  1. I bet that speech of Turbin Durbin was planted by Karl Rove.  Rove is everywhere.

Posted by Z Woof    United States   06/18/2005  at  08:09 AM

  2. Now that such madness as Turban Durbin’s outburst is becoming so common on Capitol Hill, I wonder if there is more to it than meets the eye.

Politicians are notorious, after all, for saying what they are paid to say.

Do I smell turbaned rats in the paymaster’s office?

    wink

IF JFK had said that...nope not him either, he was a LT in WWII

IF Senator Goldwater...dag nab it...he was a pilot in WWII

President Ford?  not him...another pilot in WWII

President Carter yeah he would...err what’s that?  Naval Officer on subs and even *he* hasn’t gone *this* far

Mayor Daley (Illinois politico, *caretaker* of Chicago) The man’s a dick, but even he was a Marine....and as far as the military goes...wouldn’t dream of saying this.

Denny Hastert HMFIC Congress Critter and Speaker of the House former Wrestling Coach and college grappler....wonder if *this* Illini could drop Turban Durban (on his head) in two outta three falls...oh wait...that appears to have already been done...judging from the mental mush spewing from Durban’s pie hole.

  6. If Colonel Rove didn’t plant it, he has it stored away for future use.  You can bet on it.  No one should underestimate this man.

  9. If anyone here happened to read the Amnesty report that included detainee treatment at Guan...,
you would realise the tortune concerns and human rights concerns are about facts and issues other that the Koran or religious rights.

It seems like all over the map for lefties and righties, most of the harsh bashing rhetoric is based on ignorance more than anything else.

  10. Good News:  We agree on something.

The message that Ward Churchill presented was reprehensible.

I believe he is part of a psyop to discredit the truth.

My views do not resemble and have nothing to do with Ward Churchill.

  11. Good News bg

Fox NewsSpew: Howard Dean Stock Rally

With Howard Dean rapidly infiltrating the face of the Democratic Party, stocks begin their rally.  Most experts agree that Dean will influence other Demonrats like Turbin Durbin to turn into hardcore Socialists and be voted out of office deminishing their dwindling minority.  “This is good news for the economy when Democrats are voted out of office,” said one source who aught to know.  So buy stocks now at the start of the Dean Stock Rally of ‘05.

Neil Cavuto told reporters after the show, “This could last a long time.  The Democrats are so lost they will probably run Screamin’ Howard Dean for Prez in ‘08 and ‘12.”

  12. The content and nature of what Churchill said and what Durbin and Amnesty said are not related in the least.  Churhill was factually incorrect, and drew conclusion that are not supportable by the facts.

Anyone who doesn’t want to look into the details and make rational distinctions is destined to fall for the massive propaganda efforts that are rained down on us.

The idea of grouping together all who protest the current Regime just leads to a total lack of understanding.  This thought process keeps the corrupt in power.

  14. C’mon, BG. Now you’re getting way out there in never-never-land with the conspiracy theory nuts. Try to keep it rational, please. And try to stay on topic if you want an honest debate here.

Durbin is making inflammatory accusations based on a report from an organization that has repeatedly attacked America. Have you examined how Castro treats political prisoners in the rest of Cuba? The captured terrorists at Gitmo are living in princely comfort compared to Castro’s enemies in Cuba. Does Durbin decry Castro? No, he does not. Neither does Amnesty International.

The US is held to a much higher standard than the rest of the world since this allows the rest of them to get away with heinous acts of torture, beheadings, slavery, etc. while throwing up a smoke-screen over the US treatment of prisoners, which is the most humane and civilized of any nation on Earth.

  15. And bear in mind, BG, that under the protocols of the Geneva Convention, we are dealing with irregulars.  Non-uniformed combatants.  Franc-tireurs. We are obligated by the Convention, in fact, to do no more than shoot them as spies.

Posted by Tannenberg    United States   06/19/2005  at  10:31 AM

  16. Skipper,

I apprecicate your thoughts, stated in a friendly way.

I’m not sure if you’ll want to ban me from this, or if you’ll just keep responding with gental appeals to reason.  I chose this site to post on for two reasons (roughly):

    1) It seemed like it like to make fun of conspiracy theories.

    2) It seems like it was inhabited by mindless believers in our President.

I understand if no one here want to think about this, but the most outrageous conspiracy theory of the most import, is the Govt. explanation of 09/11/2001.  The details as originally given, and then mostly substantiated by the 911 Coverup Committee are clearly lies.

This is important stuff, and if exposed, you’d be amazed about how much protest about GITMO and the Iraq slaughter seems very reasonable.

We, as honest tax paying Americans, have the obligation to find the truth and share it with everyone, principly other Americans.  Our tax dollars have been used for senseless murder and activities resulting in at least 1700 dead soldiers and countless dead Iraqis.  The War on Terrorism is a Lie!, The Iraq War was based on lies.  This is calculated and was based on the Lies about 09/11/2001.

I understand why you or other may not see this, and I would ask, as a fellow conservatives, who believes in limited Govt., who believe in a conservative (not activist) judicary, who believe in freedom of religion, etc. etc. to wake up.  The truth is on the side that Bush is a War Criminal.

Posted by bg    United States   06/19/2005  at  10:48 AM

  17. Tannenber,

I recognize the the Geneva convention is not sufficient to address all the issues concerning the ludicrous “War on Terrorism”.  See my previous post.

Posted by bg    United States   06/19/2005  at  10:50 AM

  18. BG, now that you have rattled off a bunch of old, shopworn, and discredited DNC campaign talking points in a ludicrous attempt to establish yourself as both credible and a “conservative,” we know all we need to know about you.

    Begone, troll.

    LOL

Posted by Tannenberg    United States   06/19/2005  at  11:02 AM

  19. I knew bg was a Deaniac Socialist who are all saying Howard Dean is conservative.

bg’s blog spews: Bush Lied, he knew about Paris Hilton’s feeding tube being removed, before the judge.  monkey

  20. Egad, Z, I know you are being facetious, but MUST you drag trollops into this, as well as trolls?

    wink

Posted by Tannenberg    United States   06/19/2005  at  11:37 AM

  21. Z Woof,

I hope you keep labeling me incorrectly and and discrediting my blog.  Perhaps those who want to know the truth will see you for what you appear to be:  utterly uninformed about 09/11/2001.

Posted by bg    United States   06/19/2005  at  11:56 AM

  22. I agree bg, you should stay.

However, the Skipper is not in lock step with the President and says so repeatedly.

We have all voted here to shoot the Sand Monkeys because that only costs $0.75.  Gitmo for 8 years costs $400,000.

Call us fiscal conservatives if you wish.  snake

  23. Skipper’s Notice:

I do not run people off from this blog just because they have differing opinions. This is now and has always been an open forum. I will run people off who are obnoxious, hate-filled, blindingly stupid or just plain assholes.

BG is welcome to stay, although I think he is a little strong on the accusations and kinda weak on the facts to back those accusations up. I can be convinced and/or have my mind changed easily. All I require is plain, hard, cold facts and evidence of same.

As for Kerry/Bush? Kerry was absolutely out of the question. He is a nut-job, right in there with Dean, Durbin, Byrd, Pelosi, Boxer, etc. The only other choice I had was Bush and I’ve got a major bone to pick with him over this illegal alien “amnesty” crap and the Republicans in Congress aren’t doing me any favors with these bloated budgets.

However, with that said, I prefer the lesser of two evils. On a scale of 1 to 10, measuring good and evil with 10 being good and 1 being evil, Democrats are -99 and Republicans are +2.

That’s my position and I’m standing by it.

Posted by The Skipper    United States   06/19/2005  at  12:35 PM

  24. Skipper,

I totally agree that I haven’t posted the facts in my comments here.  It is not, however, because I short on them. I don’t think people want that (lots of long postings).  I will post short articles if anyone request a thumbnail defense of why 911 was an inside job.

However, I would encourage you and other to start here http://bgtruth.blogspot.com/2004_07_01_bgtruth_archive.html

or get any of the books such as David Ray Griffin’s or Mike Ruppert’s.  These books are readily available, and you owe it to yourself and our Country to know the truth.

  25. Also bg: The Skipper posts a lot on History.  Not the made up kind, but the real stuff.  I use several sources for real history just so I can correct the blog if anybody makes a mistake.  One of my more reliable sources says something completely different than your so-called claim that President Bush and Usama Bin Ladin planned the New York attack together.  How would you counter the well documented factual account from noted historian Toby Keith, he reported:

Now they attacked New York City cause they thought they could win
Said they would, stand and fight until the very bloody end
Mr Bush got on the phone with Iraq and Iran and said “Now, you
knuckle-heads you better not be doin any business with the taliban”
    (Taliban baby)

So we prayed to Allah with all of our might
And then those big U.S. jets came flyin one night
They dropped little bombs all over our holy land
And man you should have seen em run like rabbits, they ran
    (the taliban) tune

Are you saying bg that President Bush lied and he didn’t make those calls? question

Posted by Z Woof    United States   06/19/2005  at  12:49 PM

  26. Z Woof,

I appreciate the explanation of where you are coming from.  I sympathize, absolutely.

The thing is, your idea of shooting the monkeys either promotes:

    1) almost random violence or

    2) assumes that our govt. personnel and contracters have a clue to who the terrorists are.

I would pray you don’t support the first, and there’s ample evidence to discredit the second.

Posted by bg    United States   06/19/2005  at  12:56 PM

  27. Z Woof,

    LMAO!!!!
You are quite a likable dude.

  28. When I say inside job, Oldcatman, I don’t mean to say “W” had a clue about any of it.

Posted by bg    United States   06/19/2005  at  01:13 PM

  29. I’m not saying random so don’t put words in my mouth and restricting any choices to only your two.

I’m saying if Shiek Yurbodi is still breathing there are times when that can be considered a WMD.

He is still breathing, he is still breathing...BANG....He is not now…

Posted by Z Woof    United States   06/19/2005  at  01:13 PM

  30. Oldcatman,

I was thinking that we were talking specifically about Gitmo.  I was thinking Z Woof was talking about how that detention area should be handled.

As a soldier deployed on the “battlefield”, those sad sons (and daughters)-of-bitches, hell yeah, do your assigned job or bow out of the military.
