  1. The opinion starts unpromisingly, informing us that by “protecting even those convicted of heinous crimes, the Eighth Amendment reaffirms the duty of the government to respect the dignity of all persons.”

    I decided to actually dig out my copy of the Constitution and read the Eighth Amendment...an exercise I also recommend to Justice Kennedy and the other four moonbats justices who voted with him.

    Excessive bail shall not be required, nor excessive fines imposed, nor cruel and unusual punishments inflicted.

    Nope, the words ‘dignity’ and ‘respect’ do not appear. shit
