ISIS: hellspawn barbarians lead by former US prisoner

ISIS forces execute bound prisoners in a shallow grave. Too graphic? Too bad. This is reality. And this picture is nothing compared with the rest of them that they’ve gleefully put out online. I’m not linking to the videos.
Blood-thirsty jihadists are carrying out summary executions on civilians, Iraqi soldiers and police officers - including 17 in one street alone - on their warpath to Baghdad, the UN said today.
As a shocking picture of the ISIS insurgency continues to develop, the Islamist group are posting barbaric videos online with the intent of showing the world they will stop at nothing to achieve their end game.
In one, which is too graphic to publish, fighters are seen knocking on the door of a Sunni police major in the dead of night.
When he answers, they blindfold and cuff him. Then they carve off his head with a knife in his own bedroom as sweetly lilting religious hymns are played over the top.
An image of the officer’s decapitated head was tweeted with the sickening message: ‘This is our ball. It is made of skin #WorldCup’. ISIS also claims to have executed 1,700 Shia soldiers on their push for the capital.
Although this figure has not been verified, the UN today warned that hundreds of people are likely to have been killed by the fanatics since the uprising.
It’s a damn good thing that OBAMA RELEASED THEIR LEADER IN 2009, otherwise who knows how savage these animals would be behaving!
The United States once had Islamic State of Iraq and al-Shams (ISIS) leader Abu Bakr al Baghdadi in custody at a detention facility in Iraq, but president Barack Obama let him go, it was revealed on Friday.
Al Baghdadi was among the prisoners released in 2009 from the U.S.’s now-closed Camp Bucca near Umm Qasr in Iraq.
But now five years later he is leading the army of ruthless extremists bearing down on Baghdad who want to turn the country into an Islamist state by blazing a bloody trail through towns and cities, executing Iraqi soldiers, beheading police officers and gunning down innocent civilians.

Obama Even Worse Than We Thought

President Obama spoke on Iraq earlier today [Friday], pledging to do nothing and essentially saying nothing, even as that nation is breaking apart, with Islamic militants overrunning Iraq and vowing to capture Baghdad.
In light of the unfolding disaster in Iraq, which is linked to the unfolding disaster in Syria, which is part of a broader failure in the Middle East, which is only one part of an across-the-board failure in foreign policy, which is separate from the failures at home–including healthcare.gov and ObamaCare more broadly, chronically high unemployment, the stimulus and “shovel ready jobs,” a historically weak economic recovery, the lowest workforce participation rate since the 1970s, increasing income inequality, and record poverty–the following needs to be said. Even those of us who were highly critical of Mr. Obama early on, who twice voted against him and worked in campaigns to defeat him, could not envision how epically incompetent he would be.
The harm this man has done is immeasurable. And he still has more than two years left to go.
Tip of the old iceberg there, Petey. There’s at least two dozen scandals and Amateur Hour episodes in there that you missed, from losing the Olympics to Fast And Furious to immigration to unions to beer summits and beyond. Probably five dozen at this point.

the basic truth

Lloyd Marcus calls a spade a spade, and boldly goes where no media outlet but every right wing blog has already gone. He just goes there a bit better than most of us.
Clearly, no amount of unprecedented unlawful power grabs, narcissistic behavior, blatant lies, and ignoring of the Constitution will sway the mainstream media and the Democrats from their loyalty to Obama. Why? The answer is Obama is black, which makes him their ultimate weapon of mass
destruction able to nuke traditional America. Obama’s mission is to cram his radical socialist/progressive dream for America down our throats.
Obama’s reign of terror is but a mere preview of things to come if the MSM and Democrats are successful in duping Americans into handing Hillary Clinton the keys to the Oval Office.

Rumor To News: Two Or Three Years
Yet you’ve known about it for years. Pretty much. But it’s still a bit confusing.
The same missiles Hillary sent to arm the Libyan rebels. Probably not, but maybe some of those same 20,000/800/480 MANPADs that evaporated from Ghaddafi’s warehouses. And later turned up in Syria and elsewhere. A news story nearly dead on arrival. Don’t want to hear it, doesn’t fit the agenda, never happened, those were only vehicle mounted SA-24s and Russia says it never shipped them shoulder stocks, nothing to see here, bye bye.
Two years after the fact, it makes the newspapers. Because Qatar.
The Obama administration isn’t only giving the Taliban back its commanders — it’s giving them weapons.
Miliary records and sources reveal that on July 25, 2012, Taliban fighters in Kunar province successfully targeted a US Army CH-47 helicopter with a new generation Stinger missile.
They thought they had a surefire kill. But instead of bursting into flames, the Chinook just disappeared into the darkness as the American pilot recovered control of the aircraft and brought it to the ground in a hard landing.
The assault team jumped out the open doors and ran clear in case it exploded. Less than 30 seconds later, the Taliban gunner and his comrade erupted into flames as an American gunship overhead locked onto their position and opened fire.
The next day, an explosive ordnance disposal team arrived to pick through the wreckage and found unexploded pieces of a missile casing that could only belong to a Stinger missile.
Lodged in the right nacelle, they found one fragment that contained an entire serial number.
The investigation took time. Arms were twisted, noses put out of joint. But when the results came back, they were stunning: The Stinger tracked back to a lot that had been signed out by the CIA recently, not during the anti-Soviet jihad.
They believe the Qataris delivered between 50 and 60 of those same Stingers to the Taliban in early 2012, and an additional 200 SA-24 Igla-S surface-to-air missiles.
Qatar now is expected to hold five Taliban commanders released from Guantanamo for a year before allowing them to go to Afghanistan.
But if we can’t trust the Qataris not to give our weapons to the Taliban, how can we trust them with this?

After the Soviets had retreated, however, the CIA spent millions of dollars trying to buy back the remaining missiles from the Afghan fighters.

[9/07/2011] A potent stash of Russian-made surface-to-air missiles is missing from a huge Tripoli weapons warehouse amid reports of weapons looting across war-torn Libya.
They are Grinch SA-24 shoulder-launched missiles, also known as Igla-S missiles, the equivalent of U.S.-made Stinger missiles.
Riight. But these were the commie bottle rockets, not the ever lovin’ Red White and Blue version. So maybe that doesn’t matter here.

DiGenova represents Benghazi whistleblower Mark Thompson. He told WMAL that he “does not know whether [the missiles] were at the annex, but it is clear the annex was somehow involved in the distribution of those missiles.”
Although many of us online had made the missile connection well before this article, which came out 11 months after Benghazi. Heck, even Rand Paul had figured that one out by February 2013. The rest of us just nodded our heads and thought “yup, Fast & Furious, the International Version”.

It’s all a bit confusing, but it seems that Gadhaffi’s warehouses had lots of old model Soviet SA-7s, plenty of new model SA-24s (although nobody really knows if they were only the truck mounted model or not) and possibly, perhaps, maybe, some Stingers. From 1980s Afghanistan maybe? Who knows. But when it was time to arm up the rebels, in that emergency little war we just had to get involved in, somehow the USA had to SEND the rebels new missiles, and they went there via the little flyspeck nation of Qattar. And sticky fingers managed to misplace a couple of pallets full. Which shortly ended up in Afghanistan, being used against our helicopter. Two months before Benghazi. Beats me why we couldn’t have just rowed a boat full to shore and handed them over directly, instead of going through how many hands and how many countries on a path that started in Qattar, 2100 miles away.
But now it’s a Big Deal, because now we’re supposed to trust Qattar to keep those 5 newly released AQ terrorists under control. Sure they will.

it’s cold, it’s windy, it’s been raining and as if that isn’t bad enuff, obama is on a spend spree
Heard something on the news and saw a mention in morning paper with regard to that madman in the white house.
First of all, as Drew already pointed out, he has set some kind of deadline for American industry to save the planet and thus have the euro-weenies love us again. OK .. no need to visit that one again.
Then he agrees to a prisoner exchange with the bearded bastards in sand land for a guy who, we are told by another soldier, simply walked off his post.
Maybe he was mental, like maybe he lost it and didn’t really know what the heck he was doing. I guess that could be possible. ??? Haven’t a clue. But I heard that when troops went looking for him, one was killed during the hunt. Anyway .... isn’t that like recognizing the terrorists as a regular army representing a country somewhere? I think now that the example is out there, it gives those vermin hope and encouragement that there could be future deals. So we got back one damaged individual and they get back five who btw ... can talk about their experience at Guantanamo and American interrogation techniques and what to expect. Hey, I guess the one we got back can talk about taliban cuisine.
But the one I heard and read about is what had me wondering the most. 2nd most.
Spend-em-up Obama is pledging a Billion Dollars to, “ Defend European Allies.” Well, that’s what I heard on the news and read in the paper. They can’t both be wrong. It’s not so much the money as we all know Americans are very wealthy and just rolling in the green stuff. So it’s only fair to share the wealth. You know, to each according to his needs etc. And I guess they still need over there. I hadn’t realized they were actually our allies though. Honest? Allies?
I think he has Eastern Europe in mind and specifically the Ukraine.
Meanwhile ... Mr Putin is suggesting that the USA could be edging toward a new arms race and a possible new cold war, if any military buildup occurs near it’s borders with eastern Europe. Yeah, I can see where that might make the always paranoid Ruskies a tad nervous. But then ... I do believe they have a history of armies on or too near their own borders. And doesn’t the USA also have border problems?
Not to worry folks.

King Obama
Florida Republican Senator Marco Rubio savaged President Obama for his failure to notify Congress about the release of five Taliban prisoners from Guantanamo Bay as the law requires, claiming the president “believes somehow he’s become a monarch or an emperor.”
Rubio spoke Tuesday with Fox News’ host Gretchen Carlson about the White House’s refusal to tell Congress before they traded five high-level Taliban prisoners for Army Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl, captured by the Taliban after his likely desertion in 2009.
“The president has violated the law here,” the Florida senator asserted. “The law is very clear. He must give congressional notification 30 days before any prisoner in Guantanamo is released. He failed to do that.”
“Apparently the only person he told was [Senate Majority Leader] Harry Reid,” Rubio continued. “He didn’t even tell the chairwoman of the intelligence committee, a Democrat, Diane Feinstein.”
“This is a pattern of behavior by this White House,” the lawmaker later declared. “He believes somehow that he’s become a monarch or an emperor, that can basically ignore the law and do whatever he wants. And there’s a real, growing frustration — even among Democrats — at this sort of behavior.”
It’s true. And it’s real.

Obama Plays CYA At VA
President Obama accepted the resignation Friday of Veterans Affairs Secretary Eric Shinseki, amid a burgeoning scandal over delayed care for veterans at VA hospitals.
In a hastily arranged statement after meeting with Mr. Shinseki at the White House, the president said he accepted the resignation “with considerable regret” and admitted that the decision was partly political.
The president said Mr. Shinseki told him “that he could not carry out the next stages of reform without being a distraction himself.”
“And so, you know, my assessment was, unfortunately, that he was right,” the president told reporters. “We’ve also got to deal with Congress and you guys.”
The president said VA Deputy Secretary Sloan Gibson, who has been in his post only three months, will take over on an interim basis.
The scandal became public several weeks ago, but the calls for Mr. Shinseki’s resignation among Democrats began in earnest Wednesday when a VA Inspector General’s report that showed the scope of the problem at the VA hospital in Phoenix had affected about 1,700 veterans.

The scandal began last month when a whistleblower revealed that veterans were being placed on a “secret wait list” at the Phoenix VA facility that almost guaranteed they would not receive timely care. The initial report caused a handful of GOP lawmakers to call for Mr. Shinseki to step down.

We’re not supposed to ask why Senator Obama, member of the Veteran’s Affairs Committee, didn’t make any effort to get to the bottom of the problem back then. And having known that this area, the one he is particularly concerned about, was having problems way back then, why is it only now, 5 years and more into his pResidency, that he’s even looking into it?

Obama, Still At Sea
President Obama, in a commencement address at the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, signaled a significant shift in U.S. foreign policy—one that pulls back from what he described as “military adventures” while wielding American power in other ways.
The president described the new American foreign policy as one of “collective action” and restraint, deploying unilateral U.S. military force only when the American people are threatened. He outlined his vision a day after announcing his plan for gradually drawing down the U.S. force in Afghanistan once the war formally ends later this year.
“The landscape has changed,” Obama told the graduating class at West Point on Wednesday, citing the end of the Iraq and Afghanistan wars.
The president took on what he described as “interventionists” from both parties, and said that while “isolationism” is not an option, “U.S. military action cannot be the only—or even primary—component of our leadership in every instance.”
The president advised that crises around the world that don’t directly threaten Americans be met first with non-military options: diplomacy, sanctions and “collective action.”
The president pointed to Syria as one battlefield where allies could work together to ease the crisis. He pledged to work with Congress to “ramp up support” for certain elements in the Syrian opposition who “offer the best alternative to terrorists and a brutal dictator.”
Separately, administration officials told The Associated Press that Obama and his team are weighing sending a limited number of U.S. troops to Jordan as part of a mission to train and equip certain moderate members of the Free Syrian Army.
And I’m pretty sure we’ve heard that very dangerous, open ended line about a limited number of military advisers and troops before. Yeah, around 1961 I think it was, to train some of the moderate locals to fight against the insurgency. And look where that got us. [cough cough]
Meanwhile, his One-derfulness’ plan to nip terrorism in the bud is to drop $5 Billion on raggy governments in the lands where jihad comes from. Because we can trust those tinpot dictators to spend the money wisely (Paris real estate is a great investment right now!), to talk peace love and granola to their wild eyed peasants, and to keep the imams in line. ( but wait, wasn’t Obama behind getting rid of the tinpot dictators in Libya and Egypt who had done just that?? ). And of course, once those leaders are bought off this time, they’ll stay bought off forever.
As early as 1784 Congress followed the tradition of the European shipping powers and appropriated $80,000 as tribute to the Barbary states, directing its ministers in Europe, Thomas Jefferson and John Adams, to begin negotiations with them. Trouble began the next year, in July 1785, when Algerians captured two American ships and the dey of Algiers held their crews of twenty-one people for a ransom of nearly $60,000.

The pasha of Tripoli then declared war on the United States. Although as secretary of state and vice president he had opposed developing an American navy capable of anything more than coastal defense, President Jefferson dispatched a squadron of naval vessels to the Mediterranean. As he declared in his first annual message to Congress: “To this state of general peace with which we have been blessed, one only exception exists. Tripoli, the least considerable of the Barbary States, had come forward with demands unfounded either in right or in compact, and had permitted itself to denounce war, on our failure to comply before a given day. The style of the demand admitted but one answer. I sent a small squadron of frigates into the Mediterranean. . . .”

On May 7, 2014 Michelle Obama added her voice to worldwide calls for the safe return of over 200 kidnapped Nigerian schoolgirls. The First Lady tweeted: ‘Our prayers are with the missing Nigerian girls and their families. It’s time to #BringBackOurGirls.” The tweet was signed “-mo,” indicating that she sent it herself.
Am I the only one who finds this picture not just pathetic but more than a bit embarrassing?
After all, they aren’t “our girls”. They’re Nigeria’s.
And dollars to donuts, they’re either already dead, or already sold off as slave brides.
And the strongest nation in history - ours - all we can do here is to put up a picture of sad eyed Mooch holding a Twitter sign??
I’m not seeing much condemnation on the TV news about why Boko Haram did what they did and is saying what they are saying. Oh noes, can’t have that. We must all look the other way and pretend they aren’t following a playbook straight out of the koran, word for bloody word:
The girls have not been seen since Boko Haram militants abducted them on April 14 from the Government Girls Secondary School in rural Chibok, about 80 miles (130 kilometers) west of Maiduguri and some 600 miles from the capital of Abuja.
That was followed on Sunday night by another kidnapping, with villagers in Warabe accusing Boko Haram militants of taking at least eight girls between the ages of 12 and 15.
Boko Haram’s leader, Abubakar Shekau, took credit in a video that surfaced this week for the mass kidnappings.
“I abducted your girls,” he taunted in the video, first obtained by Agence France Presse. “There is a market for selling humans. Allah says I should sell. He commands me to sell.”
Meanwhile, I don’t really think Nigeria cares much, one way or the other. But they’re being forced into pro-Western posturing, and who knows, they’ll probably get another zillion dollars in aid money out of this.
Nigerian President Goodluck Jonathan pledged on Thursday to find more than 200 schoolgirls abducted by Islamist rebels, saying their rescue would mark “the beginning of the end of terrorism” in the country.
Speaking at the World Economic Forum (WEF) being hosted in the capital Abuja, President Jonathan also thanked foreign nations including the US, Britain, France and China for their support in trying to rescue the girls, who were kidnapped from a secondary school on April 14.
He also thanked the delegates for coming despite the terrorist threat facing Nigeria, saying that it would show that the terrorists hadn’t won.

The abduction which happened on April 15 has sparked international outrage and mounting demands for Nigeria to spare no effort to find and free the girls before they can be sold into slavery or otherwise harmed.
Nigeria’s police have said more than 300 girls were abducted from their secondary school in the country’s remote northeast. Of that number, 276 remain in captivity and 53 managed to escape.
Malala Yousafzai was shot by the Taliban as she boarded her school bus in the valley of Swat, northwest Pakistan after she spoke publicly about girls’ rights to education.

Now, Boko Haram may be going after those trying to find the girls. On Thursday, Nigerian police said one officer was shot in the neck during a gunfight with suspected members of the group on the road between Maiduguri and Chibok.
And on Monday, Boko Haram attacked Gamboru Ngala, a remote state capital near Nigeria’s border with Cameroon that has been used as a staging ground for troops in the search for the girls. Some of the at least 310 victims were burned alive.
The assault fits a pattern of revenge-seeking by Boko Haram against those perceived to disagree with the group or those who have provided aid to the Nigerian government.
310 victims? As in, dead? This is a major massacre. Why isn’t it the top news story around the world? Oh, right, I know. Because it’s Africa. Where this kind of feral barbarity happens every day. Nothing new here at all. But it shows you who is the Strong Horse here, don’t it? And it ain’t the Nigerian Army, who just got played by what had to be a huge force of terrorists.
The town of Gamboru Ngala, near the border with Cameroon, was crowded with traders for the market day on Monday when the suspect Islamist militants attacked.
Senator Ahmed Zanna told the BBC’s Hausa service that they arrived in a convoy of vehicles, shooting, stealing food and motorbikes and burning hundreds of cars and buildings during their rampage.
Another resident said they were shouting “Allahu Akbar [God is great]”.
The militants had used a diversionary tactic to get the security forces out of Gamboru Ngala by spreading rumours that the abducted schoolgirls had been spotted somewhere else, Mr Zanna and several residents said.
A resident of Gamboru Ngala told the BBC that 310 people had been buried on Tuesday and Wednesday.
310 dead here. 2000 or more since these terrorists started things up in 2009. And all Obama’s America will do for “our people” in “the motherland” is Tweet a picture of some dumbshit hashtag sign. Wow. Impressive.

Because Obama is black, even opposing his policies, ill conceived as they are, is decried as racist
This is where we have arrived in today’s America. The official progressivism party line lauds racial discrimination in order to, wait for it… prevent racial discrimination! So racial discrimination is illegal and immoral, unless the discrimination is aimed toward whites, practiced in the furtherance of social justice. Quite frankly, this practice constitutes the most condescending form of racism in that it assumes that these favored groups need to be held to a lower standard than everyone else. And everyone else needs to be obstructed in order for some minorities to be successful. It’s akin to forcing prima ballerinas to wear sandbags while dancing, so as not to outperform the other dancers.
This outlook has resulted in a presidency that is mindboggling in its incompetence and criminal in its relation to the Constitution. Under the Constitution, federal officials, including the president, must obey the laws of the United States, or be subject to impeachment, which like an indictment, is issued for Treason, Bribery, or other High Crimes and Misdemeanors.

Overnight Disgust At Two More End Runs
Two stories I saw today that just make me sick. Sometimes I want to cover stories, but they just upset me too much for reasoned rhetoric. I want to throw a hissy fit, fling monkey poop, and violently silence the opposition. In other words, I want to act like a Democrat.
One, from the 15th: Leftie New York Governor Andrew Cuomo signed the “National Popular Vote Bill”, pledging to work under the table with a bunch of other states to do an Obama end-run around the Electoral College, by holding off assigning New York’s 29 electoral votes until all the votes in the nation are counted up, at which point NY’s electoral votes would go to the popular vote winner. Regardless of how the people of NY actually voted. And this was done, as far as I know, with no ballot initiative at all. In other words, the people of NY are having the power of their votes taken away from them, pretty much by fiat from the capital at Albany. Nice. Doooouche. But don’t worry, all the talking-points-puppets at the news article think it’s all kinds of wonderful.
AFAIK, California, New York, New Jersey, Hawaii, Rhode Island, DC, Maryland, Massachusetts, Vermont, and Washington state are the ones signed on for this end run.
Ok, I don’t see the real point of having an Electoral College these days, IF those delegates are pledged to vote for their party’s candidate. And I don’t think I’d want them if they weren’t. There has to be a better way in this day and age. Something like, 2 Electing votes per state. I’m rather tired of the vast majority of states being pushed aside during Presidential elections, and I’m beyond tired of the over-represented, urban voter, often a minority, piss and moan about disenfranchisement, when it’s those very urban areas that usually dictate policy to the rest of the state. What, do you really think New York is just New York City? Nope, that’s just 2 or 3 tiny counties out of 50 or so. Is Michigan only Detroit? Hardly. We need a more equal system at the county level of the states first, to give back some political power to the rural and suburban citizens. After that we’ll figure out how to fix the Electoral College.
But this NPVB? Pure garbage. Unless you want California, New York City, Philadelphia, and Miami Beach to decide who the President will be. Forever. And yeah, those are all totally Dem areas, and this is a totally Dem ( and Dim, and Dum ) idea.
Two, Obama and his boy Holder are going to try and help out “his people” to an extreme. He wants to issue clemency to all the folks in jail for smokin and dealin crack. Probably 85% or more of whom are black urban youths. So while other presidents have done a few pardons, with Obama we’re talking tens of thousands. And an army of homies back on the street. I don’t know about regular stoners, or acid droppers, line snifferes, or other drug users or sellers. But crack heads? Let “my people” go!
In the meantime, however, thousands of inmates are still serving federally mandated sentences that imposed strict penalties for the possession of crack cocaine. The Fair Sentencing Act, which President Obama signed in 2010, reduced the disparity between convictions for crack and powder cocaine, and Obama has called sentences passed under the older guidelines “unduly harsh.” The law also eliminated the five-year mandatory minimum sentence for the simple possession of crack cocaine.
“There are still too many people in federal prison who were sentenced under the old regime — and who, as a result, will have to spend far more time in prison than they would if sentenced today for exactly the same crime,” Holder said Monday. “This is simply not right.”
For about two decades, strict sentences were imposed on offenders convicted of trafficking or possession with intent to traffic crack cocaine in the belief that the substance was more addictive than powder cocaine, inexpensive and linked to violent crime.
Personally, I don’t think he’s going far enough. I mean, for starters, it was the mostly useless US Congress that demanded those onerous penalties and mandatory sentences, “to get tough on crime”. Which is pure crap, just like Zero Tolerance in school systems, Mandatory’s first cousin. So, in an effort to “promote social justice”, Lord Obama is once again - as usual, as ALWAYS - trying to do an end run around the Legislature. He doesn’t even try to work with those stiffs. He just goes around them, every time.
No, not far enough. Anyone in jail, anywhere, for recreational use of any substance, or possession of any drug-like substance with no actual proof of actual distribution, not the BS “intent” ... no weapons or violence involved ... let them go. Do a little bit of fast judicial review, figure out if the DA ran up a fat nonsense rap sheet to make himself look good, and if so, adios muchacho. On the other hand, and this is my big fear that the federal government will screw this up, is that violent felons, gang bangers, and other serious criminals also tend to be recreational drug users. And the cops will bust the fence or the racketeer, and also charge them for the rocks and roaches they find lying around. Those folks, you leave in jail. But Obama and Holder will be “accidentally” stupid and let them out if they happen to be black. You know they will. And we’ll have something like a Charles Bronson movie to deal with.
