  1. “You can’t fence the entire border, but what you can do is you can use a combination of fencing and technology to make it easier for the Border Patrol to enforce our border … And so I look forward to not only implementing that which Congress has funded, in a way that says to folks, the American people, we’ll enforce our border.”

Bullshit.  We have the technology.  We have the right of emminnet domain.  We can build a fence anywhere at any time.

  2. Right on Kirk. Oh gosh, your building abuts the border? Here’s some money, now go away. Bulldozer time!

No buildings within 150 yards of the border, and clear that patch of land down to the dirt. I think the military calls that a firezone.

$3,200,000 per mile ... $606 per foot?? If they spent the money on actual wall they would have something that could stop a tank. I think a lot of the money is going to be frittered away on gizmo-ology and contractor cost overruns; typical of any modern government project.

Wonder if they’ll save labor costs by using illegals to man the shovels ... after all, what American would want to do sweat labor out in the desert?
