajo has asked to be known as Mujaahid Abu Hamza in court, while Mr Adebowale wants to be called Ismail Ibn Abdullah.

The men appeared via videolink from HMP Belmarsh, with Mr Adebowale sitting in front of a prison sign.

Fusilier Rigby’s widow, Rebecca Rigby, was in court for the hearing.

A trial date has been provisionally set for 18 November.

wusses …. we’re surrounded by wusses I tell ya.

I suppose some of you may think I go looking for things that will make me see red.  Actually, I don’t.  It’s more like those things come looking for me, because they know I’m a rapt audience.  How to avoid getting PO’d.  I guess I could quit listening to the radio in case some liberal blurb comes out of the speaker, and I’m too far away to run and shut the damn thing off.  Quit reading the newspapers. Hey, I know that would work. Except I’d miss a bunch of things I’d want to read.

What happens generally is what happened early this morning while looking at one of our papers over breakfast.  Saw a small headline that said, “I’ll buy protester a new placard”.  Well, I recognized the guy in the photo, I knew what he did cos I’d read it yesterday on line, and at the time I thought, good for you. But you should have kicked the jerk’s balls up around his ears. At the time, it wasn’t a story I considered posting. Who cares about a guy shoving an anti-nuke protester?  Today changed all that.  Cos the story now is his damned apology and I think it was grovelling as you’ll see.

Here’s the background.
He’s a publisher, his client (Damian McBride) has a book out which has been, in part, serialised for the past week in a major paper.  It has caused a storm and it’s pretty much a tell all political thing, some are claiming smear. So lots of controversy and name calling and ill will.  Has NOT a thing to do with wars or bombs or Syria or nukes.

Enter our politically correct old goat who follows news cameras and most especially outside interviews or news spots, where he then hoists his no nukes posters.  Or placards as they are called. He is most likely unemployed or unemployable or perhaps he’s retired due to age.  He apparently has plenty of time to stick his nose and placards in places so he and them can be noticed.  He has to be sick, in a manner of speaking only, to think his feeble little efforts will have any impact or change any govt. policy. But my guess is his ego feels great.  He is a pathetic little man with no other life but to get up the nose of others.

Lets be clear on something.  Yes, free people have a right to protest whatever it is that bothers them.  I’d like to protest my neighbor’s dog with a cannon.  Thing is, this particular schmuck interrupts things as well.
He is where he is not invited and is unwanted.  Not that he cares.

So the creep tries to get into the shot where this interview is taking place, but the publisher decides to act as a bouncer.  At which point I said bravo. Bout time someone stood up to these uninvited pests.

Btw … the “protester’s dog” got so excited during the scuffle, he bit his owner. Ha. Hope it hurt.

So anyway, the publisher received a ‘police caution.’ Which led to … what I consider to be a grovelling apology which lets face it, will just encourage the idiot with the placards.

Immediately after the incident Mr Dale (the publisher) remained defiant, writing on Twitter: ‘Oh dear, I seem to have gone nuclear… Mirror photographer tells me I did what the snappers have wanted to do for years!’
But today he struck a more regretful tone, apologising to Mr Holmes as well as his own family, friends, work colleagues and even Labour leader Ed Miliband.

Writing on his blog, Mr Dale said: ‘I did apologize personally to Mr Holmes on Tuesday afternoon and we shook hands. He agreed to let the matter rest, but I have no complaint that he changed his mind on reflection.
‘Since the events of Tuesday I have gone through what happened over and over again in my mind. Whatever I felt at the time, nothing can justify what I did.
‘In addition, having accepted my guilt, I feel I should make some sort of reparation to Mr Holmes. I will pay for a new placard for him and also make a donation to a charity of his choice.’
He went on: ‘Above all I want to issue this public apology for my behaviour.
‘I want to apologize and say sorry to Stuart Holmes, who is a passionate campaigner and well known to everyone who attends party conferences and was perfectly entitled to do as he did on Tuesday in trying to get attention for his causes. It was totally out of character for me to react to him in the way I did.
‘I also want to apologize for the blogpost I wrote after the incident. It was full of absurd bravado and in the heat of the moment I behaved in a frankly idiotic way.
‘I have embarrassed not only myself but my family and my work colleagues and I apologize to them.
‘I also want to apologize to Labour leader Ed Miliband and his conference attendees.’

Ok, how about militant terrorists ?  Wow, talk about PC and walking on eggs.

Once upon a time in a world that if not saner, and I believe it was, a rose by another name was a what?
Once upon a time the Beeb, as the BBC was called and sometimes still is, was the last word in objective reporting. Who,what,where,when and why if known.  It’s said that now the network has a left bias they hardly even try to hide.

I remember listening to the BBC when the staff spoke English. I mean the Queen’s English.  Now however, some of the ppl who do interviews and are part of the news programs have accents that are jarring to the ear.  Forgetting Hollywood, have you ever listened to someone from Scotland try and speak English?  It has been my misfortune from time to time, to call somewhere and find myself at a call center in Scotland.

What I’m trying to say is that there was once a standard but there no longer is.  And so it is here.

The vermin who killed so many innocents in Nairobi must not be called ‘terrorists’ but ... militants.

They were murderous bastards who enjoyed what they did and they caused terror.  So what’s with this militant crap? 

btw .....  there are some reports of rape having occurred as well as the killings, and mutilations.  Not sure yet if that is confirmed.

BBC under fire over guidance preventing reporters from using the word ‘terrorist’ when covering Nairobi massacre

BBC has continually referred to those behind the terror attack as ‘militants’

The BBC has come under fire for referring to the perpetrators of the Kenyan shopping mall massacre as ‘militants’ rather than ‘terrorists’.

In coverage of the violence at the Westgate mall in Nairobi which has killed more than 60 the Corporation’s journalists have repeatedly described the attackers as ‘Islamic militants’.

It is understood that BBC guidance issued to staff tells them to avoid using the term ‘terrorist’ without attribution, but politicians have reacted with anger to the choice of language.

‘Most members of the British public would see the planned and systematic murder of dozens of innocent people in Kenya as terrorism.

‘Sadly, the BBC looks like it has made a bad judgement call on this and is out of touch with ordinary people on a very important issue.’

In four news bulletins this morning, Neal Sleat, newsreader on Radio 4’s today programme, did not use the word ‘terrorist’ once.

Instead he referred to the culprits as ‘Islamic militants’, while reporters on the BBC website describes those responsible as ‘suspected al-Shabab militants’.

The BBC has come under fire before for apparent influence of political correctness on the choice of language in its journalism.

In January it was criticised for calling the gang behind the Algeria hostage killings ‘militants’ rather than ‘terrorists’. Tory MP Andrew Bridgen said he was disappointed that the broadcaster was ‘consistently’ using the term.

The BBC has specific guidance about the word terrorist, warning its reporters that it can imply value judgements. In one report on its website about the attack at BP’s gas plant, it described the killers as ‘militants’ 12 times. The word ‘terrorist’ appeared only in a quote.

Mr Bridgen quizzed David Cameron on the issue and the Prime Minister agreed that he had a ‘good point’. He added: ‘These are terrorists and they should be described as such.’

Prior to that, in 2011’s summer riots, the BBC repeatedly referred to rioters as ‘protesters’ - even as they were filmed looting shops and attacking police.

Why is 12 years of age too young to be named?

This little shit raped a 6 year old girl, then tells cops .... “I don’t care”.
Why can’t he be made to care?  Cutting off his pecker might go a long way to convincing the scum that he does indeed care.

It this sort of thing that has me convinced the F****** world is mad.  What the F*** was the judge thinking?  Or, maybe she wasn’t. This judge perhaps has nothing to think with.  Good grief.  The little girl is almost a baby.  Even in my far away day at age 12 I knew and so do you at any age, right from wrong, good from evil.  I think we all know it even before our parents teach it.  But the born criminal, the bad seed, that life form knows as well but just does not care.

A schoolboy who raped a six-year-old girl twice has walked free from court despite telling a probation officer ‘I don’t care’ when asked how his young victim felt following her ordeal.

The boy, who cannot be named for legal reasons, admitted forcing the girl to carry out a sex act on two occasions, Ipswich Youth Court heard.

But during a meeting with a court official, who was compiling a pre-sentence report, the youth showed no remorse for his victim.

Prosecutor Simon Newell said the boy was asked what he felt about the impact of his crimes on his victim and replied: ‘I don’t care how she feels.’

District Judge Celia Dawson told him that she was not sending him to a secure youth offending unit because she did not want him to be in the company of ‘older and more sophisticated criminals’.

The boy, who lives on the Suffolk and Norfolk border, was given a 12 month referral order and a 12 month restraining order banning him from contacting the victim or her family.

He was also ordered to pay £300 in compensation to the girl, having admitted two counts of rape at an earlier hearing.

The court heard that the boy’s parents took him to a police station when they heard about the sex attack allegations where he admitted what he had done straight away.

Judgee wudgee then went on to make the following erroneous statement.

‘I hope you are aware if you don’t change your attitude you may have very serious problems in the future.’

The issue of muslim women and the veil is almost always in the news but sometime there’s a bit of a wrinkle in a story that catches my eye.
Not that it’s rocket science and you’d spot it also.

There are it is reported, 17 hospitals here that have a full face ban in place.  Actually, very few wear a full face veil anyway. But a lot of ppl argue and I’d agree, that patients have a right to see the face of those providing care in a hospital.
Anyway ... the whole issue of face covers is absurd.  Why those in power long ago did not clearly state that there are some things NOT compatible with a western country I’ll never know.  But here’s the thing that struck me as odd.

Hospitals are being asked “ to consider “ banning the niqab.  Notice that wording.  Asked to consider?  So then it opens things up for an option to say no?  Consider a ban?  Why the hell not an outright ban and screw anyone who objects.  Let em go and find a job in sandland.

and also in news briefs I have heard and again this comes as no surprise to you.

Syria.
Rebel armies are turning their guns on each other.  They are a rag-tag army made up of different religious and political beliefs - a differing vision if you will, of what each wants a future Syria to be.
And Mr. O. and his Lurch like sec. want to be involved in that?  Putin of course has managed to stall the war games Paris and London and Washington are so eager for. Ha. Be interesting to see how this plays out.

Well, it’s been found that this police official has been selling aid material for Somalia.  I guess he has (or had) a private army of sorts, and aid for Somalia and others were simply stolen by this guy and sold to others who in turn sold things to people meant to be receiving help at no charge.  Not anything new of course.  Been going on for years everywhere in that part of the world.

than any other country.  SUCKERS!

Meanwhile .... our local post office, closed these past five years or so because London says there isn’t any money, remains closed as of this writing.
I do not expect it to reopen in my lifetime.  And this is a village that in the past, had a post office for well over a hundred years.
Of course, we’re talking in the days before mass immigration, and grand give- aways to other countries. 

I wish people were vetted for language skills before being hired. Just a small thing I know. Went into a pastry shop for some evil unhealthy comfort treats. Real whipped cream filled donut like pastry chocolate covered.  Actually looks like a bagel but isn’t. Anyway, I asked the woman behind the counter if she could put it in a box for me. Actually, there were two pastries.  But she thought I was saying ‘bag’. Her English was not the best.  No big deal but let me tell you, it has been a very difficult past two or three days.  Worked myself to exhaustion even with help, digging out bushes and cutting down dead trees etc. Just too damn tired to boot the puter.  Wife still ill and has taken to adding Gin to her pain killers to cope with the back pain.  She isn’t tipsy or anything like that, and it isn’t like every hour, but often enough to be a mite concerned. 

Some work desperately required on the outside upstairs windows.  The wood is rotted and needs treatment and painting etc.  Nothing I can handle.
So it happens that a couple of painters were working on the house next door.  I told the guy we had work needed doing, no problem he says.  As soon as we finish this project, I’ll come by and take a look at what you have. They have been working all week on the house next door.
Yeah right.  They do this a lot over here.  You read about ppl with no jobs all the time, but try and hire someone.
They just do not generally show up.

And finally ...

One of my dearest friends here has been told he has Prostate Cancer.  More tests are scheduled for him next week to see if its traveled anywhere.
He’s a year younger than I am.  Give one pause.

Judge hears face veil trial pleas

A devout Muslim woman should be allowed to stand trial without taking off her full-face veil, because forcing her to do so would breach her human rights, a court has heard.
Making the woman remove her niqab would also be counter to the “tolerant” approach to Islamic dress in the UK, her barrister argued.
The defendant, who cannot be identified for legal reasons, was allowed to enter a not guilty plea to a charge of intimidation with her face covered after a judge backed down from previously saying she must show her face in court to be identified properly. She had argued that it was against her religious beliefs to show her face to men.
Judge Peter Murphy later heard legal argument about whether the woman should be allowed to stand trial without wearing her veil and is due to hand down written directions on Monday.

Ok so you also will remember perhaps that the judge backed down on part of the issue by allowing the skank to be in court covered but she could not take the stand in front of the jury with her face covered. Although on reflection that could be considered a mercy.
As you’ll imagine, all the goats on the left and those who were offended on her behalf crawled out from under their collective rocks to protest at this latest unfair example of islamophobia and racism.

Last night on the radio I heard a debate on the topic that featured a young muzzie woman who I believe is a student at the college that wanted enforce an anti veil policy, but in the end backed down as they were faced with “student protests” at such an unfair policy. Btw, the college already bans hoods and other face coverings as well as hats worn to obscure the face. Apparently however, the niqab is off limits to authorities.

So then, during this radio tit for tat debate on the subject the young woman said, and I swear this is what I clearly heard her say,

“The problem is that people here are NOT accommodating enough toward muslims.”

Well readers of bmews, here’s an up date and a photo of the lying blubber faced bitch.  Look how easy it almost was to con the system cos the system just begs to be screwed.  But not this time. Because,
the woman in question was found to be a fraud and a thief.  Yeah, thief as in she stole £21,000 ( in USA money that comes to $33,641.85 ) from a college where she worked.

She only got 12 months but hey, at least the bitch was exposed.
Police say that there is a rising trend for muslim women to wear the veil outside court to avoid scrutiny.

The theft went on for four years, and funded trips to Florida and home improvements and a divorce.
She finally pled guilty to 19 counts of fraud, at the college where she was a purchasing officer.

idiot judge orders moment of silence for dead gang member. what next?

Insomnia at 3am ... pills not working ... so booted to see what’s what and found this.
There is NO way to ignore the suck up stupidity of the action by yet another idiot, accommodating and appeasing judge.

Some background for you readers briefly.

You will recall the riots that burned cities here in recent years.  The excuse used was the shooting by police of a black gang member who it was thought, was reaching for a weapon inside a car he was riding in.  It turned out there were indeed guns in the car, but a question as to whether the negro was actually going for a gun or had one in hand.  When a cop has to make a quick life and death decision, seconds count.  Fact ... there were weapons in the car. 

So now there another inquiry into the shooting.  When a black is shot or killed by cops in line of duty, the inquests hardly ever end.  They go on and on because of course as everybody knows ... there isn’t any such animal as a guilty black person. Only guilty and racist cops.

That now brigs us to this latest inquest in which the judge .....

A judge took the highly unusual step of leading his court in a moment’s silence to commemorate Mark Duggan, the alleged gangster whose death sparked the 2011 riots which scarred Britain.

Judge Keith Cutler, sitting at Duggan’s inquest, asked everyone inside the courtroom to fall silent and to acknowledge the ‘regrettable loss of a young life’.

Later the inquest heard Duggan was a member of one of Britain’s most notorious gangs and was shot by a police marksman who believed the suspect was about to fire a revolver in a crowded street.

Judge Cutler, sitting as a coroner at the High Court, led the 20-second silence by lowering his head and clasping his hands together.

Addressing the jury, he said: ‘It is right that you should know that present in court today are a number of Mark Duggan’s family and friends and to acknowledge the grief of those family and friends and to respect that loss we will together just have some moments of silence as we sit here to recognise the seriousness of the hearing for which we are about to undertake.’

The request for a moment’s silence was understood to have been made by Duggan’s family and supporters.

Inquests, by their nature, involve the passing of a loved one, but are not generally used to commemorate someone’s death.

The decision to hold a period of silence at the start of an inquest is virtually unprecedented.

oh look. the sky is falling again. muslim family offended. again.

This is not the story of the week or month, but I just wonder what the letters page will look like tomorrow morning.  I’m sure the usual libtards will be out in number taking offence on behalf of the family.
Actually, I think it’s funny someone at the store offered booze.

The devout Khan family was ‘highly insulted’ by Morrisons supermarket over the meat and alcohol double offence to their culture and religion.

His father rang the branch of Morrisons in Cardiff Bay where the manager apologised - and caused further insult by offering them a free bottle of alcoholic bubbly in compensation.

Angry garage worker Mr Khan, 28, said: ‘It is ridiculous and ignorant of our faith - not just once but twice.
‘Firstly they should be far more careful with how they label their products, especially when it could contain meat.
‘But then it is completely wrong of the manager to then give us champagne when Muslims don’t drink alcohol.
‘I feel highly insulted. I don’t want this happening to any other people who are Muslim.’
Mr Khan and his wife Nadia, 29, of Canton, Cardiff, said he will never shop at Morrisons again after the humiliating blunder.

Do you find it interesting that Mr. Kahn just automatically assumes that everyone in the country know muzzies aren’t allowed alcohol? Well, there might be a lot who don’t. I guess Mr. Kahn believes it’s the duty and the responsibility of every citizen here to know all about his twisted 7th cult.  And another thought.

Earlier this week a judge ruled that a muslim woman could not remain covered as people need to be identified and a full face cover defeats that.  Makes sense to the more civilized and rational.
While I am no expert on the Koran, I have heard some muslims say that there is nothing in the Koran about a full face cover, only that women must dress modestly.  The admonition on exposure isn’t meant to include the face.  When the judge ruled against the pushy broad I thought, good.  About time.  You wanna walk around in public looking like the Lone Ranger fine.  Do it in a country where it’s natural, not to mention backward.  So cheers for the judge. Right?
Well not so damn fast kemosabe. 

JUDGE BACKS DOWN OVER FULL FACE COVER

She had argued that it was against her religious beliefs to show her face to men.

Judge Peter Murphy later heard legal argument about whether the woman should be allowed to stand trial without wearing her veil and is due to hand down written directions on Monday.

Her barrister, Susan Meek, argued that the woman, from London, had a right to wear the veil during trial in November under Article 9 of the European Convention of Human Rights, which safeguards religious beliefs. She also highlighted the “tolerant” approach taken to Islamic dress in the UK.

“She is entitled to wear it in private and in public,” Ms Meek said. “That right to wear the niqab also extends to the courtroom. There is no legislation in the UK in respect of the wearing of the niqab. There is no law in this country banning it.”

Judge Murphy allowed the woman to enter the dock at Blackfriars Crown Court and deny a charge of intimidation after she had been identified in a private room by a female police officer.

The Metropolitan Police constable, who was present when the defendant was photographed following her arrest in June, then swore on oath that it was the same woman under the niqab in the dock. Beforehand the defendant had not even been able to enter the dock, because her identity had not been checked.

At the start of Thursday’s hearing Judge Murphy said he had been given a substantial amount of material since the last hearing in August regarding the woman’s right to keep her veil on. He then said: “I would be satisfied for the officer giving evidence, having seen the defendant backstage so to speak in a private setting, saying she could identify her.”

But that isn’t all in news from the front where the West and civilization is being overrun by the forces from the dark ages. The war is being lost on all fronts as those who should know better, appease, accommodate and just plain cave in to the forces of darkness. 

Last week a college issued rules regarding dress code and ruled that the female students of the muslim faith could not cover their faces. An issue of safety and identification meant nothing to the more militant and ignorant both in and out of that group.  But the college said that was the rule and it was going to stand by it.  Well good for them.
Oh yeah?

A college which tried to ban pupils wearing the full facial veil for security reasons has abandoned the rule after a public outcry.

All students, staff and visitors to Birmingham Metropolitan College were told they must have their faces visible at all times so they are ‘easily identifiable’.

But the move was heavily criticised by some students, one describing the policy as disgusting. Nick Clegg said he was ‘uneasy’ about the idea.

More than 800 people claimed they planned to attend a protest against the policy today to stand up to what they said was an ‘Islamophobic’ decision.

David Cameron’s spokesman said the Prime Minister defended the right of educational institutions to be able to ‘set and enforce their own school uniform policies’.

But Deputy Prime Minister Mr Clegg said he felt ‘uneasy’ about a veil ban in a schools, although he could understand why it was needed to identify people at airport checkouts.

The college which has 44,000 students and is the third largest in the UK, said headwear poses a security risk and their policy ‘includes the removal of hoodies, hats, caps and veils so that faces are visible’.

This would stop female Muslim pupils from wearing the niqab, the full facial veil where only the woman’s eyes are visible, or the burqa where the eye area is covered in mesh.

But the college has now issued a statement saying it has decided to modify its stance to allow individuals to wear ‘specific items of personal clothing to reflect their cultural values’.

More than 9,000 people signed an online petition set up by NUS Black Students’ Campaign calling on the college’s principal Dr Christine Braddock to remove the ban.

I’m pretty sure that when it starts to happen in the USA on same scale, if it hasn’t started already, you folks back home won’t be very much surprised. But will anyone be in any position to halt the advance?  Depressingly, I doubt it.  Oh sure, there are millions of guns in the hands of private citizens.  But no organization worthy of the name.  And as you all know I am sure, you can’t make a move or a phone call or send an email or a snail mail but that agencies of the govt. will know everything you say and everything you plan. 
Wouldn’t it be nice if the field could be leveled, and numbers of folks desperate to save country and freedom, were able to infiltrate those agencies as well as get elected to public office and start taking charge of law enforcement agencies.  But I think that might take far more time than we have left.

Sorry for the downer folks.  I guess I’m reading and hearing and seeing too damn much, and find nothing that I find encouraging.

ANOTHER BAD CALL BY AN IDIOT JUDGE … WE REALLY DON’T EXPECT BETTER THESE DAYS.

This is one hell of a story.
I guess this now passes for justice over here.

This guy is rowdy in a pub and is one of those violent drinkers I guess.
So there a fight which spills out into the street.
He’s a real bruiser as you will see, and I really urge you to look at the video assuming it’s still up and running.

Anyway, the thug bites a chunk out of the other guy’s tongue. Now how the heck he managed that I don’t know, but he did.
So the victim is bleeding badly and thug runs off.  Victim goes after him, catches up and proceeds to beat him up, after which he goes to a hosp. Where it is found, they can’t reattach the bit that’s been bitten off.  So now the poor guy speaks with an impediment.

So when the case comes to court …. and btw the guy who did the damage has a long record of violent behavior … well the judge, a skank named Gillian Matthews who we can only wish the worst upon, let the creep off because, she trusted him to stop his violent behavior. This in spite of previous convictions for same.

This same judge freed a paedophile because he claimed that his seven year old victim, came on to him.  You couldn’t make that up.
In 2011 she told a serial criminal he could do jail, “standing on his head.” So she gave him s suspended sentence saying he needed tougher punishment.  ??????  Yeah. I don’t understand that either.

I think the victim should find a gun, shoot the SOB and then claim diminished mental responsibility. He might luck out and get the same judge. A thug who bit off a man’s tongue mocked his victim outside court after he was spared jail by a judge.
David Greaves, 50, pumped his fist and shouted ‘tongue’s twisted!’ as he celebrated avoiding custody for the sickening assault.

The window cleaner has a string of previous convictions for violence and was expected to be locked up for attacking father-of-two John Dufton.

But Judge Gillian Matthews instead handed down a suspended sentence because she ‘trusted’ him to stop his violent behaviour.

The same judge sparked controversy last year when she refused to jail a convicted paedophile who claimed a child made sexual advances towards him.

Yesterday, victim Mr Dufton, 33, was ‘furious’ with the leniency of the sentence and is demanding a review by the Attorney General.

A family friend said: ‘This man has done this sort of thing before on a number of occasions. A suspended prison sentence for biting off someone’s tongue just doesn’t make sense.’

Teesside Crown Court heard how Greaves started the trouble inside a pub in Chester-le-Street on May 25 by head-butting and punching Mr Dufton. As the fight spilled outside, Greaves tried to gouge his victim’s eyes with his thumbs.

Prosecutor Peter Sabiston said: ‘He pulled his head down, inserted his tongue, shook his head and somehow managed to latch on to Mr Dufton’s tongue.

He was horrified as the defendant then bit him.’
Despite his injuries, Mr Dufton chased his attacker and gave him a ‘comprehensive beating’ before going to hospital.

Surgeons were unable to re-attach the missing part of the tongue, which had been taken to hospital in ice.

He said: ‘The pain was unbearable, I was in agony, the worst pain I have ever known in my life. The fact that he celebrated like he did outside court, sticking his tongue out, just shows what kind of man he is.’

Greaves, who has convictions for violence going back to 1997, said he had no memory of the biting.
He admitted causing grievous bodily harm, which carries a maximum sentence of five years.

Judge Matthews called it a ‘truly horrific’ attack, adding: ‘How he behaved to you in advance did not justify your disgraceful conduct, which must have been a truly horrendous thing.’

However, she said she was ‘trusting’ Greaves, of Pelton, County Durham, to stop his violent behaviour and handed down a two-year suspended jail term.

She also ordered him to pay £2,000 in compensation and imposed a two-year restraining order. Last year, Judge Matthews outraged children’s charities after freeing paedophile John Thompson, who accused his seven-year-old victim of ‘coming on to him’.

In 2011, the judge told serial criminal James Wanley he could do jail ‘standing on his head’ and needed ‘a tougher punishment’ – so she gave him a suspended sentence.

old and disillusioned , veteran gives away all his and family military medals

This caught my eye tonight. So sad it’s come to this for an old vet to feel this way.  But no surprise.  Is it.

I’ve heard similar from those much younger.  But when an old soldier who has served his country and lived into old age gets to feeling like this well, you just know things aren’t gonna get much better.  And anyway, I’m sure it didn’t just come on him overnight.

He served in World War II where he won a variety of medals and spent two years in PoW camp in Africa
He has now given away more than a dozen medals earned by him, his father and his brother in protest at old people being treated like ‘rubbish’

Stanley Gordon Fox earned an assortment of honours including the Military Cross for his heroics in World War II.

But now the disenchanted OAP says he no longer feels any affinity with the country he served with such distinction.

He has sent his collection of 23 medals to a children’s hospice along with medals earned by his brother and his father, who fought in Boer Wars and the First World War.

He said: ‘No one seems to care these days, older people are just treated like a bit of rubbish.

‘The country is not as we all hoped. It is not what we fought for. We were proud to fight for the country and I was proud to wear the medals.
