multiple child killer, andrea yates, gets transferred from the slammer, to the booby hatch… Too bad there wasn’t a needle or a noose waiting, somewhere in between point A and point B

I feel the same way you do about this. Whenever I read about one of these monsters I console myself by thinking of all the “scientific experiments” that should be performed upon them. <My favorite involves a cattle prod, an orifice, and a ruler to measure height of the resultant leap as a function of # instances of...uh...stimulus.>
I think we should pass a law giving these types of so-called human being a choice: prompt but lingering & painful execution, or 1 year(?) as a subject of scientific research. We could test new drugs (after giving them the disease(s)), surgical procedures, pain threshold and endurance (yeah!), the healing of wounds,burns, radiation, beatings, chemical exposure, etc.
The deal would be; if they survive a year of it, then their death sentence is commuted to life without parole. If the research results in physical or mental damage or incapacity, well...tough titty.
Its only fair…
They should be able to plead ‘insanity’ after all.....they must be
out of their minds.

I’m sorry but that Tanya French looks way way too masculine! I will never understand the British concept of justice. What’s the point of sentencing him to life with the possibility of parole after 12 years? That doesn’t make any sense…
Just gimme a pair of pliers a blowtorch plus a very sharp fillet knife and they will think twice before they ever touch a child again!Damn, that pisses me off. At least that Vermont judge changed the sentence on the child molester after a whole lot of public pressure and a promise he gets treatment even in prison. I still don’t think the sentence matches the crime. I’ll give him the treatment he needs. He needs his genitals removed and flushed down the toilet! So what if the man has the mentality of a 10 year old. A ten year old knows the difference between right and wrong! A ten year old doesn’t come up with the idea of sexually molesting a child over and over again for many years, even sharing the girl with another sicko!

You’re probably right on that Rudebadger. The problem lies as I have said before with the “liberal elites” like our beloved Prime Ministers hideous wife Cherie Booth/Blair. These loopy bastards think that prison doesn’t work and that all crime results from poverty. I think eventually the wheel will come full circle and we will see a return to proper punishment because the general popoulation is quietly fuming with rage about all this.
If you watch the BBC you will see how they frequently criticise the tough justice meted out to criminals in the US and they have this superior attitude as if “we know better” Well this is the result. Sick perverts who should be locked away for ever will be back on the streets in a few years time.
Me I’m trying to escape the asylum before it’s too late!
