The poor Brits just can not win this one. Mind you .... the average Brit if such a thing still exists, don’t want this. They are not immigrant haters. It’s the sort and the numbers that have them pulling the proverbial hair, those who still have any.

French border police have caught 28 illegal immigrants trying to smuggle themselves out of Britain on a cross-Channel ferry.
Two families with children and another 22 men were all found hidden aboard a Polish lorry when it arrived in the northern French port of Calais.
It is a rare example of ‘reverse immigration’ - against the flow of hundreds of migrants a day who try to sneak aboard lorries and ferries from Calais to the UK.
The Bangladeshi, Pakistani, Afghani and Sri Lankan nationals are all thought to have been trying to return to their home countries by crossing illegally through Europe.
They were caught when the P&O ferry Spirit of France arrived in Calais at 2.20am on Thursday.
All 28 immigrants were returned to Dover at 6.40pm that evening on P&O’s Pride of Canterbury.
P&O spokesman Chris Laming said: ‘There have been occasions in the past when individual migrants have sought to go back to their homelands.
‘But we have never seen anything on this scale before. It’s very unusual.
‘There is normally one way traffic from France to Britain in the tide of illegal immigrants.
‘It is most unusual to see them going the other way.’
A Home Office spokesperson said: ‘Border Force officers in Dover are currently processing 28 people who were found by the Police Aux Frontieres in Calais concealed in a lorry which had crossed the Channel from Dover.
‘Under an agreement between the UK and French governments the 28 were returned to Dover in the same way as clandestine migrants found at our controls in Calais are passed to the French authorities.
‘If those questioned are found to have no right to remain in the UK we will take action to remove them.’

my dark thoughts for the day and a must see video
Don’t know what you’ll make of this. I don’t find him hard to believe, although judging by some of the response, there are those many who are quite happy to keep denying the evidence.
Tell you the truth .... I’ve come to the point where I am not sure it matters much. I can not see things getting better unless there’s a very violent, bloody revolution in the USA. And I do not see that happening. Even if did, both sides would be losers like two countries nuking each other.
I’m just too damn old to see a bright future because for all my years I’ve been hearing the same bs from our so called leaders. Left/right it makes no difference.
It has come to a point where, as I have shared a number of times, the USA even has foreign based left wing rights groups, operating openly in America. And as Drew pointed out to me in a recent mail, even operating from this side of the Atlantic, one woman was able to generate enough following and work the press and govts. here, to foul up American justice (? we still have that?) system with regard to drug used in the death penalty. Which is now illegal to export to the USA.
Hey ... bad as things are on the borders re. the USA, be a little thankful you aren’t on this side where things can be even worse, with illegals coming from all parts of the world but specifically sandland and afrika and ..... you name the country. It’s Europe and more specific, Germany and England and France and the Netherlands they infect. Britain is first choice btw. You can’t have any idea unless you live here or Europe. And who rules? Who do ya think?

But there is some good news this week on the migration front.
There will be 140 fewer of them infesting Italian shores, after 140 were killed in a fight on a packed boat where they were being smuggled into Europe.
So far, five men are accused of killing the 140 of 560 life forms aboard the leaky craft. Damn. Only 140. But hey, it’s a gift to be celebrated.

About Bloody Time
Monday, Texas Gov. Rick Perry (R) announced he is deploying 1,000 Texas National Guard to the U.S. border with Mexico, saying he can not idly sit by while “our citizens are under siege.”
Pointing out the tens of thousands pf unaccompanied minors only make up roughly 20 percent of those being apprehended illegally crossing the border, Perry said he can no longer wait for the president to act as gang members and drug cartels flood into Texas, causing crime to skyrocket. Perry pointed out Texas tax payers can not bear the expense of processing and housing the surge of illegal immigration caused by President Obama’s 2012 executive action “Dream Act” which has given people in Central America the idea children will be allowed to stay once in the U.S.
Perry has repeatedly called on President Obama to visit the border, calling his refusal Obama’s “Katrina,” moment.
Perry, a vocal critic of the White House’s response to the border crisis—and who is mulling a second presidential run in 2016—said the state has a responsibility to act after “lip service” from the federal government.
He rejected suggestions that Texas was militarizing local communities by putting National Guard troops on the ground or that crime data along the border doesn’t justify additional resources.
The deployment will cost Texas an estimated $12 million a month. Texas Adjutant General John Nichols said his troops would simply be “referring and deterring” immigrants and not detaining people—though Nichols said the National Guard could if asked.
“We think they’ll come to us and say, `Please take us to a Border Patrol station,” Nichols said.
More than 3,000 Border Patrol agents currently work in the region, and Perry has repeatedly asked Obama to send the National Guard to the border. Much of the area has been overwhelmed in recent months by tens of thousands of unaccompanied children illegally entering the U.S.
U.S. Customs and Border Protection didn’t respond to a request for comment Monday.
President George W. Bush sent 6,000 National Guard troops to the border in 2006, and Obama eventually extended that deployment while ordering a second wave of National Guard forces to Texas, California, Arizona and New Mexico in 2010. But the second round saw reduced numbers of troops, and most of their work was limited to air patrols in counterdrug operations.
Perry announced last month that Texas would steer another $1.3 million each week to the Department of Public Safety to assist in border security through at least the end of the year. In a letter to Obama on June 20, Perry made several requests for help along the border, including 1,000 National Guard troops, additional helicopters and giving troops “arrest powers to support Border Patrol operations until sufficient Border Patrol resources can be hired, trained and deployed to the border.”
Let’s see if this is for real this time. Last time, under Booosh, all they did was deliver coffee and donuts. They weren’t even armed, or issued ammo.
And I’m pretty certain that, while 1,000 troops are a bit of a help, another 20,000 Texans would be more than happy to volunteer a day or a week as a bit of a second line if asked. We are be invaded after all.
We have reached a crossroads. The time for bullshit is over.

WESLACO - A center for unaccompanied minors set to open in Weslaco later this year will be the first of its kind in the nation, officials with a network of non-profits said.
BCFS Health and Human Services secured a multi-million federal contract to house young illegal immigrants at the site of the current Palm Aire Hotel and Suites on FM 1015.
Representatives with BCFS said the Palm Aire will undergo a multi-million dollar transformation.

The Obama administration has awarded a $50 million contract to a charitable group to buy a Texas resort hotel and transform it in to a 600 bed facility for juvenile illegal aliens.
The beautiful Palm Aire resort and hotel has an indoor Olympic sized pool and an outdoor pool. Free Wi-Fi and cable TV are included in the simply decorated guest rooms.

The Palm Aire Hotel and Suites currently advertises amenities such as two outdoor swimming pools—one Olympic sized—Jacuzzis, sauna, steam room, two racquetball courts, outdoor tennis courts, picnic area with grills and a fitness center with twenty machines and free weights.

BCFS plans to employ 650 people at the Palm Aire Hotel and Suites, which would mean slightly over one worker per illegal alien child. According to the BCSF Website, the charity’s jobs pay from $10 to $45 per hour.

According to a Hidalgo County commissioner, the BCFS contract for the Palm Aire Hotel and Suites is an annual one worth $50 million per year. It is not part of the $3.7 billion emergency funding for the illegal alien invasion requested by the Obama administration as the bill hasn’t yet passed but it is a good indication of where the money will go.

A new intelligence assessment concludes that misperceptions about U.S. immigration policy – and not Central American violence – are fueling the surge of thousands of children illegally crossing the Mexican border.
The 10-page July 7 report was issued by the El Paso Intelligence Center (EPIC), which according to the Justice Department website is led by the DEA and incorporates Homeland Security. Its focus is on the collection and distribution of tactical intelligence, information which can immediately be acted on by law enforcement.
“Of the 230 migrants interviewed, 219 cited the primary reason for migrating to the United States was the perception of U.S. immigration laws granting free passes or permisos to UAC (unaccompanied children) and adult females OTMs (other than Mexicans) traveling with minors,” the report said.
Well, knock me over with a feather. How about that, they fed us another whopper. And here was me, searching the internet for news reports about all the revolutions, ethnic cleansings, slave labor, rape gangs, widespread starvation, apocalyptic disease outbreaks, and even climate change in Central America for weeks now, and not finding much of anything at all. And it turns out to be another story, just like that dingdong video that caused the Benghazi attacks.
“Most transparent administration ever”. Yeah, we’re telling you a bald faced lie, and we’re sticking to it no matter what actual truth you can find. And you can’t do anything about it. Not the kind of transparency we were looking for.
The intelligence assessment, which is unclassified but not meant to go beyond law enforcement, also cited data from the United Nations office on Drugs and Crime Statistics saying despite an explosion in the number of illegal minors, crime data for Central America actually showed a dip in violence.
Do I have to restate the obvious? Somebody at the very top of our government made a decision, and put the word out. The coyotes didn’t think this up on their own. Not a chance of that. It’s official government policy, regardless of whether it’s written down anywhere or officially approved by Congress. Somebody has a cellphone and a pen, and that’s that.
Misperceptions my big toe. Damn our media. Even when the “rebel” side exposes another massive lie, they still don’t have the guts to call a rose a rose, or by any other name. And it don’t smell sweet one bit.

Preparing For The Influx
I’m going to put my money where my mouth is ... or at least where my arm is. I am strongly concerned about the illegals flooding our nation, bringing in all sorts of germs and plagues with them.
If my government won’t stop them, then the least I can do is protect myself. So I’m going to get a full round of vaccinations. Some I had as a small child, so a booster shouldn’t hurt. Some I’ve never had, so I’m at risk already.
I can get it done at Walmart. Don’t even have to go to a medical clinic, but I think I will just to get good advise. No point getting a shot I have no use for.
It’s not that expensive if you don’t have insurance, and if you do it’s probably covered. Are you up to date and ready for the flood?

Ashley Losing The Frequency
I guess she’ll have her own movie soon.
Because, hey, that’s what reporting the news is all about, right?
[warning: total liberal slop ahead!] The debate over the current crisis involving unaccompanied children crossing the border has been covered with the usual conflict-driven noise, but the voices dominating the mainstream media have been hateful anti-immigrant protesters, and people trying to appease them, or pass their hatefulness off as legitimate concern over policy.
That’s why it was so refreshing to see an anchor at the home of “both sides” balance, CNN, offer up a blistering rebuke to the “send ‘em all home” crowd. At the end of a segment on the crisis, Legal View‘s Ashleigh Banfield just kind of lost it on the anti-immigrant trolls she inevitably expected to hear from after she dared to praise the notion of due process.
Really? The voices on most of the MSM have been throw-the-beaners-out haters? Really???
War refugees running for their lives? Seriously? Funny that ... I watch the news almost every day and I haven’t heard a single word about any war, any revolution, any heavy handed government stamping down on the poor and oppressed down their in Banana Land. Not one word. Oh, things are going to total crap down in Venezuela. We knew that would happen even before Sean Penn’s best butt buddy beat a life exit straight downward in a cloud of sulfur smoke. But that’s South America. Where the Brazilian cops were jackbooting all over the favela folks before World Cup. (So it’s not like news from down there doesn’t get up here). It’s just that ... well, claiming that tens of thousands of lazy parents throwing away some unwanted children with the excuse that Uncle Sugar has somehow promised them all a better life is the same level of rationalization that equates strangers making mean Tweets about you the same as being raped, and having your picture taken in public by paparazzi being the same as having to dodge sniper fire in Bosnia. Wait; I think I’m getting my lefty memes mixed up. Phah, at this point, what difference does it make?

The Other Side Of The Coin
My attempt at being Fair and Balanced.
A couple days ago the VRWC (aka the Conservative blogosphere) was all afire with some “insider” story about doctors being threatened with arrest if they talked to anyone about the medical situation with those illegal alien children being warehoused at Lackland AFB in San Antonio Texas:

Several prominent bloggers took great umbrance that the “security goons” in question not only were calling themselves “Brown Shirts” like Hitler’s goons back in the 30s, but that the security people were provided by BCFS, the Baptist Children’s and Family Services program, which had been hired by the federal government to handle the whole situation there. BCFS has a long history of public assistance, disaster relief, and emergency management. Plus, they’re located right there in San Antonio. Hundreds of others posted on the story with more general outrage. The jackbooted thugs of militarized government!!
And while the Fox News article did have some statement from BCFS’s external affairs head, the vast majority of the story was rather frantic.
So instead of jumping on the old blog bandwagon and doing my easy “Samizdat” duty, I hunted down BCFS and contacted them for a statement. Every coin has two sides, right? So here you go. Form your own opinions. I personally am not the kind of person who will leap to lump the generations old outreach program of a major Christian faith in with whatever twisted anarchist politics deliberately caused this catastrophe to happen.
For 70 years, BCFS has provided high-quality care for children, families and communities in, operating with the greatest level of transparency and integrity. Our team is comprised of professional emergency management and health care professionals, and the safety and security of those in our care are protected by off-duty commissioned law enforcement officers.
In response to misinformation reported in the news, here are the facts about the care being provided for children at Lackland Air Force Base:
§ Protection and Privacy of Children. The children at Lackland Air Force Base are under the conservatorship of the federal government and, like any child in foster care, their personal information is private. As a result, all persons involved in providing care and service to the children must agree to protect the identities and health records of the children in our care, just as any hospital or childcare operation requires. Breaching personal health information or professional standards of care or ethics is unacceptable and grounds for dismissal.
Contrary to allegations by anonymous former employees of our temporary staffing agency, none of our Lackland shelter professionals have been arrested or threatened with arrest for any activities related to shelter operations.
§ Health Screenings & Illnesses. The children cared for at Lackland are ALL medically screened and immunized based on CDC guidelines on vaccinations. If a child feels ill, he or she is taken to an on-site clinic, staffed with a pediatric ER physician as well as mid-level providers, nurses, paramedics and a pharmacy tech.
To date, 119 children have been treated for lice, 22 children have been treated for scabies, and 1 child was sent and admitted to a local children’s hospital where they were diagnosed with the H1N1 Flu. The most common illnesses seen at Lackland are fever, headache, upper respiratory colds, and ingrown toenails (another result of the children’s travels from Central America).
§ Multiple Layers of Behavioral Health Resources Consultation. A 16-person team of mental health clinicians are currently assigned to the Lackland shelter and have direct access to a psychologist for consultation 24/7. Clinicians are supervised closely by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services – Office of Refugee Resettlement Federal Field Specialist, who ultimately has decision making authority regarding all health and mental health matters.
The same is the case for medical care. Every illness, whether it is a headache or something more serious, is recorded in a child’s electronic medical record and posted on WebEOC – a real-time, web-based platform providing epidemiological tracking of all clinic visits is visible to the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services and state health authorities.
At BCFS’ request, Metro Health (the local health authority for San Antonio), Department of State of Health Services, and U.S. Public Health authorities have inspected our facility and had access to freely converse with our medical staff and children.
§ Communication. Similar to standards in crisis centers and schools, staff are not permitted to have their cell phones on the shelter premises in order to protect the safety and privacy of the children we are serving. Additionally, we want our staff’s full focus to be on the children and operational activities while they are on duty. To ensure rapid and effective workplace communication, all staff are given two-way radios and access to land lines throughout the shelter.
§ Professional Security. To protect the children and staff, security is provided by off-duty law enforcement officers. Our incident management team personnel (whose uniform includes khaki shirts and navy pants) have extensive training in the National Incident Management System and all-hazards response. These personnel serve in various roles to support the coordination of the operation and logistical requirements and primarily have first responder backgrounds, such as emergency management, fire service, and medical services. Also, all personnel at the shelter actually wear a colored shirt or vest to denote their particular role and responsibility. For example, child care personnel wear blue shirts, medical personnel wear gold vests, and custodial personnel wear gold shirts. This procedure is common practice not only for emergency response operations, but in many work environments so as to be able to readily identify a person’s role where large numbers of people are present.
Since operations at Lackland Air Force began on 18 May, numerous officials from the state and federal government, health care agencies, faith-based organizations and the news media have visited the site, including members of Congress and the Texas Legislature; the Secretaries of Homeland Security and Health and Human Services; local, state and public health authorities; medical professionals; the Texas Attorney General; military leaders; Department of Defense officials; child defense attorneys; and the Archbishop of San Antonio and other pastors. Media was also provided a full tour of the facility on 5 June, and reported on their accounts of the clean, safe operations at the Lackland shelter.

open borders and the right to migrate
OK this article is not new. It’s a month old however, it isn’t over yet.
You would be correct to in thinking it is on going. As in, has been going on for a few years now. Probably more.
The Italians are frustrated at the influx of refugees, most who are not legal, flooding their borders. I have in the past, posted the photos of the dark mass climbing the fences.
Recently there has been some good news on that front. At least 90 of the turds went glub,glub when their boat capsized in rough seas. The really bad news is, some 115 were saved. Which of course means the Italians have yet more to house, clothe and feed. I don’t suppose they have given any thought to feeding them lead.
An important thing you need to know about these folks and why the frustration and the angst. Like the many before them, they think they have a god given right to be in Italy, and any other place in Europe. Especially the UK.
We keep hearing about the wealth they bring in taxes (when they can find work), but what they mostly bring is disease, destitution and crime.
It can not be said they don’t create jobs though. Oh yeah. Civil rights lawyers are kept fairly busy on that front. So that’s one group that will do well by them.
Meanwhile over in France, they are still facing the problem of migrants (mostly Roma and others of the same kind) who are flooding the country and trying to get into the UK. And too many do. Like the Italians, the French are threatening to allow all sorts of vermin the freedom to go to other countries, so long as they leave France. The problem is acute, and the French say they need more help, especially as EU member states are more or less held to certain rules and regs regarding the free movement of EU citizens, as well as refugees from turd world countries.
It’s an unholy mess people. It truly is, and it does not look like there is any good news on this issue that is forthcoming. Well, except when some of them go swimming and sink.
Italy threatens release of refugees into EU if assistance doesn’t increase
Italy is threatening to allow refugees currently residing within its borders to make forays into the rest of the European Union unless the EU increases assistance in managing the influx of migrants arriving via boats from North Africa.
Interior Minister Angelino Alfano demanded on Tuesday that the EU step up its efforts.“The European Union has two options: either it comes to the Mediterranean to put the EU flag onMare Nostrum or we will let migrants with right of asylum leave for other countries,” Alfano wrote on Twitter.
The demand comes shortly after the Italian Navy was forced to rescue some 200 refugees and retrieve 17 bodies after a boat carrying African migrants sunk off the coast of Libya. The accident happened on Monday, some 100 miles south of the Italian island of Lampedusa. Four-hundred people were thought to be trying to attempt the crossing from Libya.
The European Commissioner for Home Affairs, Cecilia Malmstrom, did not immediately respond to Reuters’ request for a statement.
On Monday, the Libyan government also said it was struggling to cope with immigrants attempting to depart the country’s shores for Europe.
“This was the second shipwreck in a week,” Admiral Mario Culcasi, commander of the Mare Nostrum task force set up to deal with the crisis, told Reuters. “They are a symptom perhaps of the difficulties that the smugglers are facing, above all in finding seaworthy boats,” he said.
Libyan Interior Minister Salah Mazek told a news conference last weekend, before the tragedy struck, that: “I’m warning the world and Europe in particular – if they do not assume their responsibilities, Libya could facilitate the transit of this flood of immigrants towards Europe.”
More than 4,000 migrants concealed in smugglers boats made it to Italy’s shores in the past week alone. At least 34,800 people have made the crossing already this year – compared to 43,000 across the whole of 2013.
Hundreds have died in overcrowded, rickety, and unstable boats while attempting the crossing. UN refugee agency UNHCR says it is uncertain why there has been a spike in immigrant numbers this year, though some have concluded that it is a result of Egypt becoming less accommodating for Syrian refugees, as well as Morocco becoming an increasingly difficult location from which to travel to Europe.

Hey, Ya Don’t Think There’s A Connection Do Ya?
California is being hit hard with a whooping cough epidemic, according to the state’s public health department, with 800 cases reported in the past two weeks alone.
The agency says that there were 3,458 whooping cough cases reported between January 1 and June 10, well ahead of the number of cases reported for all of 2013.
This is a problem of “epidemic proportions,” the department said. And the number of actual cases may be even higher, because past studies have shown that for every case of whooping cough that is reported, there are 10 more that are not officially counted.
Whooping cough, known to doctors as pertussis, is a highly contagious respiratory infection that is caused by a bacterium known as Bordetella pertussis.
The popular name for the disease comes from the whooping sound an infected person makes when gasping for breath after a coughing fit.
The bacteria spreads through coughing and sneezing. One person can infect up to 15 people nearby, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Typically symptoms appear an average of seven to 10 days after exposure.
Infants and young children are more vulnerable to the disease than other age groups. It can be particularly dangerous for babies. About half of the infants who get whooping cough end up in a hospital. Some cases are fatal.
That’s why the public health department in California is strongly urging people to make sure their vaccinations are up to date, especially if they’re pregnant. State health officials are working closely with schools and local health departments to spread the word.

Southern Arizona may be on the verge of a whooping cough outbreak, according to doctors at the University of Arizona Medical Center.
Whooping cough, or pertussis, is a highly contagious respiratory infection that causes severe coughing fits that leave sufferers gasping, or “whooping,” for air. A higher than average number of cases in Pima County this year has raised concern about an impending outbreak.
“Pertussis outbreaks occur about every three to five years, and we’re due for one,” said Dr. Sean Elliott, medical director of infection prevention for the UA Health Network.
Hospitals in Pima County usually see about 40 to 50 cases of the disease annually, Elliott said, adding that during an outbreak, the number could surge to 10 to 100 times that amount.
Currently, Texas is experiencing a pertussis outbreak, as California did last year, he said.
“It may be that we’re on the brink of an outbreak … or that we’ll see it in the next year or so,” Elliott said, adding that early fall and winter are usually the months with the highest incidence of pertussis.
[ June 9, 2014 ] MCALLEN, TX - There’s a growing health concern with hundreds of illegal immigrants crossing over into southern Texas. U.S. Border Patrol agents are worried that what’s coming over into the U.S. could harm everyone.
This time the focus is not on the women and children that are crossing over in droves. Agents are worrying about a viral outbreak.
“We are sending people everywhere. The average person doesn’t know what’s going on down here,” said Border Patrol agent and Rio Grande Valley Union representative Chris Cabrera.
Cabrera says agents are seeing illegal immigrants come over with contagious infections. Detention centers and holding facilities have quarantined areas for those who come in sick. But Cabrera says the sick and healthy are separated only by caution tape.
“There’s been an outbreak of scabies that’s been going on for the past month,” Cabrera said.
Texas border resident Jorge Garcia says word about the contagious skin infection is getting around.
“Our Border Patrol agents check on us all the time and they told us about the outbreak of scabies,” Garcia said.
Cabrera says the sickness doesn’t stop at scabies.
“We are starting to see chicken pox, MRSA staph infections, we are starting to see different viruses,” Cabrera said.

State officials said this week that the epidemic is now the worst in the state for pertussis in 55 years, killing nine people, all infants younger than 3 months of age.Question: What role have illegal immigrants played in spreading whooping cough in California?
Answer: Ken August, a spokesman for the California Department of Public Health, said state officials do not believe there is any connection between immigration and the whooping cough outbreak.
“We absolutely do not think either legal or illegal immigration has anything to do with the California pertussis epidemic,” August said.

Federal officials were scrambling at the weekend to provide medical and other supplies to an emergency shelter in Arizona to help house a surge of illegal child immigrants into the country that President Barack Obama has called “an urgent humanitarian situation”.
More than 750 children from Central America spent the weekend in an unused warehouse in Nogales, Arizona, which the border patrol agency has turned into a temporary “way-station” for the children, a state official said.
The improvised shelter is one of the by-products of a jump in illegal immigration from Central America this year, including 47,000 children who entered the country on their own – almost double the number from the year before.
The difficulties in coping with such large numbers of unaccompanied children are stoking the already tortuous debates about reforming the country’s immigration system.
Jan Brewer, the conservative Republican governor of Arizona, described the conditions at the shelter in Nogales as “dire”. She urged people to ask the Obama administration “the reason for this massive influx of illegal crossings and the cost to taxpayers for having to deal with the crisis created by the President”.
Arizona Gov. Jan Brewer said Friday she is “disturbed and outraged” after she was informed by federal officials that not only has the government been shipping illegal immigrants out of Texas and “dumping” them in her state, it has no plans to stop.
Federal officials told Brewer Friday that the practice will continue for the foreseeable future, and this weekend more than 1,000 illegal immigrant children will be “dumped” in Arizona. Adults and family units will also arrive, though Brewer was not told how many, her office said.
Reports first surfaced last week that scores of illegal immigrants in Texas were being flown, bused and then abandoned out of state in Arizona and elsewhere. After learning of the practice, Brewer sent a scathing letter to the president on Monday posing a string of questions about the policy. Brewer said Friday what little she has learned since then has made her even more concerned.
“This is a crisis of the federal government’s creation, and the fact that the border remains unsecure – now apparently intentionally - while this operation continues full-steam ahead is deplorable,” she said in a statement.
Brewer said the federal government never formally informed her administration of the practice and has never explained it.
The U.S. Department of Homeland Security started flying immigrants in the country illegally to Arizona from the Rio Grande Valley in Texas last month after http://cnsnews.com/news/article/arizona-sends-supplies-warehouse-holding-700-foreign-unaccompanied-children">the number of immigrants — including more than 48,000 children traveling on their own — overwhelmed the Border Patrol there.
Immigrant families were flown from Texas, released in Arizona, and told to report to an Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) office near where they were traveling within 15 days. ICE has said the immigrants were mostly families from Central America fleeing extreme poverty and violence.
The Homeland Security official, who spoke on condition of anonymity because there was no authorization to discuss the matter publicly, said the holding center opened for unaccompanied migrant children because the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services had nowhere to turn.
“They became so overwhelmed and haven’t kept up with planning,” the official said.
At the holding center, vendors are being contracted to provide nutritional meals, according to U.S. Customs and Border Protection officials. The Federal Emergency Management Agency, meanwhile, will provide counseling services and recreational activities.
The Homeland Security official said the number of children at the warehouse was expected to double to around 1,400. The warehouse has a capacity of about 1,500.
The Arizona Daily Star reported Saturday (http://bit.ly/UlC3VD ) that Jimena Díaz, consul general of Guatemala in Phoenix, visited the center Friday and said there were about 250 children from Guatemala, with the rest coming from El Salvador and Honduras.
McALLEN - Central Americans say news reports in their countries are encouraging them to make the journey north to the United States.
A mother and child told CHANNEL 5 NEWS that the message being disseminated in their country is, “go to America with your child, you won’t be turned away.”
The woman, Nora Griselda Bercian Diaz, from Guatemala, said she endured threats from the Zetas and extortion from corrupt Mexican police. She eventually crossed the Rio Grande with her 6-year-old Delmi Griselda Paul Bercian by her side.
The woman said she wants a U.S. education for her daughter. “I want to study,” said the girl who hopes to one day become a doctor.

Bercian Diaz said they endured harassment in Tampico. She said members of the Zetas drug cartel tried to kidnap them.“They chased us to kidnap us to request for ransom,” Bercian Diaz said.
She said they barely escaped.
Bercian Diaz said they found corruption in the Mexican government.
“They were asking for 500 pesos, 600 pesos. The federals took that money from us,” she said.
She said the Mexican federal police and immigration officers asked for money to “turn the other way.”
“The immigration officers took 1,500 pesos,” Bercian Diaz said.
So, typical behavior from the scumdog bendejos south of the border, but who is disseminating this message down there?
Illegal women, kids swarm US via Mexico after home countries report Obama ‘amnesty,’ free legal aid
Driven by an agricultural disaster and lured by news reports in their home countries that a feckless Obama administration has essentially declared amnesty for illegal aliens, thousands of women and children are flooding holding centers in Texas and Arizona.

The immigrants are mainly coming from Central America, which makes it more difficult to deport them than just sending them back to Mexico.According to the Arizona Star, one reason behind the sudden surge is a coffee fungus ["rust’] that has destroyed coffee crops and wiped out plantation jobs in Central America.
However, Wilder said the true depth of the crisis is a creation of the Obama administration.
Hundreds of unaccompanied minors who entered the United States illegally through Texas are being shipped to Nogales, Arizona, creating a problem there so serious the federal government is sending relief supplies and asking the state for vaccines, an aide to Gov. Jan Brewer said Friday.
Andrew Wilder, the governor’s communications chief, said federal officials told Brewer’s office they were moving 432 children into Arizona late Friday, with another 367 expected today and an identical number Sunday. And that is apparently just the beginning.
“More unaccompanied minors will continue to Arizona,” Wilder said.

There also are reports of increased violence in Honduras that has led to more illegal immigrants from that country.This shift in the migrants’ countries of origin has put a crimp in ICE operations, which normally involve simply shipping illegal immigrants, most of whom have come from Mexico, back to the border.
In essence, the illegal immigrants are being released on their own, with orders to report to an ICE office within 15 days of arriving at their final location.
But Wilder said the problem is the lack of border enforcement by the Obama administration.
And he said it will only get worse as new immigrants figure out they are not immediately being shipped home.
“As word continues to grow throughout other countries that America’s borders are open, if you get to our border you will be welcomed, we expect the influx that is already a crisis level ... will continue,” Wilder said. And he said the Obama administration has made no real effort to secure the border.
“If this administration would put half the effort into securing the border that it has put into this operation of transporting illegal aliens to Arizona, and other states possibly, then this crisis wouldn’t exist.”
And to make matters worse, the administration announced on Thursday that it will renew its non-deportation program for young adult illegal immigrants.
“Despite the acrimony and partisanship that now exists in Washington, almost all of us agree that a child who crossed our border illegally with a parent, or in search of a parent or a better life, was not making an adult choice to break our laws, and should be treated differently than adult law-breakers,” Homeland Security Secretary Jeh Johnson said.
So now you know. Open borders. An invasion of illegals; armies of minors. Soon to drag all their relatives along behind them. Never to be deported, and forever to be supported. Because Obama said so. Plain and simple.

The court was told he couldn’t be sentenced to community service because he had a poor command of English and therefore wasn’t able to read the health and safety instructions.
You couldn’t make it up.

This is a direct consequence of Labour’s ludicrous 2010 Equality Act, which carves up the population into more categories than existed in apartheid South Africa. Since the zealous architect of this legislation was Harriet Harman, I’m astonished there’s not a box for paedophiles to tick.
You won’t get a job in the public sector unless you agree to lay bare the most intimate details of your private life.
This madness is even infecting the security services, which are forced to comply with all the latest ‘diversity’ diktats. MI6 has just published a recruitment advert, drawn up in conjunction with the gay rights pressure group Stonewall.
I don’t know why this was necessary, since a quick look down the list of traitors and defectors over the years would convince you that it was virtually compulsory to be homosexual before you could become a spy.
It’s not just race and sexuality, either. The second question in the selection process asks if you are prepared to protect your country ‘by any means possible’.
Answer ‘yes’ and the interview will come to an abrupt halt. That’s not what they want to hear. I’d have thought a willingness to protect your country by any means possible was part of the job description.
I wonder if the range of sexual predilections on the application form extends to ‘claustrophiliacs’, which is the official term for people who get their jollies from being held in confined spaces.
You may recall that this was one explanation put forward at the inquest into the death of an MI6 agent who was discovered zipped up in a sports bag a couple of years ago.
Although this particular perversion came as something of a revelation to most of us, there was probably a Claustrophiliacs Liberation Front affiliated to the NCCL back in the Seventies.
Still, I’d love to be a fly on the wall at the next round of MI6 recruitment interviews. It could go something like this:
Do come in. You can leave your bag over there. Name?

Bond will suffice. Your gender doesn’t matter to MI6. Unless, of course, you’re a transsexual. You’re not, are you?
