   So btw, was this on the list of things the Stimulus was Supposed to fix? Most Likely but I’m sure Washington state spent it on Trains and, Oh Shit.Looky here;

   WSDOT has secured its entire $800 million funding awarded from the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act.
   Washington has 20 rail capital improvement projects underway, with five projects underway in 2012 and five more beginning construction in 2013.

2. It can’t be all politics and redheads all the time. So I post things that interest me. And if things interest me, I find out what makes them go. Natural engineers always look at the world and ask How, Why, Where. Natural historians ask Who, What, and When. I’m both. Regular people don’t ask anything, merely say Ooooh shiny if they even notice, and then go back to thinking about themselves and how wonderful they are or will be.

   The part that scares me is that almost the entire human race has no idea how anything works, how it’s made, where it comes from, what other things came before it ... etc. I always wonder what it is that goes on in their minds ... I’ve envisioned a steady dial tone ... but their horizons are closer than that.
