  1. Rummy for President.

It’d drive the moonbats over the edge. Helen Thomas would implode. party

  2. But the research organization that obtained the document through the Freedom of Information Act described it as propaganda planted overseas that inevitably made its way back to the United States.

You’d think that a good reporter would name the ”research organization”. Of course, this is an al Reuters reporter journalist writer.

  3. That was a “gaffe”.  In politics that’s when someone tells the truth, and it leaks out.
I wish the Administration would lead off every press briefing with those words. and Pres. Bush’s SOTU speech the other night.

  4. Rummy’s my man!!

Hey!!  On a different subject—What happened to the “pots and pan” demonstration in DC during GW’s SOTU speech?

Haven’t heard a word about that collection of moonbats and traitors (opps, I’m being redundent).

  5. Bob, the imbeds were on the whole pretty balanced and did well. The problems come from the clowns who sit on their asses in the bars and poolsides in the International Zone and do balcony shots or who run out to get shots of the asshats dancing on a blown up Humvee, then generalize that little bit to the entire nation of Iraq.

As I recall, a number of the imbeds were even given the cold shoulder by various media types because they identified too closely with the soldiers. Translation: they did not cry “Quagmire!” when the troops halted the advance to Baghdad during one of the worst sandstorms in history (although that was when I first heard the word used, so I just knew that would become the mantra of the hasbeen defeatist media), or they did not portray the troops as pathetic buffoons, goons or whatever.

When I talk to my pals here in Seattle, they mouth the slogans, but when I start asking the basis for their opinions, and start countering them with details and facts, they usually get angry and cut off further discussion. Too bad.

  6. You’re just eeevilll, Rickvid. How dare you confuse them with facts?

I’ll bet that it’s like conversing with a parrot. party

  7. You forgot that the media will go as far as they can to find and air videos of our soldiers getting hurt/killed, but when it involves 1 of their own they will not give the video any airtime.....like the footage shot in the time right before Woodruff was hurt..
