  1. ...Would somebody please tell me where all this went wrong?...

    Albuquerque?

  2. Liberalism, combined with tolerance to a diminishing return, is a mental disorder.  That’s my answer, and I’m sticking to it.  cool grin

  3. Oh, yeah, and that LEFT turn at Albuquerque that Steel mentioned…

  4. What went wrong?  It started when Sen.  Joseph McCarthy was vilified for being an American Patriot and exposing the Communist influx into our government.  After that, the Communist had a brilliant idea.  If they infiltrated the American education system, then they could corrupt American Values at the core.  Take over the children and it would be only a matter of time.  The Communists fucks are using the Marxist playbook and with the assistance of our commie sympathic MSM, we are on the verge of turning to a Socialist form of government.  I only hope that with the advent of the Internet, REAL Americans will wake the fuck up and see it for what it is.  Besides that, I have no strong beliefs.

  5. “This isn’t Pismo Beach! I must have made a wrong turn at Albuquerque.”

  6. In 1972 I bought a new Camero for $2,800.  Today that cost is about 10 times more.

In 1972 Grandpa would lay in the hospital for 7 days and then die and the cost was $1,000.  Today Grandpa will take 14 days to die and the cost is 100 times more.

In 20 years it will be a million a pop for a Baby Boomer to die.

Let the Chinese sell cars, we will sell American medicine.  Trust me, we would rather sell it than buy it.

Your insurance problem Allen is simple.  A 50 year old can get HSA health insurance for half of what you pay, geesh (MI & IA).  Your insurance company must have you listed as 150 years old if you pay so much.

Then you put your savings in a tax free HSA like President Bush.  President Bush said, “Hopefully..when I’m and old guy my HSA will be bulging with money.”

Allan drop your insurance in half and go tax free with an HSA, you Bozo.

President Bush is a multi-millionaire and has went tax free with an HSA.  Allan’s pay won’t go up and he pays taxes on every dollar saved for retirement.

    The poor do pay more.

Allan the best tax cut is NO TAXES and it’s TIME for your HSA. heart

  7. Raydog #4 is right on.  It’s the sinister alliance between SOCIALISTS and TOWELHEAD islamic fundamentalists that is fucking up our great land.

Where the hell is that $3 gas?  I am glad I don’t live there.  It’s awful sad that in Northern Virginia where I live, it’s CHEAP at around $2 a gal.

    HERE IS MY TWO CENTS:
Ethanol and biodiesel, combined with an increased reliance on simple things like walking, bicycling, and public transportation will eventually prove to be our way out.  Gas is NEVER going back to $0.30/gal or even $1.50/gal!

Sad but true.  Starting growing corn in your back yard and set up a still…

  8. Lucky those Chinese don’t drive cars, yet.  That’s all we need is a few hundred million chinese teenagers driving and driving up our gas prices.

No middle class for the Chinese. Or at least they need to use a rice based fuel and not “our” Arab oil for their autos.

My Chinese nephews will have cars at 16.  If all ONE BILLION Chinese teenagers had cars, gas would be $300 a gallon.

Yes Allan, in 20 years your Medi-Gap insurance will cost over $1,000 a month.  PLUS your Medicare part B premiums will be larger than your Social Security check, so that’s gone.  PLUS, all those Chinese drivers will make your gas $150/gal.

Hopefully...OCM has an some extra room in the Rockies for you.  He knows how to get FREE medication but he still is paying for his weed. weed

  9. Capitalism is perfect if we take Social Security “away” from just one generation, those over 65 years old today.

The richest Americans are over 65 and they will be fine.  Those that are broke, screw’em. doggiestyle

And when it comes to free pot, you get what you pay for, nothing. weed

  10. Allan, if you really want to know where things went wrong, it began when the Mets won their first World Series.  Anything was possible after that....

    LOL

  11. ztucka, from the looks of the surroundings that $3 per gallon gas is somewhere in CA, most probably Marin County or San Jose.  When I left San Diego 3 months ago gas had been as high as $2.75 and was hovering around $2.50, and those 2 places just mentioned were higher still.

I know it’s “apples and oranges,” but here in New Zealand gas is right around $1.20-1.25 per LITER....3.78 liters/gallon....$1 NZ = $.74 US...do the math....you don’t know what high gas prices are until you step outside the USofA.  Keep on driving those 10 mile/gal Suburbans and Escalades and I don’t care where you drill for oil (but do it anyway because we need it) or what Hush Bimbo says, the good ol’ days are gone, never to return.  It’s a finite supply, and all one can do is delay the inevitable.  CONSERVation should not be the sole property of left-wing tree huggers....CONSERVatives should be thinking along the same lines.

Z Woof, my friend, 2 questions...seriously (I don’t want a flame war).  First, where did you come-up with the figures of $300 and $150 for a gallon of gas because all the gooks will be driving cars?  Most are too poor to even think about affording them, and it’s just too damn crowded there.  Shit, there is barely enough room for them to walk let alone drive.  Not even considering that a great many Chinese are peasants who live in remote, rural villages with no sewage or running water, let alone roads to drive on.

Second, why is it that, no matter what the topic, you always work in the social security/medicrap angle?

OCM and capitalism:  Life is like a card game.  Everybody sits at the table and gets dealt a hand of cards.  Some people get a better hand at the outset than others.  Smart people play their cards right and come out OK, while others either piss away their good hand or never learn how to turn their bad hand into a winning hand.  Then, of course, there are those who are just lucky and those who are not.  That’s the way it is.  Life isn’t fair.  Fare is what you pay to ride the bus.  Socialism or communism (with a “C” or “c") doesn’t matter.  The rich and privileged will still be at the top while the rest of us will be even lower on the scale.  Capitalism lends itself better to the concept of “FREEWILL.”

  12. In the interests of solving the mystery whereabouts of these signs, here is the caption that was below the pic when I found it:

  13. Thanks, Allan; I know exactly where that station is in Malibu on the PCH.  To the left, partially blocked by the sign post, is Pepperdine University up on the hill.  I don’t feel so bad now; the Maliboobs can afford it, and most of them are whacky moonbats anyway, like Babbles Streisand.  Good on ‘em!

  14. INC you ask

    >Will we ever figure out the Chinese problem?

No.  My brother is married to one of those so-called “gooks” and she is full of surprises.

    >Why do I talk about the USA’s largest entitlement programs that they are taxes us beyond belief to sustain even though the cost projections are unstainable?

Mission from God. I will not rest till Medicare is reformed in the US and Canada.

And of course the HSA is the centerpiece of Republican health care reforms.  And the PSA for the reforming of Social Security are collectively called the Ownership Society in America.  I don’t think it’s odd that one moonbat here discusses Domestic Policy Reforms of the Republican Party.  We control both houses of Congress and the Whitehouse so we aught to be able to shift to open and free markets without the Liberals putting up to much of a fight.  They have raised the white flag, the loosers.
