mustn’t tell the truth, the whole truth, or you’ll be branded with the ‘r’ word

Dare to tell the fuckin truth and make it plain and out in the open and the left descends in their usual pious way.  Even they know truth, they just won’t face it and belong to a club of bed wetting hand wringers.

This caught my eye first thing this morning, it isn’t even 8:30am but I need to get this posted.

Starkey is not only right, he had the platform to say out loud and very publicly, what we all already know.  So naturally the left wingers and professional victims on behalf of other ppl now condemn him.

So here ….  take a look at what he had to say.  First of all, what’s racist about it.
Second …. and even if it was, so fucking what?  Libtards never look at what’s actually written or said. They see and hear nothing and understand nothing beyond the opportunity to hurl the dreaded ‘R’ word at anyone who says what millions already know.  I guess that’s why they’re referred to as lib-tards.

‘White chavs have become black’: David Starkey TV outburst provokes race row as he claims Enoch Powell was right
By CHRIS HASTINGS
The Sunday Mail

Historian David Starkey remained defiant last night after provoking a race storm by claiming the recent riots happened because too many young white people had ‘now become black’.

The broadcaster was branded a racist yesterday after an appearance on Friday night’s Newsnight programme, when he blamed the riots on a ‘violent, destructive and nihilistic’ gang culture, which he said was being embraced by many white and black people.
He stunned his fellow guests on the BBC2 show, writer Owen Jones and black author and broadcaster Dreda Say Mitchell, by placing the blame for the riots squarely with a form of black male culture that he said ‘mitigated against education’.

He said: ‘A substantial section of the chavs have become black. The whites have become black. A particular sort of violent, destructive, nihilistic gangster culture has become the fashion.
‘Black and white, boy and girl operate in this language together. This language which is wholly false, which is a Jamaican patois, that’s been intruded in England and this is why so many of us have this sense of literally a foreign country.’
Fellow broadcasters, politicians and members of the public criticised his remarks on Twitter and other social networking sites yesterday, and some even predicted that his television career was now ruined.
Piers Morgan, the chat-show host and Mail on Sunday columnist, tweeted: ‘RIP David Starkey’s TV career. And good riddance. Racist idiot.’ Owen Jones, who challenged Dr Starkey during the Newsnight discussion, said: ‘David Starkey has had a career-ending moment, but in the current climate, his comments are very dangerous.’

Oh right. That great intellect with the doughy face, Piers Morgan. He’s a self important ego bloated libtard gas bag.

Here’s a video of Dr. Starkey’s comment, and the exchange after it.  Not only is the good doctor absolutely right, what he says has been true for many years.

threats to the west and the usual starving somalia

I guess this is about as bad as it can get short of some kind of nuke devise those miserable shits would prefer. Scary stuff and I believe those folks will try something like this.
What I don’t understand is this.

If we could nuke two Japanese cities knowing there’d be collateral damage, in order to end a war and save a million lives.  Why can’t we nuke areas our intel knows those lice ridden filthy sub human scum are in? Whoosh, bang and who’s next?  I guess not.  There’s all that human rights stuff and the left would be angry cos heaven knows saving western civilization isn’t one of the things at the top of their hit parade.

Well, way I see it, either we manage to shake off this silly thinking about agreements and conventions on how a country goes about defending itself, or just give up now and let the enemy pick us off piece meal.  Cos they will ya know.  Why shouldn’t we blow em off the planet before they develop or manage to buy the stuff that’ll do it to us first?  Are we waiting for another Pearl Harbor?  Cos another one of those with the technology available today, could be far more catastrophic then we can imagine right now.

What the hell, it’s late and I know I’m ranting while whistling Dixie and pissin into the wind.  Thing is, I really believe what I say.  I can’t see (yet) where I’m wrong.  The enemy the west faces today is far different then anything we’ve experienced in a hundred years and more.  And we aren’t facing an enemy we can talk to. Heaven help us all.

Al Qaeda operatives in Yemen ‘planning deadly ricin attack’ on US, Obama warned

By Daily Mail Reporter

Intelligence officials have warned Barack Obama that a dangerous regional arm of Al Qaeda is trying to produce the deadly poison ricin to use in attacks against the United States.

Al Qaeda’s affiliate in Yemen is believed to have been trying to acquire large quantities of castor beans, which contain the toxic rich protein.

It is thought the poison would be packed around small explosives which could disperse the white powdery substance on detonation.

It is so deadly that even a speck of it can kill someone if inhaled or taken into the blood stream.

The poison was used in the 1978 assassination in London of Bulgarian dissident Georgi Markov and, in 2002, police raided a facility said to be plotting its manufacture in the UK capital.

Al Qaeda intend on detonating the explosives in enclosed areas like shopping centres and airports.

But there are limits on ricin because it loses its potency in dry, sunny conditions, like those in Yemen, and is not easily absorbed through the skin like other nerve agents.

America has been bracing itself for a backlash from terrorists after Osama Bin Laden was killed earlier this year.

Mr Obama was briefed by top security aides about the latest threat last year but was told by that an attack is not imminent.

Senior administration officials said ricin was among the threats being tracked by a secret government task force created after printer cartridges packed with powerful explosives were found in cargo bound for Chicago in October 2010, according to the New York Times.

It said the task force was working with Saudi officials and with the remnants of Yemen’s intelligence agencies to counter the threat.

It said regional Al Qaeda affiliates, especially in the Arabian Peninsula, were seen as a menace to the United States and U.S. interests abroad.

The virtual collapse of Yemen’s government has enabled Al Qaeda to widen its control in the country and strengthen its operational ties with al Shabab, the Islamic militancy in Somalia.

The US government is working with what is left of Yemen’s intelligence agencies and those of neighbouring Saudi Arabia to try to root our terror plots early.

Meanwhile, speaking of Somalia and pirate central ....
Another appeal from another guilty white media type who wants to tug at our heartstrings.  Yawn.
Let em eat cake. Make that mud, cos I don’t care.  I just see any that survive as a future verminous species that will forever and ever be a burden.

Liz Jones in a Somalian refugee camp: ‘The tiny girl scrapes her teeth with a twig to make herself pretty for me. A tooth falls out into her hand. Her very being makes a mockery of the world I have come from’

By Liz Jones

I have come to Dadaab to see for myself the vast refugee camp on the border between Kenya and Somalia which has become the magnet for victims fleeing the drought and famine in the Horn of Africa. Millions are facing starvation, and more than 29,000 children under five have died in the past 90 days alone.

It’s early morning, but already 40 degrees and the wind makes it feel as though I’m inside a giant hairdryer. I am surrounded by children — there are 300,000 of them here, none of whom has even the basic means to wash themselves or owns a pair of underpants. These children, when they have the strength, use twigs to clean their teeth.

HERE FOR HEART STRING PULLING CONTEST

Liz is so soft hearted, she was feeding rats in her barn organic food and didn’t want to do harm to them.  And guilt comes somewhat easy to her. So good. I’ll let her take my guilt if there is any and have a nice snack. Maybe I’ll send her an empty candy wrapper. burp.

England sick’, says woman forced to leap from burning building

I’ve lost count of the number of times this photo has been shown.  It’s one hell of an image and I can imagine (I think) what she must have felt.

imageimage

She’s from Poland, says England is sick, but wants to stay here.  ???

Well, most folks think it has become sick but my bet is that after all the shouting is done and the politicians have made their tough on crime speeches, things will settle down to the same old same old. Why? Cos the left in this country just won’t allow the death penalty to return and they have friends even among some conservatives.  I guess we’ll just have to see how things play out over time.  So stay tuned on this one. We’ll see who the liars and fraudsters are about the time of the next, ‘demonstration.’

And obtw ... just to show ya how brilliant we all of us are here at BMEWS, haven’t we all said long ago that lenient sentencing for thugs only encouraged more of the rats to continue their criminal behavior.  How many times have we discussed crime and punishment and been outraged by the sort of soft punishment, if it can be called that, for horrific crimes of violence.

So then ... on that subject that we all knew, but nobody among the powers that leech gave any thought to consulting any of us. Who had answers to these vexing problems at least 30 years ago, what do you suppose the Prime Minister does.
He goes to America for a “Crime Advisor.” The very country that led the world and made the words Scotland Yard the European equivalent to the Canadian Mounties, who always got their man; England now looks to America for advice on fighting gang violence. And guess what advice he has so far, from the former NYPD and LAPD, which by the way this country will pay for when BMEWS could happily given free?  Well take a look.

UK riots: young thugs ‘should fear the police’, says David Cameron’s new crime adviser

Young thugs and gang members should be made to “fear” the police and the prospect of serious punishment for acts such as looting, says David Cameron’s new crime adviser.

In an interview with the Telegraph, Bill Bratten said many gang members have been “emboldened” by over cautious policing and “lenient sentencing policies.”

All of England knew that ASBOs were a total failure and seen as a joke and something to aspire to, by the street gangster yobs. And so now the country has seen some serious rioting and NOT all by the poor and disadvantaged.  But you should read and hear, as I do, the excuses made for the criminal behavior this past week. And worse yet, the punks are being interviewed and parroting the excuses being made for them by many on the left.  Perhaps excuses is a strong word but what I hear are ppl trying to explain away the riot while at the same time trying not to condone the barbarity.

‘I thought England was civilised - but it’s sick’, says woman forced to leap from burning flat during riots

By Anna Edwards

Mother Monika Konczyk came to live in the UK for a fresh start and to carve out a better life for herself.

The hard-working Pole had moved to England just a few months ago to join her sister, believing the country to be full of ‘gentle and kind’ people who lived in a civilised society.

But after a pack of yobs set her street on fire and Miss Konczyk had to leap from her first-floor flat to escape the flames ripping through her flat, the the 32-year-old shop assistant has branded England ‘sick’.

Miss Konczyk rents a flat that backs onto the House of Reeves shop and on Monday night had watched the riots on her television and was getting ready to go to bed.

But rioters gleefully set the family furniture shop alight and, fearing that her home was about to be engulfed in the inferno, the mother-of-one quickly packed a bag and tried to flee through the only door.

‘I found myself jumping for my life after being attacked by thugs and thieves. They set fire to my building without any thought for anyone’s safety.

‘They were happy for me to die. They were like animals - greedy, selfish animals who thought only of themselves.’

The image of her jumping from her first floor flat as flames tore through the building has become an iconic image of the riots.

News of the Weird

Did you know that popping your pimples in public (I love that alliteration!) is against the law?

Owen Lemire Kato, 23, was being removed as a trespasser from the restaurant at 2404 Santa Barbara Blvd. South after standing near the north entrance for more than 10 minutes and attracting the ire of customers, who had complained someone was popping pimples on his back, according to a police report.

Now, I’ll say that popping pimples in public (I still love the alliteration) is definitely in poor taste. But a crime you can be arrested for? I’d really love to see what he’s actually charged with. He wasn’t creating a health hazard–he was outside of the restaurant. BTW, somewhere else I read that the bus stop is in front of that McDonald’s. So he was waiting for the bus.

On a further note, I’ve misspent some time imagining I’ve a pimple on my back. How do you pop a pimple if you can’t see it? Mostly, I couldn’t actually reach large portions of my back.

Who writes this crap?

First, the good news;

After eight days on the lam, the Dougherty Gang are trapped on the side of the road, their car nearly flipped on a speed break, with flashing police car lights all around. In a futile attempt to escape, Grace Dougherty runs through a dusty Colorado field, a Walsenberg police officer on her heels. She turns to shoot, but the cop’s bullet hits her leg first. The mayhem ends.

Well and good. I’m glad the officer shot the bitch. She posted on her Flickr profile:

I’m 28 but act like I’m 17 most of the time. I love to farm and shoot guys…

Truly the girlfriend from Hell.

What got me PO’d about the article was this:

Five hours later two masked men and a woman matching their description burst into a bank in Valdosta, Ga. brandishing automatic weapons.

Automatic weapons? I highly doubt it. Note that the writer doesn’t identify what kind of weapons were brandished. Semi-auto pistols? Semi-auto rifles? But full-fledged machine guns? Not likely.

Police furious at sentences handed out to young rioters despite Cameron’s vow they will pay the price
By DAILY MAIL REPORTER

Police are disappointed with sentences being handed out to the rioters that have brought chaos to England’s streets, senior chiefs have revealed.
David Cameron has insisted that anyone involved in the violent unrest of recent days will feel the full force of the law, regardless of their age.

But Deputy Assistant Commissioner Stephen Kavanagh has admitted some his officers in London are unhappy with the punishments they have been given.
Child looters are being freed and allowed to return home to their families - and because of their age the law dictates their identities have to be protected.

Their confidence that they would escape with a slap on the wrist despite flaunting their contempt for the law appears to have been borne out.
The vast majority of young children appearing before the courts have been released under referral orders, which oblige them only to meet support workers or observe curfews.

Among them was a 12-year-old boy who admitted stealing a bottle of wine and an 11-year-old girl rioter.
The hands of magistrates are largely tied when dealing with the youngest children, meaning prison is an absolute last resort.

Mr Kavanagh said: ‘Some of us have been disappointed by some of the early sentences we have seen, especially those officers who have been on the front line facing the violence and disorder.’

The top policeman revealed he and Acting Met Chief Tim Godwin had already raised their concerns about sentencing to ministers.
‘The Commissioner and Home Secretary have had positive discussions and totally agree about the need for sentences to reflect the crimes and the hugely devastating impact on the people of London,he said.

If you go here, POLICE UNHAPPY you’ll notice photos of two of the little shits. Interesting but not too surprising.  The 11 year old girl (who appears lots older) refused to even say sorry in court.  The rat ass boy in red was the model of repentance in court, but showed what he was outside when he told a reporter to fuck off.  He also has a record so this isn’t the first time the little bastard has been in trouble.

Drew was right when he suggested flame throwers in one of the comments he made.
I said that long ago and really think they should be used.  There’d never be another riot. At least not by the same crowd.
One of the scum out having fun was the daughter of a millionaire. Another was a teaching assistant.

This whole thing is disgusting.

Wisdom from your elders

Honest. I was talking to my uncle on Facebook…

Uncle Pat: OMG, tonight in the 50’s, I’m gonna need a blanket…

Christopher: Uncle Pat, what you need is a woman… and maybe a blanket.

Uncle Pat: Chris, blankets are easy to spread and you can always get a new one

A few days off

Not going to be much posting from me for the next couple of days. I’ve got a window job on a good sized house, and then I have a pair of doors to install. And my usual Sunday work of course. Good thing I spent half of today in the kitchen cooking. Chicken curry, meat sauce, several nice quiches. I’m set.

So here you go ... something to keep you occupied ... majorly clicky clicky but still SFW ...

Zombie Bowling

Link sent in by Vilmar - How to get ahead in bowling. Oh, wait, sorry, that was a head. These would be perfect for a Halloween bowling party. Or for totally freaking out your opponents. Truly sick!

image

Yes, it’s a bowling ball. It just looks like the head of a zombie! Artist Oliver Paass painted a set of these balls that were then placed in German bowling alleys to advertise a TV channel specializing in horror films.

image

Yeah, we played these guys last week. We really killed them.

link, with short video. Best comment for these zombie balls: “Laaaaanes! Laaaaanes!”

In bowling, intimidation is half the game. I wonder if you can get these made to order? Sneak photos of the folks on the other teams and get them made up. Seriously frightening. If they were made on slightly under-size balls, then given a clear plastic coat to bring it up to proper diameter, like the famous Viz-A-Balls, they’d even be legal. Gross, but legal.

Who’s picking your berries?

I have to fault Drudge for the headline:
6 YEAR OLDS CAUGHT WORKING ON FARMS

Imagine the horror! Six-year-olds actually being taught to work for money. Cesar Chavez is upset. Well, he’s dead, but his union is upset that six-year-olds would actually work on the family farm during the summer. Therefore taking jobs away from his unionized illegal alien union. Typical union crap. Typical ‘Drive-by Media’ story. They never support family, family farms, etc.

I wasn’t six, I was twelve the first time I had an opportunity to work on a farm. It was a summer job, I was supposed to ‘detassel’ corn. But to get the job, I had to have a Social Security Number. Mom said if I wanted the job, I got to call and apply for one.

Yes, I was twelve before I even had an SSN number. I’ve often wondered how my life would be different if I’d never made that call. Nowadays they assign you one at birth.

Anyway, I’ve no problem with six-year-olds picking berries. They are currently out of school, and they are closer to the ground. Educate them that work is good, unlike some rioters in Britain.

The Real Catchword

Some presidencies are indelibly associated with certain words or phrases. We all figured that the Obama one (and it had better be just one!) would be hooked up with Hope an Change. And while it looked that way on the campaign trail, the real catchword is “unexpected”. That shows you how cynical a people we have become, and it shows you just how in the tank the media is for this buffoon. Every last bit of bad news that bubbles up because yet another of his plans isn’t working is “unexpected”, even when it continues to happen month after month after month. Funny how some folks can’t spot a trend even when it slaps them in the face with a cold mackerel. Yet these are the same people who decided, “scientifically”, that a few years of hot summers and mild winters was indicative of a half-an-eon trend in climate change.  Gosh. Cynical me, I don’t find these levels of stupid to be unexpected at all. Here’s today’s unexpected news.

U.S. Trade Gap Unexpectedly Widens in June

The U.S. trade gap widened in June to its largest since October 2008, as both U.S. imports and exports declined in a sign of slowing global demand, a government report showed on Thursday.

The June trade deficit leapt to $53.1 billion, surprising analysts who expected it to narrow to $48 billion from an upwardly revised estimate of $50.8 billion in May.

This means that “analysts” - so-called professionals paid to do this stuff - jimmied their numbers back in May to cover their butts, but held onto Hope and expected that they had raised those numbers too much. But when reality arrived they were off by 11% compared to their calculations. They sort of saw it coming, but their ability to read the tea leaves isn’t so good at all.

Overall U.S. imports fell by close to 1 percent, despite a rise in the value of crude oil imports to the highest since August 2008. Higher volume pushed the oil import bill higher, as the average price for imported oil fell to $106 per barrel after rising in each of the eight prior months.

Yes, I remember August 2008. That’s when the media wanted to draw and quarter President Bush every hour of every day over the high price of gasoline. Which was, at it’s peak, only about 25¢ more per gallon than gas has been selling for (without any media comment AT ALL), for months now. Hmmm, I’m feeling unexpected cynicism over that one. Now oil prices are falling a bit, as they do every late summer. I hope the Big O waited until now to refill those petroleum reserve tanks he emptied out a few months ago, which dropped prices a few cents for about a week. But the real news in the above quote is that our imports are shrinking, albeit very slowly. This means that our economy is NOT growing; it is getting smaller. Either that, or we’ve got a sudden case of nationalism, and have all decided to Buy American. Perish the thought!

Industrial supplies and materials led the overall import decline, despite the higher value of crude oil imports. June imports of foods, feeds and beverages increased slightly to $9.2 billion, a new record. Imports from China also rose nearly 5 percent to $34.4 billion, pushing the closely-watched trade gap with that country to $26.7 billion, the highest in 10 months. U.S. exports fell for a second consecutive month to $170.9 billion, as shipments to Canada, Mexico, Brazil, Central America, France, China and Japan all declined. However, exports to the entire 27-member European Union rose fractionally higher to $22.7 billion, despite the debt crisis troubling the continent.

Less industrial materials means that our Made Here economy is going to get even worse. A bit more food doesn’t mean much of anything, as the population is always growing. More crap from China bodes poorly. Exports to the NAFTA CAFTA nations bombing really shows the quality of vision that is letting all those Pedros on our highways with their broke down rigs; anyone who really believes that the coming highway free for all is going to aid our economy has been smoking rope.  A tad bit more stuff sent to the EU is meaningless, but I hope we got paid for it before they all go bankrupt.

President Barack Obama has set a goal of doubling U.S. exports by end of 2014 to help pull the U.S. economy out of its slump and generate new jobs.

LOL LOL LOL Mwaahahahaahahaa!!! LOL LOL LOL Oh stop it, you’re killing me!!! The only way he can do that is to get our economy moving strongly forward, and as the lead sentence in this article shows, his leadership hasn’t helped things one damn little bit for the whole 2 1/2 years he’s been in power. We’re in just as bad shape as we were the month before he was elected. I guess that utterly non-existent level of Change is entirely unexpected.

image

How bad is the economy? It’s so bad that we no longer even notice that the jobs are still eroding and the bread lines getting longer, and it’s reported as GOOD NEWS whenever the rate of newly lost jobs even slows down a tick. That’s what this is:

Unemployment Applications Fall to 395K

The number of people who filed for U.S. unemployment benefits fell 7,000 to 395,000 in the week ended Aug. 6, the Labor Department said Thursday. Economists surveyed by MarketWatch had expected jobless claims to increase to 410,000 from an initially reported 400,000 in the prior week. Applications had been above 400,000 for the previous 17 weeks.
...
The economy expanded at an annual rate of just 0.8 percent in the first six months of the year, the slowest growth in the two years since the recession officially ended. It’s not likely to get much better in the second half of the year. The Federal Reserve on Tuesday said it expects growth will stay weak for two more years.

Odd though that this story, which actually was unexpected news, isn’t really being reported that way. Maybe it’s because 7,000 fewer lost jobs is merely a tick; a drop in the bucket compared to the more than 6.8 million folks who have lost their paychecks in the past 4 months. Oh, and economy “growing” at 0.8 percent is actually shrinking when the population is growing at a rate higher than that.

Good of the Fed to admit that things are going to stay flatlined for the next several years ... so I guess Fearless Reader’s plan to double exports is going to have to be wrapped in plain brown paper and thrown under the bus. It ain’t never gonna happen.

Oh, and don’t you love the “since the recession officially ended” part? What, did King Canute Lord Obama wave his mighty scepter and make the tides recede? Who’s fooling who here?

image

Lastly - hey, I’m giving you 3 posts in 1 here! - this unexpected “good” news on the jobs front is being touted as the reason Wall Street is now trending up, as the stock market enters it’s fourth consecutive day of insane roller coaster instability:

Strong performance by networking-giant Cisco and better-than-expected jobs data ignited a broad rally, but trading remained choppy amid heightened concerns over European banks and the global economy.

As of 10:25 a.m. ET, the Dow Jones Industrial Average climbed 219 points, or 2.1%, to 10,949, the S&P 500 jumped 27 points, or 2.4%, to 1,148 and Nasdaq Composite rose 64.3 points, or 2.7%, to 2,445.

Weekly jobless claims fell to 395,000 from 402,000 in the prior week, slightly better than expectations of 400,000.  The U.S. trade deficit hit $53.1 billion in June, wider than the $48 billion economists forecast.  The bigger the trade gap, the more it shaves from broader measures of economic output, meaning a wider deficit could be a hindrance on growth.

In other words, the newspaper reporter doesn’t know either, but he’s got to write something. My expectation is that gold will hit $1750 today. I haven’t checked; maybe it’s there already. Gold and silver seem to be the only reliable indicators, and they just continue to inflate. Which means we’re still falling down the poop chute. Wonderful.

Not that very many people ever read this far down, but this blog was the creation of Allan Kelly and his friend Vilmar. Vilmar moved on to his own blog some time ago, and Allan ran this place alone until his sudden and unexpected death partway through 2006. We all miss him. A lot. Even though he is gone this site will always still be more than a little bit his. We who are left to carry on the BMEWS tradition owe him a great debt of gratitude, and we hope to be able to pay that back by following his last advice to us all:
  1. Keep a firm grasp of Right and Wrong
  2. Stay involved with government on every level and don't let those bastards get away with a thing
  3. Use every legal means to defend yourself in the event of real internal trouble, and, most importantly:
  4. Keep talking to each other, whether here or elsewhere
It's been a long strange trip without you Skipper, but thanks for pointing us in the right direction and giving us a swift kick in the behind to get us going. Keep lookin' down on us, will ya? Thanks.

Oh, and here's some kind of visitor flag counter thingy. Hey, all the cool blogs have one, so I should too. The Visitors Online thingy up at the top doesn't count anything, but it looks neat. It had better, since I paid actual money for it.
