  1. Just like her chili...I am sure both of them will have fingers put into them while in prison.  The good part is that every Friday is chili day at Sing Sing.

  2. Eight to ten in the State Pen. best news I’ve read all day. This should be a lesson to all those deadbeats contemplating bogus insurance scams.

  3. I doubt that Wendy’s will see much if any of that restitution. This certainly serves as a good example for the next “bright idea” that strikes some lazy genius.

IIRC the woman was also under investigation for other scams including selling someone else’s home/trailer.

Looks like their careers are on hold or a while and you’ll have to look very closely to see any regret or pity in my eyes.

As my father used to say: “I’m really sorry, it’s just my face that’s glad.” party

  4. Remorseful!  What a farce!  Anyone can SAY they are remorseful.  But where’s the proof?  Or, if you please, where is the penance?

The “finger scammers!” I think we were better off when “fingers” meant a pickpocket.  Let us hope the fingers of these frauds get heavily calloused during their incarceration.

    cool grin

  5. I’m sure that these two “oxygen thieves” that have emerged from the shallow end of the gene pool, will be finding LOTS of fingers in LOTS of places that they never expected. heheheheheheheheheh… LOL  big surprise  hmmm shock

  6. They’ll be lucky if the odd finger is all they find in those places, RP.

  7. That Anna Ayala woman looks (to me) uncannily like Yolanda Saldivar (the one who murdered Selena).

Lesson learned from this case: watch out who you give “the finger” to.  wink

  8. Maybe five years ago (?) a black couple sued Denny’s for discrimination, claiming that they had waited for a long time but no one would seat them.  Too bad the security camera showed them eating quickly and leaving.  Unfortunately, I read nothing about them being prosecuted or sued.

  9. P.S. Skipper, sorry I did not read your comments more closely.  You’re saying, correctly, that my satire sometimes has too much salsa in it, right?  Correct.

I do a real good homophobe* satire about the danger of ordering cappuccino at Starbucks.

    * I hate that word—maybe “queer fear” would be better.

  10. OCM,

Harmless act?  Hardly harmless when you consider the ramifications listed in the article.  Wages lost, revenue lost, etc.

How can this piece o shite call her actions a “moment of poor judgement” when she first committed the act, then reported it, then went on TV to announce it to the world.  Last time I checked a moment constitutes brief period of time.  Kudos to the judge who had the sense to sentence these scumbags to a substantial jail term.

    OCM,

Your right about the pedophiles.  End their right to freedom forever.
