Anarcho Tyranny

I’ve been waiting for this essay.

After several decades of speaking out against leftism, media bias, PC, thought control, cancel culture, educational indoctrination, and all the other forms and instances of radical leftism, Michelle Malkin appears to have reached her limit.

In case you didn’t know, the other day she and several other speakers were assaulted by BLM/Antifa while trying to speak at a pro-police rally in Denver. The event obviously had plenty of cops in the audience, and plenty more on duty to provide security. Yet when the crazed loonies attacked, they stood around and did nothing.

“To protect and serve” ... their masters, the ones signing their paychecks.

I think Michelle has reached her limit. I know I have.

The America you grew up in is not the America we live in now. One nation under God? Ha.  Land of the free? Ha.  Domestic tranquility? Ha.

Equal protection under the law? Ha.  The right to bear arms? Ha.  Freedom of speech? Association? Peaceable assembly? Ha. Ha. Ha.

It’s not “socialism” or “communism” under which we suffer. Our dangerously chaotic, selectively oppressive predicament is more accurately described as “anarcho-tyranny.”

The toxic combination of “pandemic panic” and “George Floyd derangement syndrome” has thoroughly destroyed the home of the brave. It is a paradise for the depraved and dictatorial.

Where do the police stand in this regime? It pains me to say it, but those of us who have backed the blue so loyally and vocally can no longer do so under the assumption that the blue will back us.

It’s rank-and-file cops who are issuing citations to citizens who want to breathe freely. It’s rank-and-file cops who are standing by while our monuments and courthouses and landmarks are burned and obliterated.

It was rank-and-file cops in Denver who watched as my patriotic friends and I tried to hold a Law Enforcement Appreciation Day this past Sunday and were besieged by Black Lives Matter and antifa thugs who had declared that their sole intent in invading our permitted celebration was to “shut us down.” I livestreamed the chaos as pro-police attendees were beaten, including the organizer Ron MacLachlan, who was bloodied in the face and head just a few feet from me by black-masked animals. One antifa actor wielded her collapsible baton just inches from me.

No cops intervened.

… the message is loud and clear. When push comes to bloody shove in end-stage America, under the rule of the anarcho-tyrants, we, the law-abiding, are the enemy.
Those in uniform sworn to protect and serve will turn their backs on us because their bosses don’t answer to the public. They protect and serve the mob.

They used to say that a conservative is a liberal who has been mugged. Malkin is no liberal in the modern sense of the word, never has been. But I think she’s been a believer up until now. And tomorrow?

None of this is anything new. We’ve seen it coming for more than 25 years, even if the term itself isn’t quite that old ...

[ 2004 ] We see the drift in this country, with the Patriot Act and its spawn at airports and in random searches of law-abiding citizens—all because our own overclass will not enforce standing laws against illegal immigration and does nothing to halt the transformation of American society by millions of aliens.

Unwilling to control immigration and the cultural disintegration it causes, the authorities instead control the law-abiding.

This is precisely the bizarre system of misrule I have elsewhere described as “anarcho-tyranny"—we refuse to control real criminals (that’s the anarchy) so we control the innocent (that’s the tyranny).

Because that’s easy. Example: Gun control for the law abiding, but do nothing to disarm the criminal class. I’m an elected politician, so I have to be seen doing something, so let’s pick the low hanging fruit (and hope nobody sees the backroom deals going on that are making me rich.) Nobody is really watching anyway.

Kentucky Controls The Mob

87 Trespassing Threatening Protesters Arrested In Kentucky

LOUISVILLE, Ky.—Eighty-seven demonstrators who gathered at the home of Kentucky’s attorney general to demand justice for Breonna Taylor have been arrested and charged with a felony for trying to “intimidate” the prosecutor, police said.

Protesters with the social justice organization Until Freedom gathered for a sit-in on the front yard of a Louisville home owned by Kentucky Attorney General Daniel Cameron on Tuesday afternoon, news outlets reported.

They were arrested after refusing to leave and — having been instructed beforehand by protest organizers not to resist — could be seen lining up to await their transfer to jail.

Among those arrested were NFL player Kenny Stills, a wide receiver for the Houston Texans, and Porsha Williams of “Real Housewives of Atlanta.” Several of the protesters were released from jail on Wednesday afternoon.

Taylor, a 26-year-old Black woman, was fatally shot when police officers burst into her Louisville apartment using a no-knock warrant in the early morning hours of March 13 during a narcotics investigation. The warrant to search her home was in connection with a suspect who did not live there and no drugs were found inside.

The shooting set off weeks of protests, policy changes and a call for the officers who shot Taylor to be criminally charged. One officer has been fired, but no charges have been filed. Investigations into the shooting are continuing.

Stills posted on social media Wednesday afternoon that he was “arrested for peacefully protesting. While Breonna Taylor’s murderers are still out on the street.” None of the Louisville officers involved in delivering the warrant at Taylor’s home have been criminally charged.

Cameron, a Republican and Kentucky’s first African American state attorney general, said on Monday that he still has no timeline for when his office will conclude its investigation of the case.

“We are here to hold Daniel Cameron accountable and make sure that he does his job, because he is not doing his job,” said Until Freedom co-founder Linda Sarsour.

Protesters were charged with “intimidating a participant in a legal process,” a class D felony in Kentucky that is punishable from one to five years in prison upon conviction. That charge is related to Cameron’s role as prosecutor of the Taylor investigation.

The protesters were charged with a felony because officers heard them “chanting that if they didn’t get what they want, they would burn it down,” Louisville police said Wednesday afternoon in an emailed statement, referring to Cameron’s house. “That was deemed an attempt to intimidate, persuade or influence the attorney general’s decision,” the statement said.

The protesters were also each charged with disorderly conduct and criminal trespassing, both misdemeanors, said Louisville Metro Police spokesman Lamont Washington.

Cameron said the protest won’t bring justice and “only serves to further division and tension within our community.”

Protest all you want. In the public square. Give your speeches, spread your word. Cool.

Go to somebody’s house, invade their yard, threaten to burn down their home, all to intimidate an official trying to do his job? You’re so busted. I hope every one of these people gets 2 years behind bars.

Burn, Loot, and Maim?

Brown Tide Engulfs FL Walmart: $116K Worth Stolen

Roughly 200 looters stole over $100,000 worth of products from a Tampa, Florida, Walmart on the evening of May 30, according to local law enforcement.

The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office is asking for assistance in identifying the looters, who raided the Walmart Supercenter on East Fletcher Avenue shortly after 9:00 p.m. local time.

Fox 13 reports:

The store was closed due to the police brutality protests occurring outside the University Mall, but people wielding blunt objects like hammers broke the glass entrance doors and stormed into the store.

Footage released by the sheriff’s office shows wave after wave of looters streaming through the front door — past the social-distancing reminders — and ransacking the store’s electronics section, hauling away computers, TVs, and more.

After reviewing the video, detectives believe somewhere around 200 people participated. An estimated $116,000 in merchandise and damages was reported.

“Not only is this violence completely unacceptable, it was disrespectful to the protesters who were out there that night trying to express their message in an impactful way,” Sheriff Chad Chronister said in a statement. “We are actively working to identify each and every one of these suspects and ask the public to provide any information they may have.”

Looting sprees have occurred across the country in the wake of the death of George Floyd, a black man who died while in police custody in Minneapolis. Looting hotspots include New York City, Los Angeles, and St. Paul. Last week, prosecutors in Austin, Texas, charged three individuals linked to Antifa with looting a Target store.

And every one of them is on crystal clear video ( at the link above ). Let’s see if Tampa actually presses charges. Yeah right.




Elsewhere in Tampa

Protests took place on both sides of the bay, with the demonstration in Tampa turning violent overnight.

The destruction was centered around the Busch Gardens and the University Mall area. At one point, the Champs Sports store along Fowler Avenue was engulfed in flames.  That’s right across the street from the mall, where a crowd of protesters had gathered overnight.

Tampa Police Chief Brian Dugan said at least 40 businesses were burglarized and looted and five were set on fire. Plus, he said 27 police cars were vandalized.

Tampa police said they arrested 41 adults and juveniles throughout the night. Some of the juveniles arrested were wearing ankle bracelets. Chief Dugan said there would be a different tone on Sunday. He encouraged anyone who wants to protest peacefully to stay at home.

Hillsborough County deputies arrested an additional seven people for burglary, grand theft, battery on law enforcement officer, carrying a concealed firearm and petit theft.

Two deputies responding to the protests were injured. Both suffered minor injuries and have since been released from the hospital. 15 HCSO vehicles were also damaged during yesterday’s protests.

Doesn’t sound like an actual protest. Sounds like another chimp out crime festival. And they wonder why other people have doubts and attitudes about them?

Good Writing

I found City Journal this morning after thinking of the “four boxes” relative to this national rioting thing, (the four boxes being the soap box, the ballot box, the jury box, and the cartridge box, ) which made me think of Kim Dutoit, the patron saint of so many right leaning blogs, and knowing that he is once again writing although I rarely visit anymore, I clicked over and found the gist of the post I made earlier. OK, I snagged a lot of it. Samizdat-ism. Afterwards, I started reading some of the essays at City Journal, and linked to the States’ Rights one below. 

POINT: Here’s another one, about the rioting and the breakdown in law an order, and how it’s been a long time coming, excused or not ...

On the other hand, the Civil War analogy seems too linear, too coherent, too automatic—a cliché, even. The current outbreak of protests and riots feels like something else—like a sudden, comprehensive event of physics or meteorology, a perfect storm of perfect storms, multilayered and interpenetrating and simultaneous.

The motives at work in the disturbances are mixed and contradictory. So are the moods—a wind-shear of psychologies and attitudes: hysteria, grief, anarchy, frolic, spectacle, revolution, a fest of selfies against a backdrop of flames. Anarchists out of Joseph Conrad’s Secret Agent trade germs with angry blacks and young whites on skateboards or $1,900 bikes. The deadly serious and the deadly unserious appear side by side in the performance.

Unfortunately, a crowd on the march does anger better than it does grief. An angry crowd tends to become a mob, and a mob tends to smash windows, to loot and burn. If that happens, whatever blameless emotion may have prompted the protest in the first place is corrupted into mere power. A mob, turning abusive, will, ironically, imitate the abuse of power that the demonstration was called to protest in the first place. On the other hand, if your intention is to destroy American society, then what’s the problem?

COUNTERPOINT:

The extent to which high elected officials in New York City are willing to excuse the mobs burning and looting the city, and attacking its police officers, is shocking. Even Mayor Bill de Blasio, who is taking enormous heat from the Left for his supposed hard line on policing the “protesters,” makes a point every time he opens his mouth of embracing their demands for “change” and acknowledging their “deep pain.”

Enough already. Peaceful protesters have had several days in which to make themselves and their concerns heard about the death of George Floyd in police custody in Minneapolis. The Antifa hooligans firebombing police vehicles, and the looters gleefully grabbing sneakers, are not only not in mourning, they are having a party. This is a perverse holiday for them, one to which the liberal leaders of our city pay obsequious deference.

New York City’s political class is up in arms today—but not because criminals and arsonists are holding the city hostage. Instead, they’re alarmed because President Trump has pledged to restore order. Any New Yorker who wants safety and order must see de Blasio and the rest of the city’s leadership as abject failures during this crisis. Those who believe, on the other hand, in the transformative potential of chaos should be grateful for his leadership.

Other essays there point out that voting Progressives into office leads to all kinds of problems, from increased crime, to homeless camps full of drugged out street poopers, to frustration in the police departments, to pandering socialist attitudes, to rioting and looting. What we are seeing today is what they have worked a generation to build.

Good writing is always worth a read and a think, whether you agree or not. Which implies it’s worth talking about too. Check it out, talk it out.

A Month Late And A Trillion Short

President Trump Orders US Flags To Half Mast For 3 Days For COVID Deaths

President Donald Trump on Thursday announced that he would order flags to fly at half-staff to memorialize Americans lost to the coronavirus.

“I will be lowering the flags on all Federal Buildings and National Monuments to half-staff over the next three days in memory of the Americans we have lost to the CoronaVirus,” Trump wrote on Twitter.

The president announced his decision after House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) and Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) asked Trump to mark the day when America reached the milestone of 100,000 deaths from the virus.

Pelosi and Schumer wrote in a letter to President Trump:

We will always carry their memory in our hearts. As we pay our respects to them, sadly, our country mourns the deaths of nearly 100,000 Americans from COVID-19. Our hearts are broken over this great loss and our prayers are with their families.

Currently the number of coronavirus deaths in the United States stands at 94,591 according to data tracked by Johns Hopkins University.

The president said that the flags would fly at half-staff on Memorial Day to honor Americans who died serving in the U.S. military.

“On Monday, the flags will be at half-staff in honor of the men and women in our Military who have made the Ultimate Sacrifice for our Nation,” he wrote.

On the one hand, this is a fine, temporary gesture, coming just before Memorial Day when all the flags would be dipped in remembrance anyway.

On the other hand, while it may appear that he is making a bi-partisan gesture, he is being manipulated by Pelosi and Schumer, essentially admitting defeat. That’s not what he’s doing, but that’s how the MSM and millions of people will see it.

On the third hand, this is all “a day late and a dollar short” to me, as all the states around me have been flying the flag low for so long now. For a day or two, it’s a fine thing. For more than a month, it’s defeatism. yes, there has been the days set aside for police memorial, but most of this has been for coronavirus deaths. And that bugs me. All the other deaths from all the other illnesses, accidents, old age, etc, far outstrip the somewhat nebulous numbers of “covid caused, covid related, covid suspected” victims. It begins to feel like a con. Defeatism. Keep the sheep sad and they stay in line longer. And I’m getting damn sick and tired of that.

In New Jersey, all state flags and U.S. flags are being flown at half-staff indefinitely in memory of the people who have lost their lives to the coronavirus outbreak. The proclamation was placed by Gov. Philip D. Murphy on April 3 and is still ongoing

In New York, all flags on state government buildings will fly at half-staff indefinitely while the state is “on pause” due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Gov. Andrew Cuomo announced on April 8.

In Pennsylvania, Gov. Tom Wolf has ordered that all commonwealth flags on commonwealth facilities, public buildings, and public grounds fly at half staff indefinitely in honor of the victims of the 2019 novel coronavirus. The proclamation was put into place on April 8.

A gesture overused loses meaning, impact, and importance. This extended “act of mourning” is no more than empty virtue signalling. This offends me, as a significant tradition is being besmirched. Watered down to nothing. And every one of the states doing it is run by Democrats.

Oh boy, do I have something for you..... well, I and our friends over at Legal Insurrection.

The book version of this has been out for quite some time, and has probably been familiar to several of you.

Well, the people behind it decided to put the story into a video format and release it ABSOLUTELY FREE. So now watch it. it clocks in at over an hour, but the knowledge is priceless.

I don’t really have much I can say to add to this, beyond maybe some of my own input. Pencil out some time and watch this. Because there are some people that Truth needs to reach out of its’ shell and bite in the rear to see what we see.

Obviously Not A History Major

Alexander McQueen always made handbags to die for. But would he approve of one that he could have, literally, died for?

Hopefully he would, because an artist wants to make a leather handbag using the designer’s skin.

Tina Gorjanc, from Central Saint Martin’s art school, has produced a project, complete with patents, describing plans to use DNA extracted from McQueen’s hair to make his skin in a laboratory using cutting-edge biotechnology.

At present growing enough skin to craft a full handbag would probably be prohibitively expensive, although arguably not compared with what McQueen, who died in 2010, used to charge…

Maybe they should start smaller, with a couple book covers, or lampshades.

Holy smokes, do they teach absolutely NOTHING in school these days?

Nope. Nothing.

McQueen himself was a whacked out freak, his “darkly creative” works often being the macabre stuff of nightmares. It’s not that “I don’t get it”; I do. I just know that that kind of it needs to be hunted down and killed, then the ground beneath it burned sterile. He was a sick-ass mofo who should have been locked in the rubber room since early childhood.

But still. This Pure Human project takes his mental illness a step even further. Sure, art can often be all about stretching the borders, but when your creations fall into the realm of Arts and Crafts Day at the Third Reich you’ve gone too goddamn far.

Part art, part macabre science project, Pure Human will use authenticated DNA of McQueen to grow human skin. Goranjc will then tan the skin and use it to create jackets and bags. The human-made leather may in fact be the ultimate luxury commodity—unlike animal leather, it will be susceptible to sunburn which may give each piece a unique look and feel. She used pig skin to simulate the final process for her St. Martin’s graduate collection, where she was runner-up for a creative talent award for the project.

At first blush, the proposal may seem whimsical, but Goranjc’s concept is dead serious: she has applied for a patent for a process that extracts the DNA, implants it into a cell culture and harvests the cells for skin tissue.

When Thinx launched their line of absorbent underwear for periods, they used a slogan that seemed to make sense: “For women with periods.” But as they heard from more and more customers who felt left out by that branding, they realized that women aren’t the only ones who menstruate.

“We kept getting gentle reminders from people that it’s not just women with periods,” Miki Agrawal, founder and CEO of Thinx, tells Yahoo Canada. In response, the company spent a year developing a boyshort product in consultation with trans men and non-binary people who might use it. The resulting underwear, which resembles men’s boxer briefs but has the same absorbent fabric as their more traditionally feminine underwear, is meant to be worn instead of pads or tampons, or as back-up for those products.

Now the new slogan for Thinx is “For people with periods” and one of their campaigns features model Sawyer DeVuyst, who is a trans man. And the company is working on introducing more gender-neutral products in the future, Agrawal says.

The Thinx campaign is one of few acknowledgements from the sanitary products industry that menstruation doesn’t just happen to cisgender [ ie “normal” ] women. There are trans men who have to deal with their periods as well as non-binary people who menstruate.

“We’re inclusive of everyone with a period—men, women, it doesn’t matter. We wanted to have it be expressed in a ten-foot poster,” Agrawal says. “If you have a period, we’ve got you.”

Josh, a trans man, didn’t continue menstruating for long after starting to take testosterone - about one cycle, he says. But though he didn’t experience serious dysphoria as a result of menstruation, he was fine with seeing it go.

“I was just happy to be done with it and didn’t really have to deal with going to buy tampons while my body was getting more masculine,” he says.

Josh, born a WOMAN, stopped getting her period after saturating her body with male hormones. Duh. “Stevee”, born a MAN, got doped full of female hormones, had implant surgery, cut off his dick and had a rubber pussy sewn on, BUT NEVER HAD “HER” PERIOD because Stevee is a man, and thus has no damn uterus. STFU you freaks.

Yes, I am making “Stevee” up. He’s not in the story. But he’d never need a tampon and he’d never need a panty liner. With or without wings.

Obama throws Orlando Victims under the Bus

As if we weren’t already reeling from all this death already. Both on this site and in general. The floor of the Pulse Club at Orlando is still awash in blood, the local hospitals still have people from Mateen’s shooting rampage in them, Israelis are mourning yet more murdered by The Usual Perpetrators, Bangladesh has Jihadis killing Hindus, Peiper has passed on… and honestly you just wish for a time in the world to not cry and cry and cry.

Much less spend hours trying to contact family friends living in that neck of the woods on the off chance things aren’t ok with them. But boy oh Boy, do we have a treat for you....

Have you ever wondered what things might have been like if- in the face of clear and present threats- the government refused to acknowledge the threat by its’ name? Well, we no longer have to because that’s the situation we live in, and have been living in for the *past Eight YEARS.* Now they’ve just made it clear how deep that goes, even when the butchers come for the “LGBTwhatever” community that is supposed to be a preserve- and set of special snowflake clients- for the Left. In the days since the mass murders, Obama has failed the American people so crushingly. Let us count the ways:

1. Not bothered to identify the Orlando shooter- or any of the perpetrators lately- by ideology or name.

2. Refused to give any statements or plans on how we will counterattack said ideological godfathers of this crime.

3. Called for yet more restrictions on our Second Amendment Right, which will make it even HARDER for the supposedly precious LGBTs- and everyone else- to defend themselves against an atrocity like this.

The more incompetent the Obama administration becomes, the less convincing its demand for public disarmament will be. Conversely, the more competence the administration demonstrates, the more likely the public is to entrust its safety to it.

Historically, state failure drives civilian armament, not the other way around. Perhaps the clearest example of this trend is Lebanon, where the inability of the central government to protect the sectarian communities has led each to protect itself. While America is not Lebanon, the same principles hold true: competence inspires confidence, and there is precious little competence in the administration.

Other people have covered this much, much better than I can. So please, I encourage you, check them. Victor Davis Hanson, Neo-Neocon, Ace of Spades, and the incomparable Mark Steyn (as well as Fernandez) have all given incredibly valuable things on this, but linking them all and giving juicy excerpts would probably bulk this post up too much. But as for where my input comes in.... I have had my misgivings with Trump and still do, but I will say that I have been very, very impressed by how he has preformed here. Both in terms of how he has skillfully covered the issue (I do think he has been a rather sharp political operator lately), but on the moral and ethical issues. He did not HESITATE to identify the ideology that drove this atrocity and call out Obama for both trying to disarm law abiding American citizens using it and the disproportionate anger the manchild in chief had for him over *the man who murdered American citizens.* My recitation here can’t do it justice, so please read it too.

But of course, soon after he pointed it out you had the usual talking heads, apologists, and spin doctors get on their high horses to try and say “What’s the big deal?” That it really really really doesn’t matter if Obama or others use the term “Jihadist”, “Islamist”, “Radical Islam”, or- God Forbid- Islam itself to describe the perpetrator or his motivations. Or to quote Obama’s former rival, Secretary of State, and current (grudging) heir, “What difference – at this point, what difference does it make?”

Well, I’ll tell you. Because all of these supposedly genius, big brained individuals are burning a lot of calories and doing a lot of mental gymnastics to try and avoid dealing with something that is really *Very, VERY simple.*

To avoid getting too deep into the linguistics (because I am not sure i know enough about it), words are a medium for conveying meaning. We use them to communicate concepts, ideas, and thoughts. I say “water” and you know I’m talking about what you drink. I say “Moss” and you know to look at green stuff growing on a rock.

I write “Pet” and you look to your pets.

And if I write OR say “cowardly dipshit” you look to the White House.

So the words you use are important for what kinds of concepts you convey, and thus what the nature of your message is. This is also relevant for the words you DON’T use. I’m *PROBABLY* not going to talk about a disaster where a bridge collapsed the exact same way if it was brought down because of construction flaws as if it was collapsed by a Bomb. Both are tragedies and both feature very similar chain of events, but one was an accident or negligence, the other is MASS MURDER.

And likewise, I am not going to blame the construction company for the collapse if it was primarily caused by a terrorist bomb, and I’m not going to call the construction company “terrorists” in the event they were to blame (even if they were massive douchebags whose actions claimed many lives).

Identifying the cause of the tragedy, its’ perpetrators (where there are any), and the motive for why they acted the way they did are CRITICAL to understanding why it happened, how it happened, and HOW IT COULD BE PREVENTED. As well as notifying the public of these facts and educating them on any threats they face, whether from depraved corruption in the meat industry, bad contractors, or totalitarian ideologies that want to murder or enslave us all.

Obama and his minions either don’t get this or are trying very very very hard to pretend they don’t.

But enough of me talking; let’s imagine what might have happened if other Presidents that came before took a similar approach to Obama. Let’s make a game out of it. I’ll stick some Obama-ated historical quotes below the cut. Can you guess A: The enemy it was originally referring to, and B: Who said it? I’m not even going to pick on the low hanging fruit and show how the other party has done it; For the sake of it, let’s limit ourselves to other Democrats.

Joe Biden would have made the best President… According to Joe Biden

Well, I’ve gone through one broken computer, one bed lost, a whole bunch of fidgety password recovery time, and a cold bordering on flu I’m stuck in the middle of. But I’m back.

It’s been too long, but I’m back.

So, how shall we celebrate?

Well, I’ll think I’ll start with a crowd pleaser on one of our favorite scumbags. And since it has been too long in my books since BMEWS has done it, I would like to propose an awarding of the BARKING MOONBAT AWARD, backdated to the appropriate time/week for this.

No, not Hitlery or Obummer sadly enough, but someone who is less powerful and more feckless but Really, REALLY should get more scorn than he has. And who I think needs to have his statements put under a floodlight given the latest report (which I’ll try and cover in a bit) that might make even the DNC think about a Clinton run.

I am talking about Lyin’ Joe Biden. Who earlier this month decided to put THIS lovely article up through some of the usual lap dogs. Read if you’ve got a strong stomach.

Because I really, Really don’t think it could fit anywhere better than this. Because the world has been way too kind to someone liek Joe Biden in the ways that matter to the public at large (and arguably given the death of his son a bit too harsh in the other ways, but as a citizen of this republic I have to prioritize what matters to The Public Thing than private grief).

We already Knew Biden was stupid and incompetent. This should not be a controversial thing to say; he was the person BOTH SIDES OF THE AISLE joked about being Obama’s living anti-assassination insurance, in the same way that Charles II allegedly told his Catholic, tactless brother James. That much is fairly well known and it should be. But he’s so much worse than that, I just didn’t realize how much worse.


I knew that he was a liar since last - and especially since the absolutely DISGUSTING arse covering for Iran in claiming that their kidnapping of American servicemen and international law-shredding humiliation of them was “Standard Nautical Procedure” (Protip: It’s Not. Just imagine what the Golden Age Royal Navy would have done to somebody trying to claim such rights against their ships). That got cemented by his lies against Ted Cruz (which admittedly was all too common in the campaign). But those things? they “merely” establish that he’s inept, corrupt, and dishonest.

It isn’t until I read this article that I realized that in addition to these things, he is also A Fucking Megalomaniac. But apparently having just ONE in the White House with a job title that includes the word “President” wasn’t enough for Democratic National Party. Instead the sheer ARROGANCE has to jump off the page right at you.

Sure, you helped secure Virginia’s colonial frontier, endured terrible hardships to defeat THE MOST POWERFUL EMPIRE IN THE WORLD, helped unite the disparate states and factions of the Founders to crate the United States, the Constitution, and the institutions that endure to this day..... but Crazy Joe Biden is pretty sure he can take you.  Seriously… how much of an egotistical PRICK do you have to be to seriously believe this? Almost more importantly: how immensely, gravity-defyingly STUPID do you have to be to declare this belief IN PUBLIC?

While I realize that between two terms of Obama and a race that has seen Bernie Sanders, Hillary Clinton, and Donald Trump this is not an election season for the meek, I think that people still realize that on some level that one of the traits that has distinguished many of the greatest American Presidents has been modesty. Whether it’s the (somewhat affected/exaggerated) modesty Washington used even when he was at his most ambitious, to Lincoln making jokes about how ugly his face was, to Cool Caretaker Calvin Coolidge, to Teddy Roosevelt’s troubled childhood and soul-crashing end life. The knowledge of what you are NOT compliments knowledge and confidence in what you are, and some of the smartest things you can say in this life are admitting when you honestly don’t know the truth or aren’t capable of something, and when you ask someone who knows for help.

This is particularly important in a constitutional government, where you are Not the Monarch, you should not be a unilateral lawmaker, you do not have the right to rule unfettered by law, and being the head dog does not mean having a blank check to do whatever you want. It Is also particularly important in command of the most powerful job known because of how high the stakes are. And when you combine the two, well… no prizes for guessing how important this can be.

You are a Public Servant. You are meant to serve the public, and if the Public does not appreciate what you are doing it should retain the right to sack your rear end out the door. And if you try and make yourself more important than the system you damn well SHOULD suffer even harsher penalties. Which is another reason why our system suffers under the control of egotists and megalomaniacs: because they believe that they are the most important thing on the dance floor, and everybody else- hundreds of years of common law, local governance, and the like- can make way. this is also why I do think truly free republics prefer some degree of modesty from Presidents, and absolutely NEED people who will place the common good over their own petty things.

I don’t usually dig into peoples’ family or private lives, because I believe that without Extreme circumstances that should be one thing the gasping, gaping maw of government and public rubbernecking should not go into.

But I also don’t usually have to deal with people who have this degree of runaway ego. And no, I do not think that the tragedy the Bidens have suffered- and I can only imagine what the loss of a son is like- can excuse their patriarch behaving like THIS.

So let’s notice one thing he did NOT spend any time focusing on when talking about how right this was for him, and right for his family.. Where in this sorry, hagiographic article does ANYBODY give a livy-livered DAMN about what is the right thing for America? Apparently not Mr. Wonderful the President we deserve but not the one we’ll have.

let’s get this straight.

Biden the shameless liar, incompetent, and proverbial living job insurance for Obama claims that he would have made the best President if he ran- at least among the people in the race but Very Likely of all time- but that he didn’t run because he had to take care of his Family. Oh no America, you could have had Crazy Joe the President who was better than Washington, Lincoln, Adams, Jefferson, Reagan, both Bushes, any Roosevelt, and the like put together…

.. but you can’t, because Crazy Joe decided not to run. And why is that? Because he decided that things like the common good, the state of the union, the survival of the Republic, protection for its’ citizens, and all of that are *Trifles.* As far as his family matters are concerned, the Union can go get SCREWED.

In the context that this is being said by Joe Biden now, I find it deeply repugnant. And I will get into those reasons later, especially given that he is still Vice President. But even on the surface there is something I find wrong here. It’s one thing to care for one’s family, we should know as the family is one of the cornerstones of Conservative values and Civilization itself. it’s one thing to decide to focus on your family to the expense of political office (such as the many millions of homemakers and parents who never even THINK of running for office because they are too busy).

But I think an already-elected office holding official standing in front of the world and *gloating* that he would have been the best possible outcome in this presidential election but he simply won’t give us that option is something else entirely. It’s Lyin’ Biden looking down at the Rubes that elected his boss and stating they the PEOPLE are not worth it, but by the way he’s going to guffaw about how he would have been So Good And Great And Wonderful IF he had. It is in effect doing the inverse of what great patriots (see that word? Same root as Patriarch, and Father) have done if they TRULY believed it was for the best. It is not only putting the personal baggage of a handful of people over the possible Lives(and yes, let’s take Crazy Joe at his word about this for a bit) of HUNDREDS OF MILLIONS.

And to top it off, this also rubbed me of the kind of “I’m too good for you flyover gits” holier than thou nonsense that has permeated far, far too many people over the ages and in politics today, like every iota of Obama’s miserable Presidency. We Are the Ones We’ve Been Waiting For, we are the Miracle Workers.... but you all just aren’t Worthy of our miracle working compared to things like my personal, precious emotions. Correct me if I’m wrong, but that is the sort of thing that I picked up.

I never thought I’d say it, but Biden managed to insult and offend me in an announcement about how he was NOT running. And it gets worse.

Finally, something he and I can agree tentatively on. That to be President of the United States is to be the seniormost elected official of the US, the leader of the Free World, and the most powerful person on the Planet. It requires the great holders to be willing to put their petty issues aside and undertake the great task that can sometimes be keeping the system stable and doing nothing (like Coolidge). Let alone bigger conflicts like the Revolution, Civil War, or the global wars against the Central Powers, Axis, and Communists in the 20th century. It may be easy to forget with President Putt-Putt but the office is not always meant to be a golden hog to feast on. It often requires great, terrible sacrifices and it carries even greater responsibility.

So while I am not entirely sure if you truly must devote your whole heart and soul and passion to it (just because you may have to put your family and friends second to the job does not mean not caring about them), I generally appreciate what Biden said here.

But then you realize how this sentence rips a big gash into all of this family posturing, claims that he cannot seek political power, and so on. Because Joe Biden is the one who said it. Vice President Joe Biden.

Now Mr. Vice President, while you were waxing rhapsodical in this whole big long interview did you ever *ONCE* think what YOUR OFFICE TITLE MEANS? It means you the legal successor to the office of President if it is vacant. The Constitution states that if Obama keels over sometime between now and the swearing in of his successor the Vice President would have to step in and carry out all the actions and responsibilities of President until the end of that term. And as things stand, That Would Be You.

So Mr. President, if you truly were saying the truth in this interview, truly believed that you should not seek the Presidency unless you’re able to devote your whole heart and soul and passion ina a way you state you cannot....... WHY THE HECK HAVE YOU NOT TAKEN PAINS TO GET OUT OF THE OFFICE OF VICE PRESIDENT?

And this is not like this is some kind of super recent development that he was still reeling from and he didn’t have the time to file the paperwork over because he was so busy mourning. Beau Biden passed on a year ago. It was just a few weeks scant of being a year when this turd of an interview got dropped. So he cannot in good conscience claim that it was “Too Soon” or he did not have enough opportunities to lay down the burden.  He is still to my Eternal Regret our Vice President. And I REFUSE to accept any given excuse that a year of mourning, disorientation, and sorrow- no matter how bad- is a valid excuse for not doing what someone apparently feels is necessary when people like Lincoln and other great leaders worked through their friends and family DYING. So why on God’s Earth is he still Veep?

Is it because someone so wonderful and Best as you was Reckless or Stupid enough that you never considered this possibility? Is it because you were lying out of your rear end when you said those words and truly are willing to assume the mantle of power? Or were you being honest, but are just willing to stay in for the time even if it meant burdening yourself and the AMERICAN PEOPLE with you in an office You Are Not Up To Assuming Right Now *By Your Own Admission?*

I think I have my own ideas. But which one is it? And perhaps as importantly: how do Any of these possibilities make him good, much less gel with the unreal lauding he gave himself earlier in this very interview?

So what else is there? Well, of course he is confidently pulling for Hillary .... at least in public, considering how the DNC party machine works, the possible dirt Hitlery may have on him, and his urge to stay on the favored side of both. And there is the massive, shit eating quote here at the end where he says.

“My one regret is my Beau’s not here,” Biden said in the ABC interview. “I don’t have any other regrets.”

Like a lot of things coming out of this administration, superficially this looks heartening, feeling-driven, and all that fluffy stuff. While in actuality.... what kind of person on this world does NOT Regret the “reset” with Putin leading to invasion, the ineffectual withdrawal from Iraq, the kidnapping of American servicepeople in the Persian Gulf, colossal inability of the US to win or even break even on things as far afield as the Iranian Sanctions deal, Freedom for Cuba, or stopping the great migrant invasion in this position of power? Because whatever the answer to that question is, it is NOT A good thing. Not in any sense of the word.

Conclusion underneath the Cut. Because while this article is important in a number of ways, it’s not just about Biden. It’s also about us.

Children as young as 13 have been invited to describe their gender as any one of 25 different options in a Government-backed survey.

The choices put before teenagers in research for the Children’s Commissioner for England include ‘gender fluid’, ‘demi-girl’ and ‘tri-gender’.

The list of alternatives is being offered to children as part of a campaign to ‘find out how gender matters to young people’.

Youngsters are also asked whether they feel safe using single-sex toilets, and if their school should have unisex ones instead.
Other questions include whether their school should have just one unisex uniform.

The research, described by one of its authors as ‘committed to feminist methodologies’, was condemned by critics who said it was biased and politically motivated.

Yesterday Children’s Commissioner Anne Longfield withdrew the survey after the Daily Mail asked her office about it.

A spokesman said the version that had been distributed was ‘a draft’ and had not been cleared by the Commissioner. A new version will be prepared with some questions withdrawn.

The survey was designed at a time of deepening controversy over gender politics, amid claims by activists that everyone should be free to choose their own sex.

Earlier this month the Commons’ women and equalities committee, led by former culture secretary Maria Miller, said anyone over 16 should have the automatic right to change their legal gender. The committee’s report also claimed that 650,000 Britons – around one in 100 – are ‘likely to be gender incongruent to some degree’.

The research for the Children’s Commissioner involves 13 to 18-year-olds. It was commissioned by her £2.9million-a-year organisation, which is sponsored by the Department for Education.

It asks youngsters whether they agree that ‘people should be free to choose their gender’. Teenagers are then given 25 options to describe their own gender, choosing as many as they want. Those under 16 are advised that they might wish to consult their parents, but are not told to do so.

A 19-strong group of young men attacked staff at a centre for refugee children in Sweden with makeshift weapons, forcing them to barricade themselves inside a room.
The men in their care rioted at the accommodation centre in Emmaboda, south-east Sweden, on Wednesday night and staff members were only freed when police arrived.
The incident follows the stabbing of Swedish aid worker, Alexandra Mezher, 22, who died as she tried to break up a fight at a shelter for unaccompanied child refugees in the country.
‘They broke loose, and a total of 19 people banded together and did this,’ she told the newspaper, which reported that the men were carrying makeshift weapons.
The violence started after staff refused a request for a resident at the refugee centre to buy sweets, John Nilsson, from the local police force, told Barometern newspaper.
‘[They] became furious with the staff member,’ he added. ‘He collected together around 15 friends and the staff were forced to shut themselves in while they broke windows and did what they liked.’
According to RT, police arrested two of the young men. The 16-year-old suspected of starting the riot is in custody and another person has been released.
Sweden took in around 35,400 unaccompanied minors in 2015, nine times more than in 2014.
Tensions are rising in the country and on Thursday, Swedish Interior Minister Anders Ygeman said Sweden could send back 60,000-80,000 asylum seekers in the coming years.

EU migrant crisis: Sweden may reject 80,000 asylum claims

Sweden may reject the asylum applications of up to 80,000 migrants and should prepare to deport them, the interior minister says.

Anders Ygeman said charter aircraft would be used to deport the migrants but it would take several years.

Some 163,000 migrants applied for asylum in Sweden in 2015, the highest per capita number in Europe.

The numbers have fallen significantly since Sweden imposed tighter border controls this year.

Along with Germany, the Scandinavian country is a prime destination for refugees and other migrants entering the EU illegally.

Of the approximately 58,800 asylum cases processed in Sweden last year, 55% were accepted.

Of those facing expulsion, Mr Ygeman was quoted in Swedish media as saying: “We are talking about 60,000 people but the number could climb to 80,000.”

But he later tweeted to say he had not taken a position on how many migrants had grounds for asylum, it being a matter for the authorities and the courts.

Sweden earlier this week became the latest of a number of European nations to see tensions over migrants heightened by violence. A 15-year-old asylum seeker was arrested in Molndal, near Gothenburg, after a 22-year-old asylum centre employee was stabbed to death.

Mikael Ribbenvik, head of operations at the Swedish Migration Agency, told the BBC that assessing all the asylum applications would be “an enormous feat to accomplish” and would require more resources from the government.

“A lot of people leave voluntarily and a lot of people abscond. And then we have a few people that are staying on that are impossible to remove because of identification purposes,” he said.
