Unexpected News!

Justice Department Will NOT prosecute Holder

Well, no shit. What were they going to do, report him to the Attorney General?

The Justice Department moved Friday to shield Attorney General Eric Holder from prosecution after the House voted to hold him in contempt of Congress.

The contempt vote technically opened the door for the House to call on the U.S. attorney for the District of Columbia to bring the case before a grand jury. But because U.S. Attorney Ronald Machen works for Holder and because President Obama has already asserted executive privilege over the documents in question, some expected Holder’s Justice Department to balk.

Deputy Attorney General James Cole confirmed in a letter to House Speaker John Boehner that the department in fact would not pursue prosecution. The attorney general’s withholding of documents pertaining to Operation Fast and Furious, he wrote, “does not constitute a crime.”

There you go folks. The Top Cop is ABOVE THE LAW.

So, now that the Legislative Branch has stripped all power from the States, and the Judicial Branch has stripped all rights from the People, we are seeing that the Executive Branch can act with absolute impunity against the Legislative Branch. How’s that for tyranny?

Instead of criminal prosecution, our spineless Republicans are going to take the civil court approach, which is nearly guaranteed to fail. Smoke and mirrors.

Republicans technically have a handful of other options if the Justice Department still refused to take the case to a grand jury.

Republicans could move to appoint a special prosecutor or even move to impeach. The last time that happened with a Cabinet member, though, was in 1876—with the impeachment trial of war secretary William Belknap.

Hill said lawmakers are not looking at that option for Holder. They remain focused on the civil court route.

To my surprise, it turns out that Congress does actually have to power to arrest people, although they have very rarely exercised that power. Not once in the last 75 years. This is under the rule of Inherent Contempt.

the process, known as inherent contempt, is well-established by precedent, has been confirmed by multiple Supreme Court rulings, and is available to any Congress willing to force such a confrontation.

“The House is scared to death to use the inherent contempt power,” said Mort Rosenberg, a fellow at the Constitution Project and author of “When Congress Comes Calling.” “They’re scared to death because the courts have said … the way the contempt power is used is unseemly. It’s not that it’s unconstitutional, because it’s been upheld by four Supreme Court decisions, but unseemly to have somebody go arrest the attorney general.”

That’s why it’s been more than 75 years since either chamber has used the option ...

So, do you think they will do it? Hella No!! The flacid phallus in charge, crybaby John Boner Boehner has already broken this one remaining arrow in the Legislature’s quiver.

Republicans say it’s not even under consideration, with House Speaker John A. Boehner’s spokesman flatly ruling it out.

So what is the bottom line? The bottom line is that a solid year’s worth of investigating one of the most onerous acts every perpetrated by the federal government was never more than just smoke and mirrors. A sideshow to keep the Conservative Masses happy. Nothing more. Because when push comes to shove, and it’s time to firmly thrust, the Boehner remains flaccid. It wouldn’t look classy if they did what needed to be done, so this highest of high crimes and misdemeanors will go unpunished.

Fuck, even Bob Dole has his Viagra.

Once again you have been sold out by the Republicans in DC. The spineless party, so afraid of looking bad that they won’t prosecute murder or an overt act of war.

more aid for poor africans insists bone head bono and libtard friends

And of course, the Brits are by no means playing the Lone Ranger here.
The white feel good thing and the guilt trip extends to other countries as well.
I clearly remember all the calls for African aid as young as the age of 14 or maybe 15.  Help the poor starving Africans, we were all told.
Sure thing. How about teaching them about something called birth control first?  Africans? Birth control?  Bite your tongue. No such thing.
So they over breed as is their nature, and produce more hungry mouths to feed and less resource to do so.  Meanwhile, back at the farm in a place where a mug named Robert Mugabe rules, white farmers have been driven from their homes and farms which have been given to, “the people” who’ve managed to produce more offspring but little else.

Let Africa sink, as Kim once wrote on an old retired blog.

But no.  Self important jerks like that has been Bono, insist that Western countries must spend tax dollars (and pounds) on yet more aid.

Well readers ..... PLEASE see this entire article at the link.

How your money is being squandered: The African village where EVERY family is getting £7,500 from the British taxpayer

By IAN BIRRELL

As I drew up in the bustling village after a long journey, the last 21 miles bouncing along a red dirt track riven with potholes, a group of a dozen men sprawled in the shade on ramshackle wooden benches waved me over.

They were farmers, resting after a hard day’s labour. Children scampered around alongside goats munching weeds, while women stirred bubbling pots outside family compounds made up of circular mud huts.

Even in this remote part of northern Ghana, the influence of British football could be seen with the presence of the odd Chelsea shirt.

My translator, introducing me in the local Mampruli language, explained I came from the nation that was home to the famous team.

The farmers of this settlement, called Kpasenkpe, were not surprised to see me: ‘There have been a lot of white people coming here recently,’ said Atta Kojo, 32. ‘I think they were experts in health and education, but they never told us what they were doing. We did not understand why they were here.’

n fact, their visitors included the rock star Bono, who was there in January, together with Jeffrey Sachs, a ‘celebrity’ economist who hangs out with the likes of Angelina Jolie and Bill Clinton. Bono and Sachs are two of the world’s leading cheerleaders for international aid.

The reason they visited — with the editor of liberal newspaper the Observer in tow — was to announce that Kpasenkpe had been chosen as their next Millennium Village.

‘You are going to see an improvement in the lives of your people,’ proclaimed Sachs in his usual messianic style.

He promised cheering villagers that in five years they would see incomes increase, farming improve and better schools and health care.

This UN-backed Millennium Village project — to which Britain is now contributing millions of pounds for the first time — began in 2004 and encompasses half a million Africans.

It is designed to prove that targeted aid can lift such places out of poverty in just five years. But the scheme is facing mounting accusations that it is a waste of money, and is doing less to help rural Africans than it claims.

According to the project’s documents, the business plan reveals ‘total direct costs’ are expected to be £17.2 million and that the goal is ‘substantial poverty reduction’ for up to 2,250 households.

This means spending more than an astonishing £7,500 per household. To put this in perspective, this is 34 times the average annual income of households in the region.

The British Government — desperate to find ways to spend its soaring aid budgets — is handing over £11.5 million to this vainglorious venture.

Despite the austerity weighing on British families at home, spending on foreign aid — currently £8.8 billion a year — is rising by more than one-third under the Coalition.

Indeed, last Sunday International Development Secretary Andrew Mitchell insisted they will enshrine in law the target of giving 0.7 per cent of our national income to global aid.

In this savannah region of Ghana, life is undoubtedly a struggle and many seemed delighted by such generosity from Britain.

‘We do not know why they have chosen us, but we are very lucky,’ said Babu Yakubu, a 30-year-old farmer with two wives and four children.

In Nabari, another village also set to be deluged with our aid, people were amazed to hear foreigners were spending so much on them.

‘We are poor people,’ said Sule Mantable, 38, a father of four. ‘These are huge amounts of money.’
But like others, he is sceptical it will change their lives. ‘It sounds a good idea but we don’t believe it will work,’ he said.

‘We have heard before all these promises of money for electricity, schools, hospitals and roads. Nothing ever happened.

‘Even if the money does flow from your country, it will end up in the pockets of corrupt people and politicians. We will not see any spent on our infrastructure or in our pockets.’

Meanwhile, in another part of our shrinking world, the white man’s burden takes on a different form.

Man, 24, stabbed to death and two others injured in large fight at Westfield Stratford shopping centre near Olympic site, (as black gangs clash)

The 24-year-old victim, who is yet to be named, was knifed yesterday

Scotland Yard said two other males suffered minor injuries during the attack, which happened in a busy area of the shopping centre called The Street

Five men, aged between 20 and 23, have been arrested in connection with the death and are being held in custody

By SUZANNAH HILLS and JILL REILLY

Detectives were today questioning five suspects in connection with the murder of a man who was stabbed at a busy shopping centre just yards from the Olympic Park.

The 24-year-old victim, who is yet to be named, was knifed after a fight broke out between a large group of males at Westfield in Stratford, east London, yesterday afternoon.

A force spokesman said: ‘Police were called at 4.24pm on Friday June 29 to reports of a fight involving a large group of males in The Street on the ground floor of Westfield, Stratford.

Interesting that the Daily Mail provides no further written information while their hard copy reports a large number of gang members armed with knives, ran through stores in a running battle. One man was being chased, chairs and a glass case were thrown and employees of one store locked themselves and customers inside until the police arrived.
The violence continued at a nearby subway station.

The billion dollar shopping center with more then 300 stores from Primark to Prada, has been the battleground for rival black gangs.

And everyday, more of their kind reproduce or immigrate along with other undesirables.

Bring It

George Bush to the world: “You’re either with us, or with the terrorists.” And he was right.

Issa to Obama: “You’re either part of the Fast & Furious scheme and playing CYA, or you’re flexing muscles you don’t have, to obstruct justice.” And he is right as well.

Contempt of Congress Charges For Obama?

“[Y]our privilege assertion means one of two things,” Issa wrote to the president in a letter dated June 25. “Either you or your most senior advisors were involved in managing Operation Fast & Furious and the fallout from it, including the false February 4, 2011 letter provided by the attorney general to the committee, or, you are asserting a presidential power that you know to be unjustified solely for the purpose of further obstructing a congressional investigation.”

Issa said Obama’s assertion of executive privilege “raised the question” about the veracity of how the “White House has steadfastly maintained that it has not had any role in advising the department with respect to the congressional investigation.”

Issa revealed in the letter to Obama that Attorney General Eric Holder had requested the president assert the privilege in a letter last Tuesday evening — shortly after Holder, Issa and other congressional leaders involved in Fast and Furious met to try to come a resolution before last Wednesday’s contempt vote in Issa’s oversight committee. The president’s decision to assert the privilege came via a letter from Deputy Attorney General James Cole to Issa minutes before Issa began the proceedings against Holder.

The California congressman told Obama that Cole’s letter stating that Obama has “’asserted executive privilege over the relevant post-February 4, 2011 documents’ raised concerns that there was greater White House involvement in Operation Fast and Furious than previously thought.”

Issa laid out that this is because the “Justice Department has steadfastly maintained that the documents sought by the committee do not implicate the White House whatsoever.”

“If true, they are at best deliberative documents between and among department personnel who lack the requisite ‘operational proximity’ to the president,” as legal precedent Issa cites requires. “As such, they cannot be withheld pursuant to the constitutionally-based executive privilege.”

Read the rest at The Daily Caller

Hot Air has more.

Misconduct occurred on two levels.  Issa’s reference is to the false information submitted by DoJ officials in Congressional testimony, which is the specific subject of the subpoenas on which the contempt charge is based.  However, the overall investigation into OF&F also probes official misconduct in deliberately allowing thousands of weapons to be carried over the border with no way to track them, which violates regulations at the ATF — which is why ATF insiders blew the whistle on the operation in the first place.  Either way, Issa is entirely correct under US v Espy that deliberative process executive privilege does not survive in these circumstances.

“Last week’s proceeding would not have occurred had the attorney general actually produced the subpoenaed documents he said he could provide.” [Issa wrote.]

The full U.S. House of Representatives is set to vote on Thursday to hold Holder in contempt of Congress. He would be the first attorney general to be held in contempt in the history of the United States.

Looks like Odipshit pulled off an acrobatic miracle with this: he stepped in shit at the same time he put his foot in his mouth. Mad skillz, baby.

And now the fight is on, and it’s pretty much proof positive that Fast & Furious goes all the way to the top. Which is what we all figured out in about 4 minutes a year and a half ago. Just you wait until the next whistle blower spills the beans that F&F was only one of a dozen or more parallel ops. I’ll betcha it was.

Meanwhile, Darrel Issa continues to show himself as one of the perhaps three or four honorable members of our government. Scalia, Bolton, Issa. That’s all I can spot from here. Anyone else? Bueller? Bueller?

I’ve got the nails, you bring the hammer

It’s about damn time.

House Committee Vote: AG Holder In Contempt

A House panel voted Wednesday in favor of holding Attorney General Eric Holder in contempt of Congress, a move that inflamed partisan rancor on Capitol Hill and sets up the possibility of legal action against the attorney general himself.

Holder has not yet been formally held in contempt of Congress. The full House would still need to approve the resolution in order for that to happen—Rep. Darrell Issa, R-Calif., afterward told Fox News that such a floor vote can still be avoided.

But the 23-17 party-line vote on the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee marked a significant turn in lawmakers’ 16-month investigation into the botched anti-gunrunning operation Fast and Furious. With the vote, Republicans on the committee signaled they had exhausted all other means to extract sought-after documents from the Justice Department—though Democrats had insisted there was still an opportunity to sort out the mess without a contempt vote.

“We and the American people need answers sooner, not later,” said Issa, R-Calif., chairman of the committee.

Issa pressed ahead with the vote Wednesday despite an eleventh-hour move by President Obama to assert executive privilege over the Fast and Furious documents at the heart of the dispute.

For a year and a half this racist, lying, cheatin’, two faced mo-fo has been playing games and refusing to cooperate with Congress. What, he thinks he above the law? Nuh uh, EVERYBODY in government bows down to Congress. And now his time is about to run out. Crucify him. Offer him a deal if he rats out everyone, and then renege on it. Oops, sorry, you didn’t come clean enough fast enough, and now we’re furious. Tough luck.

For a few hours this morning it looked like he might have had an escape plan: Obama pulled the old Executive Privilege game, and tried to cover his homey with it. All that proved to me was that Obama was in this Fast And Furious business up to his neck, and had been since the beginning. And we all know what it was all about: creating a false “emergency” to bring back the AWB and to shut down the Second Amendment. And they were all in on it. Obama, Napolitano, Holder, Clinton, etc. Otherwise Holder would be another speed bump under the famous bus. But I guess the House Committee wasn’t going to accept that kind of cover up. Good for them.

Ealier:

President Obama has granted an 11th-hour request by Attorney General Eric Holder to exert executive privilege over Fast and Furious documents, a last-minute maneuver that appears unlikely to head off a contempt vote against Holder by Republicans in the House.

The House Oversight and Government Reform Committee is expected to forge ahead Wednesday morning with its meeting on the contempt resolution anyway.

If the vote proceeds, Republicans have more than enough votes on committee to pass the resolution. However, Holder would not be considered held in contempt of Congress unless and until the full House approves the measure.

The move by Holder and Obama to lock down some requested documents only complicates the fight over the botched anti-gunrunning operation between the legislative and executive branches.

When one domino falls it knocks over another one. And another one. And so on, and so on. Lets see what happens now. Is it possible that some Republicans in Congress have grown a bit of spine?

Another Day, Another TSA Scumbag

DFW TSA Creep Busted : Stealing iPads

How many of these stories have we seen over the past decade? 200? 500? 1000? Bottom line: if the TSA is NOT a work release program for convicted felons, it is a training ground for would-be felons. These people are immoral and dishonest and this has been proven hundreds and hundreds of times. And they are entrusted with America’s flying safety? And they have near-police powers over you and yours? And the government wants to increase their powers and extend their jurisdiction? And they still haven’t caught a single terrorist or found a single real bomb. Not one. Of either.

Oh hella no. Fire them all. Throw out the Patriot Act. Disband the TSA. Rethink the entire thing after taking a quadruple dose of common sense, then start over.

A Transportation Security Administration baggage inspector at Dallas/Fort Worth Airport has been indicted in the theft of Apple iPads from luggage over eight months.

Clayton Keith Dovel, 36, of Bedford was arrested Feb. 1 and has been suspended indefinitely, officials said.

The investigation led to the recovery of eight stolen iPads, including one that was among Dovel’s possessions at Terminal E when he was arrested, airport police said.

“suspended indefinitely”. Are you EFFING kidding me? Why was this mo-fo not fired on the spot, stripped of every last government perk and benefit, and then carted off to jail?

The indictments that the Tarrant County grand jury issued this week charge Dovel with theft by a public servant of items valued at up to $20,000. If convicted, he could face two to 10 years in prison. According to airport police, a traveler reported Jan. 24 that his iPad 2 had been stolen and that he had traced it electronically to a home in Bedford owned by Dovel.

While arresting Dovel in that case, airport police discovered another iPad in Dovel’s leather satchel. Dovel told authorities that the iPad was his but that he couldn’t remember where he bought it, according to police reports. Using that iPad’s serial number, police traced it to a Grand Prairie man who had reported that it was stolen as he traveled through Terminal E in May.

In the indictment, Dovel is also accused of stealing iPads in November and early January.

The TSA issued a statement calling the arrest part of a “zero-tolerance policy for allegations of misconduct or theft” at the airport.

Excuse me, but it’s APRIL. They caught this bastard red-handed back in February, and they KNEW that stuff was getting lifted from luggage - iPads specifically - since at least May the year before. a) Investigation my ass. The FBI or cops or whoever could have tracked this crap down months before. ONE THEFT is one too many, but two is enough to show a pattern; and b) is the DFW so buried in crime that a February arrest takes until April to come before a grand jury? Maybe the whole damn area needs some new brooms to sweep things clean.

TSA is little more than a uniformed mafia run by the government. The evidence is overwhelming that they are a debased and criminal enterprise. Fire them all. We don’t need 8 month investigations at the cost of millions. That’s make-work bullshit. Let’s turn the tables. Every single TSA employee, baggage handler, and anyone else in the security or luggage channels gets scanned or strip searched every single day and their possessions checked and listed, on the way in and out of the airport. One extra stick of chewing gum without a receipt and they are arrested. On the spot. We can’t trust them to be honest, so they ought to be treated like the criminals that they want to be. Hell, let’s take back their mall-cop uniforms and dress them in county orange. Might save time in the long run.

And don’t give me that “they couldn’t resist temptation”. Phooey. I used to be a cashier in the grocery store. I’d handle tens of thousands of dollars all the time. Sure, it’s pretty amazing at first. But after a couple of weeks it’s just work, no different than counting coupons. Once you work in the candy factory you lose your taste for chocolates.

Oy vey. Now, back to finishing off my tax forms. Thank you oh great beneficent and benevolent government, for granted us an extra two days this year to file the extensive paperwork necessary to get a small amount of our own money back from your sticky paws.

little girls as sex objects. and moms encourage it? SICK!  a new low.

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/femail/article-2112156/Dance-Moms-hits-new-low-Girls-young-EIGHT-wear-nude-bikinis-burlesque-routines.html

That link above well illustrates how depraved and sick the world, or their world anyway, has become.  I won’t post any of the photos here.

What the hell is going on with the moms?

Some people automatically accept men are supposed to be these sexually perverted beings that live under rocks.  There are many who fit that description.
But someone has to feed the perverts and I naively am shocked every time I see evidence that the enablers are actually women, mothers who think it’s perfectly normal and perfectly okay to turn an 8 year old into a would be sex object.  It’s wrong just plain wrong and frankly I think it should be made illegal.
We’re talking about wee kiddies here and even at the age of 10 they are still too damn young.  But what kind of message are the kids getting as they grow up?
This can not be okay.

I’m not sure but I think it comes from the USA. Hope not but I think it does.

Iron Bound Contract Rusted Through Already?

Air Farce Cancels Super Tacano Contract

image

What, did you think the boys in blue were actually going to buy planes with a spinner in front? And keep them??? Oh hella no. And at ONLY $17.75 million a pop, for a pimped out Cessna.

Citing concerns with the procurement process, the U.S. Air Force has canceled Sierra Nevada Corp.’s (SNC) $355 million contract to supply 20 Embraer AT-29 Super Tucano light attack aircraft for operation by the Afghan air force.

The decision to set aside the contract is a victory for Hawker Beechcraft (HBC), which took the Air Force to court after its offer of the AT-6 aircraft was disqualified, leaving SNC as the only bidder for the Light Air Support (LAS) program.

“While we pursue perfection, we sometimes fall short, and when we do we will take corrective action,” says Air Force Secretary Michael Donley in a statement. Citing the ongoing litigation, he adds, “I can only say Air Force Senior Acquisition Executive David Van Buren is not satisfied with the quality of the documentation supporting the award decision.”

The contract was only awarded on December 31, after rival Hawker Beechcraft was eliminated from the competition because their airplane was still on the damn drawing board and the sky jockeys needed the COIN planes right away.

image

Well, the Air Force just scrapped the $355 million contract it gave Embraer and Sierra Nevada Corporation for 20 Super Tucano light attack turboprops on Dec. 31.

Remember, the Brazilian Super T beat out Hawker Beechcraft’s AT-6 Texan in the light attack contest aimed at providing a counterinsurgency aircraft for the tiny Afghan air force.

Apparently, someone got something pretty wrong in the “documentation” for the deal. So wrong that the Air Force has contacted the Department of Justice about the matter. Uh oh.

So, go figure. And make up your own mind as to the real reason this project got canned ...

A) Now that Obama has lost the war in Afghanistan with an apology, and our troops are totally in the shitter from the local lunatics uprising over their stupid book (which I have heard were burned “by accident” by some Afghani soldiers or contractors who volunteered for the task, and then put the word out. Gee, thanks. Such allies. They turned on us in the very beginning of that war, when our troops were half a mile away from bin Laden, and they turned on us again with the burning, and then after it when they assassinated those two high ranking officers right inside the command post. Guess we just don’t learn, ever.), it doesn’t look like we’ll be giving Karzai his own little air force after all. Because that’s the real truth: these planes never were for our guys. We were going to drop nearly half a billion giving them away to a group of cavemen who haven’t even figured out how to shoe horses yet. Or camels. Whatever. And then load the planes down with tons of our own very latest high tech avionics and insurgent detection gear, and then cross our fingers and our toes and click our ruby slippers and hope the planes didn’t accidentally get stolen or have “emergency landings” across the border into Pakistan where the frickin’ Red Chinese would be all over them like ... white on rice ... just like they did to that stealth chopper left behind after knocking off bin Laden.

B) Guess the bribe wasn’t big enough. Your choice who was getting that bribe; some fat armchair general about to retire, or the DNC. Oooh, “problems with the paperwork”. Yeah, that probably means the suitcase full of bills wasn’t heavy enough.

C) Guess the bribe WAS big enough, and Hawker Beechcraft has bought themselves some more politicians who are twisting arms. It’s not like this hasn’t happened before; look up Boeing and the mess over that aerial tanker replacement plan.

You may choose any combination of the above. Any or all of them are probably true.

The Land of Tinfoil

I got caught up in one of Rodger’s stories yesterday, the one about the $6 trillion in “fake” bearer bonds being seized by the Italian police ...

Italian prosecutors say they have broken up an organised crime ring that was hiding trillions of dollars of fake US bonds.

The bonds, with a face value of $6tn, were found in three metal boxes in a warehouse in the Swiss city of Zurich.

Italian authorities have arrested eight people and are investigating them for fraud and other crimes.

Prosecutors are not sure what the gang was planning, but think they intended to sell the counterfeit bonds.

Investigators, based in Potenza in southern Italy, say the fraud posed “severe threats” to international financial security.

The notes, which were dated 1934, were found in three safety deposit boxes in Zurich after a year-long joint investigation by Swiss and Italian authorities known as “Operation Vulcanica”. Eight people have been arrested.
...
The eight people under arrest are accused of counterfeiting bonds, as well as credit card forgery and usury across several Italian regions, including Lombardy in the north of the country.

Prosecutors refused to say anything more. But the Italian news agency ANSA, citing unidentified investigative sources, said phone taps indicated that there had been some interest from the suspects in acquiring plutonium from unidentified Nigerians.

Six trillion dollars? Plutonium from Nigeria? Gold bearer bonds from 1934? Nor is this the only recent bond bust. $20 billion in similar bonds were recently captured in Milan, and another $134 billion was grabbed in 2009, another huge stash in 2007, ...

An unusual and intriguing part of the story is that the bonds seem to have been found in old metal boxes marked “Chicago Federal Reserve System” “Mother Box” “Treaty of Versailles”. Ain’t that the damnedest thing?

image

I wanted to know more, so after I followed his links I Googled up the story ... and instantly found as many pages claiming that these were real as I found news stories saying that they were false. I decided to look closer, took the first step, ... and fell down the rabbit hole into the magical world of tinfoil hat land.

Horry Clappo! The more I looked, the wilder it got. Could there be any truth here? Could this story be a peak into the hidden powers behind the thrones, some machination of the One World Order? And I kept digging and digging and reading until I thought my head was going to explode. Let’s see if I can sum it all up in a short paragraph or two. So suspend your disbelief, set your Gullibility Meter to 11, and clap your hands harder than you ever clapped for Tinkerbell to live, that you believe that our Secret Masters are real.

*******
There is far more gold in the world than The Powers That Be want you to know about. If you Google up that question, you get an answer that there is X million tons of the stuff, enough to make one solid brick about the size of a house. Wrong! Try 100 times that much, perhaps 1000. 100,000. (this is entirely possible, because no person or nation is willing to say “We’ve got this much, come look!") International trade has existed since caveman days. We know this is true; rare archaeological oddities have turned up many times that show it may even have been trans-Atlantic. The trade routes to the Far East have existed longer than recorded history. The Silk Road starts in China and Japan, but in far antiquity the western ends went to Imperial Rome, Pharaoh’s doorstep, and perhaps the Meso-American civilizations around the Gulf of Mexico. All those trade goods going west for thousands of years, but going east, the payment has always been gold. Just gold. Read your Bible. Read your history. There was a LOT of gold kicking around back then. Taels worth. Lakhs worth. Millions of Fingers worth; the stories are so old that the units of measurement are almost lost to history. And over time, vast hordes of it wound up in China, where it just sat, forever. Ok, some massive amounts accumulated in India too, and to this day unbelievable hordes come to light once in a great while, worth billions.

While Europe was involved in a state of perpetual war for 3 or 4 thousand years, while dynasties came and went in India with all the killing, looting, and burning, while the ahistoric civilizations in Africa rose and fell, nobody ever fully conquered China. Oh sure, the Mongols. The Horde. But while they may have won the wars, they didn’t take the spoils and leave. No, they settled in, and stayed in China. Along with all that gold.

Fast forward through history to the 1930s. A weakened China, steeped in its own civil war, is invaded by Imperial Japan. (if you include all the players, which is only fair, World War II started long before old Adolph visited Poland. Japan invaded China in 1931, and Italy invaded Ethiopia in 1935. The Spanish Civil War 1936-39 is seen as a training program for the Nazi war machine, but is otherwise separate from the later global conflict.) Ok, Japan is kicking Moo Shu Pork Butt in China, and it looks like they might win. Time to move the gold. Where to send it? Fort Knox. Or the Old Sun Life Building. Which they did. 3, 4, or 7 battleships full. Or destroyers full, depending on which version of the story you read. A bunch of big ships, full of gold. China, or at least the Koumintang Party which was nominally in charge, was our ally back then. Remember the Flying Tigers and the movie Sand Pebbles?

Nations moving their bullion to some other safe country isn’t conjecture. This was done in WWI, and done again in WWII. Heck, if you’re over 45 you probably read Snow Treasure as a kid where the children snuck the gold past the Nazis on sleds. Smuggling is older than time too.

So the USA, still fat with Europe’s bullion from WWI (thanks Peiper, I’m rereading The Lords of Finance again, and I’m at the point the Dawes Plan is going into effect.) starts getting gold sent to it for safekeeping from all corners of the globe, and part of that is a horde beyond description from China. The gold of the world, all in the USA. And what did China get for this, as proof of their deposit? Bonds. Really huge bonds, with denominations in the millions and billions. Gold bonds. Sealed in metal Treasury Department boxes, with an agreement that they wouldn’t be opened for 30-60 years. Boxes and bonds just like the ones that came to light in this news story. At the time China didn’t have much in the way of official government, being in another one of their warlord periods. Most of the gold was in private hands, so these bonds were issued to people, not to the nation. Those people, the very small group of massively wealthy Chinese, would later be known by the group name called the Dragon Family.

This “fake bonds” story is just the latest chapter in the “China’s Black Gold” legend, which has been floating around for some time now. Add to the gold sent to us the gold stolen from China by Imperial Japan, which the US seized at the end of the war. Now put in the twist that, under FDR - perhaps the dirtiest dealing politician that ever was - the USA had no intention of ever giving any of it back. That they played the Chinese and issued real bonds in real boxes, but made them both with deliberate errors so that they would be dismissed as fakes when anyone tried to redeem them a generation or two later on. And that’s exactly what we have here in this news story. We ripped off China for dozens of trillions, the real bonds were declared fraudulent in court a few years ago, and the Dragon Family has been trying to flog them anywhere in the world ever since.

The problem is that what Romney, Trump and other China trade policy critics miss is that the trade deficit is not a result of a poorly thought out U.S. trade policy. In fact the U.S. trade policy with China has been meticulously thought out. There is growing evidence that it is payback for the CIA’s decades long covert use of China’s “black gold” - gold that does not appear on any international gold registry. China’s “black gold” has been hidden for over six decades in order to fund a globally coordinated set of covert projects hidden from public view by the CIA and a consortium of national intelligence organizations and transnational corporations - a Global Manhattan Project.

Two very recent court cases and a June 2009 incident on the Italian/Swiss border involving high denomination 1934 Federal Reserve notes reveal a remarkable historical fact. During the Second World War era, vast quantities of Chinese gold reserves were either looted and hidden by the Japanese Imperial Army in the Philippines, or transferred by the Chinese Nationalist government to international safe havens.

The biggest beneficiary of this vast historical movement of “black” gold was the U.S. government which arranged for a significant portion of China’s “black” gold to be transferred into the US. Federal Reserve system, and Federal Reserve bonds and/or notes issued in return. The holders of these high denomination Federal Reserve bearer bonds/notes - often the descendents of Chinese/Asian royal families - could only redeem these bonds after lengthy periods of time, e.g., five decades. As a safeguard to ensure the “black gold” would not become publicly tradable, the Federal notes/bonds were printed with spelling errors and other abnormalities that would make them appear fraudulent. Attempts to redeem these bearer bonds have been unsuccessful.

This has led to court cases and financial incidents that have drawn media attention over the high denomination bonds in dispute and their validity. Most public media attention wrongly concludes that these bonds are fraudulent as outlined in a recent Bloomberg article focusing on bonds found in the Philippines.
Two recent court cases citing meticulous fact checking and documentation of these high denomination 1934 bonds, suggest otherwise.

To calculate the total amount of gold ‘leased’ by China’s nationalist government to the Federal Reserve we can use the 1938 historic figure for the price of gold which was $34.87 per troy oz. $124.5 billion converts into an approximate total of 3.6 billion troy oz or 110 thousand metric tons. Given that the world’s total gold reserves is officially only 165 thousand tons, this is a staggering amount of gold that was secretly leased from China’s nationalist government.

Using the current spot price of gold, nearly $1700 per troy oz, the value of Chinese gold in possession of the Federal Reserve has a price of six trillion dollars!

Six trillion dollars. The very same amount in the news story from Italy. The above quote is from a web page that was written before the bonds were seized. Spooky!!

Purposeful mistake: a 52 star American flag embossed

on one of the Mother Boxes from 1934. Proof it’s a fake!!

So where is all the gold? Nobody knows. Rumor is that the court case referred to above was decided in America’s favor September 10, 2001. And that the gold had been stored in massive vaults deep underneath World Trade Center Building 7. But when the workers dug down through all the rubble, those vaults were found to be empty.

Actually, somebody does now. The secret cabal that runs the world - bankers and evil Joooos of course, of which the United States is their wholly owned corporation (well, them and the British Empire) - control the courts so they knew ahead of time how the decision would come down, and what would happen - 9/11 - because of it, so they spirited the gold out ahead of time. I’m only touching the tip of the iceberg here. The full story is long and convoluted and I haven’t read it all. I’m sure the Knights Templar and the Illuminati of Bavaria come into it somewhere. Certainly the Rothschilds do, and JP Morgan, and the Nazis. Even Saddam Hussein has a part: do you remember how US soldiers found/captured trucks full of gold bars in Iraq in the early days of Gulf War 2? It happened; Google it. Whatever became of that gold? Whatever became of that mountain full of Nazi gold the US Army found at the end of WWII? It’s all connected, in a story that spans the globe and nearly all of human history. And all hidden from sight and actively denied. Just like the Bilderberg Group and their Nazi roots. Just like these bonds. Down the rabbit hole.

Into the land of tinfoil.

Of course it’s fake! Right??

I Hate Being Patronized

The Fast and Furious story broke early last summer. It’s now nearly Valentine’s Day, and the news story, among the networks who even consider this news, is that a former agent says more government agencies were involved than LLPO Eric Holder admits to (LLPO = Liar Liar Pants On Fire). Well, no kidding. Tell us what we don’t know, m’kay?

Former DEA Chief: 3 Other Agencies Aware of Fast & Furious

While criticism surrounding Operation Fast and Furious has so far focused on the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms, three other federal agencies knew about the operation and some of their agents tried to stop it, according to the former chief of the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration in Tucson.

Tony Coulson, the DEA’s agent in charge of Southern Arizona during Fast and Furious, says many federal field agents knew the ATF was walking guns to Mexico, but supervisors told them to back off when they objected.

Coulson’s remarks jibe with what is already known about the operation. The DEA, the FBI and ICE, also known as Immigration Customs and Enforcement, all played roles in the investigation.

Coulson said those agencies share the blame since top officials knew, but did little to stop, the gunrunning effort. Coulson is among the first senior public officials, current or former, who admit knowing about the botched operation.

This is really annoying. And patronizing. Because anybody who can think and who realizes what a Velcroed clusterfuck of buck passing ass coverers the federal government is, can immediately see that this “revelation” is still not even half true. FBI, DEA, ATF, ICE involved? Sure. And the list goes on ...

Gun shops being strong-armed to make bulk sales to strawmen. That’s the ATF.

Guns sold to criminals. That’s the FBI.

Guns along the Rio Grande. That’s DHS.

Guns walking across the border? That’s ICE. And the Border Patrol perhaps, though so far it looks like they may have been patsies.

Several other similar programs, some in the Caribbean islands. That’s CIA and State.

Guns sold to criminal gangs of drug dealers. That’s DEA.

Gangs that are big enough and well armed enough to be a threat to the government of Mexico? Absolutely CIA and State. Can you say “junta” without a who?

Six or more law enforcement agencies working together? You know damn well DOJ is in it up to their eyeballs.

And who do they report to? No guesses necessary. The top end of the Executive and Legislative branches. Which means The White House, and probably several super select committees in Congress. It probably also involves some Spy Boys and their Costly Toys too, but that will never surface.

This stink sting operation was running in several states, so it’s a no-brainer to realize that any number of state law enforcement agencies and elected state officials were also in the know, at least to some extent.

And not one reporter ... reporters who orgasmically splooge themselves over those Watergate movies, look how we the Press connected the dots and brought down a president ... wants to lift a pen to connect dot one to dot two.

Not one of them has looked at the weapons themselves, and followed that lead. Were they actual fully automatic M16s? If they were, and they were new ones, then who approved the production run for several thousand for private sale? Machine guns are almost as tightly controlled as the Ebola virus on Plum Island. Were they military issue weapons? If so, then from where? Actual surplus, or did they “walk” off base in the middle of the night? That would bring the services into it, and yet another criminal element if those were current military guns that had been stolen from several bases. Hidden behind all the smoke and mirrors is the ugly fact that it wasn’t just guns, fully automatic or not, that walked. Grenades were involved too, and anti-aircraft weaponry. How does that not drag in the military? Is there some special branch of government that watches over the war munitions and isn’t in uniform?

This is one of the biggest boondoggle in American history, with dirty tentacles spread everywhere. In a just world it would bring down the government. No, not just Obama, but the heads of the House and Senate, the top levels of a dozen major agencies, a boxful of judges perhaps, perhaps some top military brass, and a truckload of state officials. And an army of pencil pushers and badge flashers. It would be Purge Time In Moscow, 1937, all over again. Only with real trials for good reason, in public, and the screaming hordes of citizens with torches at the gates. Because F&F is blatant proof that a secret cabal existed. A hidden government within the government, out of sight and above the law, with secret political intentions. And the housecleaning ought to be horrendous. My point is that everyone knew, from the very top to the bottom, and not one of them had the integrity or the common sense to speak up. And for that, they should all fry. ALL OF THEM.

Instead, all the average Joe Stupid on the street knows is that poor old Eric Holder is getting hassled by some committee all the time because he’s black.

Rlly? Srsly?

New report released by GOP lawmakers suggests top Justice officials had extensive knowledge of Operation Fast and Furious

Top Department of Justice officials had extensive knowledge of and involvement in Operation Fast and Furious, claims a new report released Thursday, hours before Attorney General Eric Holder’s scheduled testimony to the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee.

The report released by Rep. Darrell Issa, R-Calif., and Sen. Charles Grassley, R-Iowa, top lawmakers investigating the botched gunrunning operation, claims Justice Department officials in Washington and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives were involved in the coordination in the early stages of the operation.

Justice headquarters “had much greater knowledge of, and involvement in, Fast and Furious than it has previously acknowledged,” the memo reads.

The memo, which contradicts claims by the Justice Department, is based upon interviews, documents and emails involving key players of the operation run by the ATF. The operation allowed some 2,000 weapons cross the border into Mexico and into the hands of cartel members.

Gak, why is this even news?

Is it finally, finally becoming obvious to even the willfully blind that F & F had to be run from the very top, with the involvement of all the major players and all the LEO departments? We figured that one out 7 months ago, and then a short essay by a DC insider on how the system works (meetings, sign-offs, emails, CYA when things are ‘above your pay grade’, etc ) drove the point home. No kidding. It could not have been any other way. DHS, BATFE, FBI, DOJ, and the whole alphabet of agencies probably even including the CIA are in this up to their eyeballs and have been since the beginning. State Department too in all likelihood, right up to the very top (HRH HRC) and that strongly implies White House involvement. “We’ve got something in the works, under the radar” quoth Fearless Reader back in the day.

The media is only starting to bay about Eric Holder. They haven’t even begun to think about Janet Napolitano. It might take them a century to have the epiphany that at least a handful of Senators and Congressweasels are also involved, along with quite a number of top state officials. Fast and Furious was not an accident and it did not operate in a vacuum.

We The People aren’t stupid, and we figured out the obvious months ago: that a large chunk of our federal government and some of our state governments were knowingly involved in a wide ranging action that was this close to being an act of war against a neighboring sovereign nation, all done to further their Alinksi plans to fracture society and to serve as the ultimate example for shredding the keystone piece of the Constitution that protects the rest of it.

It failed. The word leaked out. And now DC is furiously blowing smoke and twisting mirrors as fast as they can. Needless to say, the media is fairly complicit, since this has never been more than a bit of a small scale back burner sidebar story for just a few of the networks. If this shit ever really hits the fan, Holder will be left holding the bag ... and nobody will ever connect the dots to all the other players involved.

Fast and Furious is 1000 times dirtier than Watergate. This should have toppled the whole government. It is the prime example of the hubris in DC and their above-the-law elitist mentality. And for the most part, the mindless sheeple ignore it or are completely unaware of it, because the media doesn’t want to splatter any mud on their masters.

Two Amongst Thousands

“A Poster Child For Greed”

Utterly Corrupt Prince George’s County Maryland County Exec Jack Johnson (DEMOCRAT) Gets 7+ Years In Jail

Wife Leslie, Former County Councilwoman (DEMOCRAT), Gets 1

imageimage
That’s some serious Audacity Pair

Former Prince George’s County Executive Jack Johnson, who pleaded guilty to extortion charges earlier this year, was sentenced Tuesday to more than seven years in prison.

Prosecutors called Johnson’s corruption scheme one of the most audacious in Maryland history.

Johnson, 62, pleaded guilty in May to federal charges of extortion and witness and evidence tampering, as well as taking hundreds of thousands of dollars in bribes from pay-to-play business dealings.

Johnson apologized at the hearing, saying he was “haunted” by his actions.

“I’ve lost everything—my reputation, all of the things I worked for,” he said.

U.S. District Court Judge Peter Messitte said he was not moved by the good deeds that Johnson and his lawyers had said he performed in office.

“If you’ve done them, good for you,” Messitte said. “That’s what you were elected to do. You were not elected to line your pockets. You were not elected to corrupt the system the way you did.”

Johnson was the executive of the county from 2002 to December 2010. Prior to that, he was the county’s state’s attorney and spent nearly a decade as an attorney for the IRS Office of Chief Counsel.

Jack Johnson could have been a role model for integrity, but he chose to be a poster child for greed,” said U.S. Attorney Rod J. Rosenstein. “The facts of this case read like a dime novel because the defendant acted as if corruption was the normal way of doing business. It is our responsibility to prove him wrong.”

Last month, state officials released wiretap recordings that helped convict Johnson and his wife, Leslie.

On the tapes, the couple can be heard frantically deciding what to do with a $100,000 bribery check. Leslie Johnson eventually flushes the check down a toilet. Her husband could then be heard telling her to put nearly $80,000 in cash in her panties.

He took a CHECK as a bribe? Wow, they breed a special kind of special child in that state, boy howdy. And 80 grand in cash in his wife’s underwear? My bet is she ain’t no size 4 to stash that pile of money. Don’t you know nothing girl? That kind of cash belongs in the freezer! Horry Clap.

More at this link too, and some audio from the phone taps is here.

hey hey hey, bye bye

BLAGO Gets 14 Years

Former Illinois governor Rod Blagojevich was sentenced to 14 years in federal prison Wednesday for 18 felony convictions stemming from trying to sell the U.S. Senate seat once occupied by Barack Obama, shaking people down in exchange for campaign contributions and lying to federal agents.

Blagojevich told the court that he made “terrible mistakes” and was “unbelievably sorry” for his crimes.

“I am responsible,” Blagojevich said, apologizing for his actions and his earlier assertions that he was unjustly targeted by prosecutors.

Damn shame the prosecutor couldn’t/wouldn’t rope in the rest of the gang because they’re all guilty as hell too.

Illinois’ previous governor, Republican governor George Ryan, was sent to jail in 2006 for 6 years. That gives them 2 former governors in the pokey at the same time. I think we have a record here folks!

It’s a start

One Down, One On Deck, One Still In Office

Tony Resko sentenced to 10.5 years jail time

Blago to be sentenced December 6th

A former fundraiser to President Barack Obama was sentenced to 10.5 years in federal prison today. Tony Rezko, 56, will end up spending only seven years behind bars because the judge gave him credit for time he’s already served.

In 2008, Rezko was convicted of pay to play politics including fraud, bribery and extorting millions from businesses seeking contracts with the state of Illinois while Rod Blagojevich was Governor.
...

Rezko’s sentencing of 10.5 years could set a precedent for the upcoming sentencing of convicted Illinois Governor Rod Blagojevich. Blagojevich was found guilty on multiple corruption charges during his re-trial earlier this year. His sentencing is scheduled for Tuesday December 6th in Chicago.

A Shot In The Arm For The Economy?

Nearly Half A Billion Spent On Smallpox Vaccine

Exactly ZERO cases of smallpox in USA

Pharma Company is Big Obama Donar of course!

It occurs to me that if a) there was no corporate tax, then b) then no companies could make political contributions, and c) there would be no charges of corrupt crony capitalism.
But there would still be graft. Payouts for friends, political appointments, sweetheart deals ... it never ends. But the level of cronyism under the current administration is just beyond comprehension. Hundreds of billions of dollars worth. It never ends. It never even slows down.

$433M Smallpox Drug Contract to Company Tied to Dem Donor

Scientists are questioning a $433 million government contract for a smallpox drug they say the country doesn’t need, amid concerns over the way the project was secured for a firm tied to a Democratic donor.

The Los Angeles Times reported over the weekend that U.S. officials took unusual steps to award the contract to Siga Technologies. Democratic donor Ronald Perelman has the controlling share of the company.

The article cited emails showing the Obama administration replaced the lead negotiator on the project following complaints from Siga—Siga was apparently concerned about the government’s objections to how much money Siga would make off the deal.

Earlier, in December, the government also reportedly blocked other companies from bidding on the contract in a second round.

Siga ultimately won the contract in May, but some questioned the price of the drug—approximately $255 per dose—and the practicality of the project.

The government already has a smallpox vaccine on reserve. Siga’s pill is meant to help people diagnosed too late for the vaccine to be effective, according to the Times.

Reporting from Washington — Over the last year, the Obama administration has aggressively pushed a $433-million plan to buy an experimental smallpox drug, despite uncertainty over whether it is needed or will work.

Senior officials have taken unusual steps to secure the contract for New York-based Siga Technologies Inc., whose controlling shareholder is billionaire Ronald O. Perelman, one of the world’s richest men and a longtime Democratic Party donor.

When Siga complained that contracting specialists at the Department of Health and Human Services were resisting the company’s financial demands, senior officials replaced the government’s lead negotiator for the deal, interviews and documents show.

When Siga was in danger of losing its grip on the contract a year ago, the officials blocked other firms from competing.

Siga was awarded the final contract in May through a “sole-source” procurement in which it was the only company asked to submit a proposal. The contract calls for Siga to deliver 1.7 million doses of the drug for the nation’s biodefense stockpile. The price of approximately $255 per dose is well above what the government’s specialists had earlier said was reasonable, according to internal documents and interviews.

Once feared for its grotesque pustules and 30% death rate, smallpox was eradicated worldwide as of 1978 and is known to exist only in the locked freezers of a Russian scientific institute and the U.S. government. There is no credible evidence that any other country or a terrorist group possesses smallpox.

Siga’s drug, an antiviral pill called ST-246, would be used to treat people who were diagnosed with smallpox too late for the vaccine to help. Yet the new drug cannot be tested for effectiveness in people because of ethical constraints — and no one knows whether animal testing could prove it would work in humans.

Hey, remember when the media had shit-fits 24-7 over some no-bid contracts awarded to Halliburton and Blackhawk for work in the Iraq war zone, even though no other companies existed that could perform the work in the time and scope necessary? Do you think they’ll wind up their alarm sirens and start screaming over this one, when at least a dozen other companies could have made this drug that may not even work and is probably not even needed? [crickets] [more crickets]

Remember when those same media “watchdogs” went turbo-monkey-poo over “no WMDS” in Iraq, and how Iraq was considered the most likely evil nation to even have a bio-terror capability?

So? So what will they say now? [even more crickets]
