How To Stop Depression

Being gone for a week with virtually no access to news caused me some pretty serious withdrawal difficulties.

Then I get home and all the news seems depressing and I start getting depressed because of it.

But you know what cheers me up?

Knowing that two weeks ago Fuckface lost the election and that George Bush is still President.  And that Condi Rice will be Secretary of State (none DARE vote against her!) And that she could very well be President in 2016.  Now THAT’S news to get happy about.

Hmmmmmm, I wonder if they could “bottle” that emotion...................

All we need now is for the President to leave the Secretary of Education slot open for 4 years.....hell, it can’t be any worse than it is now, can it?

Back Home Again!

WHEW!!  Finally made it back.  Had a great visit with friends, saw the “BIG HOLE”, lost a little money (really, just a little!) in Sin City, and overall, had a great time.

Right now I am going through emails and trying to catch up on snail mail plus run a few errands.

Will write more about the adventure and post a few pix later (after I go through the 5 rolls of regular film and the 300 plus digital images.)

Can It Be?

Remember the hot chick who flashed the polling station in Louisiana? If not click here.

Now, get ready .... she just got in contact with me via e-mail. No, I can’t tell you the details .... I’m a gentleman. Alright, quit snickering out there.

What will happen to the BMEWS Secretary Of War? Will he succumb to the allure of this fabulously beautiful woman? Will he convince this woman he is actually not as bad as he sounds? Will Louisiana woman and Alabama man meet up? Will the BMEWS Secretary Of War remember where that ad for viagra was in his e-mails? Stay tuned ....

Whooo-hoooooooooo .....  tongue rolleye

T.T.F.N.

I will be gone for a few days (off to Vegas, Grand Canyon, etc.) and have left the Empire in the very capable hands of the Secretary of War, now temporarily promoted to Benevolent Dictator for the next 7 days.

He is free to make appointments to his cabinet as he sees fit.  He’s also assured me he will not engage in palace coups (but I am not confident of that assurance and suspect freedom fighters are already in place awaiting my departure.)

So, behave.  All of you.  I have spies everywhere!!!!!!

So……….Where To Now?

Our long term readers have seen the direction this blog headed basically from day one---to defeat The Poodle.  We did it with articles and commentary detailing his unfitness to serve and we also pointed out the complicit and overt “bed-down” the media did with him and the DNC.

Well, it’s now over and Fuckface is probably licking his balls in some corner of his private jet or yacht.  Hey, kicks in the balls hurt and he got a good one November 2nd.

“So, now what?” you may be wondering.

Well, for my part I am dedicating my efforts to exposing The Hildabeast (new nicknames for her are always welcome!) for what she is: an opportunisitic political pig leading Billy-boy by HIS balls as he carries her water and dreams of further trysts in White House closets.

I am also going to try and concentrate on Illegal aliens and our immigration policy.  Another hot-button for me is homosexual marriage.  That’s a no-go and Congress should make sure it passes. (if you disagree, let me know.)

Those are the three biggees.

I may delve into investment info.  NOT ADVICE!!!!!!  Just one of those, “hmmmm, what are the tea leaves saying and what are investors doing?” Still not sure if I want to do that.  Any “experts” out there who care to chime in?

I do not think we need to worry about anyone now taking our guns away so that will not factor too largely.

Can you think of something you’d like to see get more coverage?

Let us know.

We also welcome your emails with “tips” for stories.  Sometimes you get to them before we do.  if so, we credit you.  If we don’t it’s because it was already in our “stack of stuff.” Please include links, though, for anything you send.

If you have “guest posts” we welcome them, too!

We Got Us A Birthday Gal Again!

I don’t want to get into the habit of doing this every time someone has a birthday but I gotta do this one because she reminded us so therefore she will have to deal with the laurels AND the darts flung her way.  (hehehehe)

Today is The Annoying Little Twerp’s (AKA Barb or Molly Marine) birthday.

Wish her a great one in your own special way!

Barb, Happy Birthday! Have an awesome day and treat yourself to something you enjoy while surrounding yourself with family and friends.  May you have many more anniversaries!

Hang On!!!

Hey, I’m working as fast as 4 fingers allow me to type, spell-check, re-write, re-check, etc.

I promise that by 6:30 AM tomorrow I will have it out there.

Thanks for your patience!!!

Your “now-wowwed” and awestruck Benevolent Dictator

Don’t Forget!!!

Yesterday I posted this entry dealing with one of our younger readers, Jen, who is in basic training (not “boot camp” which is for Marines and Navy guys) and will be celebrating her birthday on the 12th.

Click on the link above, send her a comment or better yet, grab her address and send her a card.

Basic training can be a lonely place and I am sure she’ll appreciate hearing from the folks who frequent this site!

NOW HEAR THIS!!!!!!!

We at BMEWS are pleased to announce that Jen, one of own “Little Moonbat Mascots,” is currently in boot camp and about to celebrate her 20th birthday on the 12th of this month.  For those of you who have ever been to boot camp then you will know it can be a lonely place to celebrate a birthday given that friendships are not easily entered into.

So what do we want you to do?

Send her a birthday card!!!!!!  Or leave a comment here and the Annoying Little Twerp in Chicago (Barb) will print the page with this little post AND all your comments and then mail them to Jen.

So, in order to give you some possible common ground with our Jen, here is some biographical info provided by her friend, Barb.

Her name is Jennifer Leah Clark. She’s from a two parent family. She has a younger sister named Roberta-who thinks we’re both psycho. She’s got 3 cats and a “poigle"- a beagle/pointer mix.

She’s employed by UPS, She wants to teach in a private school. She belongs to a Lutheran denomination so small that services are held in a closet (Sorry Jen) She lives in the Chicago “SouthLand"(as do I)

She does “45” on the expressway.

She has a MAJOR crush on Frank at IMAO (don’t tell Sarah K.)

She’s U2’s biggest fan.

She LOVES the Cubs and wishes destruction upon the White Sox and the Yankee’s!  (comment from Vilmar:  watch it there, Jen.  You’re walking a fine line hating my Yankees!!  hehehe)

Jen is bright and fun and quirky and stubborn and down to earth and very passionate and totally unique (run-on intentional)

Jen has a strong love of God, and country.  She loves what the US is and hates those that want to destroy it. She also believes that freedom isn’t free. She joined the military for that reason. She’s been so blessed by being part of this great Nation, and she wants to give something back. She supports Israel too.

Did I mention that she has excellent taste in best friends too.

Remember, she has no idea we are doing this so it will be a surprise to her.

Here’s the address:

Pvt. Clark, Jennifer
Company C, 323rd/Mad Dawgs 1st Platoon
2340 Magruder Ave.
Ft. Jackson, SC 29207

Here’s a picture of her with her best pal, Barb.  Jen’s on the left.

Don’t let us down---get to writing!!!!!

Exhaustion

One more brutal day in the high-tech field. I had to get up in the wee hours of the morning (as you can see from my earlier posts today), get cleaned up and drive down to Birmingham for a technology workshop at the Mariott Convention Center. Imagine a three hour drive in fog and pitch dark ending up in rush hour traffic, then spending eight hours watching slide shows and demos, and taking copious notes while one presenter after another droned on for hour after hour after hour after .... Then a three hour drive back home.

The Mariott put on a really cool spread for lunch but they always do a good job at that. Great service.

For now though, the brain is gone and the body isn’t far behind. I’m about to go crack a bottle of Johnny Walker Black and throw a steak on the barby.

More Moonbat-Bashing later tonight ....

P.S. Yes, computer geeks get paid very well but they wring every cents worth out of you in each 60-80 hour work week. Then the government comes along and takes half of your pay .... because they can. You have been warned.

A Slow Day

Things will be a bit slow at BMEWS this weekend.  Allan went south to stay with family and I will be out with my sister and her husband who came down from New England to visit us.

I will try and post stuff early AM and late PM depending on activities scheduled.

It’s Been A Long Week

Yeah, I’m back from the hurricane-ravaged areas of South Alabama. Finally. For the record, I have several hundred members of my extended family in LA (Lower Alabama) and the Florida Panhandle. Several of them are staying with me this weekend just to get a hot bath and hot food. I’ve got bruises all over my arms and legs from wrestling tree limbs off of roads (and houses). I’m exhausted but I feel good. Helping family and friends is its own reward. It’s too bad Liberals and Democraps don’t feel like doing these kinds of good deeds. They’d rather pass the responsibility off to the government and tax you and me to pay for it. If you REALLY want to understand the difference between Liberals and Conservatives, there you have it. Liberals tend to be self-centered, unreliable, slackers who think government is the answer to everything. In the world I live in, government is the last place we look for when we need help. We rely on each other and our families and friends first. After all, that is what made this country great in the first place wasn’t it?

What are my relatives biggest concern right now? How will Alabama do against Arkansas tomorrow after the Tide lost Brodie Croyle, Bama’s starting quarterback last weekend to a season-ending injury. You gotta love these folks.

Headin’ Out

Allan here. I’m loaded up and about to leave, headed south on I-65. I have $100 woth of bottled water and $100 worth of ice that I need to get moving with. I intend to give it all away to family members who are still without power and to anyone else who needs it. I’ll be back Friday, gang. As Vilmar told you earlier today, I finally found my son late last night and he’s OK. So far, all of my family has reported in without injuries or deaths. I’ll have more on the destruction when I return.

For right now, I want to leave a message for Dan Rather: “Dan, read this! Take heed! I expect you to do the right thing!”

As Promised

Between feeling quite sick, working on the yard, catching up on correspondence, and all other kinds of stuff associated with a return form several days’ absence, I finally got around to going through the almost 300 pictures my son burned on CD for me.

So here are a couple of pictures of the sweet little doll, Trinity.  (OK, I’m in one, too!  But she’s infinitely cuter.)

Not that very many people ever read this far down, but this blog was the creation of Allan Kelly and his friend Vilmar. Vilmar moved on to his own blog some time ago, and Allan ran this place alone until his sudden and unexpected death partway through 2006. We all miss him. A lot. Even though he is gone this site will always still be more than a little bit his. We who are left to carry on the BMEWS tradition owe him a great debt of gratitude, and we hope to be able to pay that back by following his last advice to us all:
  1. Keep a firm grasp of Right and Wrong
  2. Stay involved with government on every level and don't let those bastards get away with a thing
  3. Use every legal means to defend yourself in the event of real internal trouble, and, most importantly:
  4. Keep talking to each other, whether here or elsewhere
It's been a long strange trip without you Skipper, but thanks for pointing us in the right direction and giving us a swift kick in the behind to get us going. Keep lookin' down on us, will ya? Thanks.

Oh, and here's some kind of visitor flag counter thingy. Hey, all the cool blogs have one, so I should too. The Visitors Online thingy up at the top doesn't count anything, but it looks neat. It had better, since I paid actual money for it.
