Before getting to my first post in a couple of days ... having to take off the weekend for personal things ....

My thanks to Christopher for the post on President Reagan yesterday.  He very truly is missed by a lot of us. There were very kind words I never thought I’d see in, of all places, The Times. Which generally is a bit left of cntr. and safe to say not a bastion of Republican thought or attitudes.

Now then ... to something that is clearly a part of the ludicrous age we live in.  And who allows it? The usual suspects.

Stupid white people who enable folks I don’t even believe are true liberals to begin with.  That liberal label gets tossed around a lot and by myself as well as others. But there are some self serving slimy but not stupid bastards, that do things hiding behind any wall with a label to further their own personal agenda. Which is usually ego enhancing.

So anyway, Here I am.  Pissed Off again. My permanent state of being.

Some of you may have noticed that over time my language has not improved.
Of course what I mean is, I find myself using some words I have tried very hard not to use. Like the ‘F’ word especially.  It hardly ever adds anything to the subject, but as an escape valve to the building steam, it’s a tonic.  Be that as it may, it gets harder and harder to even simulate civil when running across happenings that are so easily taken as gospel by idiot white ppl who are goaded by black human rights activists. It being understood of course that ALL the rights belong to them.

Well, I’m faced with that and worse after catching this story in the last day, and it’s repeated in more then one newspaper today.

You try and also avoid making comments about some ppl, try not to use the ‘N’ word, try not to refer to anyone as a miserable, thin skinned black shit faced bastard, all to no avail.  No avail because there always seems to be one convenient member of some kind of “right” group that is able to find something that they claim upsets the race card apple cart.

In this case, the nigger is a phony fat faced piece of worthless dung named Sonia Carr, who does her race no favors and is a millstone around the neck of the millions of hard working responsible people of color who I’m certain must cringe at the antics of this human bug.  Personally, I hope she develops a nice big tumor on her tongue so she can never again spew race lie garbage she makes up as she goes along. 

Here’s what this fat and neckless pile of poo has started.

It all began with …..

A meeting of a watchdog group on health in the UK.
It was a meeting of volunteers to discuss the state of local health care.
The Wiltshire Involvement Network (WIN), a statutory, independent health watchdog.

There are some big changes coming about in the NHS (Natl. Health Service), and like all proposed changes in something that has become an entrenched part of daily life, change brings questions and also rumours.
During the meeting, As the conversation turned to changes in the NHS, and how rumours about them can spread, the chairman said: “You cannot help the jungle drums.”

You just knew this was coming. Didn’t you?  Yeah. ONE self appointed judge of what is and isn’t racist, one fat negro who happens to sit on an …
Equalities Commission, and who happened to be in the meeting hall at the time, interrupted to state that the term “jungle drums” was a racist remark.
The speaker immediately apologised and carried on.

BUT … The CONSERVATIVE controlled council then accused the watchdog group of racism based on that one “activists” word that the phrase was a racist one.
The incident has led to an official investigation, six months of wrangling, and a decision to bar the health group from meeting councillors. And, it has cost the taxpayers a pile of money. Is that a surprise?

Conservatives are now split on the affair. Some insist on upholding the decision of racism. I guess that’s easier then admitting they were wrong and besides, it might get a few black votes. They hope. It never occurs to these fuckin wiggers that the vote they may get will be from the wrong people.  The name of the game as always is, bow to the accuser and suck up.

The lady who used the expression, has said that as far as she was concerned, it was used in the manner of ‘grapevine’ or ‘rumour mill.’ That was her meaning. But she nevertheless apologized while insisting there was nothing racist about the term jungle drums. But I supposed there will always be darkies that hear that and think negative. Although how anyone can view the term that way is a mystery.  The term “jungle drums” originates from wooden drums which were traditionally used in parts of Africa to communicate messages up to five miles across land.

As it happens, Sonia Carr, a member of the Wiltshire Racial Equality Council who was sitting in the public gallery observing the meeting, intervened to say that a racist remark had been used. 
She wanted an apology, the speaker said sorry and continued the meeting.

Yet Mrs Carr submitted an official complaint to the Wiltshire council – which launched an investigation, produced a 10-page report upholding the complaint, and barred all watchdog members from council premises and meetings. AND ... cut off funding for expenses.

Well, I think we’re all familiar with the old expression, give certain ppl an inch and they take, with inflation considered, a hundred miles. Sonia Carr has said that an apology isn’t enough, it is she says, inadequate. Mrs. Carr further says that the Health Watchdog members did not understand “equality and diversity issues.” Well, it’s kind of hard to understand things when the goal posts keeps changing and being moved about so things can’t be honestly nailed down. Furthermore, fatface,no neck Carr is demanding that all members of the watchdog network be given diversity training.  Translated I guess that means brainwashing. She also wants an apology not just from the 70 year old lady who made the innocent comment, but from ALL members of the network of volunteers.

Jeesh … and liberals still can’t understand why racism still exists, and where it comes from. But hey BMEWS … stay tuned. There’s even worse here. Worse you may ask?  How can it get any worse then conservatives caving into this fraud? Oh well. Read on.

Ms. Carr has more to say.  Remember the old give em an inch thing?

She says … quoting her now so pay attention.

“People need to think before they say things that could cause offence.”

And what things cause offence? Why, anything this fat turd says causes it of course.  And she has been at it for awhile now.

Council sources said that Mrs Carr had previously submitted allegations against the police, the fire brigade and council officers. “

Said one WIN member. “The whole thing is ridiculous. It’s got to the point where you daren’t ask for a black coffee in case somebody takes offence.”
Phil Matthews, WIN’s vice-chairman and a member of the local Coalition Against Racism, said: “It was an innocent comment, a widely used phrase and certainly nothing that should have led to a formal complaint.”

Isn’t that funny? the local what? Coalition Against Racism?  Looks like the left pc brigade came after you too Mr Matthews. How’s it feel?  Betrayed maybe?

“I am outraged at how we have been treated. It’s the worst kind of political correctness. “You might expect this from loony Left councils in the big cities, but you don’t expect it in the Tory (conservative) shires.
On Dec 21 the council wrote to WIN urging it to accept the report’s findings. Three weeks later it informed the watchdog that it would no longer be providing it with funds to cover administration costs.
WIN has not seen any evidence taken during the inquiry and has been given no opportunity to be heard.
“These investigations are complicated and take up a lot of time and resources.
“But the chairman of a group offering services to the public has to be careful not to cause offence to people who may have need of those services.”
However, his view was disputed by fellow Conservative councillor Mike Hewitt, chairman of Wiltshire’s health and social care committee, who said: “This is complete nonsense.
“The phrase was not used in an offensive way. The council has overreacted.”

John Glen, the Tory MP for Salisbury, said it was “ludicrous” that the case “had got this far when there was clearly no intention to cause offence”.

“This kind of unnecessary action and bureaucracy drives the public crazy.”

Gay messages built into school maths lessons for children as young as FOUR

In geography classes, students will be asked why homosexuals move from the countryside to cities – and words such as ‘outing’ and ‘pride’, will be used in language classes.

The lesson plans are designed to raise awareness about lesbian, gay, bisexual and transsexual issues and, in theory, could be used for children as young as four.

They will also mean youngsters are exposed to images of same-sex couples and books such as And Tango Makes Three, which tells the story of two male penguins raising a chick, which was inspired by events at New York’s Central Park Zoo.

It seems that just about everything in Britain is now run according to the gay agenda.

Many different groups are involved in promoting this crazy, upside-down world of the equality agenda. But the seemingly all-­powerful gay rights lobby carries all before it. If it isn’t careful, it risks turning gay people from being the victims of prejudice into Britain’s new McCarthyites.

THE LIGHTS ARE GOING OUT IN DENMARK

The International Free Press Society, of which I am vice president. It is of urgent importance. It tells of the terrible turn of events in Denmark, which for years now has bravely spearheaded the West’s fights to save free speech, now and seemingly in perpetuity under assault from both the Marxian Left and the press of sharia (Islamic law)—and with zero support from diplomatic, governmental, or professional institutions in the United States, home and caretaker of the First Amendment. This appalling lack of support, which translates into a lack of courage and vision, is the main reason the assault of free speech continues to be successful. 

But et tu, Denmark?

There have been signs: for example, former Prime MInister Anders Fogh Rasmussen’s gratuitous slap at Pastor Terry Jones’ stated intention to burn Korans to mark the jihad attacks of 9/11 in September of last year; and the Danish paper Politiken’ s February 2010 apology for reprinting Kurt Westergaard’s Mohammed cartoon, which Westergaard, wonderful man, one month past the nearest-miss assassination attempt yet that sent him and his five-year-old granddaughter into his “safe” room (a reinforced bathroom with an alarm button), declared the newspaper’s apology a “setback for free speech.”

And so it was. But such events are more than “setbacks.” They fit into a terrible and even totalitarian climate of assault in which the Danish government, via its public prosecutor, as the letter states, is “waging a lawfare offensive against outspoken critics of Islam and Muslim practices.”

Last month, Danish MP Jesper Langballe was convicted of “hate speech”—“racial discrimination,” for having highlighted the pattern of “honor killings” in Muslim families. ( Here is his “confession.”)

Now in the crosshairs is my very dear friend and colleague, Lars Hedegaard, President of the Danish Free Press Society and the International Free Press Society. (A historian as well as a journalist and author, Lars took me on a special tour of Copenhagen, which I wrote about here.) On January 24 he goes on trial. His crime? Discussing the high incidence of family rape within Islamic cultures, which the prosecutor is attempting to outlaw as “racism.”

In fact, the Danish prosecutor is attempting to enforce Islamic “blasphemy” laws, which outlaw all criticism of Islam.

Jesper Langballe and now Lars Hedegaard have been targeted because they are Danes of courage and principle who refuse to lie down and shut up and let the “multicultural” Big Lies wash in and inundate their mental and moral capacities to that endpoint of totalitarian triumph where citizens become subjects, minions who no longer articulate or even recognize truth and morality.

In a world where mandarins of the Left and mullahs of sharia so conspire, we risk a kind of double-dhimmification in acquiesence, rendering civilization incapable of self-defense.

Here’s another story on the subject of how easy it is to squat on another’s property, here in squatters paradise.
The reason I’m posting this is because there’s a somewhat newer twist.

There are something like 14 or 15 photos that go with this article.

At first, when I read the hard copy this morning I was really angry with the slobs. Still not happy with them but, the reason they’re here and doing what you will read and see for yourself is .... the UK system of law that makes it so easy.  Called “Squatters Rights” I do believe. If wrong, Lyndon will correct me I know.

These folks are enabled and indeed encouraged by a lax and outdated system. They’ve no money we know of and no worries about the law (which I believe they know) or anyone coming after them with a gun.  So then, anyone surprised that they’re “Doin’ what comes naturally?”

This sort of thing could of course be stopped dead in it’s tracks very quickly. Take em out, tie em to stakes and burn slowly to the music of Spike Jones playing “My Old Flame.” Make a video, with sound naturally, and distribute to those places where they come from. In fact, make it public enough so that any would be squatters would know the eventual price of their (brief) squat. 
No need then for court time, no need for lawyers and appeals and judges having to pontificate. The savings in legal fees alone would be well worth it.

Oh yeah, I’d also send a bill to their home countries for waste disposal.

With its ten bedrooms, marble bathrooms and modern high-spec kitchen it is a property fit for a top ­executive or celebrity.

But yesterday it was home to 30 Eastern Europeans who flocked 1,000 miles to London when they heard how Britain was such a soft touch for squatters.

The gang of immigrants are living for free in the £6million former home of an ITV boss in North London.

They left their home countries and moved in after friends told them the rights of squatters are so entrenched in the UK that it would be ‘almost impossible’ to force them out.

Many of the young foreigners, mainly from Latvia, Lithuania and Poland, broke through a window of the mansion on Boxing Day and have put up legal notices claiming it is their ‘right’ to stay.

They have plastered the property with posters threatening to prosecute anyone who enters without permission.

The ten-bedroom house in Highgate was owned until July last year by John Ormerod, 61, a director of several leading UK companies who also chairs the audit committee at ITV, and his wife Pamela, a magistrate.

The warning posters, on the door and windows, read: ‘Take notice. That we live in this property, it is our home and we intend to stay here.’

Once finely decorated, the house now resembles a refugee camp, with the 30 squatters, many of whom are jobless, littering the floors with ­rubbish and smoking drugs freely.

The gang, aged from 19 to 50, have been given a court order to leave by January 19, but they boast about their intentions to stay on – if they don’t upgrade to a bigger home nearby.

It was a Latvian calling himself ‘Jason Ruddick’ who first broke into the house. He had travelled to London because he had heard it was easy to live in mansions for free in the UK.

Some of the bedrooms have marble en suite bathrooms and Jason, who moved to the UK a year ago, has set up a makeshift office in one.

The jobless 21-year-old said: ‘I knew before I came that people live in squats and have legal protection.

‘Here we have heating and electricity all for free. The bills come in the post but they are addressed to the old owners. We don’t pay them.

‘There are four floors in the house. Ten bedrooms. There are three bathrooms with bathtubs and showers, a kitchen with all the cooking facilities, heating – and all the utilities are on. And there is a big garden with a swing. It’s really expensive to live in such a big house if you have to pay for it. But in the UK we get everything for free. Even food.

‘We always have a full fridge. We go to Iceland and get all the good food from the rubbish bins. It’s called “skipping”. We get sausage rolls, pies and beer from there. When one can is damaged they throw out the whole pack. It’s easy. I like it in Highgate. The area is nice. It is close to Hampstead Heath. If they make me leave I will find a bigger place in the area.’

Jason is from the Latvian capital of Riga, where he also did not work.

He said he chose to come to England because in other countries squatters are routinely arrested and hauled before the courts.

‘Here I can live in a big house for free,’ he said. ‘I was the first one here but I told all my friends about it. We tell everyone back home about it.’

‘Christmas is evil’: Muslim group launches poster campaign against festive period

Fanatics from a banned Islamic hate group have launched a nationwide poster campaign denouncing Christmas as evil.

Organisers plan to put up thousands of placards around the UK claiming the season of goodwill is responsible for rape, teenage pregnancies, abortion, promiscuity, crime and paedophilia.

They hope the campaign will help ‘destroy Christmas’ in this country and lead to Britons converting to Islam instead.

Extreme violence of this nature is rare, says a cop who should know better, or is an idiot.

Detective Constable Darcia Babb said: ‘This was an outrageous and prolonged attack on a defenseless victim by a gang of thugs.

‘Extreme violence of this nature is rare but when it does happen we will make sure those responsible are brought to justice.

Scuze me while I take some time off to figure out just what planet the lady constable is on. Not this one. Is she dizzy er what?  Crimes of this nature are most certainly NOT rare. And as for brought to justice, gimme a break. Justice?  She isn’t dizzy. She’s crazy. Gotta be. Justice?  For what these sub-humans with unpronounceable names did?  What justice? Where’s it hiding?  I saw it somewhere a long time ago. Must have got lost in the immigration shuffle along with the mad hatters that voted Labour and allowed those traitorous lefties to totally screw up the country and the police and the courts.

Take a good look at this ... and take a gander at the time these pukes will serve. A guy gets beat up this badly and some of the thugs are charged with,
violent disorder?  wtf! What’s with that?  And what the hell were the ppl in the restaurant thinking when they closed the door on the victim, afraid to allow him sanctuary. Jeesh what a fucked up world.

The way the headline reads, you immediately think they’re gonna be in jail for a long time. Not so cos it’s 20 years split up among the whole gang of punks.

Grab the link for a couple of photos of the sub-human scum. This is what England and most of Europe will one day look like.  I’m glad I won’t be around to be witness to it. But sure as hell it’s on the way. Can it be halted? Sure. Maybe. Depends on how serious the electorate get about crime. How far they are willing to go to set examples to discourage others.  Somehow, someway the people have to make lawmakers sit up and take notice.  It might be they have to organize vigilantes along the line of San Francisco in 1849.  String up a few lawyers who defend scum like these. Take out a weak judge or two. And by all means do away with some of the violent thugs who’ve been let out early and committed crimes while on release. You think I’m over the top?

In the news this week is a story of unimaginable horror.  The guy is called the Crossbow Cannibal.  He even ate one of his victims raw. How’s that for bad?
AND ...  he’s just another case where he could have been stopped had authorities not been asleep.  Another case also of some mentally deranged wacko who was deemed ok and safe to release, you got it, he killed a total stranger.  Want more?  Some punk darkie released from prison for violent crime, killed someone 6 months after his release.  You’ve heard it all before and many times I’d bet. Same crap but different names.

Just how much is the public supposed to be subjected to? And to add insult to injury, be expected to support these miserable bastards either on benefits or while in jail.  Why?  For what purpose?  Of what use can they be, unless used for medical experiments.

Gang who battered pedestrian with crowbar in brutal road rage attack jailed for nearly 20 years

A gang of thugs who stabbed a pedestrian in a road rage attack, torturing him with a crowbar, hammer and broken bottle have been jailed for almost 20 years.

A 30-year-old man was subjected to a brutal attack after almost being run over by a car as he left a popular Indian restaurant in Whitechapel, east London.

When the pedestrian swore at the driver in anger, he was confronted by three thugs who got out of the convertible BMW and another car following behind.

Rashel Hussain, 20, and his friends, twin brothers Jubhare and Taharak Hussain, both aged 21, battered the victim with a crowbar, causing serious injury to his left hand.

Terrified, the man ran back to Tayyabs restaurant - regarded as one of the best Indian restaurants in London - only to find himself trapped in the doorway as the doors had been locked by frightened staff.

Taharak knifed the man a number of times before running off with the others to get more weapons.

As the victim attempted to get help, stumbling towards the Royal London Hospital nearby, his attackers returned with a larger group of men who leapt on him.

Rashel Hussain battered him with a hammer, while another man, Shah Alom, 22, slashed him with a glass bottle and two others, Jubhare Hussain and Shofiqul Islam, 21, rained down punches on the defenceless man leaving him with serious neck, arm and thigh injuries.

The extraordinary onslaught of violence was caught on CCTV, which showed the bloodied victim desperately attempting to escape.

Horrified members of the public who witnessed the attack around 9pm on Sunday, May 30 this year called 999 for help.

Two police officers rushed to the scene and wrestled with the attackers, pulling them off the victim and saving his life.

Rashel Hussain was arrested at the scene while the others fled. But detectives later rounded up the other members of the gang.

On Monday they were sentenced to a total of almost 20 years at Snaresbrook Crown Court.

Rashel Hussain, 20, was jailed for six years after pleading guilty to grievous bodily harm and violent disorder.

Taharak Hussain, 21, got seven years for grievous bodily harm.

His non-identical twin Jubhare, 21, received a two year sentence for violent disorder.
Two other gang members, Shofiqul Islam, 21, got a two year sentence and Shah Alom, 22, was sentenced to 27 months for violent disorder.

Let me tell you just how frightened some are of the law and the police.  If you are aware of the “student” riots last month, here’s something you probably didn’t
know.  One of the very left groups, not all students btw, give points for damage to property, maybe 50 points for assaulting an officer, 100 points for injury and drawing blood. I haven’t a clue what they do with the points but what I’m saying is, does that sound like a society in control of itself? Does that look to you like a culture in charge?  Does that look like a country that’s pointed in the right direction?  Not to me it doesn’t.  Vandals do their best to rile and entangle the cops doing their job, bullying cops if I can use that term and it sure looks like bullying. But cops aren’t supposed to smack em down. It ok to spit at a cop and then sue the city if the cop defends himself cos as we all know, cops are all guilty all the time.  I really am sick to tears of all the BS flung about and the useless thugs of all colors running the show.  The state may be holding them off somewhat. But what the state is not doing, is fighting back.  They won’t even use water canon on rioters, I have read.  What does that tell you?

And I haven’t even started on the unions. I’ll leave that for another time.

update on yestyerday’s update … illegal scum allowed to stay

I recently did a ranting post on justice or lack thereof, in regard to a couple of cases here in the UK.

I can’t let go of this story. It bothers me that much.

And just for the official record.
I would hate this miserable and worthless pile of useless shit if he were a WASP.  The crime isn’t worse because he belongs to a protected minority, it’s sadder and it’s worse because it did not have to end with the painful, lingering death of a 12 year old girl.
The more I see this kind of thing, the more convinced I am that nothing short of a police force with the powers of a Gestapo will bring relief and order and an end to this sort of madness.

There needs to be wholesale slaughter of the left.  Examples made publicly to reinforce the idea that criminality will not be tolerated, nobody will be called Mister in jail, the reinstatement of the death penalty with NO appeal in cases like this one.  Lawyers wanting to defend scum like this shot dead.  The closing of borders to more immigration except for highly skilled.  Current prisoners being held for violent crimes to be eliminated. 
An END to political asylum.  ALL illegals deported or shot. Choice is theirs and only five minutes to decide.  Churchmen who think hiding illegals a good thing, eliminated.  It’s a start.  But of course we all know full well it won’t happen. Well, maybe if some libtard judges and politicians become victims, but what needs to be done will not be done and so look for more stories like this very sad and depressing case.

I was and like many others here, am still angered and outraged that an originally illegal immigrant with a long criminal record, has been given the freedom to settle in this country.  As bad, he killed that little girl and received only four months in jail. Four months for a man who wiped out the future of a little kid.

He was not even supposed to be driving in the first place, having already been in trouble for unlicensed driving, driving minus ins. and other offenses.
But the miserable muslim bastard took no notice of course because no doubt western infidel laws don’t apply to him.

Well anyway, as already reported his human (?) rights have to be protected and so he won’t be deported. I can not help but wonder if he’s now on benefits.

After leaving jail he was right back to his old tricks again. And why not?  He’s beaten the system thus far, and the system has been found to have no teeth.

Here’s a partial update to my update and the rest is at the link as always. My blood still boils over this case. Read the Prime Minister’s letter at the link as well. It won’t make anyone feel any better. The gremlins really do have the upper hand, and as Pat Condell points out with regularity, these bastards are on a roll.

It actually starts in 2001 when the slimy muslim filth snuck into this country as an illegal.

2002:  Caution for criminal damage.

Jan. 2003:  Fined for driving without insurance, license or vehicle registration.

June 2003: Six month ban for the same offenses.

Oct. 2003:  Banned for further nine months for driving without ins. license, and bad tire tread.

Nov. 2003: Driving while banned, he kills girl. He is sentenced to four months in prison.

2004:  Convicted of possession of cannabis.

2005:  Caution for burglary and theft.

2006:  Convicted of driving while disqualified and without insurance. Given two year supervision order, banned from driving for three years and given a curfew.

2009:  Convicted of harassment.

once you grasp the idea that it’s about ‘human rights,’ you’ll feel better about the stupidity.

Right. Sure you will.

Leading off I can’t ignore the subject matter of this even tho I haven’t got a link. And lord knows I have tried every which way.
Since a previous post I did said all I had to say I’ll just give you the lunatic facts of the case.
Here’s the headline I saw in the Telegraph, but as usual for them, no on line copy that I could locate,

FAMILY OF DEAD DRUG MULE CAN SUE CUSTOMS, SAY JUDGES

So here’s what essentially happened.
A professional drug smuggler swallowed 116 packages of raw cocaine.  He was arrested as he was about to go thru customs in London after arriving on a flight from Brazil.  The packets showed up clearly on x-ray. At the hospital he was taken to, he refused all food or drink for a week in an attempt to stop the drugs passing out of his system. Just after he gave up his hunger strike, he died.  Scratch one gremlin.
His name was Anthony Daniel, the paper reports. His wife is ... Ayesha Al Hassen-Daniel.  Just thought I’d add that for whatever.
Well, she and his father are now suing for a “substantial” amount, but they claim it isn’t about money.  Nooooooo.  It’s to do with “RIGHTS.” Isn’t it always?
Their lawyers say there were violations of his rights under the Euro-pee-on Convention on Human Rights.

Now then, in spite of the fact that this Daniel fella was the person responsible for his own demise, apparently the law allows for a law suit altho a high court judge say that he doubts the family can win its case. BUT, of course the Customs service will have to spend money defending itself. Won’t it?

I think in a case like this, it should be allowed but with a difference.  If the Customs people win .... then the lawyers for the family should be put against a wall and shot graveyard dead!  If the family wins .... then add the family to the wall along with the lawyers and stop their breathing also.
That might put the brakes on similar cases waiting for a hearing or trial. 

Now then .... as long as the subject is human rights, and lets please stay with the topic cos things really do get dumber ... I offer you these.
This next item is kind of a surprise because I never thought a female would approve of this.

Sex offenders including paedophiles should be allowed to adopt

Rules which bar sex offenders from working with children are ‘unfair’ and even convicted paedophiles should have the right to adopt, a leading legal academic has said.

Helen Reece, a reader in law at the London School of Economics, called on Theresa May, the Home Secretary, to relax rules which automatically ban sex offenders from caring for children, saying that this could breach their human rights.

In an article in the respected Child and Family Law Quarterly, Miss Reece suggested that reoffending rates were not high among sex criminals, adding: “despite growing public concern over paedophilia, the numbers of child sex murders are very low.”
A review is currently ongoing into the Vetting and Barring Scheme, introduced following the 2002 Soham murders, amid concerns by ministers that it is too heavy handed.

In her article, Miss Reece suggested that the review should also introduce an assumption that sex offenders including child abusers posed no threat once they had served their sentence.
She said: “There is no reason why all sex offenders should not be considered as potentially suitable to adopt or foster children, or work with them.
“The Vetting and Barring Scheme and other legislative measures single out sex offenders for unfair special treatment and they destroy the principle that a prisoner pays his or her debt by serving their sentence before re-entering society on equal terms.”

Individuals are placed on the “Barred List” and banned from working with youngsters or vulnerable adults if they are convicted of a sexual or violent offence, or one involving the mistreatment of a child.

Miss Reece criticised the rules for leading all sex offenders to be “tarred with the same brush,” saying that while “careful screening” was “important,” the issuing of a “blanket ban” violated the rights of criminals who wanted to adopt or work with young people.

She highlighted the case of a grandfather with a conviction for having sex with a 15-year-old dating back to when he was 29, who was refused permission to adopt his own grandchildren.

The ban could contravene the principle of non-discrimination enshrined in the European Convention on Human Rights, and may leave the Government open to legal challenge, Miss Reece warned.

OK, before making up your mind on the issue, read the entire story.  There might be places where she may be correct. BUT ...

“re-offending rates were not high among sex criminals” and “the numbers of child sex murders are very low”

Come on. If you’re a parent, hearing that the numbers of murders are low or that the re-offending rate isn’t high, is still not reassuring. Is it? And does anyone want to take the responsibility of the risk with regard to allowing a sex offender to have kids in their care?
Pedophiles and kids somehow do no strike me as a thing to aspire to. I don’t know if it’s really a sickness but think whatever else it might be, it’s a terrible evil.  Just doesn’t sit well.

So while we’re on the subject of “human rights” even tho all too often the ppl involved aren’t human at all ... here’s an update on an older story with no surprise.  Remember now ... it’s okay cos it’s all about “RIGHTS!”

Failed asylum seeker who left girl, 12, to die after crash can stay in UK as deporting him would ‘breach his human rights’

A failed asylum seeker who left a 12-year-old girl dying under the wheels of his car while banned from driving will be allowed to remain in the UK, judges ruled today.

Aso Mohammed Ibrahim, 33, an Iraqi Kurd, was jailed for four months over the 2003 crash which cost Amy Houston her life.

Her father, Paul Houston, 41, begged judges at a recent deportation hearing to bring ‘my seven years of hell to an end’ by sending Ibrahim back to Iraq.

Today two senior immigration judges rejected a final appeal by the UK Border Agency to have him deported. Ibrahim will now be allowed to live in the UK permanently.

The UK Border Agency said they were ‘extremely disappointed’ with the decision - and that Ibrahim should have been removed.

The Upper Tribunal of the Immigration and Asylum Chamber sitting in Manchester also heard Ibrahim, given leave to remain in the UK, had a string of criminal convictions.

Ibrahim’s lawyers argued that his human rights would be impinged if he was sent back to Iraq.

Mr Houston was left to make the decision to turn off her life support machine hours after the crash in Blackburn, Lancashire, in November 2003.

He has since campaigned to get Ibrahim deported in a tortuous legal battle.

Last month he handed in a letter to judges, containing an impassioned plea asking for Ibrahim to be deported.

Mr Houston, from Darwen, Lancashire, said he was ‘frustrated and angry’ at the decision.

‘I’m really angry. We should all be angry. It is a ridiculous state of affairs,’ he said.

‘They are obsessed with the rights of others from Pakistan, Afghanistan and Iraq. Where are my human rights?

‘This man is a criminal, do we have no say who we allow in this country?

‘He’s not a life-saving surgeon or a Nobel prize winner. He was a criminal before, a criminal now and he will continue being a criminal.

‘The Human Rights Act is for everybody, not just asylum seekers and terrorists.

‘How can he say he’s deprived of his right to a family life? The only person deprived of a family life is me. Amy was my only family.’

Ibrahim’s lawyers claimed human rights laws permitted him to remain in the country, as his right to life and to family life trumped attempts to return him to his native Iraq.

Mr Houston was not allowed to address judges at the last appeal hearing.

Lawyers for the Border Agency asked for Ibrahim to be deported on the grounds that the judge who originally allowed Ibrahim leave to remain on the basis of his right to a family life did so incorrectly.

Although he now has two children, there was little evidence to suggest he was living at the same address so could not claim a right to family life, it was argued.

The judges were also told of Ibrahim’s convictions, including a further incident of driving while disqualified in 2006, harassment and possession of drugs.

But Senior Immigration Judges Lane and Taylor, in a reserved judgment made public today, rejected the Border Agency appeal.

They said the original decision should stand but added that the outcome might well have been different if the process to remove Ibrahim had begun before he had children.

I have managed to survive a nerve wracking bunch of unholy puter problems that have turned the air blue here.  It all started with MSFT’s monthly Tuesday patch which arrives here on Wed. Well heck, things sort of working okay now but the air is still blue cos ....
I keep finding things like this.  I very much doubt this creep will win his case. It may never actually get to court. In fact, I don’t even blame the guy for what he’s doing, simply because the system not only allows it but many believe it encourages it.

He’s a postman. He is in jail for committing murder. Naturally he’s let go by the postal service.

Former postman serving life for stabbing mistress to death sues Royal Mail for SACKING him

Roger Kearney, 57, was sentenced to at least 15 years behind bars earlier this year after he stabbed his mistress, Paula Poolton, 40, seven times and left her body in the boot of her car.

The postman lost his $600-a-week job following the conviction but is today launching legal action from behind bars in an attempt to receive compensation for his dismissal.

Royal Mail bosses are furious that the ‘twisted’ employment case, which is listed for hearing today, is going ahead and see it as a huge waste of their time and money.
The case has also created a political storm, with MPs slamming it as a ‘ludicrous’ indictment of the legal system.

Critics say the case demonstrates how prisoners are becoming increasingly audacious in complaints about their ‘rights’ following the recent decision to grant them the vote.

Kearney will not receive taxpayer-funded legal aid as this is not granted for employment tribunals but defending the case will come at an expense to the Royal Mail in legal fees.

Conservative MP Philip Davies said: ‘This is completely outrageous. On what basis is he suing? The Government needs to clamp down on these ludicrous cases.
‘It makes the system a complete and utter joke. His employers will have had to spend money defending their case. It is ludicrous that they should have to spend time and money on this.

‘After giving prisoners the vote, this is an example that they now want to further flex their muscles.’

Former Tory home affairs spokesman Ann Widdecombe added: ‘This is so ludicrous it doesn’t bear thinking about. He can’t possibly report for work for the duration of his sentence. He’s not available to work through his own fault.’

The Royal Mail staunchly defended its right to fire the murderer. Sources said bosses are furious they have to fund defending the case, even though they have been assured Kearney will not be successful in his attempts to seek compensation.

A Royal Mail spokesman said: ‘Mr Kearney’s dismissal was in accordance with our very comprehensive employment procedures.

‘Royal Mail will defend its position vigorously at this tribunal.

It just make us so damn angry that things can be carried so far beyond common sense.  How the hell can people who are otherwise well educated (we thought) and intelligent, (we assumed) allow things like the prisoner votes, the order to call killers Mister, to allow law suits for hurt feelings, and now this case. How? Surely there has to be more people who see the stupidity then don’t. I just don’t get it.  How could a handful (a large handful admittedly) of bleeding heart libtards of the left, manage to bring these things about?  Mind boggling.

Teachers, riots, studen demands and anarchists who promise more violence

One of the student rioters caught pissing against a famous and revered war memorial, said he was sorry but that he didn’t know what he was pissing on or that it had that significance.
No big deal?  Well, apparently he’s also a history major as I understand the report. School days, school days ....
Most have a very low opinion of the rioters BUT, even the kids who did try to be peaceful need to put their thinking caps on with regard to the increased fees the riots were ‘supposed to be about.’ They are NOT reading everything about it that they should. Why not?
Maybe this is a contributing factor. Ya think? I mean after all, their education had to start someplace and schools seem to be the logical place. Home aside.

One in four trainee teachers is a dunce: Thousands struggle to pass simple literacy and numeracy tests

Almost one in four trainee teachers cannot do simple sums and a fifth have problems with spelling, grammar and punctuation, worrying figures revealed yesterday.

Thousands repeatedly flunk basic numeracy and literacy tests and seek unlimited resits to pass.

Critics fear the poor quality of the next generation of teachers will have a devastating impact on their pupils.

Trainees have to pass basic skills tests in literacy, numeracy and ICT (information and communication technology) before they can qualify as teachers. The pass marks are just 60 per cent.

The latest figures from the Training and Development Agency for Schools (TDA) reveal that in 2008/9 33,517 trainees passed their numeracy and literacy tests.

Some 77.7 per cent passed their numeracy test first time; 9.5 per cent (3,190) made two attempts and 12.8 per cent (4,298) – or one in eight – had at least three attempts.

In literacy, 80 per cent (26,814) passed first time; 11.6 per cent (3,892) had two attempts and 8.4 per cent had at least three.

The figures do not detail how many times trainees resit the tests beyond three. However one is reported to have taken the tests 27 times before achieving the pass rate.

Standards were far higher five years ago when would-be teachers sailed through their tests without relying on retakes.

For example, of the 32,717 trainees who passed their numeracy test in the academic year 2003/4, a respectable 83.6 per cent did so first time.

It is disheartening to read reports like the one published on Wed. in the Mail, comparing Brit schools with other countries.  The subject was dumbing down.
For example.

READING in the top 30 countries.
UK ranked 25

MATHS top 30 countries
UK ranked 28

SCIENCE top 20 countries
UK ranked 16

Would care to take a guess who was FIRST? 

In ALL the above the top scores went to ...  Shanghai-China

Number two in READING was South Korea
Number two in MATHS was Singapore
Number two in SCIENCE was Finland

All other top scores (top 10) were Chinese again (Hong Kong) (Taipei) Finland, Canada, Japan, Netherlands

Well lets get back to the students herein England.  There are always splinter groups making demands for things whenever you have situations like the ones during this past week.
Here are a couple of things some students want.  Or in this case don’t want and say so.

They do not want SPORTS funding to be cut.
They do not want ART funding to be cut. 

There’s a third but I will be darned if I can recall what it is. I must be having a senior moment.

Meanwhile ... while I try to remember what the heck the 3rd was but making no promises, I offer you this.

Student “leaders” promise more violence in coming weeks AND ... Praise any protester who” landed a blow to a copper -a brick through a window or a dent in car.” They are working class heroes, it is claimed.

They also claim that it was the police who started the riots. They also say, “In order to win, we need more violence on the streets, more hospitalised coppers, and many more attacks on the royals.”

Oh, by the way ... as mentioned under comments elsewhere .....

The Cenotaph, Churchill… how young thugs broke every taboo

In a grotesque insult to those who championed the very freedoms which allowed them to stage their protest, a baying rabble of masked and hooded troublemakers turned a student demonstration into anarchy yesterday.

They defiled a statue of Winston Churchill by urinating on it, ripped flags from the Cenotaph ­– the nation’s sacred memorial to those who died in the name of liberty – then lit fires and sprayed slogans on the ground in the shadow of the Houses of Parliament.

The physical victims of their violence, inevitably, were the police.

But the casualties of a day when so few were allowed to hijack a legitimate protest were respect and common decency.

From the bottles of urine they hurled aloft, to the scaffolding poles and increasingly dangerous missiles they threw, democracy was held in contempt.

Windows were smashed at the Supreme Court building. Even the Christmas tree in Trafalgar Square – a symbol of peace and goodwill – became a focus for senseless vandalism.

Once again, it was the actions of a minority which overpowered all attempts to keep this protest peaceful.

Every symbol of government or establishment became a target. Anything to hand became a missile.

I saw wood, metal, paint-bombs and smoke canisters hurled at male and female officers.

Police horses were beaten with sticks and at least one iron bar when a section of fencing was used to repel a line of mounted officers.

One of them suffered a serious neck injury after being trampled when he fell from the saddle. At least two other officers were badly hurt.

The irony of attacking and defacing monuments to the freedom which allowed this demonstration to take place clearly escaped the mob. In a sinister echo of the anti-capitalist riots ten years ago, protesters donned black balaclavas to carry out their assault.

Just as then, Churchill’s statue on Parliament Green, decorated in 2000 with a Mohican haircut made from vandalised turf, became a focus. And the plinth became a toilet.

Someone climbed up the base and gave a clenched-fist salute to a cheering crowd. Someone else went to spray graffiti on the inscription.

When cops are injured the outcry is a whisper. But let one of these rotten shits get a hair mussed and it’s Nazi Germany Gestapo beating up on helpless unarmed students.  Yeah well, maybe it’s time this country and ours too should take a second serious look at the old Gestapo. Anyone want to guess the outcome of a demonstration like this in Germany 1940? You can’t anyway because it would never have gotten this far. Why?  Because people understood that there might, no would, be a price to pay. And that’s exactly how you end this kind of thing once and for all.  You don’t fight this kind of anarchy with civil rights lawyers and human rights legislation.  You fight it with a ruthless ferocity that takes no prisoners where there’s clear evidence of guilt.  You make certain their friends witness their suffering with an unspoken warning. The rest will get the message.

one hell of a sad/bad day as German Schools Embrace Islam.

This is some of the worst possible news I could have read today.  The other being the vote in the US on immigration. That wasn’t too encouraging either.

Gee, with so much to be thankful for, and honest, I really am, why am I feeling like the world is coming to an end?
What am I saying?  The world I grew up in sure wasn’t perfect. Far from it.  But it wasn’t politically correct and I hate that term btw. And I hate the people who somehow have gained the power to enforce it. Anyway, the world I grew up in is certainly over. I’m happy about losing the bad parts, but did we also have to toss away the good?

Anyway ... here tonight’s horror story and I’m not trying to be funny.  The fellow who wrote this sure does have it all right.  I hope you will read every line of this editorial.

There is little doubt west European governments are engaged in a form of social suicide. Rather than increased efforts to integrate Muslims into German society, to cite one example, German students will be taught about Islam. In a sense German educators will be engaged in proselytizing for Islam.

The German state of Lower Saxony will start including Islam in its schools’ core curriculum as part of an initiative to counter growing anti-Islam sentiment in Europe. Dr. Bernd Althusmann, Minister of Education in Lower Saxony, announced that schools in the state will start including Islamic education in their main curriculum. “I think we will be able to start implementation by the academic year after the next,” Althusmann said during a visit to an elementary school in the city of Hanover which offers an Islamic education class.

Justifying this approach, Juergen Zoeliner, Berlin Minister for Education, Science and Research, notes, “For years, society and schools have been faced with a variety of new duties and challenges. One of these big challenges is to have people from different traditions, cultural and religion affiliations living together peacefully and respectfully.”

Of course, whether the program in question leads ultimately to a peaceful result is questionable. One might well ask why did the armies of Europe turn back the Turks at the gates of Vienna 500 years ago when programs, like those instituted in Germany, are handing Islam the keys to the future.

German shame over Nazi atrocities has made Hitler’s heritage the end of German history and identity. But should this shame be replaced by preemptive capitulation to a religion with a relentless imperial impulse?

To be sure the Salafists, with Saudi funding, will follow up on their efforts in the schools. But will the full story of Islam be told including the stoning of adulterers, the execution of homosexuals, polygamy, apostasy as a capital offense and the belief that Jews are the offspring of apes and pigs?

It is instructive that “diversity education” is predicated on the belief that we in the West have on obligation to understand Islam. However, the reverse doesn’t follow. One might presume that Muslims in the West should come to know and appreciate Western Civilization. Moreover, students who are not versed in the history and customs of the polity they find themselves in will be handicapped. Yet curiously integration, that was once the overarching strategy for dealing with immigrants, has been replaced by cultural pluralism, “from the one, many” instead of “from the many, one.”

In Germany and throughout western Europe there is an effort to bend over backwards to accommodate the Islamic population.

In the process, this effort produces results that counter good intentions. First, the Islamic population believes, with considerable confirmation, that Europeans do not possess the will to assert the importance of their own culture and traditions. Second, the insertion of Islam into German schools suggests tacitly that Islam is on the rise and cannot be denied even in non-Islamic nations.

Preemptive capitulation is nothing more than an attenuated form of defeat. It is noteworthy that Islamic leaders recognize it in this way. The aggressive stance taken by Islamic leaders in Europe is based to an extraordinary degree on the flexibility and weakness of those who might defend the West.

Not that very many people ever read this far down, but this blog was the creation of Allan Kelly and his friend Vilmar.
