  2. -’n early 2004, T.I. was behind bars in Cobb County, Georgia, for violating probation. The probation stems from a November 1997 arrest and subsequent conviction for distribution of cocaine, manufacturing and distributing a controlled substance, and giving authorities a false name, according to a sheriff’s department spokesperson.’-

Now it becomes truly clear as to why this felon is having someone buy him highpowered firearms. Bet that music career is just a ‘cover’ for his real money making scheme.

Also found out that this piece of human waste is the ‘rapper’ involved in a shooting here (Cincy) last year in which one of his people was killed. Like the standup guy he is, he immediately disappeared. Of course if I was a drug using, drug dealing felon - I’d probably flee from a murder scene too.

And do we have to wonder why the ‘black’ community is in such a state of turmoil and failure? Take a look - Vick, Bonds, Bryant, T.I - not to mention a whole slew of others (Sharpton and Jackson) who are an utter disgrace to their race and community, but are held in higher esteem than Sec. Rice, Bill Cosby and others who are trying to educate and encourage them.

  3. I can’t disagree with that Wardmama. I put this up originally because I feel that it represents a special kind of moonbattery - the type of stubborn insanity that causes people to repeat the same stupid behavior over and over and somehow expect different results. This guy came up the hard way, sure, did the crimes and served his time, but was then given a chance at a new life. He may not have found Jesus but it looked like Jesus had found him (or whatever expression of good fortune works for you). But he couldn’t leave the thug life behind, and now he’s thrown away pretty much the rest of his life.

There is something wrong with the rap/hip-hop culture that demands it’s heroes to be villains so that they have “street cred” authenticity. I do not understand it but I have seen it a million times now. Musical talent, inspiration, and ability do not come from being a murderer, burglar, thief, pimp, prostitute, or drug dealer. It seems to be a twisted and exaggerated parallel to the hard life of the blues singer, but that parallel has been taken down to the lowest and worst possible level. It does not make sense. Embracing this “lifestyle” is utterly and completely destructive to the individual and the community, a real death spiral, but they rush to it as fast and as hard as possible.
