The Churchill Saga

 

1. OCM - That doesn’t surprise me. I remember when the planes hit the Towers that Maher was one of the few on the left who right from the start was calling for retaliation. He was very pissed about the the terrorist act and while other Lib’s were mumbling about restraint he wanted blood. Remembering Maher’s outrage, I was surprised to see Vilmar post that video where Maher would have someone on that called victims in the Towers “little Eichmans”. My dial up didn’t like the download, but I’ll keep an eye out for a rerun. Anything that makes Chief FulOBull look bad is a good thing.

   OH OH OH - Late Breaking News - This Churchill deal has claimed it’s first victim! Betsy Hoffman just resigned her job as President of CU. Just was formally announced by the Regents at 11:10am RMT.

   About Damn Time - She has been going out of her way to cover Chief FulOBull’s ass, and screwed up making false statements about CU’s football team regarding some rape charges. See YA Betsy. Adios. Good Bye and Good Riddance!

2. OCM - Yes, academe is getting buried in shit of their own making. None of it has received anything like the coverage that Ward’o has been getting, yet there has been numerous campus scandels across the country, usually involving “freedom of speech for me, but not for thee”. Examples are Churchill stating that the U.S. should be abolished through violent means, and he is hailed by his colleagues as a provocateur of debate and thought. Yet a Harvard administrator, who’s stated goal was to spark debate, gave some un-PC statements about why women were still not equally represented in the sciences and math doctrines and the faculty at Harvard wanted to string the administrator up by his toes. So, yes, the same type of things that are being argued about Churchill are being argued at many other campuses, just not in the national spotlight. Of course, other academics of Churchill’s ilk have not said and done the type of shit that Churchill has done, as publicly as Churchill has done it.
