2. There goes the neighborhood.
   A WSJ article contained a calculation the the rate of return on the $24 was less than some historical T-note interest rates. I verified it on my HP-12C. True, it was compounded over hundreds of years.  Deferred consumption and compound interest.

   Old Wall Street joke: Do you realize, that if you put $100 into the stock market in 1905 that today ... you’d be dead?
