This is an entirely different situation than the giant cloud of stench that enveloped large parts of Europe last year. That one was caused by fertilizer, in Belgium I think it was, couple with some kind of air inversion.

Meanwhile, a different kind of stink has pretty much closed the Isle of Sheppey, forcing thousand of vacationers to flee the quaint little island. That one IS fertilizer based

2. No suprise here, the fwench only buy 1/3 of the soap humans buy, also the gov (that employs over half the working population) supresses any inconvenient stats (lake the colon cancer stats) so ant water quality stats will be “adjusted” dont forget EU laws do are not applied there.

3. The French always act like their shit don’t stink, but now we know the truth.  I think we should help them out with it though because they are cracking down on the asswipe Muslims big time.  We could open a big new deodorizer market over there.

4. Okay. I have to stand up for the French.

   Do they stink? Don’t know. Never got close enough to a French woman… and if I did get that close, I wasn’t going to worry about how she smelled.

   My weekend in Toulon taught me three things:

   a) American Navy is in port: Hide your daughters.
   b) American Navy is in port: ?
   c) American Navy is in port: Profit

   Frankly (no pun intended) I like the Franks. Theirs is an old nation, with a rich history. Must say, when I was there, the exchange rate was ruinous and I found it to be very expensive.

   Would I go back? As a tourist? In a heartbeat!

   It was weird in one way…

   As I was trying to cross a street, I was struck by the fact that a Renault was not a foreign car. Also, the posted speed-limit was apparently optional.

5. Do they stink? No more than anyone else. My brother is married to a Japanese girl and she says all Westerners stink! However French plumbing leaves a lot to be desired. They also have fewer qualms about peeing in the street and they consider the street a suitable place for their dogs to crap in.

6. Oh and why on earth would anyone go the the Isle of Sheppey for a holiday. They could film a UK version of Deliverance there.
