5. The more I see this cartoon, the more I think of a chap I went to high school with.  He was as close to a geek as any of us got in those days, and we were invited to a Christmas “house party” at the home of a close friend of both our families.  It was a sit-down dinner party, very dressy.

   This chap didn’t yet have his driver’s license, and I did, so I agreed to make a double-date out of it.  All went well until we swung around to pick up his date.  And wow, was she dressed to the hilt!  It startled us all, especially her date.

   Truth is, he was reduced to blushing-bunny, fumbling helplessness the whole evening through, as if he was in the presence of the Goddess Herself.  Thank goodness that my date was good at carrying the ball, much better than I was, in fact.

   Poor devil.  If dressing up was enough to shock him silly-willy, I hate to think of what flashing could have done to him.

   Of course he’s making some egregious six-figure income these days, somewhere out on the Left Coast, the last I heard.  And still single, of course.

   Cheez.

   “The answer please.......” What am I - the endlessly competent cruise director of this ship?  If you’ll note, I was one of three individuals who commented on your behavior.

   But since you picked me out, I don’t mind answering.  I noticed how carefully you made plain that you wanted JUST THIS POST to delineate your rudeness.  Okay.  Your opening salvo is disgusting.  It is puerile and an in-your-face slap at members of this blog.  How’s that?  Plain enough for you?  You have a pig mentality, and I’d nuke you off this blog in a heartbeat if I had the power.  Insult comes as naturally to you as smoking your ever-loving pot.

   I’m sorry I make you blow lunch.  Must be a bitch getting it out of that 1960’s moustache.
