Cowardice

We have lost the willingness to call evil by its rightful name, and the courage to stand in the face of it and say: “No. Not here. Not on my street. Not in my city.” There is no limit to the hells men devise when no one opposes them. “What’s the point?” a Rotherham victim asked investigators. “I might as well be dead.”

A short essay on ISIS and Rotherham. Sure, both are driven by jizzlam, but that’s not the point. The point is that evil is evil.

The men and women who failed her might ask themselves the same question. We might all ask it. What is the point, really, in preserving our comforts—our lives, even—if to do so we must become so small, so dark-hearted, that we turn our backs on the most vulnerable among us?

I suppose none of us knows whether he will be a coward until the moment demands courage. “Be prepared in season and out of season,” the apostle Paul wrote to Timothy. As far as we are concerned, perhaps this entails recognizing that the season is upon us—an evil season, a season when children worldwide are treated like so much trash, when questions once governed by common sense are now fodder for intellectual word-play, when an army gathering under a black flag is both a reality and a metaphor, for war rages in the hearts of men, and it is coming, is here already, in our neighborhoods and our homes and our own hearts, we good and decent people who are perhaps only better than these cowards because the hour has not yet come when evil stands on our doorstep and demands entrance.

It’s Time For A Burning

Rotherham Scandal Gets Bigger

Too afraid that Political Correctness would label them as “racists”, the town council and powers that be in Rotherham UK have turned a blind eye to the sexual abuse of more than 1400 young girls being “groomed” by perverts from Pakistan. It may very well be that thousands of young girls were raped and abused over a period spanning 16 years or more while the council and the police simply refused to believe the reports that they were being given.

Yesterday a detailed report on the horrible situation in Rotherham was published, and the head of the local council was forced to resign. Today the voices are calling out for the Chief of Police to do the same. Maybe tomorrow the hounds will bay for the head of the teacher’s union. But getting rid of the leaders won’t solve the problem. And just kicking them out of their jobs doesn’t begin to redress to hurt that they’ve allowed to go on for more than a decade. These foul cravens need to be arrested and put behind bars forever, at the very least. As do their entire departments. All the teachers, all the cops, the whole council. All of them. It it time for a purge. And the paki-pedos themselves? Posts, rope, logs, gasoline. Some minor assembly required.

But in a way, it’s even worse. When the evil council (and I can’t call them merely benighted; they are truly sold out to the muzzie pedos and that makes them evil incarnate) did act, they did it exactly arse-backwards.

Now it comes to light that the Council DID act at least once in a child’s interest: Last year, when they found out that some white foster parents belonged to UKIP, the (Conservative) United Kingdom Independence Party, they quickly came and took the children away.

Seven months later, they’ve come up with a half-assed apology, wherein they kind of “regret the communication of their decision” but claim it was in the best interest of the children. Meanwhile, the gang rapes continue.

Council which removed foster children after parents’ Ukip membership was discovered finally apologises seven months on

[May 2013] A council has finally apologised over the way it handled a decision to remove three Eastern European children from foster parents who were members of Ukip.

Rotherham Metropolitan Borough Council maintained that the removal of the siblings last November was in their ‘best interests’.

But it also said membership of the UK Independence Party was not a valid reason to take foster children from their carers and the issue was badly communicated.

In a statement, the local authority said a detailed review had found that the action to remove the brother and sisters was in their best interests.

It added: ‘However, we accept the impression left following media interviews on the morning of November 24 was that the removal of the children was solely because of the foster carers’ membership of Ukip and the council apologises for this.

‘As this is a child care case, legal reasons continue to prevent us from releasing further details. However, we know that there are important lessons the council must learn.

‘As a consequence, the council has taken action to strengthen the way it makes decisions, communicates and shares information.’

The children, a baby girl, a boy and an older girl, were removed by social workers after the council reportedly received an anonymous tip-off about the foster parents’ membership of the right-wing party.

Social workers reportedly said they were concerned about the children’s ‘cultural and ethnic needs’.

This was done at the very same time that the grooming and sexual abuse was so rampant that children felt “gang rape was just a part of life”.

Hang these bastards and set them aflame.

And now today ... now that the word has finally leaked out ... now that the world can see their obvious guilt ...

Police chief must go over Rotherham grooming outrage says his own party

< href="http://www.yorkshirepost.co.uk/news/main-topics/general-news/police-chief-must-go-over-rotherham-grooming-outrage-says-his-own-party-1-6805589">South Yorkshire’s police and crime commissioner Shaun Wright should step down following the “devastating” report into child abuse in Rotherham, the Labour Party said today.

• Trafficked for sex, doused in petrol: How Rotherham failed Child B

• Tom Richmond: Shameful and complacent - Why Shaun Wright must go now

Mr Wright had this morning vowed to continue in his role despite the report laying bare the horrifying scale of child sex abuse while he held a key position at the town’s local authority.

Mr Wright was the Labour council cabinet member responsible for children’s services in Rotherham from 2005 to 2010, in the middle of a 16-year period when 1,400 youngsters suffered wide-scale sexual exploitation including gang rapes, grooming and trafficking.

He apologised to victims of abuse today and insisted he had no knowledge of the scale of the problem when he was a Rotherham councillor.

But the Labour Party said today he should step down from his post as PCC following the publication of the damning report into the scandal.

A Labour spokesman said: “The report into child abuse in Rotherham was devastating in its findings. Vulnerable children were repeatedly abused and then let down.

“In the light of this report, it is appropriate that South Yorkshire police and crime commissioner Shaun Wright should step down.”

Shadow Chancellor Ed Balls has also called for him to step down.

However he added: “The Labour Party has no power to compel somebody who has been elected Police & Crime Commissioner to stand down”

No power? Well my guess is that the locals have all the power they need. Power in numbers. Power in anger. Power in pitchforks and torches. Because stepping down is not enough.

Rotherham Grooming Gangs Report Damns Council and South Yorkshire Police
Youth workers were prevented from helping abuse victims as council members ‘did not believe’ reports of abuse

The Independent Inquiry into Child Sexual Exploitation in Rotherham report is a damning indictment against Rotherham’s council and the South Yorkshire Police force, both of which have been struggling to cope with ongoing organised sexual abuse of children, over a period of 16 years.

The report states that 1,400 vulnerable children were sexually abused by grooming gangs in the borough. However, the true scale of the abuse is not known, as 1,400 is merely a “conservative estimate” of the number of victims.

The abusers would repeatedly rape their victims, some just 11 years old, and terrify them into silence by pouring petrol over them and telling them they would be set alight, threatening them with guns, and forcing them to watch “brutally violent rapes” while saying that they would be next.

The report places the blame for the continuing abuse on senior members of the council and South Yorkshire police force.

More than a third of the victims were already known to the local police and council services, because of issues around neglect and child protection. But youth workers’ managers would downplay the “seriousness of the problem” when cases of sexual abuse were reported to them.

And when cases were reported to South Yorkshire police, officers “gave no priority to CSE [child sexual exploitation], regarding many child victims with contempt, and failing to act on their abuse as a crime”, the report found.

You can download the full 160-page report here.

Members of the key agencies tasked with providing help to youths in Rotherham began a co-ordinated effort to monitor the children known to be at risk of grooming in the early 2000s, and were overwhelmed by the number of cases.

However, their managers provided “little or no support”. Senior police officers continued to regard the claims made by youth works regarding sexual abuse to be exaggerated, and “seemed intent on reducing the official numbers of children categorised as CSE”.

In 2002, social workers wrote a report detailing the sexual exploitation of children in Rotherham, but it was “effectively suppressed” as senior council officials refused to accept the claims being made as truthful.

No. Stepping down will not do. Simple prison will not do. Life behind bars with no parole will not do.

In 2002, social workers wrote a report detailing the sexual exploitation of children in Rotherham, but it was “effectively suppressed” as senior council officials refused to accept the claims being made as truthful.

Further reports were written in 2003 and 2006 detailing the links between the organised sexual abuse, the local drugs trade, guns, and other criminal activity, but they were ignored and not acted upon.

This was in spite of elected council members and senior officers attending seminars which described the abuse suffered in “the most explicit terms”, during 2004-05.

The council and police also failed to engage with the Pakistani community in Rotherham, despite the majority of the abusers being described as “Asian” by their victims. Rather, council staff reported being ordered to not identify the ethnic origins of the perpetrators.

another authorities are paralysed with fear of being accused of racism and Islamophobia

The Jihad Against Your Daughters

Pedophile muzzies have “groomed” thousands of underage girls

For Rape, Prostitution, Beatings ... while Authorities sat on their hands

How fear of being seen as racist stopped social workers saving up to 1,400 children from sexual exploitation at the hands of Asian men in just ONE TOWN

[ don’t forget that “Asian” doesn’t only mean “Chinese” in Europe. It means Middle Eastern as well. ]

The sexual abuse of about 1,400 children at the hands of Asian men went unreported for 16 years as staff feared they would be seen as racist, a report said today.

Children as young as 11 were trafficked, beaten, and raped by large numbers of men between 1997 and 2013 in Rotherham, South Yorkshire, the review into child protection revealed.

And shockingly, more than a third of the cases were already know to agencies.

But according to the report’s author: ‘several staff described their nervousness about identifying the ethnic origins of perpetrators for fear of being thought racist’.

Professor Alexis Jay, who wrote the report, condemned the ‘blatant’ collective failures by the council’s leadership, concluding: ‘It is hard to describe the appalling nature of the abuse that child victims suffered.’

The landmark report which exposed widespread failures of the council, police and social services revealed:

The lack of reports was partly down to a fear of being racist, Prof Jay wrote, as the majority of the perpetrators were described as ‘Asian men’, and many were said to be of Pakistani origin.

One young person told the inquiry that ‘gang rape’ was a usual part of growing up in the area of Rotherham where she lived.

In two cases, fathers had tracked down their daughters and tried to remove them from houses where they were being abused - only to be arrested themselves when police were called to the scene.

And one child declined her initial offer to give a statement after allegedly receiving a text from a perpetrator threatening to harm her younger sister.

The failures happened despite three reports between 2002 and 2006 ‘which could not have been clearer in the description of the situation in Rotherham’.

Plenty more at the link. The point is, the CRAVEN people in charge knew all about it, from the social workers to the cops to the school teachers. And all of them were too afraid of being “labeled” non-PC. So they let children die. For fear of being labeled, they allowed children to be raped repeatedly. For fear of being labeled, they let children be physically abused, abducted, and sold into prostitution.

Why is there not a revolution going on?

Oh, and Rotherham? This isn’t some city in the Netherlands, although it sounds like one. ROTHERHAM IS IN ENGLAND. (Central England, east of Liverpool and Manchester)

And what will happen to all the government workers, who turned a knowing, cowardly blind eye? NOT A DAMN THING:

No council employees will face disciplinary action in a town where 1,400 children suffered sexual exploitation in a 16-year period, the local authority’s chief executive has said.

Rotherham Council leader Roger Stone resigned today following the publication of a shocking report which detailed gang rapes, grooming, trafficking and other sexual exploitation on a wide scale in the South Yorkshire town.

But council chief executive Martin Kimber said he did not have the evidence to discipline any individuals working for the council despite the report saying there had been ‘blatant’ collective failures by its leadership at the time.

Is there not a man left in that green and pleasant land with any spine? Is there no English woman there with righteous anger? Are there no fathers, no mothers? Have all the villagers turned in their pitchforks and torches? Are they having a major rope and piano wire shortage over there?

GHOLY SHIITE you cowardly imbeciles, it’s time to tear this place apart!!

Offended at 20,000 feet

Insensitive, Racist, Sexist Airline Safety Video Scrapped

I have hidden the terrible, offensive video below the fold. I am such an old fart, pre-PC cretin, misogynistic raycis that I can’t see a single thing wrong with it. I think it’s charming, sweet, and even a little funny. I think it’s one of the most enjoyable and adorable little films I’ve seen in ages. And I think all the women are gorgeous, from the swimwear models to the ANZ spokesperson to the native Cook Islands dancers.

That pretty much settles it. If I think it’s great, then in today’s Bizzaro world, you know it’s Satan’s own spew covered in Hitler sauce and served with a double side of Evil Boooosh. I smell sulfur!!

Air New Zealand has scrapped an in-flight video, which features bikini clad Sports Illustrated models, after an online petition signed by thousands said it was offensive.

The airline came under criticism for the “Safety in Paradise” video —featuring models Christie Brinkley, Chrissy Teigen, Hannah Davis and Ariel Meredith running through safety pointers while looking glamorous in their bikinis on the shores of the Cook Islands.

Some 11,000 people signed an online petition asking for it to be removed, claiming it “completely disregarded” passengers who found it offensive.

“This video is culturally insensitive; it disregards those who are conservative by nature and are uncomfortable with its imagery and disregards passengers who have been exposed to sexual assault,” Natasha Young, author of the petition wrote.

I’m fairly Conservative. This vid doesn’t leave me feeling disregarded. Wait, WTF does “feels disregarded” even mean, anyway? Is that like “social justice” or something? And folks who “have been exposed to sexual assault”. Wait, what? Exposed to it? What, you saw someone being raped? Or you were yourself molested? Or were you college roommates with a morning-after accuser? That don’t jive. Anyway, what about it? Do you think that means the rest of the world, especially a distant South Pacific island where they only recently adopted White Man’s crazy idea of wearing clothing anyway, that distant little sparsely populated island where there isn’t anything to do except go to the beach, the empty, private, unseen beach ... do you the rest of the world is going to sit there on the sand in Paradise covered up from nose to toes because you once saw a girl get a surprise kiss from a guy she wasn’t interested in? Or is it the baby, those little people who are naturally naked from the get go, and mostly naked most of the time anyway?

Some people really have a stick up their arse. And I suppose that’s some kind of sexual assault these days too. Funvacs. Sucking all pleasure from life for everyone. Guess they get some kind of sour grapes power rush from that.

rural school critised because, all the pupils were of ‘white British heritage’.

I haven’t been as active here as I’d like to be.
Minor but persistent probs and all that.  There are times I don’t even want to be near a puter, just too damn tired and today is one such day.
However … from time to time I see something in the paper that is just so damn annoying, so bloody stupid, and so libtard politically correct, no matter what I feel like beside pissed off, I boot anyway and share the anger and the frustration.

Some years ago I shared a story with the same idea and bmews regulars have seen this more than once.  So this bit is for those surfing through, and those new to bmews who haven’t had the experience of the story. Yet.

I can’t recall the year it happened and have long ago lost the site, but know it was in the Daily Mail.  At the time, Labour was in occupation of number 10, and the left was busying itself with the final solution of the ruination of their own country. This one.

A national park faced closing and a number of park wardens were about to be made redundant.

Some bright light had decided that, “ there were too many white, middle aged, middle class ppl using the park.” As if minorities were being refused. But it’s the mindset of those lefty loons that get to me every time.
So with that in mind ….. here’s why I’m here today.

If you happen to live in a rural environment and have kids, the chances are that almost anywhere in the more civilized western world, the majority if not all, will be white folks.  And there are those who see that as undesirable.  They won’t be happy until there just aren’t any white folks left anywhere.  The order of the new day will be forced integration and marriage to breed out the white gene.  A bit ott I suppose but some things just bother the hell outta me.  Like this story.

btw … £35 in American dollars is $58.82
Ofsted. The letters stand for, Office for Standards in Education
The most important standard being anything currently politically correct and approved by the left.

Rural school deemed ‘too white’ by Ofsted visits London to mix with ethnic pupils

· Payhembury Primary in Devon was criticised for not being multicultural ( said as if they planned it that way)italics mine

· So visit planned to a school in London where most pupils are from minorities
· Smallberry Green primary in Isleworth, West London, will host 29 pupils
· Parents have called the £35 trip ‘patronising’ - though others welcome it

By Luke Salked and Tania Steere and Claire Ellicott

A small rural primary school has organised a sleepover to London – so the children get a chance to see people who are not white.
Payhembury Primary in Devon was criticised by Ofsted for being insufficiently ‘multicultural’.

So the 68-pupil Church of England school is asking parents to pay for their children to make a two-day trip to a school with a wide mix of ethnic backgrounds.
The visit – described by one parent as patronising and bizarre – has been sold to parents as a way of boosting Payhembury’s Ofsted grade from good to the top rating of outstanding.

( So in order to be an “outstanding school”, some kind of phoney arrangement must be made in which the parents all have to pay cash. If the idea is so damn good, the gas bags at Ofsted should foot the entire bill. )

The school they are visiting, Smallberry Green in Isleworth, West London – where three-quarters of the 410 pupils are from ethnic minorities – achieved the same good Ofsted rating.
Explaining the motivation for the trip, Payhembury headteacher Penny Hammett told parents in a letter: ‘The purpose of this trip is to build up a relationship with a school in a very different community to ours.

‘This will enable our children to gain a better understanding of multicultural Britain, which was identified in our last Ofsted as being an area for development.
‘Through our topics, visitors and discussions, we have been developing multicultural awareness in both Britain and throughout the world, but this visit will help us to experience in real life a school where there is a wide mix of children with different ethnic backgrounds and almost 50 per cent of the children do not have English as their first language.’

The letter also explains that four teachers will accompany the children on the two-day trip, which will involve pupils sleeping in the Isleworth school and using its catering facilities, for an estimated cost of £35.

While in London, the Devon children will engage in outdoor activities and record a CD.
Pupils from the school have written to their new pen-pals in London, some of whom will take part in a return visit to the school, near Honiton.
Mrs Hammett’s letter invites parents to a meeting to discuss the trip. But yesterday one mother said: ‘I’m astounded by this idea. Just because the children go to a small school in the country does not mean they aren’t aware of people with different coloured skin to them.
‘It’s very patronising – and for the school they are visiting too.’

‘We are being asked to shell out £35 to try and boost their next Ofsted inspection. I think it’s a very cynical approach.’
However, another parent supported the initiative, saying: ‘I think it’s a nice idea.

(Uh huh.  Be interesting to see if their offspring one day comes home with an ape on arm and says meet my boyfriend. Wonder if the idea will be seen in the same light.)

‘We don’t live in an ethnically diverse area, so it’s good for the kids to meet children from other kinds of background.’
In Isleworth, student Usna Hakimi, 19, who was picking up her two sisters up from Smallberry Green, said: ‘They’ve just told me about the sleepover and they’re quite excited to meet other children from a different part of England. It’s good for them to learn about other cultures.’

Smallberry Green head Caroline Hodges said the trip was organised with Payhembury because it places emphasis on outdoor learning.
‘The children will not be doing any cultural activities when they are here,’ she said.

The Rev Cate Edmonds, chairman of the governors at Payhembury, said: ‘We are fairly mono-cultural as an area in Devon and we don’t want children growing up thinking the whole world is full of trees and cows. This gives them an experience of urban living.’
Mrs Hammett said the trip, in which 29 pupils are taking part, was about providing an enriching experience for the children at both schools.
‘Devon is very quaint but our children don’t get to see the big wide world,’ she said.

At Ofsted’s last visit in 2010, inspectors praised Payhembury as a ‘happy place’ but pointed out all the pupils were of ‘white British heritage’.

( an obvious crime of the highest order )

Their report recommended ‘improving links with communities in contrasting parts of the UK and abroad’.

Last night Ofsted said at that time inspectors were required to report on the contribution made by the school to community cohesion, a requirement removed in 2011.

Oh dear … So those poor white kids have no iPhones, no computers, no tablets, no TV and have never been to the nearest town with a movie theater.  How deprived they all must be.

another knife in the back of England and the military by idiot civilian judges

For some time now I have been certain that western countries, and especially the one I am in right now, weren’t really much interested in saving their culture and country.
Of course what I meant to say was that the rulers weren’t much interested. The recent elections across the EU show that unsurprisingly, a good many ppl do care, the ones who haven’t been given votes on things that alter their countries.  It’s all over the news and I suspect it will continue for some days.  After the recent elections in EU,
there has been a serious drift to the right.  Only now are the cowards in office suddenly making all kinds of promises, in efforts to save political lives and earnings.

Now then, when I say the west just will not go the extra mile to protect itself, here’s a fine example of that.
Look at this headline below.  That alone says it all.

Taliban can’t be held more than 96 hours decides judge: Human rights ruling could hinder our troops in all wars, warn top brass

· Mr Justice Leggatt made the 117-page High Court judgement yesterday
· Ruled that British soldiers may not hold enemies for more than 96 hours
· This is because to do so would breach Afghan prisoners’ human rights
· It means Taliban chieftains must be freed to fight again within four days
· It followed claims brought by Taliban commanders held in Afghan jails
By Steve Doughty, Social Affairs Correspondent

British soldiers may not hold their enemies in Afghanistan as prisoners for longer than 96 hours because to do so would breach their human rights, a judge ruled yesterday.

It means that Taliban chieftains captured by British troops must be freed to fight again within four days.
The judgment – which followed claims brought by four Taliban commanders now held in Afghan jails – alarmed military chiefs and politicians.
They believe soldiers should not be asked to fight and die on the battlefield according to the letter of human rights law.

The 117-page High Court ruling by Mr Justice Leggatt means that the European Convention on Human Rights, and the UK’s Human Rights Act, which made the convention part of British law, apply wherever British troops are fighting.

The judge said that by detaining Taliban leader Serdar Mohammed for 106 days beyond the legal 96-hour limit, Britain had breached his right to liberty.

Taxpayers will now have to pay compensation running into tens of thousands to Mohammed and three other captives involved in the case.

The ruling also opens the way for many other Afghan detainees to sue for compensation, with British law firms likely to be queuing up to help them.

Pretty damn sorry innit?

late night tea time

Up again in the middle of the night. Wide awake. I don’t know why. Can’t get back to sleep. Ok, check the house; fine. Visit the bathroom. Fine. Mugga tea? Sure, why not; it seems PG Tips is my go-to at 3am. Mmm, it smells so good.

Ok, so what’s happening out there in the middle of the night here??

Let’s start things off with a BANG, or at least a smash:

image2014 IndyCar Grand Prix of Indianapolis Starts with Huge Crash
It took only seconds for pole-sitter Sebastian Saavedra’s dreams to go up in smoke at the 2014 IndyCar Grand Prix of Indianapolis on Saturday.

When the green flag dropped, Saavedra stalled at the starting line. As a result, opposing drivers were forced to work around the 23-year-old Colombian. Carlos Munoz couldn’t react quickly enough, making contact with Saavedra and setting off a scary chain of events. Mikhail Aleshin also rear-ended Saavedra, compounding his bad luck.

Debris went flying all over the track.

The collateral damage wasn’t limited to the drivers, though. John Tuohy of The Indianapolis Star reported that Indianapolis Mayor Greg Ballard was struck by debris as he waved the green flag. Mayoral spokesman Marc Lotter said that Ballard had been hit in the elbow, but the injury wasn’t considered serious.

I had to go and stare at my calendar after reading this one. Indy, today?? WT ... ? I even checked the internet ... nope, Memorial Day isn’t until the end of the month. It wasn’t until I was on my second read through that I noticed that this was the “IndyCar Grand Prix” not the Indy 500. riiight, because they had that big fight and split up a couple years ago, remember?  Amazingly nobody was really hurt. Bet it took them a while to sweep the track clean though.

speaking of bangs and smashes ...

Texas man arrested for suspected premarital sex with 16-year-old wife
The marriage may be legal but the suspected premarital sex was not, authorities said on Saturday after arresting a 41-year-old Houston-area drama teacher for the alleged sexual assault of a child, his 16-year-old wife.

Ilich Guardiola, who also works as a voice actor in Japanese animations, was pulled over in a traffic stop in the Houston suburb of Spring Valley last month and later questioned about his relationship with the teen riding with him, police said.

Shortly after the incident, Guardiola married the teenager, who has not been identified, in Las Vegas with the approval of her mother, who witnessed the wedding.

Police said there is circumstantial evidence that the two engaged in a sexual relationship prior to legal marriage.

“The marriage is absolutely legal. We received a copy of the marriage certificate,” said Gary Finkelman of the Spring Valley Police Department.

Guardiola was arrested on Thursday at his Houston-area apartment for violating a Texas law that forbids sex with a child, regardless of the child’s consent. A child is defined as a person under 17 years of age.

Guardiola’ bail has been set at $50,000 and no lawyer has been listed as representing him, according to his arrest record.

Really Texas? Seriously? Intolerant bunch of Christo-fascists, or what? And “circumstantial evidence”? More seriously? What’d ya do, go rooting around in the dumpster for some used rubbers? Pathetic. I mean, look at this story: the guy gets pulled over, but “later” he’s questioned about his relationship? Why, did they drag him off to pedo-jail immediately?

Actually I think this is a lose-lose case for Texas. If the guy had been abducting the under age girl, and the cop hadn’t questioned him (or arrested him on general principle) and he had been a kidnapping pedo, then they would have been in 11 kinds of hot water. Instead, he’s hassling a guy apparently on his way to getting married in Vegas?

Ok, the dude probably is a pedo. Or one of these frightening western religious creeps, with 32 children and all the wives have to wear long gingham dresses and clomp-along shoes, and the homestead has never seen a gallon of paint or a bottle of Windex. Or both. 41 yo teacher, 16 yo bride? Texas creepy.
PS - if she’s old enough to get married, and does so with free will and parental consent, then shouldn’t ALL those “minor laws” go out the window? And we have to treat her as an adult, an “emancipated minor”? So let’s see her picture. Because I want to see what color gingham the bride wore.
hmmm - if the story seems strange, it’s always best to look for other sources ... nope, this one is also misleading, but in a different way.

Exit, pursued by a cop. A Houston-area drama teacher is retreating from the limelight in handcuffs after cops discovered he had married a 16-year-old girl in Las Vegas. Illich Auyapah Guardiola, 41, had made a name for himself as an English-language voice actor in Japanese anime films. But he aroused suspicions when he was caught in a car with the teenage girl during a a traffic violation stop in April.

Spring Valley Village police soon found out that Honduras-born Guardiola was a teacher who worked at several local acting schools and theaters. The teenager was one of his students at the Houston Family Arts Center, Click2Houston reports. An investigation into the illicit relationship revealed that the teacher had thoroughly seduced his underage victim. Court documents show that the teen sent a number of text messages to the older man, including one that read, “I love having sex with you.”

Maybe Texas, maybe all states should take a step back and compare their age of consent laws with their age of marriage laws. It would be pretty stupid if they didn’t line up.

I’m going back to bed:
:eyeroll: :eyeroll: innuendo much??You’re a Ram, baby Obama is just so proud and excited that one of his peoples got drafted. No wait, Obama is just so proud and excited that Michael Sam was drafted by the Rams, making him the first openly gay guy in pro football.

With the 249th overall pick in the seventh round of the 2014 NFL Draft, the St. Louis Rams made history and selected Sam.

Sam was a consensus All-American and the Southeastern Conference Defensive Player of the Year as a senior at Missouri.

That good, and yet he was 249th of 256? Sounds like there is still some resistance to the big gay push in football. Reeducation training camps, here we come!

President Barack Obama congratulated Michael Sam on Saturday for being the first openly gay football player taken in the National Football League draft, the White House said in a statement.

“From the playing field to the corporate boardroom, LGBT Americans prove everyday that you should be judged by what you do and not who you are,” Obama said. He also congratulated the NFL and the St. Louis Rams, the team that drafted Sam.

Sam, an All-American defensive end who played for the University of Missouri, made history when he was picked by the Rams in the seventh and final round. He was the 249th of 256 players selected.

The 24-year-old got the news by telephone from Rams’ coach Jeff Fisher, who told Sam: “You are a Ram. The wait is finally over.”

Are we ever going to run out of bullshit “firsts” for every damn group to pat themselves on the head for? Isn’t just a little tiresome at this point? Frankly, if I were Sam (if Sam I am?) I’d be rather humiliated to get that call. Oh, it doesn’t matter that he trained and practiced his whole life to make it to the pros. Doesn’t matter that he starred in college ball, made All-American, and even Player of the Year. Nope. All that matters is that he kisses boyz.

I ain’t going here either, because YOU KNEW IT WAS GOING TO HAPPEN:

Austrian bearded drag queen wins Eurovision song contest
Copenhagen (AFP) - Austria won this year’s Eurovision Song Contest early Sunday with “Rise Like a Phoenix” sung by bearded drag queen Conchita Wurst.

The 25-year-old performer, whose real name is Tom Neuwirth, took the Eurovision crown in Copenhagen despite initial expectations that the eye-catching performance would be too controversial in socially conservative countries.

“We are unity, and we are unstoppable,” she said after winning the glitzy competition with 290 points compared with 238 points for runner-up the Netherlands, in what Eurovision fans had anticipated would be a more closely fought race.

Since the contest was launched in 1956, voting has often been tied to politics and the 2014 event was no exception, with the audience jeering countries that announced giving points to Russia.

Yup, that’s our superior cousins over in Europe, being all sophisticated and all. The talent show is all about national politics, screw the talent. Unless the talent has a whole deck of Cards to play. Like gay Jesus here. Unity. Oh gag me. Like a phoenix. Torched for the very first time. Like a pee-eee-ee-nis. Oops, sorry, I meant fee-eee-ee-nix. Feel your heartbeat, next to mine.

the politically correct always seem to win the day. wish we could be rid of them.

Just another example of the pandering to groups, of accommodating, of backing down.

In this case, all it took was just one foreign born young student by the name of Mamusu.  Here’s a person who hasn’t a clue.
Racist?  The movie is racist and so cancel the original planned theme for the ball.

GWTW was never my favorite movie but hell, I recognise how well it was done, and never thought of Negroes, the correct term in use back then, in a negative light based on the movie.  I had other problems.  I hated seeing the depiction of Atlanta being burned by those (censored).

It was a movie of romance, which for me all those many years ago was a bit of a bore.
But I don’t recall slavery being romanticised, and slavery wasn’t the main focus of the movie. But try and explain that to the politically correct ppl with names like Mamusu and Yasmin Lawal.  And btw, that movie produced the first Oscar given to a black actress. It was a reflection of the times.  Anyway, if students don’t approve of the theme, why not simply avoid it?  Oh no. Can’t do that. Better to censor those who wouldn’t be ‘offended’ and easier too.

I had lots to say but .... best I don’t.  Had I a cooler head ...  yeah well, thing is I don’t.

Cambridge University college forced to drop ‘racist’ May Ball theme

A Cambridge University college has abandoned plans to hold a Gone with the Wind-inspired ball after complaints that the film is racist.

Officials at St Edmund’s College have admitted that the organising committee was forced to change the theme after concerns were raised about the Oscar-winning film.
Starring Clark Gable and Vivien Leigh, the 1939 film is famous for the romance between Rhett Butler and Scarlett O’Hara but it has also been widely criticised for its depiction of black people.

There is a high percentage of foreign students at the 19th-century college, with around two-thirds of the students coming from 60 countries.
Mamusu Kallon, who was born in Sierra Leone and is a student at St Edmund’s, said she was dismayed by the choice of theme for the ball.

“It is a film that glamorises the romantic dreams of a slave owner and a KKK member while rendering the horrors of slavery invisible,” she said.
“The black characters fulfil every derogatory racist stereotype of the ‘slave’ and black people continue to be subject to the modern-day versions of these stereotypes. Surely Cambridge University should not be perpetuating this?”

Last month, students at the college, which counts the Duke of Edinburgh as an honorary fellow, agreed to change the theme of the May Ball. A college spokesman said: “The committee initially selected the theme of Gone with the Wind, but then changed it to ‘Journey through the Seasons’ after concern was expressed by some of our students.

“The college felt that it would have only been necessary for it to intervene formally if the matter had not been resolved satisfactorily. The college supports the change of theme and is proud of its record of friendliness and cordiality.”

The row comes only a week after members of Cambridge’s Black and Minority Ethnic (BME) committee launched a campaign asking students to speak out about instances of discrimination. Yasmin Lawal, the president of the BME committee, stressed that the aim of the campaign was to raise awareness of the issues facing ethnic-minority students in Cambridge.

Ms Kallon, a third-year human, social and political science student, said that there were issues to be addressed.

“I think there is a serious gap between policy and practice, and a refusal to understand that racism is not just the N-word or explicit in nature.”

After the name change, organisers of the ball, for which tickets cost as much as £129, promised partygoers that they would “experience all four seasons in one memorable night”.
“Our college grounds will evoke fruitful autumn gardens, long midwinter nights, the early hours of spring and the fierce passion of midsummer,” they said.

if it isn’t april first, then this will be the dumbest thing you will read all year.

Well now ... when I said insanity in a post earlier today ... I did not have this in mind. First, who could possibly imagine this bit of total loony tunes?
I had not yet seen this one or I might have posted it first. Better late than never.

OK wait a minute.

Either this is a very early April 1st send up, or the tea at the kop shop has something illegal in it. Come on. This just can not be real.

Or .... can it?

Police ask the public to identify knife-wielding robber using THIS picture where his face is completely hidden then say they can’t call him a suspect because it would breach his HUMAN RIGHTS

image

· Dorset Police say naming man as suspect could impede ‘right to a fair trial’
· The man is shown on CCTV gripping a knife in bookies that was robbed
· Dorset residents poke fun at local force’s bizarre appeal

By Martin Robinson

With his face covered by a makeshift balaclava and a knife gripped in his right hand during a robbery at a bookmakers, it is probably safe to say this man is up to no good.

CCTV footage also shows him threatening a cashier at Ladbrokes in the east Dorset village of West Moors before making off with cash from the till.

But today the county’s over-cautious force refused to call him a suspect in the violent crime, in case it breaches his human rights.

And detectives have appealed for the public to help identify him - even though his face is impossible to see - and even hope he might come forward himself.

A force spokesman maintained today the man in the photos is not necessarily the robber, just ‘someone we want to talk to’ in connection with the attack.

This is because Dorset Police believe calling him a wanted man could impact on his ‘right to a fair trial’, and they say they would treat any person potentially involved in a crime in the same way.

They have also failed to issue a description of the robber, leaving out key details such as his height, build and accent.

Members of the public who are being asked to help name the offender took to internet message boards to poke fun at the appeal.

One wrote: ‘This has to be a wind up. Not sure what’s more laughable, the detective asking the man to contact him - errr do you really think that’s likely? - or the CCTV image showing a man with his face completely obscured from view?’

Detective Constable James Lee, the investigating officer, said: ‘I am now able to release CCTV images of the man I wish to speak with.

‘I urge the man pictured - and anyone who recognises him - to contact me, in confidence, as soon as possible.

‘I also would like to hear from anyone who saw this man enter or leave the premises around the time of the incident.’

When asked about the fact that the suspect’s face is hidden, a force spokesman said: ‘We are looking for people to identify the man, not just his face.

‘We are not suggesting the man in the pictures is the suspect, just someone we want to talk to.’

The spokesman confirmed that no arrests have been made in connection to the raid.

just another sign of our times

A very short story that says a heck of a lot about our times.

Councils these days have nothing better to do.

How the F.  did civilization ever advance this far using these very incorrect words?

Council bans ‘the elderly’: Staff booklet suggests using the term ‘older people’ instead

Rule was revealed in 31-page booklet for Denbighshire County Council staff

North Wales authority also says calling people ‘love’ or ‘pet’ can be offensive

TaxPayers’ Alliance: It’s a waste of time and pointless pontificating

By Daily Mail Reporter

Town Hall chiefs have banned staff from using the term ‘the elderly’ and suggested ‘older people’ as an alternative.

According to Respect, a 31-page booklet handed out to 5,000 employees at Denbighshire County Council in North Wales, the word elderly is an ‘unacceptable’ phrase.

Similarly, an office is not manned but staffed, dinner ladies should be referred to as catering staff, workmen are workers, headmaster is head teacher, chairman is chairperson and a child or youngster is a younger person.

The booklet, produced in Welsh and English, told staff: ‘We should not make assumptions based on someone’s age.

‘Being older in the UK carries views of being worn out and of little use, it is also used as a term of abuse.

‘Youth can be seen as representing inexperience and unreliability.’

It added: ‘The terms love, dear, pet may be considered offensive by some people, particularly women and should not be used.

‘We should always consider whether it is necessary or appropriate to use labels to describe people and we must be careful not to patronise people by undermining their individuality.

National stereotypes: Staff are told to avoid works like ‘Jock’ for Scottish. The guide says labels should be avoided and adds: ‘We must be careful not to patronise people by undermining their individuality’

‘Don’t say “some of my friends are gay,” “you’re just like one of the lads,” “I remember when I was young” or “you might not want to do that at your age”.

Also banned are Paddy or Mick for Irish, Jock for Scots and Taff for Welsh.

And instead of saying Christian name, staff should say ‘first name’ or forename.

Robert Oxley of the TaxPayers’ Alliance said: ‘Denbighshire council need to waste less time and less taxpayers’ money producing bureaucratic garbage and instead focus on providing services that residents and the elderly rely on… rather than this ridiculous taxpayer-funded pointless pontificating.

a sign of our times

A sign of the times.

Little boy age 6, suspended from school for 4 days.
Gee. Four days? Age 6?
What did the little monster do?  Stab someone?  Make a finger gun?

Ah … well. in fact neither.  Something far more serious actually.

He had some mini cheddar cheese bars in his lunch box.

That’s a crime?

Well, yes. Sort of.

It violates the schools healthy diet for kiddies dictum.

Hey …. rules is rules even if his parents gave it to him. And anyway, who the hell are the damn parents to tell the school or even to suggest to the school, what their little boy may eat at lunch.  One does not act that way in a proper politically correct culture where others, NOT the parents will decide what the kiddies may have in their lunch box.

Next stop ….. the home.  Right?  Of course.  Does no good to enforce healthy eats for kids only at school, so lets have an agency or maybe a school rep. go to homes at mealtime and see what junior is being fed.
Maybe even bring back the death penalty for parents who don’t follow the pc eating line.

Oh … btw.  Some cereal and candy makers are promising to lower sugar content in products, some drinks too, because of obesity worries in the population.
Not that they volunteered you understand, but pressure brought to bear and all that.

Here ya go. Look at this one.

Schoolboy, 6, suspended for having Mini Cheddars in his lunchbox

Metro News Reporter

The parents of a six-year-old boy have slammed his school after the child was suspended for having a packet of Mini Chedders in his lunchbox.

Senior staff at Colnbrook C of E primary school concluded that Riley Pearson should be kept away from lessons for four days for continuously contravening its healthy eating policy.

The school, which is located near Slough, had implemented a healthy eating policy from the beginning of the term, asking parents to provide a balanced meal. Chocolates, sweets, crisps and fizzy drinks were all banned.

However, after meeting with headteacher Jeremy Meek, Riley’s parents Natalie Mardle and Tom Pearson were told that they lacked support for the policy and had ‘continuously’ broken school rules.

Airport shuttle worker Ms Mardle, 24, told the Mail Online: ‘We just do not see how they have the right to tell us what we can feed our son.

‘If anything, Riley is underweight and could do with putting on a few pounds.

‘Having a balanced diet also includes eating some carbohydrates, sugars and fats.’

Riley’s lunch normally contained a sandwich, yogurt tube, Dairylea Dunkers cheese snack, Mini Chedders and a bottle of water.

Headteacher Mr Meek said: ‘We have had a wonderful response and the parents and children are on board and pleased with the way the policy has impacted on our pupils.

‘It is to avoid putting the children in a difficult situation. If the policy is not being abided by, then that potentially harms that pupil.’

There are no winners in this game. No losers either on points scored. just the children

I didn’t expect to be posting today, thought I’d be recuperating from an uncomfortable exam at the hosp. clinic.  But my fears were groundless and the lady who did the work was very good, and a credit to the Winchester hosp.  I have found a goodly number of extremely professional, caring, and friendly people here, in spite of the everyday bad news about incompetent practitioners in the NHS.  I don’t doubt there are many as there would be everywhere. But mostly the people I have encountered here are top drawer.

So, came back to house and attacked the fridge and brought food to table and started to read the following, losing my appetite in the process.

This is an old story in a remake of an older movie. In other words, although this bit of insanity has been reported before, and since not a lot has been written about it in awhile, I had no idea the monster was still alive.  My gosh how can reasonably well educated people in positions of authority, wallow in this bizarre and senseless thinking?  Here’s what I’m banging on about. Take a look.

How will youngsters learn about life if we don’t let them win (and lose) at games?

By Colin Dunne

The old boys with the crumpled ears, the knackered knees and the Mike Tindall noses will be weeping into their pints. Their game, rugby, which is possibly the last area of life where you can find Real Men, has finally been seized by the politically correct.

Surrey Rugby are insisting that their ‘mini rugby’ teams, for children aged six to 11, must be of mixed ability — no ‘A’ and ‘B’ squads here — and that any team that is winning too easily must be deliberately weakened by having better players moved elsewhere. There must be no overall winners in the junior league.

No winners? That’s right. Hence no losers either. Every game must be declared a draw. Difficult to strap your boots on with any enthusiasm for a game that has an unsatisfactory result before you even start.

You can imagine the muttering in club bars about how this, once the most manly of games, is going soft: ‘They’ll be wearing hard hats and hi-viz jackets next.’

You can see why they’re worried. Rugby has suffered some grievous blows in recent years. We old hands smiled scornfully when women and girls started playing. Then, most annoyingly, they turned out to be rather good at it.

Puritans rolled their eyes when children learning the game were encouraged to play ‘touch rugby’, which does not allow aggressively physical tackles, and then when ‘tag rugby’ was introduced, in which players have to pull a Velcro tag from the ball carrier — before playing it as a full contact sport.
And now this.

The idea behind Surrey Rugby’s new wheeze is presumably to save the kids from the psychological damage that might be caused by losing a Sunday morning game.

It’s the same thinking which lay behind the firing of Justin Byrne, an under-tens football coach in Buckinghamshire last month. Byrne appalled the boys’ parents by insisting that football was not about having fun and that he was ‘only interested in winning’.

The no-nonsense coach also said that parents who complained when their lad did not make the first team were ‘not doing their sons any favours’. Those who opposed him were ‘weak-minded’ and ‘think sport is about knitting’.

His draconian approach saw him fired four days after making the comments. Are we all going soft?

I used to coach mini-rugby and I can assure you that, in boys, the urge to win, run faster and bash harder than your mates is in the blood.

For many youngsters — and not just in rugby, but in football, cricket, pretty much any competitive sport — it’s as basic as breathing. And to try to curb a child’s natural exuberance on the playing field is, in my view, simply wrong.

Even if parents, teachers and coaches profess not to know who won and lost, who played well and who was rubbish, who scored and who didn’t, the children will know. And nothing will stop them saying so either. They like winning, and they enjoy having a little crow about it.

It is not right to disrupt the life of a criminal with a short prison sentence, say da judge. huh?

Sometimes you see things like this and say, oh. That’s gotta be a joke. But no.  This judge appears much concerned about disrupting the life of a criminal with short jail time. Ok. So what does he think long prison terms might do.
This is almost laughable and might be, if it came from a sit-com about a daffy left leaning jurist.  But it isn’t from a sit-com. And the guy is downright serious.

Short prison sentences don’t work as it ‘disrupts criminals’ home lives’, claims top judge

BRITAIN’S top judge provoked an outcry after claiming short prison terms are bad for criminals because they disrupt their home lives.

By: Louise Sassoon

Lord Neuberger, President of the Supreme Court, said a couple of months behind bars would have little deterrent impact on offenders.

In a statement likely to be seen as “soft” on crime, he explained that short sentences “can be disruptive” for prisoners’ personal lives and jobs.

He made his comments after visiting Holloway women’s prison in North London, where he also voiced concerns about cheap food and shared cells.
However, critics accused the judge of seeing things “entirely from the point of view of the criminal” and failing to consider the victims of crime.

Writing in the November issue of Independent Monitor, the magazine for prison monitoring boards, he said: “One message I took away was the highly questionable value of short sentences.
“The notion that a couple of months in prison will help bring a defendant to their senses has always had a real resonance for me.

“But, following my visit to Holloway, I have a very different perspective. A short prison sentence can be disruptive for the prisoner’s job, home, etc. Other impressions included concern that most prisoners were required to share a cell; astonishment that prisoners could be fed sensibly for under £2 a day.”

Tory MP Douglas Carswell said disrupting the life of the criminal is “the ruddy idea” of prison.

He added: “Your honour, in my constituency there are people who would say that if short sentences are a problem, just make them longer.”
Peter Cuthbertson, director of the Centre for Crime Prevention, said short sentences were effective and “can give communities a respite from hardened criminals”.

A Supreme Court spokesman said Lord Neuberger was “simply reporting informal conversations he had with probation officers and other prison staff” during a July visit and “his reflections of their views on short-term sentences are in no way intended as official statements of sentencing policy”.

a fight for women’s rights ….  this time … the targets are train drivers and kiddie cartoon

Too often I see examples of people with too much free time, who have as their sole entertainment, the screwing up of the language and making up, a down thing and down, whatever else they want it to be.
When they have a break in this arduous schedule they look for people they can represent who have been wronged, even when they don’t know or believe they have been.  Here’s a perfect example of just how sexist our culture has become over time, even with feminism and human rights and civil rights being legislated to the degree that nowadays, almost anything anyone says to anyone else, may be taken in such a way as to suggest racism, ageism, sexism and anything old thing you can dream up.

Why aren’t there more female train drivers?  You people never give that any thought.  Do you?  Of course you don’t.
You’re probably uncaring about women’s issues and might be a misogynist.
Have you taken notice btw, of how often that last word pops up in our media, mouthed most often by ppl on the left?  All one has to do is disagree with some feminnazi on any issue and you are ipso facto, a misogynist.
Try living that one down.

So back to trains and drivers and women.  I have no idea of how many ladies there are who surf by this site, but would dearly love to know how many had as a lifelong dream, the idea of being a train driver.  Btw … there actually are a few.  And it matters greatly to a woman named Mary Creagh.
Ms Mary is quite put out that there are so few and even worse, the train driver industry, which is far smaller than the civil rights industry, hasn’t enough train drivers.  And whose fault is that?  Who must answer now to this outrage?  Why …..  this guy.

THOMAS THE TANK ENGINE
that’s who.  And he’s been at this nefarious deed for many years you bet.  That’s right!

H/T Intl. Business Times

Thomas the Tank Engine is Sexist, Says Labour MP Mary Creagh

image

Classic children’s show ‘to blame for lack of female train drivers in Britain’

By Dominic Gover

A Labour politician has launched an attack on the children’s classic Thomas the Tank Engine with a broadside against the TV show’s portrayal of “female” locomotives.
Mary Creagh blamed the programme, which is based on the series of stories and books written in the 1940s by Rev W Awdry and his son, for a lack of female train drivers in Britain.
Thomas and his steam-powered friends have being chugging around Sodor on television since 1982, but only one of the main cast of engines is female.
Creagh, who is shadow transport secretary, called “a national scandal” figures that revealed that only 4.2% of train drivers in the UK were women. She laid in to Thomas the Tank Engine for allegedly pumping out the wrong message to young girls.
According to Creagh, the female characters in the show are an “annoyance” that posed a hazard to other characters on the show.
She said: “In the Thomas the Tank Engine books there are almost no female engines. The only female characters are an annoyance, a nuisance and in some cases a danger to the functioning of the railway.
“There is a preponderance of men in the transport industry and I am very keen to unpack some of the myths that stop women from taking up what are often highly paid and highly skilled jobs.”
Creagh hailed changes made by the television industry to redress the balance of male to female characters with shows such as Underground Ernie, but insisted that more had to be done.
“There have been some changes. Underground Ernie is wonderful, and there are some female trains in that. But again it is called Underground Ernie, not Underground Rosie.”
A spokeswoman at Hit Entertainment, which owns the rights to Thomas the Tank Engine, said that creators were developing new female characters to bring to the show.

-30-

The problem if there really is one, is that overall, women have other interests generally.  Sure, there may be lots and lots of women who enjoy fishing and hunting.  But overall, it seems more males gravitate to those activities. So the numbers will be smaller among the female population.  But has anyone had their rights abused or ignored because maybe, and I don’t even know, there’s some kind of conspiracy among men to deny even more women the joys of fly and tackle and gun?  Is there a conspiracy of some kind to keep train drivers a club for men only?

Oh … btw.  Did you pay any particular attention to her line in which she says,

“but insisted that more had to be done.” Sure thing.  They (libtard left) always “insist” that more of their left wing all is equal agenda be met and always on their terms.  And just about every time, smarter people cave in to them.  Cos if not, then they are fascists, bigots, racists and misogynists and more.  Simply add an ism and it becomes an anti social and fascist thing or person.
