  1. Lovin’ the idea there Drew. Now if we can just get those pansy-assed liberals off our backs for a week or two...Mind you, TEH OBAMESSIAH will insist that Israel lay down their arms here in a couple of weeks, so they best get to it.

  2. Thank you for the credit for the initial idea, Drew!  A big kudo to you for fleshing it out, though--you’re the one that did the work.

  3. Drew, I just reread my comment.  Your calculations are off by exactly half.  The most important line of the post was the last sentence:

    “Then, do it again.”

That would take care of those miscreants that survived the first one.  Also, B-1s could be used more efficiently than the B-2s.  For one, the B-1s are probably more mission-capable.  Second, they’re faster, meaning that the TOT would be less, and more missions could be launched.

  4. Best estimate of time required to clean up the mess and start building condos?

  5. Oh, and don’t forget, we also need cropdusters for “salting the earth”.

  6. Mk-82s are 500 pounders. The 2000lb is the Mk84. Also, we have 93 B-52s available, so the logistics is there. As for fighters, the IAF is more then capable. Each navy carrier group would add 48 fighter bombers to the mix.
For fun though we need to add some B/C 130s with MOABs for the mobs err moabites. Each daisy cutter would do signifigant damage and would lessen the chances of recidivism among the Palistidiots thuscutting down on the number of sorties needed to solve this problem.
Really though, not every palistidiots is bad. in fact I would hazzard a guess that only about 99.9% of them are useless thugs.
So if we pull in 4 CAGs, we have almost 200 fighter aircraft at the ready. add the 93 B-52s, plus fly in B 2 Lancers from Diego Garcia, and we have the potential to eliminate one of the biggest problems of the middle east. Since the Lancers would have to loop arround and up the Red Sea, they could do double duty and eliminate a few pirate vessels as they pass Somalia.

  7. The sad thing is this is the most hopefull article I have read about this area, an alternative, with some benificial side effects would be to send the Democratic party to help them, that should suck the will to live out of them, might loose a few donks though!!

  8. Is this what happens when Drew is snowed in with nothing else to occupy his time? BTW, Heres to a happy new year to all you BMEWSers out there. Are we all ready for the slash crash and burn of Oclintonomics? I knew you were. Happy Days !!

  9. Drew, that was great work and of course typical. The draw back of course is that it isn’t you making the calls. Damn!  But it would work I am certain.

I have long held the notion that lice infection requires the total elimination of same. Half measures only re-infect. That’s why I’m against the use of rubber bullets and tear gas. It allows for be-backs.

Rich ... “Oclintonomics?” LOL .. Now that is a new one for me.

  10. Thanks Jeremy! Would 500 pounders be more practical? You get to use 4 times as many, but the saturation level goes way up. From what I’ve seen on TV, most buildings in the Gaza City “refugee camp” [camp my ass!] are concrete, and no more than 3 stories tall. How much bomb does it take to splatter one of them? My first idea was to use the bigger bombs, maybe with a small time delay, to crash through to the basements so they’d collapse any of the zillions of tunnels as well.

BlueState - yes, I know you said do it twice. I figured some smart guys in blue would run the show, and mostly target buildings and infrastructure the first pass. No point dropping big ord on an empty field. Once they’re rubble, sure, follow up with a second pass. But you could use cluster muntions for that one (just to bug the UN) followed up by daisy cutters. Shouldn’t be much of anything left by that point.

  11. Excellent Drew! I’m lovin’ it! LOL

  12. Drew, I never thought of following up the iron “dumb” bombs with cluster munitions, followed by daisy cutters (or MOABs).  Actually, the MOABs/daisy cutters could be used first, as there really isn’t a Hamas Air Force to shoot down a MC-130 with its rear doors open, waiting to slide the 30,000+ bomb out the tail end.  The great part about this would be that you wouldn’t need any other bombs after the FAEs were used.  Cuts down on needlessly wasting munitions on targets that should be killed with the first pass.  It also leaves said munitions available to deliver to Tehran, or Qom, or wherever OBL and AAZ are hiding.

  13. BSS! Good call!

  14. How can you all forget napalm!?!?  Cheap, easy to make and distribute, highly lethal to all forms of life.  Forgive me for being an amateur here, but somehow a mix of napalm and cluster bombs sounds appropriate.  Scorched earth would be a nice final follow up.  Napalm is cheap.  On second thought, it doesn’t matter if a concrete building is destroyed if there’s enough napalm sprayed over it.  Waste of good concrete if you just blow it up.

I’ll bet some of you thought I was getting soft on the Palestinians.  Nah.

Sorry to get here so late.
