Leftist Distortions of Our Vocabulary
Thomas Sowell, as usual, writes another brilliant piece about an issue near and dear to my heart---the distortion of the American language to accommodate leftists.He gives example after example of how the left has taken terms we were used to using and distorts them in such a way that it has changed how we feel about what those words used to represent.
To his list I would add:
"investment" for taxes
"freedom fighter or insurgent" for terrorist (a favorite of Reuters)
"gay" for homosexual (someone please explain to me just what the fuck is so "gay" about being homosexual? Do we see them parading around dancing and laughing all the time? What a nasty distortion of what used to be a good word.) We need to get that one back. For my part I refuse to use the word in general conversation only doing do to illustrate my point (as above)
And another one?
"partner." FUCK! I can't use that term anymore to discuss someone in a business deal or sporting activity without someone thinking I've gone queer and am shacking up with Liberace, Barney Frank or Elton John.
Y'all got any more?
UPDATE: add 2 to the list "Undocumented Alien" for illegal alien and "rainbows" to represent homosexuals
I'm still considering the rest but most stand for what they really mean and did not supplant any other term we used to use (i.e. sanitation engineer for garbageman)

Spy Games
President Bush yesterday announced the nomination of Porter Goss to head the CIA. Porter Goss is currently a Congressman (R-FL) and head of the House Intelligence Committee. He is also a former CIA field agent.AP just reported on his nomination with the following headline "CIA Pick Goss Faces Tough Confirmation".
Hmmmm. Interesting headline, eh? Go back and read the first paragraph above. Goss is (1) head of the Congressional Committee that oversees intelligence and (2) is a former CIA field agent. You would think that would make him the most qualified man in the country to head the CIA, right?
Wrong! The Democrats are up in arms because (1) he is a Republican and (2) he is from Florida. They are accusing President Bush of (a) being partisan by selecting a Republican and (b) trying to make sure he gets Florida's electoral votes in November.
Have you ever heard such blatant, partisan, political bullshit? Here is what Nancy Pelosi had to say:
"You must keep the politics out of intelligence," said House Democratic leader Nancy Pelosi of California. "I'm not sure that has been done here."Why not, Nancy? You and your party have made damn sure that intelligence is being kept out of politics, why not vice versa? Finally, Senator Jay Rockefeller (D-WV) had this insanely stupid statement:
"The selection of a politician — any politician from either party — is a mistake," said Sen. Jay Rockefeller of West Virginia, the ranking Democrat on the Senate Intelligence Committee. "Having independent, objective intelligence going to the president and the Congress is fundamental to America's national security."Need I remind Senator Rockefeller that the CIA Headquarters in Langley is named "The George H. W. Bush Center"? That it is named after a fine head of CIA who was a congressman before before nominated to the post of DCI? That he did a fine job as head of CIA and later became Vice President and eventually President .... without damaging the CIA, the country or practicing partisan politics while he was DCI?
Democrats are also saying President Bush should wait until after the November elections to allow the next president to appoint the DCI. Well, let's think about that for a minute. John Kerry has already made statements that the President should not drag his feet on the findings of the 9/11 Commission and that if he were President, he would act on it right away. So it looks like the Democrats are actually just trying to box President Bush in. They don't want to rush into getting a new head of CIA but will pillory Bush if he doesn't move quickly.
Once again, folks .... pay attention to the bullshit games going on from the Democrats. There's not an honest man or woman in the bunch. And they sure don't know jack shit about intelligence, having none of their own.

How to Spot a Democrat
If ever you wanted to get a true measure of a Democrat and to better understand the way they think, read these two pieces by Dennis Prager.The first one discusses his observations of Dummycrap reaction to a 12 year old girl pontificating about how poorly a job Dick Cheney performs as Vice President. Mr. Prager basically states the following:
(that Democrats) frequently treat and regard children as adults and frequently treat and regard adults as children.
(that) liberals do not generally want children to call adults "Mr." or "Mrs." Such titles render adults distinct from children.
(that) liberal teachers often dress and talk similarly to their students and ask to be called by their first names.
(that) liberals led the fight to lower the voting age to 18 and why California Democrats are now seeking to lower it further (as low as 14).
(that) liberal educators worked to enable students to design college curricula.
(that) liberals don't worry about protecting children's innocence as much as conservatives do.
(that) the politicization of children is no more a problem to most Democrats and liberals than is children's sexualization.
and finally,
(that liberals) don't worry about protecting children's innocence as much as conservatives do. The early sexualization of children is therefore not a problem to liberal educators.
The bombshell was this one:
Of course, this girl has accomplished nothing compared to Dick Cheney. She has no wisdom, no humility and no knowledge beyond the leftist platitudes spoon-fed by her parents and schools. She is a mere child, more foolish than most, in that she actually thinks she has earned the right to publicly ridicule the vice president of the United States. The Democratic Party is as shameless as it is immature.
In a follow-up article he goes on to describe the range and nature of the "hate email " he received from those self-same Dummycraps.
Basically it boiled down to people telling him to go fuck himself, that he was pathetic for picking on a little girl, and to blow it out his ass. Nice, eh?
He blasts back at his critics with these gems:
why should a 12-year-old girl be immune from adult criticism? Because of her age? This objection is staggering in its inversion of traditional wisdom, which held that it is 12-year-olds who generally need to hold their tongues before they criticize, let alone ridicule, an adult; and that it is adults' role to criticize the young so as to make them responsible adults.
note the double standard invoked here. A 12-year-old girl should be invited to speak at a national political convention and be taken seriously when she speaks -- but criticizing her is out of bounds because she is 12! This line of thinking reinforced my contention that the Democrats hid behind a 12-year-old girl because they did not have the courage to attack Vice President Cheney themselves. (emphasis mine)
He then also says,
In the feminist world in which liberals live, liberal girls and women of any age are immune from criticism, especially from men.
And the coup de grace:
Childhood is the time to be a child and to be imbued with the values that will enable one to be a politically wise adult. I have enormous interest in speaking with children, but I have little interest in their political views.

Well, it seems we've made our mark on the Leftists. Which really saddens me (NOT).The blog site Communists For Kerry has added us to their banned links list.
We are described as "Underground non-Progressive anti-Propaganda Machine".
I'm not sure if the site is a satire or for real. Somebody help me figure this out before I go over there and blow those guys' shit away into the next universe. If they're for real, I plan on slapping a "Rambo" on their ass.
Update: These guys are on the good guys team. Check out the "How To Become A True Bolshevik" post at their site. I think the Commisar at Poltiburo Diktat would approve. We also approve. It's a thoroughly enjoyable satire. I've added them to our blogroll.

Remember that post about how some moonbats in Congress had asked the United Nations to intervene and be observers in our election process come November?Well, they got shot down so the lead bitch for this attempt, Eddie Bernice Johnson, (TX-D, of course), wrote a letter to the Secretary of State asking for observers.
Guess what? They're being allowed in!!!

As you all know by now, Jack Ryan dropped out of the race for Senator from Illinois after allegations of sexual weirdness between him and his wife. The Democrats responded by promoting Barack Obama at their national convention last month as their "newest rising star". The Dummycraps are hoping to grab the Senate seat. Obama seemed like a very articulate speaker but he touts the usual Liberal party line.Now, Republicans have made their move in this game. They have convinced Maryland resident Alan Keyes to run for the Senate seat in Illinois. Keyes ran for President in the last two elections and in 2000 was virtually ignored by Republicans. I listened to Keyes speak in the debates in 2000 and I've read several of his editorials at WorldNet Daily. Make no mistake, Keyes is one of the smartest men on the planet.
Keyes is also black as is his opponent, Obama. So the Republicans have made their counter-move in this deadly game for control of the Senate.
Keyes' web site has some very good links on his race here. Make no mistake, this race is as important as the Presidential race. Check out Keyes' web site and help if you can.
Note: Also from Illinois, the Cubs are currently leading the "Wild Card Division". Don't give up hopes yet, Cubs fans!

Vietnam Vets against John F**KING Kerry are running an ad that disputes The Poodle's assertions as to what he did in Vietnam.So what's the Democratic National Committee response? To send out their lawyers (a la Florida in November 2000) to intimidate radio and TV stations from running the ads.
And then The Poodle has the balls to say this to a bunch of left wing minority journalist in DC:
"Had I been reading to children and had my top aide whisper in my ear that America is under attack, I would have told those kids very nicely and politely that the president of the United States has something that he needs to attend to"
Yeah, John, you'd just stop everything and panic people with your abrupt departure without receiving confirmation of what was truly going on. Brilliant, asshole!
I am so fucking mad I can't verbalize all my thoughts. Pity any liberal son of a bitch coming near me defending that scumbag Kerry. I would be prone to commit acts of terminal violence.

A Little About John Edwards
Looks like we have another bottom feeding, scum sucking weasel in the cheesepile. I wonder how long it will be before the mediaBack on Feb. 6, 2003, in an interview with John Edwards on Hardball w/Chris Matthews, the following exchange took place:
MATTHEWS: Would you go it alone in a war against Iraq if the U.N. finally decides not to back us? If the French, the Russians or the Chinese veto us, would you still go ahead and fight this war as the president seems to be heading to doing?
EDWARDS: I would go forward with the allies that we have with us, yes.
MATTHEWS: You'd go without the U.N.?
EDWARDS: Yes.
MATTHEWS: What's he doing wrong?
EDWARDS: With respect to Iraq specifically?
MATTHEWS: Yes.
EDWARDS: I think he's doing the right thing now with respect to Iraq. I think the secretary of state made the case eloquently yesterday at the United Nations. I think Saddam Hussein is a serious threat. He started a war, actually started two wars, he agreed to disarm, it's the only reason he's still in power. He's not disarmed, the evidence is overwhelming. You know this -- I spent a lot of time, as you know, in courtrooms. This is a powerful case and an easy case to make. This guy has to be disarmed. He cannot be allowed to get nuclear capability...
MATTHEWS: Right.
EDWARDS: ... and it requires military action, we should be willing to take military action.
MATTHEWS: So are you ready to go now to war? Have you got enough evidence as a senator from the United States, from this state, do you have enough evidence to support the United States going it alone right now, Iraq?
EDWARDS: Going forward with the allies who will support us, yes.
MATTHEWS: The war with Iraq?
EDWARDS: Yes, if we have -- this man has to be disarmed. If he doesn't do something to start disarming, then, yes we have to disarm him, and we should be willing to do it militarily.
MATTHEWS: OK, are you willing to take responsibility for all that entails?
EDWARDS: Yes.
Compare this to John Edwards' statement at his first joint campaign appearance with John Kerry:
"When John Kerry is president of the United States, no young American will ever go to war needlessly because America has decided to go it alone."
"The truth is, we, America - we need a president that will lead the world, not bully it."

I Know Michael Moore
I know Michael Moore. I grew up with him .... or someone just like him.Remember the kid who never got chosen by any team to play baseball or basketball? The kid who sat on the sidelines and alternated between whining over not being chosen to play and yelling encouragement to both teams with words that never made sense? He wasn't smart enough to get in the Math Club or the Chess Club. He wasn't athletic enough to make any of the high school teams. Hell, he even flunked out of the Band audition because he couldn't grasp the fact that music is supposed to sound pleasant.
He had loser written all over him. Occasionally, some wise-ass pinned a "kick me" sign on his back while going down the hall .... and the stoopid f**k left it on after he found it because people seemed to be paying attention to him finally.
He was usually first to stick up his hand in answer to a question from teacher .... and he always gave the wrong answer. Then he tried to argue with the teacher to prove he was actually right. Until some cute girl sitting next to him leaned over and whispered "shut the f**k up, you useless dildo". She went on to become Homecoming Queen and he went to the Prom with his sister.
You know who I'm talking about. All of you went to school with the same creep. Or one just like him.
Well, guess what? The prick managed to survive high school and grew up and migrated to the Left Coast where he figured out how to suck up to all "the right people" and to tell people exaclty what they wanted to hear. He ate himself into a size 56 waist because of his exaggerated ego and suppressed conscience. He encountered a butt-ugly woman who was the female version of himself in high school. She flattered his ego and before you can say "OHMIGAWD" they were married. Pray that at least one of them is sterile.
His school ignorance and bruised, battered ego have grown up and made connections with pure assholes who know how to flatter him and use him to get what they want. He is happy in his own little universe. He can never be wrong and everyone who disagrees with him is just a reminder of the kids in high school who shunned him. He hates them all with a vitriolic hatred and he will only be satisfied when he has managed to cause them to feel the same pain he feels they inflicted on him in adolescence. He is a walking neurotic and dangerous only to the extent that he can make people miserable through lies and distortions. Remember, he knows he is never wrong.
Do you know this creep? I do. I remember him from high school. I never wanted him on my team either.
I challenge anyone in Flint, Michigan who went to high school with Michael Moron to tell me different. I'm waiting ....
