EYE CANDY
It’s very late here and I thought a good way to leave would be to leave you with some eye candy.
Must thank Drew for Barbara-Stoyanoff, who I’d never heard of before he sent me her name. Along with a few others for future use.
Now we know what he does in spare time. Darn hard work looking at these ya know. It isn’t for everyone.
Enjoy.
BARBARA STOYANOFF
Now here’s my favorite. Love this look. I think I may have posted this one before, but not certain. Or maybe one just like it?
But heck, she’s worth a second look anytime.

multiculti beauty

Alicia “Shay Maria” Kozlowski is almost 20, one part German, one part Chilean, and at least four parts smokin’ hot. She models for several clothing catalogs and dances in a few music videos. A little acting on TV as well. Seems to be popular with the skateboard and stoner crowd. Gee, I wonder why?
[ I had to put this post up just in case any of Roger’s readers stopped by. I’m tellin’ ya, get your hands on this TinEye add-on and learn how to use it. It kicks ass! ]

EYE CANDY
I think there might be a zillion photos of this lady on the net. I LOVE her look.
It has taken me YEARS(!) to find who she is, and then only by accident.
When we first came here some years ago, her photo posters where in countless store windows. She modeled underwear and swimsuits and those life size posters were eye catching. I thought she might be the most gorgeous female in the world. I didn’t know who she was and never saw her name. I later found she was contracted as a Marks and Sparks (Marks and Spencer) model. They are a major dept. store chain. But heck, I couldn’t walk into a store asking who that girl was. Could I? No way. I’d prolly be seen as some kind of crazy American, and most likely a randy old man as well.
After awhile she seemed to disappear from view and while I missed seeing her, I hadn’t a clue how to look for her when I started posting eye candy pix.
But last week .... I saw a photo of what I thought was an unnaturally thin woman. Almost emaciated I thought, but the face was vaguely familiar. Hard to place cos of the look but when I saw the name I Googled it and darn if it wasn’t her. Bingo. After all that time. But worth it far as I’m concerned.
NOEMIE LENOIR

ehhhhh, that isn’t all folks.
You see, once the lady I love above left M & S (Marks and Spencer)
The store had to have a new face .... so .... they have just chosen this lady who is a looker also. But truth to tell, I think I have a crush on Noemie. How the heck is that pronounced?
Anyway ... Here’s

Quick Posts, Part 1: Our Side Just Got Better Looking
The supermodel-turned-singer’s reputation as a “luvvie Lefty” has been cited as a major handicap to Mr Sarkozy’s re-election, and her political change of heart is an attempt to boost support for her unpopular husband among his core Right-wing electorate.
![]()
Only two years ago Mrs Bruni-Sarkozy had claimed that she was “instinctively left-wing” after at one stage supporting her husband’s Socialist rival in the 2007 presidential elections. She had also publicly opposed Mr Sarkozy’s plan to conduct DNA tests on immigrants.
In 2008, she told the Libération newspaper: “Nobody has to be joined at the hip in politics or with one’s husband”. A year earlier she told a British newspaper: “I would never vote on the Right.”
But in Monday’s interview with Le Parisien newspaper, she said her previous political persuasion was only due to her belonging to a “community of artists.” “We were bobo (bourgeois bohemians), we were left-wing but at that time I voted in Italy (her native country).” I have never voted for the Left in France and I can tell you, I’m not about to start now. I don’t really feel left-wing anymore,” she said.
[Drew assigns Peiper a terrible and odious task] JD, do you think you could find a nice elegant pic of Mrs. B-S to go along with this post? I know they’re hard to find and there are so few to choose from. Thanks!
You’re more then welcome but this is a darn hard job I’ll tell ya. Looking at photos of pretty Italian women, jeesh. At my age too.
OK, time to nap now.

fleeting youth

Were we ever so young and seemingly innocent, yet on the cusp of confident maturity? Hard to believe. Maybe it’s just the bangs. From a Met-Art photo of course. I wonder if being one of their photographers is the best job in the world, or the most frustrating.

more berlusconi EYE CANDY … is there no end? Hope Not.
OK, I promised BMEWS I’d keep an eye out for new BerlBabes and this was in today’s paper.
The young lady is one of a number who say there were never any orgies as reported and in fact, Italy’s PM, Mister Berlusconi, was in fact a father figure.
cue the laughter ...
But hey, could be ya know. No guy (except Tiger Woods and the old Warren Beatty) could possibly handle this many women. But as long as they (the babes) keep showing up, I can’t resist posting. So here.
Take a look. Her name is:
AIDA YESPICA

EYE CANDY
At the rate the press keeps coming up with new Berlusconi Babes, I’m beginning to think it more resembles Bartholomew and his 500 hats.
Hey ... rank and MONEY have some privileges. The longer this goes on the funnier it gets. I really think (just based on what’s available here that I read) that there just may be a few ladies who are getting on a bandwagon and never even met the guy. Reason I think that, there are a few that are really bow-wows and I can’t imagine a man in his position and with his fortune, that could not do better if he wanted to.
Anyway, a couple of the ladies do fall into EYE CANDY.
Here’s the very latest till the next one shows up.
btw ... some of the girls deny there were any parties of any kind. none of my business. I just enjoy the better looking ones. like who cares? ok, a few opposition politicians and his ex, who has no room to cast any stones herself.
A glamorous TV weather girl was paid more than £100,000 by Silvio Berlusconi after attending his infamous sex parties, it is claimed.
Prosecutors have discovered bank records which show that he gave Alessandra Sorcinelli money last Monday – three days after the latest sex scandal surrounding him broke. But despite the constant flow of lurid stories surrounding the Italian Prime Minister, polls show he is more popular than ever among voters.
Alessandra Sorcinelli
Have no idea who this is but liked her looks.

some eye candy and observations and a clickable wabbit below the fold
Every once in a while I find a photo or two of Ann Margaret and can’t resist putting them up here. Always loved this luscious looking woman. And she even has talent although she didn’t have to. I’d love her anyway. It’s just personal but, nobody in Hollywood from the very beginning was ever better looking or sexier or more beautiful then ....
ANN MARGARET
Now that isn’t to say there are no other beautiful women in the world. And really sexy ones too. And here’s an example. I posted a few photos of this one a year ago but since then I found this black and white that just grabbed me. I like the photo and the girl. What’s not to like? So here again is ....
BROOKLYN DECKER
and I do really like this girl, whoever the heck she is. Yeah I know she’s a model. Or is she an actress? Before last year I’d never heard of her and now I’m in love again. Well, you know. Not exactly literally.
Another photo I hadn’t seen before even though I’ve posted her photos a year ago as well. In her day, she was the very standard of sexy and desirable and beautiful. I still think she’s pretty in her way and day. Even sexy after all this time. There has always been something kind of special about ...

crickey!
Pity the poor land down under. Australia and Tasmania have been inundated by heavy rains for weeks now. Flooding across huge parts of the nation, especially in Queensland. And the rains aren’t over yet.
In several places the flood waters have been 25 - 30 feet deep. It’s going to cost them billions to clean up when this is all over. Still, no worries. The Aussies will pitch in and get the job done. No whinging.
But here’s a wild little bit of flood news that sounds like one of their famous tall tales ...
Two bull sharks have been spotted swimming past the McDonald’s restaurant in Goodna. Goodna butcher Steve Bateman saw one of the sharks swimming through the flooded waters of Williams Street near his bucher’s shop in the St Ives shopping centre yesterday. There were several reports of another shark spotted in Queen Street, the main street through Goodna.
Bull sharks have been spotted in the Goodna sections of the
BremerBRISBANE River previously, with fishermen regularly catching them from the Goodna boat ramp.Ipswich councillor for the Goodna region Paul Tully said while it may sound almost too bizarre to be real, the shark sighting was valid.
“It would have swam several kilometres in from the river, across Evan Marginson Park and the motorway,” Cr Tully said.
“It’s definitely a first for Goodna, to have a shark in the main street.
Goodna was awash with water eight metres deep during the past 48 hours. The water receded dramatically overnight.
Goodna is about 20 miles southwest of Brisbane, though about 40 miles up the meandering river from that city. Brisbane is on the east coast of Australia, right above the middle of the eastward bulge of the continent.
BRISBANE, Australia, Jan 13 (Reuters) - Floods left parts of Australia’s third-biggest city on Thursday looking like a war zone in need of years of reconstruction, the state premier said, while fresh threats loomed with a cyclone forecast offshore.
The floods across the state of Queensland have killed at least 19 people, 12 of whom died in the Toowoomba area inland, and 61 were missing, the state government said.
Toowoomba and the Lockyer Valley region, west of state capital Brisbane, were devastated by tsunami-like flash flooding on Monday.
Large parts of Brisbane have become muddy lakes, with an entire waterfront cafe among the debris washing down the Brisbane River, a torrent that has flooded 12,000 homes in the city of 2 million and left 118,000 buildings without power.
Aerial views of Brisbane showed a sea of brown water with rooftops poking through the surface.
“What I’m seeing looks more like a war zone in some places,” Queensland Premier Anna Bligh told reporters after surveying the disaster from the air. “All I could see was their rooftops ... underneath every single one of those rooftops is a horror story.”
Floodwaters in 35 suburbs, which on Thursday peaked below disastrous levels predicted a day earlier, forced residents to take to boats to move about the streets, where traffic signs peeped above the water.
Rescue teams and victims of the flooding have already had to deal with crocodiles and snakes, with Australia’s northeast [Queensland]-- which has been battered by weeks of flooding—home to some of the world’s most dangerous species.
A series of recent ultra-high resolution photographs, in scalable map format, are available here.
And, just because, here’s a picture of Charisma Carpenter from a few years ago. And one of Karina Lombard, who still brings that exotic ferocity, even though she’s positively “ancient” (41) by Hollywood standards. I think she’s just getting warmed up.

Not that very many people ever read this far down, but this blog was the creation of Allan Kelly and his friend Vilmar. Vilmar moved on to his own blog some time ago, and Allan ran this place alone until his sudden and unexpected death partway through 2006. We all miss him. A lot. Even though he is gone this site will always still be more than a little bit his. We who are left to carry on the BMEWS tradition owe him a great debt of gratitude, and we hope to be able to pay that back by following his last advice to us all:

Oh, and here's some kind of visitor flag counter thingy. Hey, all the cool blogs have one, so I should too. The Visitors Online thingy up at the top doesn't count anything, but it looks neat. It had better, since I paid actual money for it.
