And Democrats Accuse Republicans of Voter Fraud?

Here are two stories for you.

In Colorado, hundreds are under investigation for voter fraud

including casting multiple ballots, forging signatures or voting when they were ineligible.

What do you want to bet that if an intrepid reporter were to begin digging around he’d find almost all of them to be democrats?

In one case:

a husband and wife in Douglas County each cast absentee ballots, then cast provisional ballots for fear their mail-in votes wouldn’t count

The state official, though, brushed it off by saying:

They were not trying to intentionally vote twice. They just wanted to make sure their vote counted.

DAMMIT!!  It’s pandering shit like this that enables and encourages people to do these things!!!!

If these fucking morons do not understand the concept of the absentee ballot or don’t remember that they’ve voted, THEY SHOULD NOT BE PERMITTED TO VOTE!!!!!! Their names should be stricken from the rolls.

And officials who coddle people like this should be taken out back and shot.

It is EVERY citizen’s duty to know how to vote, when to vote, and where to vote.

Enough with the excuses for Christ’s sake!

In Ill-Annoy, 5 Dummycraps were arrested in an attempt to buy votes during the last election.

It sure makes you wonder----if we’d go back to every state where Bush lost by a small margin, how possible would it be to detect similar fraud which, when deducted from the vote count would result in his winning those states, too?

How Long Before……..?

After reading this piece I could not help but wonder how long it would be before some barking moonbat on the left begins accusing President Bush of using his connections with God to plan this?

Of course, had FEMA not given people money, these same accusers would have blamed Bush for being indifferent to the sufferings of the afflicted.

Assholes!

And you wonder why I despise these people?

Equal Justice

Looks like the Mexican drug cartels like to use pits of acid to dissolve the bodies of those they kill.

We should do the same to those we catch.  Hell, too bad the Minutemen who will be patrolling the borders next month don’t have a few of these sitting around.  They can dump the illegals they catch in there.  Hell, maybe even those crooked Mexican cops and military who shoot at our side.

Poking Fun At The Fwench

Obviously noting my recent posts about the French (here and here) plus the one about gum chewing, reader Darrell sent me the following.

An American is having breakfast one morning (coffee, croissants, bread, butter and jam) when a Frenchman, chewing bubble-gum, sits down next to him. The American ignores the Frenchman who, nevertheless, starts a conversation.

Frenchman: “You American folk eat the whole bread??”

American (in a bad mood): “Of course.”

Frenchman: (after blowing a huge bubble) “We don’t.  In France, we only eat what’s inside.  The crusts we collect in a container, recycle it, transform them into croissants and sell them to the states.” The Frenchman has a smirk on his face.

The American listens in silence.

The Frenchman persists: “Do you eat jelly with the bread??”

American: “Of Course.”

Frenchman: (cracking his bubble-gum between his teeth and chuckling).

“We don’t.  In France, we eat fresh fruit for breakfast, then we put all the peels, seeds, and leftovers in containers, recycle them, transform them into jam and sell the jam to the states.”

After a moment of silence, The American then asks: “Do you have sex in France?”

Frenchman: “Why of course we do”, he says with a big smirk.

American: “And what do you do with the condoms once you’ve used them?”

Frenchman: “We throw them away, of course.”

American: “We don’t.  In America, we put them in a container, recycle them, melt them down into bubble-gum and sell them to France.”

Nekkid Bullshit From PETA

imageimageMADRID (AFP) - The annual “running of the bulls” in the northern Spanish town of Pamplona could get some serious competition this year, in the form of a rival run by naked humans protesting cruelty to animals.

The People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) group, which has protested against the event in the past, even announced that it was asking the town authorities to replace the traditional bull-chase with its “running of the nudes.”

The nine-day San Fermin festival, due to start on July 6, traditionally involves hundreds of runners, including many tourists, trying to outrace a herd of bulls, who chase them throught the town’s narrow streets in a tradition that goes back centuries.

But PETA, which last year unleashed several protesters wearing nothing but fake horns and sandals into the streets of Pamplona, said it wants to turn the ‘Running of the Nudes’ into the official event this year to protest cruelty against animals.

The group is also concerned about last year’s outbreak of blue tongue disease, a virus which forced restrictions on livestock movements in southern regions of Spain.

“In light of the outbreak of blue tongue disease and the negative press reports of the disease… we have asked the mayor to make PETA’s Running of the Nudes’ the official event this year, PETA’s campaigns coordinator Yvonne Taylor told AFP.

A spokeswoman for Pamplona mayor Yolanda Barcina Angulo would not comment on PETA’s plans, but said that: “as far as we know the bull-running will go ahead as usual” in the absence of advice to the contrary following the blue tongue outbreak.

“People are free to express their own opinion. But the criticism only comes from Britons and Americans, not Spaniards,” she sniffed.

PETA tried a celebrity approach last year, with Chrissie Hynde, singer with rock group The Pretenders, urging an end to the “medieval” practice of “tormenting and slaughtering” the bulls, who last year gored 16 race participants.

Amid the controversy the organisers promise only that “the running of the bulls is an unforgettable experience for the spectator and above all for anyone who runs ahead of the bulls.

“It’s a spectacle defined by risk and one’s physical capacity.”

I have a brilliant concept: let’s run the bulls .... and the PETA nudes .... at the same time. We could place wagers on which PETANut survives, which one gets gored the least (or most), which one loses the fewest (or most) body parts, and so on. Damn! What an idea! This could be big, people! Broadcast it live on all TV channels. Sell ad spots for bajillions.

Front-Line News

Memo from Stan: I just got this e-mail from a buddy of mine at Fort Hood. Good stuff ....

I Went to an AUSA dinner last night at the Ft. Hood Officers’ Club to hear a speech by Maj. General Pete Chiarelli, Commanding General of the 1st Cav Div. He and most of the Div. have just returned from Iraq. Very informative and, surprise, the Mainstream Media (MSM) isn’t telling the story. I was not there as a reporter, didn’t take notes but I’ll make some the points I remember that were interesting, suprising or generally stuff I had not heard before.

It was not a speech per se. He just walked and talked, showed some slides and answered questions. Very impressive guy.

1. While units of the Cav served all over Iraq, he spoke mostly of Baghdad and more specifically Sadr City, the big slum on the eastern side of theTigeris River. He pointed out that Baghdad is, in geography, is about the size of Austin. Austin has 600,000 to 700,000 people. Baghdad has 6 to7 million people.

2. The Cav lost 28 main battle tanks. He said one of the big lessons learned is that, contrary to docterine going in, M1-A2s and Bradleys are needed, preferred and devastating in urban combat and he is going to make that point to the JCS next week while they are considering downsizing armor.

3. He showed a graph of attacks in Sadr City by month. Last Aug-Sep they were getting up to 160 attacks per week. During the last three months, the graph had flatlined at below 5 to zero per week.

4. His big point was not that they were “winning battles” to do this but that cleaning the place up, electricity, sewage, water were the key factors. He said yes they fought but after they started delivering services that the Iraqis in Sadr City had never had, the terrorist recruiting of 15 and 16 year olds came up empty.

5. The electrical “grid” is a bad, deadly joke. Said that driving down the street in a Hummv with an antenna would short out a whole block of apt. buildings. People do their own wiring and it was not uncommon for early morning patrols would find one or two people lying dead in the street, having been electrocuted trying to re-wire their own homes.

6. Said that not tending to a dead body in the Muslum culture never happens. On election day, after suicide bombers blew themselves up trying to take out polling places, voters would step up to the body lying there, spit on it, and move up in the line to vote.

7. Pointed out that we all heard from the media about the 100 Iraqis killed as they were lined up to enlist in the police and security service. What the media didn’t point out was that the next day there 300 lined up in the same place.

8. Said bin Laden and Zarqawi made a HUGE mistake when bin laden went public with naming Zarqawi the “prince” of al Quaeda in Iraq. Said that what the Iraqis saw and heard was a Saudi telling a Jordainan that his job was to kill Iraqis. HUGE mistake. It was one of the biggest factors in getting Iraqis who were on the “fence” to jump off on the side of the coalition and the new gov’t.

9. Said the MSM was making a big, and wrong, deal out of the religious sects. Said Iraqis are incredibly nationalistic. They are Iraqis first and then say they are Muslum but the Shi’a - Sunni thing is just not that big a deal to them.

10. After the election the Mayor of Baghdad told him that the people of the region (Middle East) are joyous and the governments are nervous.

11. Said that he did not lose a single tanker truck carrying oil and gas over the roads of Iraq. Think about that. All the attacks we saw on TV with IEDs hitting trucks but he didn’t lose one. Why? Army Aviation.  Praised his air units and said they made the decision early on that every convoy would have helicopter air cover. Said aviators in that unit were hitting the 1,000 hour mark (sound familiar?). Said a covoy was supposed to head out but stopped at the gates of a compound on the command of an E6. He asked the SSG what the hold up was. E6 said, “Air , sir.” He wondered what was wrong with the air, not realizing what the kid was talking about. Then the AH-64s showed up and the E6 said, “That air sir.” And then moved out.

12. Said one of the biggest problems was money and regs. There was a $77 million gap between the supplemental budget and what he needed in cash on the ground to get projects started. Said he spent most of his time trying to get money. Said he didn’t do much as a “combat commander” because the the war he was fighting was a war at the squad and platoon level. Said that his NCOs were winning the war and it was a sight to behold.

13. Said that of all the money appropriated for Iraq, not a cent was earmarked for agriculture. Said that Iraq could feed itself completely and still have food for export but no one thought about it. Said the Cav started working with Texas A&M on ag projects and had special hybrid seeds sent to them through Jordan. TAM analyzed soil samples and worked out how and what to plant. Said he had an E7 from Belton, TX (just down the road from Ft. Hood) who was almost single-handedly rebuilding the ag industry in the Baghdad area.

14. Said he could hire hundreds of Iraqis daily for $7 to $10 a day to work on sewer, electric, water projects, etc. but that the contracting rules from CONUS applied so he had to have $500,000 insurance policies in place in case the workers got hurt. Not kidding. The CONUS peacetime regs slowed everything down, even if they could eventually get waivers for the regs.

There was more, lots more, but the idea is that you haven’t heard any of this from anyone, at least I hadn’t and I pay more attention than most.

Great stuff. We should be proud. Said the Cav troops said it was ALL worth it on Jan. 30 when they saw how the Iraqis handled election day. Made them very proud of their service and what they had accomplished.

Africa…Dictators…Corruption (Once More)

Thanks to a comment by Vox Day I found this article by Nicolas Kristof in the NY Times. (registration may be required)

Yesterday I had an entry titled: Another From The “Who’s Surprised?” Dept.

In it I made a comment:

some people are MEANT to be forever subjugated to the rule and authority of others.  After all, what’s the difference if your “owner” is black or white.  You’re STILL a slave!

Here’s what came out of Kristof’s piece:

Many, many ordinary black Zimbabweans wish that they could get back the white racist government that oppressed them in the 1970’s.

“If we had the chance to go back to white rule, we’d do it,”

“Life was easier then, and at least you could get food and a job.”

“I want the white man’s government to come back. ... Even if whites were oppressing us, we could get jobs and things were cheap compared to today.”

Mugombo Mudenda, remembered that as a younger woman she used to eat meat, drink tea, use sugar and buy soap. But now she cannot even afford corn gruel. “I miss the days of white rule,” she said.

Here’s how he ends it:

When a white racist government was oppressing Zimbabwe, the international community united to demand change. These days, a black racist government is harming the people of Zimbabwe more than ever, and the international community is letting Mr. Mugabe get away with it. Our hypocrisy is costing hundreds of Zimbabwean lives every day.

Of course, the liberal mantra comes through as it always does: we have to do something.  Yet you will also notice that the “something” we have to do is never expounded upon.  You almost get the impression he’d want us to use our military’s force.  But no way, Jose!!  Especially not after what we know now and what the media did when we went in to liberate Iraq, depose Hussein, and stop the proliferation of WMDs and terrorism.

What’s happening in Africa is being done by Africans to Africans.  They demanded freedom.  They got it.  We tried saying they weren’t prepared for it but they insisted--- as did the international community.

So they are now “free” to do what they want.

And what do they do?  Starve their people, steal their lands, deny education, fail to provide health services --- the list goes on and on.  When the international community bands together to ship in food and other aid, no infrastructure exists within those countries to move the product.  It rots at the ports or harbors.  If infrastructure does exist it is under the control of the petty despots and dictators in charge of the country and they steal it all only to sell (at prices the average man can not afford) what they don’t keep for themselves.

We should keep our noses out of this and just wait for it to sort itself out.  Then...........................move in and take it all over using a blueprint loved by the liberal left---not interfere with indigenous lifestyles (meaning they can continue to kill one another); take away all their guns so they use only bows, arrows, slings and clubs; refrain from pushing our lifestyle on them (no TV, no electricity, no sewers, etc.)

And while they live in their mud huts dressed in loin clothes with National Geographic photographers once more taking pictures of nekkid natives, we mine the shit out of the place....of course, we’d restore it to its pristine original beauty afterwards!!

Who’s with me?

And No One Saw It Coming?

This is the monster that killed all those people in Minnesota.

image

Go here to read what The Smoking Gun has on him.

Go here for a really disturbing snapshot of what this punk was all about.

All the while, no one noticed anything wrong?!!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!

Well, I guess to have committed him would have been a violation of his “civil and human rights” which the ACLU would have sued someone for doing.  Can’t do a thing until they actually manifest violence.

The availability of all this glom and doom/Goth crap on the internet will result in even more incidents like this.
I wonder how many parents bothered to check where their kids go, what profiles they have, etc.?

Not many, eh?

Seriously, though, what should be done?

Rather-Gate Redux?

Wa-Po is once more up to its dirty tricks and exhibiting classic signs of not learning a damned thing from Rather-gate.

They ran a story implying that Republicans were circulating a memo in the Senate intending to exploit the Terri Schiavo case.

Someone reads a “memo” over the phone to the reporter.  The reporter then runs the story never once demanding to actually see the memo himself.

Well, as it turns out the memo is northing more than a piece of paper with no letterhead and no signatures.

It purportedly was introduced into the Senate chamber and copies circulated around by the Senators.

Hey, I don’t know about the rest of you readers but simply because “someone” circulates a “white paper” within a group does NOT mean that those to whom it was circulated are of the same political persuasion as those who wrote it.

Look at it this way--a page goes into the Dems’ chambers and circulates a position paper advocating overturn of Roe v. Wade.  As that paper is being circulated the Senators pass copies around with all of them asking one another, “who wrote this?  Where did it come from?”

Meanwhile, a plant calls the press to declare that Dems are now changing their position on an issue and that the paper came from Dem Hq.

It’s not so far fetched, is it?  Especially considering that this is the M.O. of the media and Dems anyway.

Read Michelle’s take here and here.

When will the MSM learn what true journalism is?

Oh, and don’t hold your breath waiting for that memo to be produced by Wa-Po, either.
