1. I wish I had a magic wand to bring him home, but their usual behavior would indicate the barbarians killed Matt two years ago.  I wish a plague on the barbarians, and may God bless Matt and grant peace to his family.

4. Actually I disagree with the killed him two years ago tact, simply because these terrorists thrive on the public aspect of their killing and we have found the bodies of all who have been killed thus far and we have found the other hostages.

   There is some reason, specific, but alas I am not a terrorist, nor a fringe lunatic and completely insane to fathom exactly what/why SGT Matt Maupin has disappeared. I believe that the fact we have not found him or his body, is a good sign.

   I believe that CPT Speicher died in an Iraqi prison, simply because the military was so quick on the draw with their decsions during the Operation Desert Storm. I do not think that the Army will make the same mistake this time.

   So sad, and yes this family which could turn their anger outward is instead trying to boost up and support the military - a vast difference from the media hound - ‘Mother’ Sheehan.
