CNN: Spitzer Will Resign Today

1. Wanna bet the ole Clintonistas were behind this since his ‘license plan’ caused the lil Missus so much grief - imagine, she just might be in McAmnesty’s catbird seat, if she hadn’t been for before she was against the Senor Spitzer license plan. . .

   Best cut our losses and hope to hell - someone finds the real dirt (i.e. Rezko) to bring down this black horse once and for all. But Fitzmas has already shown himself to be a real political hack - don’t see He Who Cannot Be Named being dragged into the trial at all.

   So Clinton must find another way to torpedo his campaign. This should be fun.

   Though, it wasn’t the Clintonistas.  He was transferring money through a couple of “shell corporations” that he created, specifically for this purpose.  He tried to take back a transfer of $10,000 (according to the New York Post) to break it up into two transfers, so as not to arouse suspicions.  Too late, the bank told him, then the bank alerted the IRS about the transfer, and may have told the IRS that the owner wanted to take it back and break it up into two transactions.  The IRS thought they had a bribery scandal on their hands.  When they found out that it was a prostitution ring, they called the FBI.  Game over.

3. Just to quote some idiot on DemocratUnderground (’idiot’ and ‘DU’ in the same sentence is probably redundant...)

   “Bush lied… Spitzer got laid.”

   Damn. Wish I’d gotten laid every time a Donkey lied…

   Trying to keep this from my wife… she doesn’t need to know how much Spitzer paid…
