House Coughs Up Social Security Plan

 

1. The best part about this plan is that it takes the Social Security surplus away from politicians to spend.  Anything we can do to take money away from them is a good thing.

   Another thing, if all Liberals hate it, it must be good.

2. Z, that is the only good part about this proposal. I’m all for anything that takes our money out of their greedy litle hands. Unfortunately, the weasels are avoiding the major problem that will start in 2016.

3. Skipper:  They would have to make the rules too.  Like, will the Personal Savings Account (PSA) have tax free deposits, growth and withdrawals, like the HSA?  Or will the withdrawal be taxed like an old taxed 401K?

   I prefer a tax free account.  Taxing every dollar saved for retirement is just plain wrong.  It doesn’t say anywhere in the Constitution that every dollar saved, must be taxed.  The freedom of a mutual fund option would be nice as well.
