Of course the Los Angeles Times obtained a copy of Schwarzenegger’s remarks and started a firestorm among Leftists in California who thought the governor’s words were racist. Naturally , the Governator had to issue a public apology to appease the morons. For the life of me, I cannot find anything in the statement that even remotely resembles racism. It sounds like a complement to me. When will this madness end?

White Man’s Burden

Welcome to Politically Correct England, old boy! If you’re black or from the Middle East, that is. Britain welcomes with open arms every minority from all over the world, gives them free medical care and state subsidized welfare. Want a free house to live in? Sure. Help yourself.

However, if you are a member of that hated, disgusting Caucasian race, you are out of luck. You can’t even apply for certain jobs - even though you are overqualified. So take your lily white butt elsewhere, chum. The Socialist People’s Republic of England expects every man to do his duty. Unless you’re white ... in which case, you can trot your butt to the back of the bus.

Man Barred From British Royal Palace Job For Being White

A history graduate had been banned from applying for a post in a royal palace because he is white, British newspapers reported. Kieron Keenan, 23, said he was told he could not put his name forward to work as a trainee museum assistant at the Royal Pavilion in Brighton on the southern English coast because he is not of African, Afro-Caribbean, South Asian or Chinese descent.

Brighton and Hove Council used the Race Relations Act to block whites from applying for the 9,000 pounds (16,500 dollars, 13,000 euros) a year job to help fill quotas for ethnic minority employees, The Daily Telegraph reported. “It’s astonishing,” Keenan said. “In order to be seen to be less discriminatory towards ethnic groups the council has used a law which is blatently discriminatory against another ethnic group. “Apparently it is perfectly legal. I feel very annoyed.”

“To get a graduate job in the history field is very hard and I have been automatically barred because of my skin. I am perfectly qualified to do the job. I didn’t even get the chance to apply because the advert made it clear you could not apply unless you were non-white.”

A spokesman for Brighton and Hove Council said: “It is lawful to offer training only for people from a certain racial group or to encourage people from that racial group to apply.”

But Bert Williams, who runs the Brighton and Hove Black History Project, countered: “Yes, the council must have a more representative work force but this is not the way it should be doing it because it’s another form of discrimination.”

The 2001 census found that of the 247,817 people in the Brighton area, 94 percent classed themselves as white, two percent as mixed race, two percent as Asian, one percent as black and one percent as Chinese or another ethnic group.

- Boston Globe: “Grand jury decides not to indict McKinney”

A grand jury declined to indict Representative Cynthia McKinney yesterday in connection with a confrontation in which she admitted that she hit a Capitol Police officer who tried to stop her from entering a House office building. The incident occurred March 29 when McKinney, a Georgia Democrat , tried to enter a building without walking through a metal detector or wearing the lapel pin that identifies members of Congress. The guard did not recognize her as a member of Congress and asked her three times to stop. When she ignored him, he tried to stop her. McKinney then hit him. The next morning, she appeared on the House floor to apologize. (AP)

- ABC News: “Police Group Wants McKinney Scuffle Probed”

Police labor officials, angry over a federal grand jury’s refusal to indict Rep. Cynthia McKinney for assaulting a police officer, said Monday said they want the House ethics committee to review her conduct. And they said the grand jury’s decision last week sent the message that “it’s okay to hit a police officer.”

“We hope that members of Congress will review her actions in light of their rules within their own ethics committee,” Andrew Maybo, chairman of the U.S. Capitol Police Labor Committee, told reporters Monday at a news conference in Washington.

Maybo said the Fraternal Order of Police would send a letter later this week to the ethics committee suggesting that McKinney’s behavior violated an item in the chamber’s ethics manual that calls for members to “conduct (themselves) at all times in a manner which shall reflect creditably on the House of Representatives.”

A little known African American woman announced Thursday that she will try to unseat Georgia Democratic Congresswoman Cynthia McKinney, who has been mired in controversy since she struck a U.S. Capitol policeman in the chest with her closed fist. Catherine Davis, a human resources manager who has never held elected office, said she is running because McKinney’s “dismal legislative record and her outrageous behavior are an embarrassment to the hard-working folks in my district.” McKinney represents Georgia’s 4th Congressional District.

Davis is conservative. She favors a strict approach to immigration reform - the immediate securing of the borders and deportation of illegal residents, privatizing Social Security, Health Savings Accounts, school vouchers and the Fair Tax, which would eliminate the federal income tax and establish a federal sales tax.

McKinney was first elected to the U.S. House in 1992 to represent Georgia’s heavily Democratic 11th District. The district was redrawn by order of the U.S. Supreme Court in 1995 and McKinney was elected in the new, but still heavily Democratic 4th District in 1996. She lost her seat in 2002 when she was beaten in a Democratic primary, but when the winner then attempted a bid for the U.S. Senate in 2004, McKinney recaptured her old seat. Davis said she believes the district is ready for change after the controversy that has swirled around McKinney.

There is probably no more blatant example of a waste of oxygen than this woman. She is arrogant, racist and completely out of her mind.

Drunk with power, she cruises the halls of Congress, pandering to every camera she can find. Unfortunately, this is the kind of person the Democratic party sends to Washington over and over again.

I wish someone in Congress would stand up to these racists like McKinney and at the very least spank her for an ethics violation.

If any of us hit a policeman we’d be in deep kimchee by now. When this ditzy broad does it, she gets a pass. That’s not right.

Senate Endorses English As National Language In A Symbolic Stand

WASHINGTON (SAN JOSE MERCURY NEWS)—In an impassioned debate laden with symbolism, the Senate voted 63-34 Thursday to declare English the national language as it continued to debate legislation that would put millions of illegal immigrants on track to U.S. citizenship.

Senate Democratic leader Harry Reid, D-Nev., denounced the amendment as racist and joined other opponents in warning that it could undercut long-established civil rights law. The amendment’s lead sponsor, Sen. James Inhofe, R-Okla., bristled at the assertion, saying the proposal would unify the nation’s increasingly diverse population and wouldn’t dismantle existing legal protections.

The first Senate vote on the issue in more than two decades illuminated the emotional divisions over Congress’ efforts to craft legislation to deal with as many as 12 million immigrants who’ve entered the country illegally in search of better-paying jobs.

Mexican Family

A Mexican family crosses over the border to the Land of Milk and Honey where the streets are paved with gold. But the husband can find no work.

His family is hungry, so he takes a walk to a quiet place at the foot of a big hill, kneels at the base of a tree, and begins to pray: “Sweet Jesus, please show me a way to feed my family...”

Eyes closed, the Mexican does not see the BLACK man coming over the top of the hill, who is stumbling wildly with a broken grocery sack. When the Mexican man opens his eyes, a large wheel of cheddar cheese rolls down the hill an lands at his feet!

“Oh, thank you Jesus, thank you!” he cries, grabs the cheese, and runs straight home. Upon returning home, he gives the cheese to his wife and instructs her to make nachos.

“But wouldn’t you rather have cheese enchiladas and burritos and other things?” she inquires. “No,” the husband says, “Jesus sent this to me with a message… As I ran home,

Racism By Any Other Name

From where I sit, it looks like we’ve come full circle since the early 1960’s when George Wallace said, “Segregation now, segregation tomorrow and segregation forever!” The only difference now is it is a black mayor of Detroit using almost the exact same language to promote racism under the guise of “affirmative action”.

What’s tragically ironic about all this is the NAACP and their supporters didn’t even want the voters to vote on the measure and tried to block it - which reminds me of another George Wallace quote, “I draw the line in the dust and toss the gauntlet before the feet of tyranny”. I wonder if the NAACP and mayor Kilpatrick are even remotely aware that they have literally become the thing they most hated fifty years ago?

NAACP to Fight Michigan Ballot Proposal

DETROIT (AP)—In blunt and passionate tones, officials at a major NAACP fundraiser that drew 10,000 people blasted a ballot initiative that aims to restrict affirmative action programs in Michigan.

“On behalf of the city of Detroit, I say, `Bring it on,’” Mayor Kwame Kilpatrick said at the 51st annual Fight for Freedom Fund Dinner on Sunday. “If you want a fight, there is one waiting for you right here.”

Michigan voters will be asked in November whether governments and university admissions programs should be prohibited from giving preferential treatment to groups or individuals based on their race, gender, color, ethnicity or national origin.

Supporters include California businessman Ward Connerly, who has backed similar proposals in his home state and in Washington. Opponents have waged a lengthy but unsuccessful legal battle to block the referendum.

“There will be affirmative action here today,” Kilpatrick said. “There will be affirmative action here tomorrow and there will be affirmative action in our state forever.”

The Race Card Is A Joker

The right reverend Jackson is at it again. I am always amazed that people never call his hand on these blatant racist accusations and demagoguery. I don’t know all the facts of this case except what I’ve heard on the news and what I read but it seems to me there is plenty of room for doubt that the stripper is telling the truth. DNA tests have confirmed the players’ contention that nothing happened.

The court will have to decide eventually. In the meantime, Jackson and crew have already decided to step into this mess and stand behind this woman even if she turns out to be lying (his own words). How does Jackson get away with this kind of racist behavior ... ?

Jackson: Rainbow/Push To Pay Woman’s Tuition At N.C. Central

DURHAM, N.C. (AP)—The Rev. Jesse Jackson said yesterday that his Rainbow/Push Coalition will pay the college tuition of a black woman who told police she was raped by white members of Duke University’s men’s lacrosse team - no matter the outcome of the case.

“I can’t wait ... to talk with her and have prayer with her, because our organization is committed, when she’s physically and emotionally able ... to provide for her the scholarship money to finish school so she will never ... again have to stoop that low to survive,” he said from Chicago in a telephone interview with The Associated Press.

When asked, Jackson also said that his group will pay for the woman’s tuition even if her story proves false. Attorneys for the lacrosse players have strongly denied that any sexual assault took place at the March 13 party, citing DNA tests performed on all 46 of the team’s white members that failed to match any samples taken from the woman.

Defense attorneys have said that they expect the case to go to a grand jury Monday. Jackson said that there is plenty of circumstantial evidence indicating that something happened to the woman, a 27-year-old divorced mother of two who is a student across town from Duke at historically black N.C. Central University. A doctor and forensic nurse who examined the woman found evidence consistent with rape, according to court documents.

Beavis & Butthead In New Orleans

I have two questions about this: (1) What church do these two “reverends” belong to? and (2) Why don’t they get real jobs and stop stirring up trouble for everyone? Nobody’s voting rights are being violated. All the displaced people have to do is pick up a ballot and mail it in.

If anything, the real fraud will be perpetrated by the large number of people who have no plans whatsoever to move back. But that doesn’t matter to Jesse and Al. All they ever seem to care about is getting their faces on TV and screaming “oppression” at the drop of a hat. They just will not shut up until they have extorted money from someone. I wonder who their victim will be this time ...

Jackson, Sharpton Rally for La. Voters

NEW ORLEANS (AP) - Hundreds of protesters led by the Revs. Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton rallied Saturday, saying the city’s election plans will disenfranchise voters displaced by Hurricane Katrina.

The system of mail-in voting set up for the April 22 election for mayor and other positions in the city will make it difficult for voters living elsewhere to cast a ballot, Jackson and other activists said.

Black people, who made up 70 percent of New Orleans before Katrina hit, form a large majority of those still displaced.

“We want the Voting Rights Act,” Jackson said at a news conference before the rally. Black leaders have argued city elections could violate the landmark 1965 law designed to ensure voter equality.

The city election could have a broad effect nationwide, Sharpton said: “What happens in New Orleans will affect voting rights all over the United States.”

Jackson and other activists are demanding satellite polling places for displaced voters in cities outside New Orleans, and even outside Louisiana. Fewer than half of the city’s 460,000 residents have returned since the Aug. 29 storm flooded the city.

Activists also urged the release of updated lists of displaced voter addresses, a request the Federal Emergency Management Agency has denied, saying it would breach privacy. About 2,000 people attended the rally and march, police said.

Farrakhan In Cuba

What do Jimmy Carter, Dan Rather and Louis Farrakhan have in common? A deep and abiding love for Fidel Castro and communist oppression. All three carefully ignore the Cuban prisons full of political dissidents and the virtual police state that Castro runs.

Farrakhan also proves how stupid he is by going to Cuba to learn how to survive a hurricane, claiming Cuba has not lost any lives to hurricanes. He conveniently ignores the 16 killed in Cuba by Hurricane Dennis in 2005 or the 1,000+ Cubans killed by Hurricane Flora in 1963 or the Hurricane Of Santa Cruz in 1932 that killed over 3,000 Cubans.

Then again, Farrakhan has never been known to be very bright. In the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina he was the one who started spreading the rumor that the government had blown up the levees in New Orleans with explosives in order to kill black people. With any luck, Castro will keep him. The commie dictator and the head of the Nation Of Islam should get along very well ....

Farrakhan Visits Cuba, Denounces US Katrina Aid

Nation of Islam leader Louis Farrakhan is visiting communist Cuba to learn about disaster relief, a visit prompted by the failure of the U.S. government to cope with Hurricane Katrina, he said on Monday.

The controversial Nation of Islam leader, who is visiting Cuba for a week, criticized Washington for refusing a Cuban offer to send doctors after Katrina devastated New Orleans last August, flooding neighborhoods mainly populated by blacks and the impoverished.

“After Hurricane Katrina and the failure of federal and state government, we felt it was our duty to come to Cuba to learn disaster management from the Cuban people who have had many hurricanes and have not lost lives,” he said.

Denial

I don’t get it. The result of Hitler’s “Final Solution” was witnessed by millions of US, British and Soviet servicemen in the years after WWII. Auschwitz-Birkenau, Belzec, Chelmno, Majdanek, Sobibor, and Treblinka. Tragic reminders of the effect of uncontrolled bigotry and racism. Not just against Jews but also homosexuals, gypsies and mental defectives. It was a blight on the human race that we have yet to live down.

Now, sixty years later, insane leaders in the Middle East are claiming it never happened, entire terrorist organizations are dedicated to the destruction of every living Jew on the planet and now ... a British historian goes over to the Dark Side. Why are these people so obsessed over Jews? It makes no sense whatsoever. Jews haven’t started a major war since Jericho. Jews don’t preach hatred of other people or religions. Yet down through history, Jews have been the “red-headed stepchild” of the human race. Blamed for darn near everything bad. Why?

It has always been a mystery to me because I have several Jewish friends and have known dozens of Jews in my life. I could detect no evil mind-control, money-grabbing conspiracy in any of them. In fact, they were all just like you and me and nearly every other person on the planet ... with the exception of the insane, irrational people who possess a blind, burning hatred of them or just plain ignorance like Mr. Irving below.

Please, somebody enlighten me. What am I missing here? What does the human race stand to gain by denying evil? When are we going to learn that the only to stop evil is to fight it. Over and over again, if necessary ....

Irving Repeats Holocaust Denial

VIENNA, Austria (BBC)

Jailed British historian David Irving has again said he does not believe Hitler presided over a systematic attempt to exterminate Jews in Europe. During his trial in Austria, Irving said he had changed his mind over claims the Holocaust did not happen. But, speaking from his cell, he asked BBC News why, if such a programme existed, “so many survived”.

He is appealing for a reduction in the three-year jail term. Prosecutors are seeking for it to be lengthened. The Austrian state prosecutor’s office said it believed Irving’s sentence was too lenient in light of a possible sentence of up to 10 years. The prosecutor also deemed the sentence too light because of “Irving’s special importance to right-wing radicals”, a spokesman for the office said.

The historian pleaded guilty in his one-day trial in Vienna on Monday. In his trial, the 67-year-old admitted that in 1989 he had denied that Nazi Germany had killed millions of Jews. Speaking from prison, where he is in solitary confinement for 23 hours each day, Irving told BBC News he now believed there had been isolated cases of Jewish people being gassed during World War II.

However, he added that “Hitler’s own involvement has a big question mark behind it”, before repeating his belief that an extermination policy did not exist. “Given the ruthless efficiency of the Germans, if there was an extermination programme to kill all the Jews, how come so many survived?” he said.

The charges against Irving arose from comments he made in Austria in 1989 denying the existence of gas chambers at Auschwitz. Austria is one of 11 countries with laws against denying the Holocaust. The historian previously said that he doubted the Holocaust’s existence until he saw the personal files of Adolf Eichmann, the chief organiser of the Holocaust.

“I said that then based on my knowledge at the time, but by 1991 when I came across the Eichmann papers, I wasn’t saying that anymore and I wouldn’t say that now,” Irving told the court. “The Nazis did murder millions of Jews.”

In the past, he had claimed that Adolf Hitler knew little, if anything, about the Holocaust, and that the gas chambers were a hoax. Irving’s lawyer has said his client is unlikely to serve the full three-year term because of various factors, including his age.

White People Are Mutants?

Well, this is a fine “how-do-you-do”! Now I find out that “normal” humans are dark-skinned and us caucasians are mutants? Wait until Jesse finds out about this! We’ll never hear the end of it. Next thing you know, he and Al and Louis will be telling all black people to avoid all contact with whitey since we’re “abnormal”. The skin color of Europeans may have turned white after their ancestors migrated from Africa because of a single mutation among the 3 billion genetic “letters” that make up the human genome, scientists reported Thursday. The mutation explains part of the lingering mystery of how human skin colors evolved during the last 50,000 years as modern humans migrated across the world after leaving Africa, according to research published today in the journal Science.

“This really calls into question our ideas about race,” said Mark Shriver, professor of anthropology and genetics at Penn State University and an author of the paper. Cancer researchers discovered the mutation in zebra fish while investigating a gene they suspected might play a role in malignant melanoma, a skin cancer. Researchers found that a mutation of a gene called SLC24A5 seemed to explain why golden zebra fish had lighter pigmentation in their stripes than other zebra fish.

When geneticists from Penn State University compared the human variations of the gene contained in DNA data bases, they found that West Africans and East Asians have the same SLC24A5 gene as dark-striped zebra fish. However, Europeans and the golden zebra fish have similar mutations of that gene. “By default, we are all dark-skinned,” said Kenneth K. Kidd of Yale’s genetics department. “This type of research is a kind of footprint that can describe how modern humans spread out of African origins and occupied the rest of the world.”

Katrina Race Card Was A Joker

I am waiting with bated breath for the soon to be forthcoming apology from Jesse Jackson, Louis Farrakhan, Kanye West and several other race warlords who repeatedly claimed that FEMA and the Bush administration were racist in their response to Hurricane Katrina. I’m sure we’ll see them on CNN any day now with full retractions for their uninformed opinions. Let me know when they do as I would like to publicly thank them for having the character to admit their mistake ....

Statistics Suggest Race Not a Factor in Katrina Deaths

Statistics released by the Louisiana Department of Health and Hospitals suggest that fewer than half of the victims of Hurricane Katrina were black, and that whites died at the highest rate of all races in New Orleans. Liberals in the aftermath of the storm were quick to allege that the Bush administration delayed its response to the catastrophe because most of the victims were black.

Damu Smith, founder of the National Black Environmental Justice Network, in September said that the federal government “ignored us, they forgot about us ... because we look like we look.” Nation of Islam leader Louis Farrakhan in October said that the Federal Emergency Management Agency wasn’t fit to help the storm’s victims because “there are not enough blacks high up in FEMA” and added that, “certainly the Red Cross is the same.” Rapper Kanye West used his time on NBC’s telethon for the hurricane victims to charge that, “George Bush doesn’t care about black people.”

But the state’s demographic information suggests that whites in New Orleans died at a higher rate than minorities. According to the 2000 census, whites make up 28 percent of the city’s population, but the Louisiana Department of Health and Hospitals indicates that whites constitute 36.6 percent of the storm’s fatalities in the city. African-Americans make up 67.25 percent of the population and 59.1 percent of the deceased. Other minorities constitute approximately 5 percent of the population and represented 4.3 percent of the storm’s fatalities. Overall for the state, 658 bodies have been identified. Forty-seven percent were African-American and 42 percent were Caucasian. The remaining bodies were either non-black minorities or undetermined.

Racists!

It had to happen sooner or later. It appears to have started in Canada though instead of one of the US “Blue States”. Give it time though and some liberal asshat governor in Michigan or Massachusetts or Washington state will issue a similar edict. “Minorty set-asides”, “employment equity”, “racial quotas” .... call it whatever you want, it’s still racism and bigotry, only it’s managed by the government “for your own good”. Hell, they even admit it is “discrimination”.

Tell me, do you think Dr. Martin Luther King and all the blacks who fought for equality in the 1960’s here in America would really be pleased to see how far things have gone in the wrong direction (and don’t bring up Jesse Jackson or Al Sharpton who are a disgrace to the entire human race)? Able-bodied white men seeking a career in Canada’s Department of Public Works had best wait awhile before submitting their resumes – the deputy minister of the federal agency has instructed managers to temporarily hire only visible minorities, women, aboriginals and the disabled.

David Marshall yesterday ordered that his edict banning hiring of Caucasian males be distributed throughout the agency by e-mail. The new policy, introduced in response to the department’s failure to meet targeted employment-equity goals, will be in place for the next five months, at which time it will be reviewed.

Canada’s federal benchmark for hiring visible minorities is one-in-five. Public Works’ proportion of female, disabled, aboriginal and non-white new hires fell from one in eight in March to one in twenty in September of this year.

“As executives and managers, our role includes ensuring that the public service is representative,” Marshall wrote in his memo. “This involves providing direction and leadership by example, and demonstrating a firm commitment to an inclusive workplace.”

Robb Macpherson, a labor attorney with the firm McCarthy Tetrault, agrees Canada’s Charter of Rights and Freedoms permits some discrimination to assist groups identified by the government as disadvantaged, but the form it usually takes is through programs that promote recruitment and hiring of qualified people from those groups – not by banning members of a non-minority class.

“They are in effect cutting off a significant portion of the workforce from these opportunities,” Macpherson tells the National Post. “It sounds like a pretty extreme measure that they’re contemplating.”

Your daily reading assignment today is from the Reverend Jesse Lee Peterson and is entitled “Using Rosa Parks”. Here is a small sample ...

Was the attention given to the death of Rosa Parks overdone, and if so, why? This question came to mind as I watched and listened to the funeral services for the woman credited with sparking the civil-rights movement.

Nearly every liberal demagogue alive showed up at Rosa Parks’ funeral to score political points, including the Clintons, Jesse Jackson, Al Sharpton, Louis Farrakhan, and NAACP leaders.

I have no issue with Rosa Parks. But I do have an issue with liberals trying to canonize her in order to glorify themselves, and legitimize their route to “progress” through political and racial agitation instead of hard work and character.

Not that very many people ever read this far down, but this blog was the creation of Allan Kelly and his friend Vilmar.
