Local news thats on point for once,By Me no less:

The Fun Part right HERE;“Uh, I don’t have anybody to send out there,” the 911 dispatcher told the woman. “You know, obviously, if he comes inside the residence and assaults you, can you ask him to go away? Do you know if he’s intoxicated or anything?”
UNFUCKINGBELIEVABLE HUH GANG.
At this point I would like to think that women so strongly and universally understand their need to own firearms and be adept at their use that not owning them would be absurd. So the dispatcher ought to have been all “honey, just off the bastard”.
Sadly this is not the case.
In a smarter world, all these women would own several guns and have them stashed around their homes and vehicles. What we call the 3 step rule. They’d even own a couple itsy bitsy ones that could conceal in the smallest of purses or clingy outfits, because even a tiny gun is better than no gun at all, and even a small gun can put a bullet through the head of a big guy wearing body armor.
And they’d know that their own safety trumps any BS state law. They’d apply for CCW, but if it wasn’t allowed in their state, they’d ignore that unjust law and carry quietly. And they’d go about gun in hand in jacket pocket in the worser areas if they had no other choice ... and they’d know that ALL areas are worser areas if they are alone.
Sadly this is not the case either.
There is nothing wrong with calling 911. But when the cops are minutes away (20 minutes in Woolwich as we saw) and you have seconds ... your safety is your own responsibility.
Ya, that is a side of country livin that the women folk should really get on board for cause them cops, even when available, are rarely close by.
