2. The craft is now 13 light-minutes away from earth and still sending back images.

   That would be 13 light-hours according to the article (that seems more realistic, too).

3. So how much longer until the Borg assimilates it and sends it back to demand a meeting with it’s creator?  (The Borg statement is purely speculative, of course, but given the assumptions made by the Enterprise command staff, that would seem to be the most logical conclusion as to how Voyager 1 was given AI.)
