P.O.R.N.

P.O.R.N: Purveyors Of Repeated Negativity

Optimism is dead! Long live pessimism! Here we start another day on planet Earth, fellow humans. Everything sucks and you’re all losers. Everything you do today will be wrong. Nothing is worth a damn anymore. Why even bother to get out of bed. Men, your penis isn’t large enough or hard enough. Women, your vagina stinks. Your teeth aren’t white enough, your kitchen has germs everywhere just waiting to kill you. Your husband doesn’t appreciate you. Your wife doesn’t love you, your parents hate you. More foolish soldiers died today in Iraq. The terrorists are winning. You retirement is unsafe and you don’t make enough money. Everything costs too much. And if you suffer from [insert symptom] then you need to talk to your doctor about [latest miracle pill from Merck/Lilly/Pfizer]. In tonight’s News, we examine crack babies, drug gangs, the crooks in Washington, corporate crime, floods in Bangladesh, murder in Spain, bombings in Israel and how much longer this drought will continue before global warming wipes us all out. Speaking of Washington, Democrats today called Republicans more nasty names and Republicans responded with “yeah, and yo momma”. Salaries of sports figures have skyrocketed to new highs with a new $50 billion contract signed between [pick a team] and [pick any prima-donna pitcher/quarterback/forward/goalie], but that’s OK because [pick any prima-donna pitcher/quarterback/forward/goalie] needs the money to pay for his cocaine addiction and/or pay off civil suits in rape cases.

How do you feel after reading all that? Depressed? Tired? Frustrated? Is it any wonder that more and more people in this country are taking Prozac, Paxil or any of a dozen anti-depressents currently being marketed by doctors and drug companies? The sun has just barely made it over the horizon and we are all of us already under attack from the P.O.R.N. merchants. The attacks will continue all day long. You will be the recipient of constant barrages of negativity on TV, Radio, newspapers, blog sites, e-mail, snail-mail .... hell, everywhere you turn today you’re going to get hit with another wave of bitter, agonizing .... nihilism. It’s all bad, so why bother? Choose nothing over negative. There is no such thing as positive anymore. All is hateful, all is useless.

A PLAGUE ON ALL YOUR HOUSES!!

The Muslims hate the Christians, the Christians hate each other, the Democrats hate the Republicans, the Republicans hate the socialists, the socialists hate the fascists, the environmentalists hate the business people, the business people hate the poor, the poor hate everyone, the rich hate themselves, the gays hate the straights, the blacks hate the whites, the orientals hate the occidentals, but you know what .... the dolphins don’t care .... they just keep smiling and laughing at all of us.

They say there are only three things we all know for sure:

1- I am here
2- This is now
3- Everything else is just guesswork

On the other hand, I “know a few other things”: I know who I am, I know what I am capable of, I know the sun rose this morning on a beautiful day. I know I live in a “shining city on a hill”. I didn’t have a hangover and I didn’t need any pills to start the day. The air smells good and clean. I feel good. And to all the P.O.R.N. people out there, all I have to say is ....

HAVE A NICE DAY!

Drunk Of The Day Award

Some women have to be gotten drunk before a guy can impregnate them. Others evidently have to be totally soused before they produce the result. Today’s “Drunk Of The Day” award goes to this mother of seven .. one of whom is experiencing her first hangover at the ripe old age of .. oh .. ten minutes ....

BARTLESVILLE, Okla. - A woman has been arrested on child neglect charges after giving birth while drunk, police said. Melissa Irene Tanner, 37, is accused of having a blood alcohol content close to three times the legal limit when she gave birth to a baby girl on June 30. She is being held in jail with bail set at $30,000 and the baby has been placed in foster care.

The baby was not breathing upon birth and had to be administered a medication to counteract any narcotics that may have been present in the child’s system. After an emergency procedure by hospital staff, the child started breathing. Tanner reportedly has six other children. According to a July 11 probable cause affidavit filed in the case, Tanner told police she and another person had consumed a case of beer.

Ninety-nine bottles of beer in the delivery room, ninety-nine bottles of beer .. take one down, pass it around .. ninety-eight bottles of beer ....  tune

Chutzpah

chutzpah: (KHOOT-spuh, HOOT-spuh) Yiddish term for courage bordering on arrogance. Basically, the word means “I can’t f**king believe you did that!”. Don’t tell the Enron board that though. They have chutzpah running out their ears ....

Thu Jul 14, 7:52 PM ET
The five-member Enron board has approved raises for themselves that will up their pay by as much as one million dollars.

The Houston-based company revealed the move in a filing with the New York bankruptcy court that oversaw its reorganization last year. According to the filing, the Enron board said it voted to increase its compensation retroactively to the beginning of June.

It raises the annual salary of Enron Chairman John Ray the third from 200-thousand dollars to one-point-two million dollars. Vice Chairman Robert Deutschman gets a raise from 150-thousand dollars to 420-thousand dollars. Three other board members saw their pay double to 300-thousand dollars. None are Enron employees. Creditors chose them last year as part of the bankruptcy reorganization. According to The Wall Street Journal, the directors found more of their time was demanded than expected. They say the raises are temporary and will be revisited within six months.

The energy company imploded in 2001 during a massive financial and accounting scandal.

This medical condition is known as the “Enron Syndrome” and is characterized by sudden insatiable greed, coupled with a complete lack of conscience and seems to be an epidemic at upper management of the Texas energy company. There is no known cure. Persons who are infected should be quarantined at a local penitentiary and kept under constant surveillence.

The Dark Roverlord & The Media

I think I’m gonna bust a gut laughing at the media sniffing after Karl Rove, trying to discover the smoking gun that will prove he was the one who revealed the identity of CIA Agent Valerie Plame. Darth Rove and President Bush have dangled the bait before the media for the last week as all the liberal MSM went into a feeding frenzy to bring down the Master Of Disaster. Once again, it turns out the MSM have been had - hook, line and sinker. It seems Rover-Dover did actually “imply” that he had heard Plame was a CIA agent to Time reporter Matt Cooper but he was not disclosing secret information after all. The source for the RoveMeister’s information was none other than .... the media ....

WASHINGTON (AP) - Presidential confidant Karl Rove testified to a grand jury that he learned the identity of a CIA operative originally from journalists, then informally discussed the information with a Time magazine reporter days before the story broke, according to a person briefed on the testimony. The person, who works in the legal profession and spoke only on condition of anonymity because of the secrecy of grand jury proceedings, told The Associated Press that Rove testified last year that he remembers specifically being told by columnist Robert Novak that Valerie Plame, the wife of a harsh Iraq war critic, worked for the CIA.

Rove testified that Novak originally called him the Tuesday before Plame’s identity was revealed in July 2003 to discuss another story. The conversation eventually turned to former Ambassador Joseph Wilson, who was strongly criticizing the Bush administration’s Iraq war policy and the intelligence it used to justify the war, the source said. The person said Rove testified that Novak told him he had learned and planned to report in a weekend column that Wilson’s wife, Plame, had worked for the CIA, and the circumstances on how her husband traveled to Africa to check bogus claims of alleged nuclear material sales to Iraq.

Novak’s column, citing two Bush administration officials, appeared six days later, touching off a political firestorm and leading to a federal criminal investigation into who leaked Plame’s undercover identity. That probe has ensnared presidential aides and reporters in a two-year legal battle. Rove told the grand jury that by the time Novak had called him, he believes he had similar information about Wilson’s wife from another reporter but had no recollection of which reporter had told him about it first, the source said.

When Novak inquired about Wilson’s wife working for the CIA, Rove indicated he had heard something like that, according to the source’s recounting of the grand jury testimony. Rove told the grand jury that four days later, he had a phone conversation with Time magazine reporter Matt Cooper and - in an effort to discredit some of Wilson’s allegations - told Cooper that Wilson’s wife worked for the CIA, though he never used her name. An e-mail Cooper recently provided the grand jury shows Cooper reported to his magazine bosses that Rove had described Wilson’s wife in a confidential conversation as someone who “apparently works” at the CIA.

DEEEEEEEEEEE-LICIOUS!

The Smoking Gun

British authorities now have a definite link from the suicide bombers to Al-Qaeda ....

LONDON — Investigators have linked one of the suspected London suicide bombers to a group of alleged extremists arrested here last year in a foiled terrorist plot by a Pakistan-based Al Qaeda group, authorities said Wednesday.

Mohamed Sidique Khan, a 30-year-old primary school teacher, has emerged as a key figure among the four suspected bombers, European and U.S. investigators said. Although officials had said that Khan and the other three were unknown to security personnel before last week’s attack, investigators now think Khan was an associate of some of those arrested in last year’s plot.

That strengthens suspicions that the London attacks were carried out by an Al Qaeda branch that teamed Pakistani masterminds with Pakistani British operatives and had tried to strike Britain before, investigators said.

Authorities believe that Khan and the other suspects, who traveled extensively to countries including Pakistan,
Afghanistan and Saudi Arabia, received training from Al Qaeda specialists. Khan may have helped recruit and prepare his fellow bombers, who, like him, were Pakistani Britons from the northern city of Leeds, investigators said.

“That’s a connection that they are following right now,” said a U.S. law enforcement official familiar with the investigation who asked not to be identified. “Khan is a pretty key individual. He’s a common denominator between the two cases.”

The Pakistani connection distinguishes the London bombings from other recent attacks in Europe, such as last year’s Madrid train bombings, which allegedly were carried out by North African networks shuttling militants between Europe and
Iraq — a battle theater dominated by a new generation of Al Qaeda figures such as Abu Musab Zarqawi.

In contrast, the London case seems to point toward the classic inner core of Al Qaeda, whose surviving leaders are thought to be hiding in the Afghan-Pakistani borderlands. The London attacks also were the first suicide bombing attacks in Western Europe.

OK, that’s all the information I need. Prepare the B-52’s. Load ‘em up with nukes. Let’s go rain down death and destruction that will glow in the dark for thousands of years on the Afghan-Pakistani border. Collateral damage? Who gives a f**k? Time to get medieval on their asses! And tell the bombers that while they’re on the way back to cruise over France and drop any leftover nukes on the Frogs. Frogs and Wogs gone at last! Happy dance! Happy dance! YAY! YAY!

Killing Children & Bombing Mosques

The terrorists in Iraq know no mercy and have no humanity. They are bloodthirsty beasts with no conscience. Yet our liberal friends around the world expect us to treat them with kid gloves when they are captured. We are expected to coddle them, give them every consideration and be nice to them in every way imaginable. Somebody out there just doesn’t have their head screwed on right. I don’t know who is more barbaric, the terrorists or the leftists who would pamper them. Especially after they pull off outrageous acts like this ....

Wednesday, July 13, 2005
BAGHDAD, Iraq (CNN)—A suicide bomber blew up a vehicle Wednesday near a U.S. military convoy and a large group of Iraqi children in Baghdad, killing 27 people, Iraqi police and hospital officials said. Iraqi police said most of the dead were children. The attack also left 20 people wounded. The U.S. military said at least seven children and a U.S. soldier died in the attack. Three U.S. soldiers were wounded.

The soldiers were handing out treats to the children when the bomb went off, police said.

The attack—which happened around 10:50 a.m. (2:50 a.m. ET) in the eastern Baghdad neighborhood of al-Jaddeda—also set a nearby house on fire, police said. “The car bomber made a deliberate decision to attack one of our vehicles as the soldiers were engaged in a peaceful operation with Iraqi citizens,” Maj. Russ Goemaere said in a statement. “The terrorist undoubtedly saw the children around the Humvee as he attacked. The complete disregard for civilian life in this attack is absolutely abhorrent.”

Since the start of the war, 1,756 U.S. troops have died in Iraq. In another suicide attack, a bomber detonated his explosives late Tuesday inside the al-Kebir Sunni Mosque in the ethnically mixed city of Jalawlah, about 50 miles (80 kilometers) southeast of Baquba, killing two people and wounding 16 others, police said.

“The soldiers were handing out treats to the children when the bombs went off” .... read that again and hold that thought today.

More French Merde

In France, the bus service is lousy, the drivers are obnoxious, you can’t talk while riding and the buses never run on time. On top of that, if you don’t like it and decide to car pool with your friends, they’ll sue you. Ya know, looking back on it, June 6, 1944 is starting to look like a really, really bad mistake on our part. In fact, the only thing France has given civilization in the past two thousand years is an example of how not to act. Stoopid frogs!

(Guardian-UK) They might have been congratulated for their “green” efforts in an area of heavy air pollution. Instead a group of French cleaning ladies who organised a car-sharing scheme to get to work are being taken to court by a coach company which accuses them of “an act of unfair and parasitical competition”. The women, who live in Moselle and work five days a week at EU offices in Luxembourg, are being taken to court by Transports Schiocchet Excursions, which runs a service along the route. It wants the women to be fined and their cars confiscated.

Two years ago a business tribunal threw out the company’s case. It is now pursuing the women in a higher court, claiming that their action has cost it €2m (£1.4m). The women explained that for many years cleaners used the TSE line for the 40-minute ride across the border, which cost them €110 (£76) a month.

“Using our cars is quicker and at least twice as cheap. And on the bus we didn’t have the right to eat or even to speak,” said Martine Bourguignon. Odette Friedmann added: “In the evening instead of coming to get us at 9.30pm the bus would arrive at 10.30pm. If you made any comment to the driver you’d get a mouthful of abuse.”

“It’s absurd and ridiculous,” said the women’s lawyer, Cécile Klein-Schmitt. “I don’t see how any magistrate can find any legal basis for this case.” TSE is also suing the women’s employer, Onet-Luxembourg. “They’ve basically accused us of inciting the car-sharing scheme when we have nothing to do with the method of transport used by our staff,” said director Frédéric Sirerol.

Lawyers suck. The French suck. French lawyers .......? Sacre bleu! That is just way too much suckishness to contemplate!

Pro-Gun Industry Measure Poised to Pass Senate

After Danny Guzman was shot to death outside a Worcester, Mass., nightclub six years ago, his family did what few grieving families do: They sued the gun maker.

The Guzmans’ attorney, Hector Pineiro, contends that internal security measures at gun maker Kahr Arms were so lax that one of its employees was able to systematically steal the 9 mm guns’ component parts and assemble them outside the factory before their serial numbers were affixed. One of those guns, police have determined, was used to kill Guzman.

The Guzman lawsuit, as well as larger, pending lawsuits against the industry by several municipalities, including the District of Columbia and New York City, would come to an abrupt halt if legislation Senate Majority Leader Bill Frist, R-Tenn., wants to bring to the Senate floor as early as this week passes.

The bill would effectively ban lawsuits against gun manufacturers when the guns they make are not used for legitimate self-defense, recreational or sporting purposes.

Gun control advocates and gun supporters alike say the legislation, known as the Protection of Lawful Commerce in Arms Act, is one of a handful of bills where the GOP’s net gain of four—the party now holds 55 Senate seats—could spell the difference between last Congress’ defeat of gun legislation and a victory this year. And this version may be the most sweeping.

Melon Crime

It looks like the debut of Annoying Little Twerp as an SbB girl will have to wait. Sombody stole a shipment of fake melons she had ordered from Brazil. It looks like she’ll have to remain as chairperson of the I.B.T.C. fer now ....

RIO DE JANEIRO, Brazil (Reuters) - Armed bandits in Brazil robbed a vehicle carrying more than 400 breast implants, officials said on Tuesday.

“It happened last week, but we only learned about it recently as our clients started complaining. It is the hottest period of the year in terms of implant sales,” said Margaret Figueiredo, director of silicone implant manufacturer Silimed.

A spokesman for the state Postal Service confirmed that assailants, apparently men, robbed the postal van with implants on Thursday night in Rio de Janeiro. Each Silimed breast implant costs nearly $400.

Note: Does any one know if the catapult survived this test and if this big, fat f**ker ever made it airborne? I’d be curious to know what the “pucker factor” of the pilot and co-pilot was right after this shot too.
